I dont like David King. Mostly because he stands out considerably since he is so big. Almost impossible to hide with him.

Iridescent chains would be an awesome Ultra Rare. Basically when you hit a survivor with Iridescent chains it applys the broken status effect for 120 seconds.
-
The perk should encompass more than just altruistic actions in order to get a stack. I made a post on this many months ago and i suggested that completing objectives should reward stacks in addition to the altruistic conditions. Its easy to get 4 stacks on BBQ because the condition for getting the stack comes naturally. BBQ stacks coincide directly with the killers primary objective so getting stacks happens naturally and you dont have to even think about it.
For WGLF completing a generator, cleansing a hex totem, surviving the trial, etc should allow the possibility to get stacks. It would be more natural and you would not feel like your going out of your way or fighting other people to get those stacks.
-
Devs should hire Liberty Prime as senior admin.

I know, there's so many of these threads out there but it is widely accepted among both Killers and Survivors alike that the perk is overpowered, right?Annoying? Yes. OP? Definetly not.
I would say for one survivor it is not OP. Annoying as [BAD WORD] but one DS can be played around. Its when you get multiple that it becomes overpowered and a real kick in the balls especially when the survivors are not potatoes.
The impact a single perk out of 16 has is insane, definitely op
Agreed. For what it is in itself as a single perk it is way to strong.

Their original idea as is shown in the picture would have been perfect for that perk.

So in other words, it's a good combo with other blood-point offerings?
For example:
Total bp's in Objective category = 3000
With envelope it would be 6000 (if it'd multiply it)
If someone else also has a Party streamer you'd have 12.000 bp's earned from the objective category?I'd say your idea is very healthy (and it might as well be a x2 multiplier on the green envelope).
Works great for BP's in matches and counters farming. How it would work is simply increase point generation while in game not multiple it post game. For example cleaning a totem in game rewards 600BP. By using my suggested envelope idea it would give you 750BP. A 150BP increase. Essentially making it easier to max out point categories.

One of those Native American fellas that scalps you with their Mori. That would be awesome! I imagine a Native American killer having a special power such as a Bow and Arrow and then for his M1 it would be a tribal Tomahawk. Then taking a scalp as a Mori would be pretty cool. Could be alot like Leatherface where you have to scalp X amount of a certain survivor to get a special reward.
-
We need Benedict Baker as a killer. A survivor that has been in the entities realm for so long he has lost all hope and has resigned himself to the darkness and servitude of the entity.
-
Perk tiers are pointless and needlessly increase the grind by a tremendous margin.

Where is Liberty Prime when you need him!

Then a 59 second countdown starts. Then when the players are ready again it quickly reduces to 5 seconds. I don't get why people take so long to ready up.
Once there are 4 survivors in a lobby the game starts the 59 second count down. If all 4 survivors ready up before then the timer drops to 5 seconds. It seems like your frustrated that not everyone readies up once the lobby is full. The reason being is that some people want to make some last minute changes to their build, talk with the survivors via chatbox, spend some bloodpoints or even go take a piss before the game starts.

Truth be told its not that big of a deal. Its one minute. Not the end of the world.

Just got a 144hz monitor for the first time in my life and i would love to play DBD at a higher FPS on my new monitor. Can anyone tell me how to unlock my frame rate since the devs dont give us the option in game?Don't do it - there is no real benefit from unlocking your FPS and on top of that it is extremly taxing on your graphics card for no real reason. The game is fine at 60-62 FPS just disable vsync to make it even better.
Already did it yesterday. Running the game on low i get between 100 - 120 fps. With my 144hz monitor the difference was immense. Everything runs like butter and it has vastly improved my ability to hit great skill checks. If you have the hardware and the monitor to leverage it, it is worth it for sure.

You should be aware that this procedure might get you banned.
BHVR cant guarantee anything if you mess with the gamefiles and if EAC detects you, then youw ill get perma bannedJust fyi

BHVR should seriously give us advanced graphics options in the main menu. Absolutely no excuse we have to tinker with ini files and what not to do something that should be included in the game to begin with.

I find it a bit jarring that people still call it a free escape. Idk why you expect people to take your opinion seriously if you can't be honest about basic facts. Is the description "When the killer picks you up you are immediately freed from their grasp?" Then it's not free.
That being said, I still hate the perk and it needs to change.
The semantics are irrelevant. Hit a skill check and escape the killers grasp. Sounds like nothing short of free to me.

In my experience lag switching happens once in a blue moon. I have owned and played DBD for over a year now and can count on one hand how many times i have without a doubt experienced actual lag switching. It is never acceptable however regardless of the circumstances. It is cheating and anyone that does it deserves to be swiftly and permanently removed from this game.

I would like it if the devs would implement the close hatch feature at some point in the near future. I liked how if the killer found in first he could simply slam it shut and then the two exit gates would automatically power leaving the survivor with a chance to survive while also circumventing the bullshit of the standoff.
-
+1 they should absolutely be hidden until the conclusion of the match. Some perks rely on there existence being hidden like NOED and Bloodwarden. Hopefully we will see it in the next balance patch.

Nurse in my opinion. I love her design, backstory, power, etc. To me she is a blast to play against because of how threatening she is. For alot of folks on here considering her balanced would be more of a subjective opinion depending on how you look at things. I personally consider her to be balanced at her base form. She is a very fair killer to play against if you are good at mindgames and not just loops. The only thing that makes her unbalanced are her extra blink addons which serve as a hard crutch for bad nurses that make a misplay.
I enjoy playing her because she is all skill. Its fun being able to translate your experience into performance increases that you can see. Makes playing her feel rewarding and gives you a sense of accomplishment. Playing against her is great because of how much she changes the gameplay. Nurse 10/10 best killer. A terrifying foe that is a force to be reckoned with.

This happened to me once. A dwight body blocked me into a corner then used the pebble perk to alert the killer to my location. Killer went after me exclusively and let the other guy live. Even let him farm.

If it takes too long, chances are high that the lobby is bugged (unless you are high rank).

When i play Nurse Lerys Memorial Institute makes me want to cry. I will take Rotten Fields all day every day if it meant i didn't have to play Lerys as Nurse. When playing killer in general i hate Badham Preschool the most.

Sounds like business as usual. I am not having a problem with campers. Only time i might get camped is if the killer is on the fast track to losing and i am the unfortunate victim that gets caught.

If the likely hood of us getting a refund is nonexistent then i think it would be fair to ask that these petals atleast be automatically converted into the offerings for the next event when it comes around. I dont know if the devs have an event planned for Winter Solstice or if our next event will be the Lunar New Year but it would be nice if these event offerings were converted to whatever event offering will be present at the time.
-
@Mister_xD said:
again: you didnt waste these BP at all, since, if it hadnt been the event, you'd be stuck with 87 brown add-ons / offerings you would never use, so where's the problem?
also you never know, the event might come back next year? the offerings are just disabled during the time where there is no event, so they will probaply be available again next year on halloween, similar to the event items.
just stop complaining about this. no one asked you to buy these offerings, you could have letten the entitus eat them away and stick with other stuff or you could have used them (yes, i know. lobby waiting time, but why do you have 87 event offerings on your killer, when you couldnt play killer during the event?).
they didnt give any refunds in the previous events (Howling Grounds & Scorching Summer BBQ), so they wont do that this time neigther.I would rather have 87 brown offerings that i could use vs 87 offerings that i am locked out from completely and wont get any use out of for a whole year. Dont be shitting on the brown addons. There are some legit good brown addons that are worth having. Wooden horse and badmans keepsake being ones i would LOVE to trade my petals for if i could.
Also its not like i can avoid buying petals altogether. The petals usually spawn close to the center node and you are forced to buy them or else you might be passing up a perk or particular item of interest. If i had the option i would have simply not spent any bloodpoints this whole event but because the devs think its a good idea to have a hard cap on how many BP you can save i am forced to dump the points regardless of if i want to or not.
Also just because the devs won't do something does not negate the fact that i have the right to criticize them for it and ask for change. If you are happy with your useless stash of petals then that is on you. I personally feel scammed out of half a million BP for nothing.
-
I personally hate looping. Bores me to death. Thats why i play Nurse almost exclusively now so that i dont have to put up with the nonsense.
-
@Mister_xD said:
since the event items didnt come on top of your blood web, but replaced other common items, you didnt spend any more bp than you would have without the event.
also, isnt it your own fault that you didnt use them? you had the opportunity to. usually these items even paid back much more than you've spend on them too. besides that, the event might eturn, so you could use them next time or just keep them as a trophy of some sort (like me)The argument can be made for survivors that they had plenty of opportunity to use them all but that argument does not work for the killers. I have 87 unused petals on my nurse. That is 261,000BP i wont get back and there is absolutely no way i could have used even half of those petals up in time before the event ended because the queue times were taking 20 - 30 minutes for one killer match where as survivor was an instant queue. The devs should refund killers the points they spent on the petals because we hardly got to use them at all.
-
I made a thread suggesting this awhile back myself. Currently at present regression rates it takes about 320 seconds to completely regress a gen at 99%. I initially asked for a 1:1 regression/progression system. So it would only take 80 seconds to completely regress a gen. That might be a bit to strong but i think a 2:1 regression level would be good. That would mean it would take 160 seconds to regress a 99% gen. Not instant but if the survivor decide to abandon a gen it will take away a significant chunk of progression.
-
@JanTheMan said:
Why exactly did you have 87 unused petals?Because i was working on getting all perks on my nurse. I tried using as many as i could once i got all perks but with the queue times being 20 - 30 minutes for me i could not even come close to using them all.

Metal Spoon (common)
+8% charge speed--Increase Blink Movement Speed--
White Nit Comb (common)

Remove the bloodweb - it creates such a grindfest.
I think it would be a lot better without having to go spend blood points, in my opinion it, having to scour through the bloodweb for items, is just a waste of time.I think it would be a lot better if everything was available.
Hell to the no. I agree this game is grindy but i love the bloodweb. Once i have saved up to a million BP i enjoy sitting down and burning through them. Its fun because i am always excited to see what i will get next. The bloodweb is also critical for game balance. If everything was available easily people would always run the best items and offerings. The RNG of the bloodweb coupled with the rarity tiers means using powerful items comes at a cost and forces players to be mindful of how they use there best stuff.
The bloodweb could serve to be adjusted but not removed.

Dodge suspect groups or do what i did. Play nurse. Learn her and learn her well and then when you see an SWF group bring out the strongest perks and addons that you have and show zero mercy for them. Bonus points if you bring a mori for the inevitable decisive user.
-
lol ol' Sally Smithson would have a field day with console players.
-
Nurse. I love how much she changes the gameplay. Conventional tactics do not work on her as the one playing her or those playing against her. I find it really fun even if it usually leads to us getting destroyed. All hail the floaty girl!
-
My current nurse build is Shadowborn, Sloppy Butcher, Blood Hound and BBQ with a pine cone and wooden horse. The sloppy butcher and blood hound is nice. It has helped me keep track of so many survivors where i would have otherwise lost them. Its especially useful on really dark maps or any of the corn maps. The range addons help alot aswell. It increases your map pressure and allows you to close alot of distance.
For someone looking to learn nurse at base i would recommend using Pocket Watch + Metal spoon. It keeps her blinks unaltered but you get lower fatigue time which can help lessen the blow of a misplayed blink. I am still a baby nurse and am no where near god tier but that is the build that has been working for me and i am at rank 1.

There's WAY too many Offerings overall, i'd delete all those Common & Uncommon BP Offerings & make the Rare BP Offerings Common except BPS.+1 I hate the wreath and satchet offerings because for real they are nothing but pollution. All we need is one rarity for the wreath and satchets and have them provide 100% bloodpoints post game in their respective category and provide double point generation for that category during the game. Ex: Brutality wreath would provide 600 points per hit as opposed to 300.

An easy fix is for them not to activate until the perk has been activated, a survivor being hooked, a survivor getting a skillcheck on a gen, etc.Would prefer the devs to not take a cookie cutter approach to this problem. Totem RNG needs to be seriously looked at. Where it spawns, how it spawns in relation to survivors and generators, overall visibility etc. There is not a one size fits all for this problem especially since there is so much RNG associated with it.
