They can see Scratchmarks tho, Dracula in bat form only cannot see the Survivors themselves (like The Spirit).
He also has a hidden boost to the volume of footsteps in Bat Form, fun fact.

This is also an issue with Knight's orders, I can confirm.

Hmm, I'm gonna try and report it as a bug, it might actually be one!
Yeah, can't hurt to try.
-
Aw hell nah they went and oxidised the copper tube.
(In all honesty I'd open a bug report for this)
-
Seems like an oversight, probably should be changed.
-
Probably, yes.

It's almost funny how slow they are with bugs sometimes.

I must say(ble), I'd like if she got her own Iron Maiden shirt. I have it for Claudette and Mikaela, it is a nice cosmetic.
Yeah, she'd rock a band tshirt really well. Honestly that shirt fits well on basically every Survivor.

I thought this is a buff, isn’t it?
I mean if you never ran Blurry Photo, yes.
However, any Unknown player with any sense never unequipped it, and the addon is now less effective than it was pre-"buff". It wasn't even nerfed just to compensate for the basekit changes, it was nerfed further than that.
-
Well I made it to 178 before the rift closed. I wonder if I'll ever hit the 200 mark.

that char has already too many skins (not to mention that she's annyoing, even more than feng so…)
I mean it's not like it'd be taking time up from the art team if they did it. It's literally just an already existing shirt on a different character.

Hooking people on butcher hooks: all fine.
"BM" : not fine?
How often does it happen to you that you feel the need to post about it?
I can count on one hand the killer "BMs" I notice during a year.
Well yeah, hooking people on butcher hooks is the point of the game. Bleeding people out for 4 minutes is just being an ass.

Unlikely.

Yeah, maybe if it gave a small BP bonus (like 5-10k) for every thumbs up you got, people would be less inclined to be unpleasant.

Yeah! They very much do read the forums and occasionally chime in from time to time. Mandy and Peanits both respond to some posts, and I'm pretty sure they have a team of people who's job it is to read posts on various platforms (including the forums) to collect feedback to give to the other teams.

It almost seems like you need exponentially more rift XP to get to each new level. I can't imagine how much more one would have to play, more than me or you, to get to 200.
I have a friend that played the hell out of Chaos Shuffle and managed to make it to tier 200 this time round.

I would agree, but it's really situational because of it having a 6 second window of being able to use it. Then it goes into cooldown, even with the shorter cooldown I feel like trying to make it work all the time can backfire, especially if the killer knows what your doing. I can agree that it's fun to use if you manage to make it work, but it requires a plan and sometimes it might not even work in your favor at all.
I mean, if the killer catches on to you vaulting back with Cut Loose, then it allows you to fake vaulting the window again and just running away instead. It opens up a bunch of dynamic gameplay potential and mindgames.
Maybe they could increase the Perk Window to 8 seconds too, a lot of values they could play around with.
-
I don't think it needs a rework. Just make the cooldown 20 seconds. Maybe add lockers to the things it suppresses so you can use it with Head On.
I really like Cut Loose as-is, it's super fun, it's just the cooldown is overly restrictive.
-
That's actually a neat idea. I think 30 seconds is a bit short of a duration though.
The item could be a small tape recorder, it'd fit with Zarina very well.

On top of that, Undone actually counts as 2 regression events if even a single token is used.
I tested it in a custom with a friend to confirm after seeing the spikes after 2 kicks. The additional regression counts as an extra regression event, effectively halving the kick limits.
Add any other regression perks and a gen can be blocked in record time.
Superb design.
That sounds like a bug, I'd report that.

Hearing players aren't playing with max stack Huntress Lullaby at all times. Hard-of-hearing players are. Therefore - create a visual indicator to reflect the auditory one that's already in the game.
I don't get why this is so hard for the playerbase to get behind.
Yeah, the opposition to such a feature doesn't make sense.
It also doesn't make sense that it's still not a feature yet. It literally is just a PNG icon on the screen when a sound plays.
-
I think they should add completed healing actions and unhooks to the conditions that grant tokens. Maybe make that the only one, actually, since having it tied to missing skill checks just makes it better the worse the players are which is kind of bad design.

the buffs weren’t even out for months. It only last a few weeks before they nerfed him and since I don’t think he’s got a single buff.
You are very much mistaken.
He also got a pretty significant buff afterwards when they removed lightburn:

he wasn't overpowered. in that same patch, they nerfed deathslinger and deathslinger still feels awful to play vs competent players. it doesn't seem that there is light on revert said poorly conceived changes.
I mean the devs thought he was overpowered, so they wouldn't want to compensate for nerfs that are meant to make him less strong.
It's debatable if he was actually overpowered in an objective sense, but I think he gave way too much for the effort required to play him and he was a pubstomping menace for those months. I'd get like 5 Wraiths back to back, it was so awful.
-
@mizark3 said:
I'm not 100% certain on my historical timeline, but weren't those nerfs in direct response to his kill rates skyrocketing to ~70-75% from the patch 4.5 and 4.6 buffs he got? Even with the buffs taken into account, combined with the 5.3 nerfs, he clearly is still net positive.
Yeah, with Patch 4.5.0 they increased his lunge and made him entirely invisible past 20m while cloaked.
4.6.0 made Windstorm basekit.
5.3.0 reverted the lunge buff from 4.5.0 because it was too strong combined with Windstorm being basekit as well.
They also removed Lightburn a lot more recently, which was pretty huge for him because he suffered from that mechanic the most out of every killer.
-
Why would they give him compensation buffs when the nerfs were due to him being too overpowered?
Anyway, Wraith is fine. Very solid killer and easy to pick up and play. The "couple of weeks" (it was 7 months, actually) that he was like that wasn't really fun at all. It was Wraith after Wraith after Wraith.
He's also still incredibly common, actually, the most recent stats put him at #3 in terms of pickrate.

no i think it is because some of the accessibility are direct conflict with game-values… such as… being attentive the game.
I very much hope that the devs don't hold a stance like that because it's quite frankly unreasonable.
-
@Devil_hit11 said:
i think they don't want you to listen to music while playing dbd. that is why there is struggle mechanic on 2nd stage on hook in my opinion. it is specific there for you to not toon out of the game. Skill-checks are kinda same idea. they're there to make not toon out on the game.
both of the mechanic have virtually little to no impact for being successful at them but they fulfill this niche. the visual terror radius mechanic they put because it is essential mechanic towards like killer mechanics. The TR is also there to make you attentive to the game. for long time they had no visual TR for same reason as no visual skill-checks or auto-struggle mechanic but they put it in for gameplay disabilities reasons.
It doesn't matter if they don't want you to listen to music or not. There are people who literally cannot hear that are at a pretty significant disadvantage because of this.
People being able to listen to music is a nice bonus, but that's not the main priority.
The only reason it took them that long to implement visual TR is because BHVR are famously slow at addressing even basic accessibility concerns.

me too i dont want to use the skin but i like the mori
and thats something i can see happening but theyd make more money specifically from me if i could just use different moris on any skin
They've said that it's something they're somewhat interested in in the past, it's just a lot of UI/technical work. I can imagine that the Finisher Mori will accelerate the rate of Visceral Outfits in general, and the concept of individual mori customisation will become more of a priority due to mori animations being more of a selling point.
If people keep asking for it, I can 100% see it happening.

I cannot stand Pig. Big slowdown at best, tunnelling/instakill cheese at worst. The only reason she gets away with it is because she doesn't have good chase potential.
You bet my ass I'll be playing as safe and as boring as humanly possible if I see a Pig.

Then you Should know Tbagging is dropping your "sack" on the individual which is very SA if your advocating for humping in game to be bannable then Tbagging would have to be a packaged bannable offense as well regardless if one waste more time then the other.
Which wanting to ban this stuff in the first place will only cause more problems and more work
I mean in DBD specifically you're not actually teabagging on anyone. It's just crouching in the case of Survivors.
I agree, banning it will cause a lot of work which is why I think that the solution should be at the gameplay level instead of being passed on to support. They already have enough to deal with.

does not matter how mutch time is wasted, worst is going to be 4 minutes, which, lets face que is even longer than that, when we have modifiers or game mode active.
Also you say there needs to be feature for this, can you explain idea that can not be abused for survivors for gameplay reason? and what would you do for tbag at exit gate in return?I think the only way to prevent bleedouts that won't be abusable is to add an option to accelerate the bleedout timer. That reduces the amount of time that can be wasted by doing it.
For tbagging at the gates, I'd add a concede button once the EGC has started that causes every Survivor still alive in the trial to escape instantly. This would include currently hooked survivors (or would be disabled if a Survivor is hooked) in order to prevent abuse from a gameplay standpoint. That way the Killer can force Survivors out without having to watch them teabag at the gates.

both the same for me. Petty childish behaviour which does not serve any gameplay value.
I agree, both are childish and don't serve any sort of gameplay value at all, but one of them wastes a lot more time than the other.

Some of you never been through the days of OG HALO, and it shows. 😝
Killer can't tbag the same way as Survivor. But it's the same essence. But as Survivor say "take your humps and move on".
No, I've absolutely been through the days of OG Halo (and Call of Duty). Doesn't really mean that they should keep egregious methods of making the game miserable for other people around today. Like even removing the implications it's just a massive pain in the ass to deal with, deliberately wasting minutes at a time isn't fun.
There will always be methods to BM, but this is kind of a different deal to regular teabagging or hitting on the hook or whatever.
I don't think that just because it was necessarily not frowned upon back in the day, doesn't mean that it shouldn't be frowned upon now. I got called my fair share of slurs too in the Xbox 360 COD days. Some things are probably better off left in the past if you ask me.
Making the game less miserable for people isn't a bad thing. Preventing people from being able to bleed Survivors out shouldn't take away from your enjoyment from the game at all, unless you're a particularly unpleasant kind of player that is.
-
@TinyTenzin said:

does tbag at exit gate also get bannable offense then?
I don't think either are going to end up bannable, but either way they're not directly comparable.
Teabagging at the exit gate wastes less time, and the killer can actually prevent it by pushing them out. There's also some pretty serious implications from "humping" a downed survivor. You can't do anything about it as a Survivor as well, you have to wait it out.
For the record, I am absolutely not a fan of either. I think there should be a way to force Survivors out remotely if the killer wants to concede the match at that point, so they don't have to deal with the whole BM thing.
However, bleeding out and especially humping are far more egregious forms of BM than teabagging at the gates. That's just fact.
Ideally there should be methods to prevent BM like this without swamping support with more reports, it's an inefficient way to deal with things like this, and if possible the fix should come at a gameplay level. Make it impossible or lessen the effect it can have instead of handing out punitive measures.
-
I don't want DBD to end up looking like a MOBA with all these icons.

I so wanna use the Naughty Bear mori on base Trapper without the voicelines.

Remember Jason vs Freddy? :D "Or was it Freddy vs Jason…"
I mean Freddy is the only character in the game with no cosmetics aside from prestige. The license holders aren't great with things like that.

Also, what the the motion suggests (humping) feels a bit more insidious than your typical teabagging, etc. Not to be melodramatic, but I don't think it's a huge stretch to say it could feel like implied sexual assault to some people. Like you're down, helpless and I'm just gonna have my way with you.
At best it's dumb and annoying, at worst it could be triggering.
I also think it should be bannable (especially when it's to this extent - four solid minutes of it is just absurd), but it's also not something you can disable like a flashlight macro, and having staff review every report of it would be a lot of effort.
But it is, without question, the single most pathetic and cringeworthy iteration of in-game BM there is, and anyone who does it like this should take a long look at themselves.
Yeah the implications of W-Sing are a lot more serious than just regular teabagging for sure.
-
@Brimp said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3812630#Comment_3812630
Well it's not really under the list of bannable reasons and no way to prove its "working with the survivor" so…
I'm just talking generally, I know it's not bannable but it shouldn't be possible to BM this much.
-
@Brimp said:
So why should this be bannable?
It's obvious griefing for one.
I'm not sure if it can feasibly be bannable but it really shouldn't be possible to down a survivor and W-S on their body for 4 minutes straight. That's just ######### behaviour and they need to do something about it.
-
There's no point in reporting it because it's not bannable.
Terrible sportsmanship sure but unfortunately not against the rules.
-
I was slightly curious (and bored) so I totalled up all of the Cypress moris I have across every killer and it comes out at ~2.2 million bloodpoints. Kind of a bummer but oh well.
I'm not sure why they can't just refund the amount of Bloodpoints per-offering (maybe with a minimum cap so people who would've had less than 1m BP don't get screwed over). They can see how many offerings people have, and they took this exact approach when Hawkins was removed (and the associated offering alongside it).
