One of the most killer sided maps in the game. Just never respect and break the pallets, you should be good once the whole map becomes a dead zone

The counter is to keep spam vaulting the same window/pallet so hes forced to uncloak. If you just keep throwing and W'ing against an invis wraith then thats just bad gameplay on the survivors part.
Is it possible for the game to have multiple counters
-
The whole circle all over again
Survivor perk is broken ----------- SWF

Not gonna lie...actually I dont need to lie, I HAVE VIDEO PROOF
There is this Freddy game that was hopeless and everybody was going to die. We were in the basement and I got downed. I think I was the last one still alive. I don't remember exactly what happened, but I left my PC to do other things since the game was already over. When I return to the game, he was still carrying me on his shoulder, completely still. I decided to wait and see how long that would last. I think it lasted about 15 minutes until he hooked me.
What happens is that we both went AFK. I did because I thought I was already dead, he did because maybe he wanted me to struggle out and get the hatch.
Maybe I will find the video and post here. I record and upload all my games on youtube as "non listed"

Okay, but how do you know you're normally connecting to the DBD servers with a ping of 30? That info isn't even available.
It is on PC by pressing ESC
-
@Marc_123 said:
After the update you only see the bar if your ping is bad.
Not always like it used to be.
I hope they reverse that as i want to see my ping.
Then this doesn't work every time
I've found myself in games where my ping was bigger than 100 (normally is 30)
-
But devs are buffing flashlight saves and removing locker saves (that happens in 5% of games at best?)
-
I can't believe people are still complaining about DH

No, it's probably just an attempt to create a false equivalency.
In my experience, killers DC less overall, and when they do, it's usually not until at least mid-match. DC after multiple coordinated stuns/blinds? Sometimes. DC after 5-6 minutes of getting dominated in chase? Sometimes.*
Killer DCs after the first blind/stun? Not sure I've ever seen it.
Conversely, a surv might DC the second they realize Lightborn is in play because their whole game plan was to get blinds, and they are unwilling to play any other way. Which is why it is best to hide that you have it until well into the match, if possible.
*there is no excuse for DCing, but these are the situations most likely to result in a killer DC, in my experience.
It happens

To be honest, I've never seen a Killer DC over a survivor getting a flashlight save. Stand in a corner after multiple blinds, yes. DC after not getting a single hook after five minutes and 4 or 5 gens done, yes buf a flashlight save, no. Has this happened to you frequently before?
I had a killer DC just because I flashlighted save someone
Well, it was their first down with 2 or 3 gens left
-
Some maps need that killer sided push

I don’t think answering my question with a question provided any feedback on this thread, but thank you.
My point is this is a question that has no answer. It can go both ways
-
Why do killers DC when a survivor gets a flashlight save?

The counter is called doing gens, and having the awareness to see his shimmer/hear his snarling/hear the extremely distinct bing bong that is only hidden with specific addons. The hell kind of take is this?
While I think some of the reasoning and examples are a bit of a stretch, I do agree with the concept that a killer's power shouldn't inherently come with a counterintuitive flaw. Its one thing to give counterplay, but another to make a power actively work against the killer, especially one that relies on things outside of the players agency (such as AI pathing and logic.)
Getting the banner should just remove the chase. Giving buffs for doing so is extremely bad design, and actively discourages use of the power.
Doing gens is not a counter, is the objective
-
Wraith is invisible, indetectable and fast whilst cloaked. There should be a counter to this, and it's not even base kit.

Is it possible to get tier 3 with fragrant tuft of hair without stalking everybody? I honestly don't know, I thought it was necessary to stalk every survivor for a bit. If not than thats the answer I guess.

No that's not what I'm saying, I'm saying they should be removed from chests because they're useless items in the game. Whenever I run plunderer's I get keys that do nothing instead of something useful like a medkit or flashlight
I see, I misinterpreted you and I thought you are a killer main complaining about survivors escaping with a key found in chests. The only useless key is green, the others are still useful to escape through the hatch or even to bring to your item collection. They are very rare without Plunderer and to be honest I think if you are running the perk you should expect a key, otherwise you should be running Appraisal. Just a thought.
They need to rework the green key. They should make it last for 30 seconds.
And I agree that at least green keys should be removed from chests, but the others can stay.
-
WOW, a survivor escaped through the hatch with a key, which means the game was practically over, so why bother?
Are people going to die in real life if you don't get a 4k?
Gee, people these days man, I can't
Just try to have fun with a videogame for once.

Killers can't kill themselves on hook, so the entire match has to play out. Survivors killing themselves on hook is also more of a detriment to other survivors, as it secures 3 other people are much more likely to lose regardless of their skill and input. AFK killer literally just gives 4 players a free win.
I've said multiple times that either hookicides need to be addressed, or killers need a similar way out. There's just no parity in the ability to bypass the DC penalty.
That goes beyond my point

i doubt it
this isn't the first time killers went afk
hell the first time mmr was introduced every killer went afk
Oh yeah, but survivors killing themselves on hook was to increase kill rates, right?

@AcelynnBen said:
k not to sound rude but
are we really complain about a free win here?
i know you are trying to have fun but if the killer is afk they are most likely lowering their mmr because they are sick of everything
More like lowering kill rates so BHVR can buff killers/nerf survivors
-
Remove survivors
Done, killer wins
-
@Terion said:
After 6.0.1 they cant press E to win anymore, thats the only reason.
That's literally right now

"fix" this problem and they can go AFK as an alternative
-
@Pulsar said:
Please just let us see ping in the lobby.
They clearly removed it because they don't want to expand servers around the world
So people will not dodge lobbies with bad ping and let others wait for an eternity to get into a game
-
NExt: remove running from survivors
-
Rip scratched mirror Myers
-
Just try to do gens, if the killer gets you so be it
If you hide in the hopes the killer will find the other survivor first they may start working together to hunt you down, and that is not pleasant
Do your part, and maybe record the match. You are going to have video proof that players are working together if that happens.

I feel like Walter Sullivan has a lot of potential. He could set up haunts around the map that could do damage or turn into a ghost that chases survivors for one minute after a survivor has hung around a haunts aura for long enough. Plus Walter Sullivan would have the potential to bring in great maps and music. I feel like Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, and Silent Hill 3 have had a lot of representation in Dead by Daylight were as Silent Hill: The Room is underrepresented despite being a really solid game. The games after The Room don't need representation since they are all pretty bad and should be relegated to cosmetics.
Sounds like the Knight's power

Very safe pallets, extremely large map and a lot of Killer powers are nigh unusable on RPD.
Safe pallets that once they are broken the area is a complete dead zone
-
I don't understand how this map is survivor sided. To me its one of the most killer sided maps in the game
-
OMG I've seen everything
People complaining about 4%, not even survivor players, killer players!
4%!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
@Pulsar said:
I'd like an option to forfeit.
Count it as a 4K and give the Killer 15K BP. Let me go next.
I don't think giving BP is necessary
Just keep all BP that you have collected in the match and protect all items, add-ons and offerings. And make sure to not lose a level pip
-
And the killer?

Well, I've never understood why you would SWF with someone you couldn't talk to, since it defeats the purpose. Rest assured, a majority of SWFs are also in communication with each other.
I do that all the time

No, there should be a way for the game to know if it's SWF. I'm pretty sure the devs have said something about the difference in stats between solo and SWF. And you're for some reason trying to redefine SWF. Queueing up together is literally what SWF is.
There is a huge difference between just queueing up together and doing the same with voice chat
-
@Yatol said:

No i disagree, with debuffing SWF this would make the game unplayable for the common SWF, the real issue is spawns
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3249784#Comment_3249784
In order to queue together you have to be in a party which means SWF
Not really

You keep saying SWF is a small percentage anyway, which if you look at my matches it definitely isn't, to avoid talking about how OP it is. There is a way to balance for solo and SWF simultaneously. Give SWF a gen debuff, because that's the #1 thing that is different between solos and SWF. They should not be able to coordinate body blocks while coordinating faster gen speed, while also demanding that they never get nerfed because solo, which they don't play, exists alongside them.
"Give SWF a gen debuff"
There is no way the game knows if a team is SWF
Queueing up together is not SWF
-
@TheArbiter said:
Maybe for Ghostface specifically but not fastest game in general, I've been in a match before where a Billy running lethal pursuer downed us all before 60 seconds was up (and yes I played like an absolute potatoe lol)
Well, the official speedrun website states that the WR is 2:28 and I downed them in 1:25, so it was just a matter of hooking them up fast and they attempt the unhooks. Probably not going to beat now that I am noticing the WR has the basement involved so the hooks are close together
EDIT: Nevermind I was looking at the Trapper WR LMAO
GF is 1:51, yeah, I definitely could not hook them in 25 seconds
-
I would just buff an add-on that makes all traps in your hand disappear as soon as the 5 gens are done and spawn after the exit gates
Similar to the Nemesis add-on for zombies
-
They will get removed very soon
-
@Veinslay said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3247879#Comment_3247879
SWF is not a small amount of players. The devs said way before 6.1 that at least a 2 man makes up 54% of games and that's certainly more now after the patch
Where are the sources?
Also, queueing up together without coms is not SWF. There is no way they can know whoever is just playing together or who is with voice chat
-

The game's over by then, bro. Even if it wasn't you have windows. The killer doesn't have time break all these pallets and still expect all the gens not to be done.
Nah, that's not true and you know it

There's no guaranteeing kills in this game, absolutely not. Even still, just 1 or 2 max? It speaks to how OP SWF is.
Yeah but whats the answer to that? Nerf survivors to make solo q even more miserable?
There is no answer. The game is designed around solo q. SWF is also just a small percentage of players anyways.
Thats why you should just move on. What "losing" a game will do to you? It should do nothing.
-
@danielmaster87 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3247859#Comment_3247859
Connect the dots. You break one pallet, the survivor easily has enough time to get to the next. It's by design!
And once you break everything?
-
@danielmaster87 said:

So if it's SWF, just accept the loss?
If you are not decent enough to at least kill 1 or 2 I guess
