I mean, it was said straight that father wanted her to be a part of the Yamaoka lineage.

Just played new Lery. Damn, it got A LOT of vaults. Some of them form really nasty loops with pallets.
And also, if you walk near the inner wall, windows (not the vault ones, like, real windows) make sound, which feels like someone opening a chest. Really disorienting.
-
Gonna go looking for NOED, leaving unhook for team.
Tho, if everyone just die too quick cause of NOED, I'll leave most likely.
-
Beast of prey implies that red stain comes from Entity. When you use this perk, you lose connection with Entity for moment, so your red stain disappears.
-
Nah, he just stands so he couldn't be seen in mirror.

I think reload time should be faster, dependant on amount of bottles you have at the moment. So, if you wasted only one bottle - you reload quicker.

All this "frustration for new players" is forced attempt to ruin ruin (lol). Who even gonna pick MID-LATE GAME TOTEM PERK, which almost useless, comparing to old one? Like, I just watched random Tru3 video, where Ruin was destroyed at 50 secs. Yup, hello there, lategame.
This perk is terribly desighned. I'd said that it's bad, if it stacked with pop and other gen-defense perks. But, well, this perk isn't bad, it's counterproductive.
Like, for example, new ruin could have been something like this:
The way I would reworked it is to simply slow repair speed while it stands by rougly same amount of percentages as the average amount of skillchecks / 2 (that's assuming that survs hit 50% of skillchecks and don't suffer regression). So, let's assume that survivors had 10 skillchecks while they repaired gen. They hit 5 of them and suffered 25% regression. That's 20 secs. That means 0.25% penalty for repair speed.
I understand, my solution isn't really perfect, since it's requires a lot of math and statistics. And tests. Also, probability of skillchecks is different if multiple people do gen. But I believe, that roughly same amount of average regression could be achived with correct numbers.
So, it still could give early slowdown, but more consistent and more friendly for new players, since they don't have to worry about hitting great skillchecks and blowing up gens. This also gives killers early pressure, cause, let's be honest: killers have enough perks for midgame. And also, there is no guarantees that new ruin gonna survive to mid-late game, where it's most effective.
By the way, devs, buff DS. Skillcheck is too small, it gives frustration for new players, lmao.

Easiest question
-
Can I have close up on my waifu in main menu? Bhvr, pls
-
Survivor: don't really pay attention for positioning while repair gens. Killers tend to caught me outpositioned.
Killer: too lazy to learn how to play certain killers
-
Legion menu theme sounds really heavy, I bet his chase music gonna be awesome.
Tho, I'd really hope to hear "Hello Zepp" in DbD someday...

What happened with ptb oni?
They nerfed his ability to flick with turns. On current PTB they reverted this change to certain degree, I think.

The German one is better. If I were a Jedi main, I would be comfortable saying that without worrying about being outed as a Sith main.
Too bad Disney also did update and screwed everything.

Just gonna do it for memes, tho I don't think a lot of you gonna get the reference

Using "only" in that statement makes you a Sith.
By the way, in german version it says something like "A sith deals in nothing but absolutes". What do you think, is it still sith-ish thing to say?

Call me a moron, but less territory to worry about buys you 'time' to setup right? Right?
I mean survivors can't instantly hop on gens with intervention so...it's not as effective as ruin, but does pretty much the same nah?
If one gen blocked by corrupt, survs gonna hop to another. It don't really buys time. I mean, yeah, you gonna locate survs quicker, but is it a problem in the first place?
Less territory to worry about is good thing for setup killers like Trapper, Hag or Demo. It's also good for slow 110% killers. Point of it is that survs forced to came to place where you already planted traps.
If all gens are affected by ruin, it buys you time cause of skillchecks, and time for searching/destroying. It also works and buys time while you chasing one surv and affects other survs while they are repairing. Or looking for totem.

It lost all early game pressure. Corrupt intervention?
Ruin crucial for early game. More than that, it's unical in it's role. Gonna quote Otzdarva here: "Corrupt don't buy you time, it buys you space, so you can have less territory to worry about." And yeah, don't forget about killers, who requires some setup, like Trapper or Hag: early game is extremely important for them.
-
Just find out that while ruin is active gens gonna appear to be as if they were kicked by killer. Sparkling and stuff. Meaning, the survivors could easily figure out that killer uses ruin. Also, worth to mention, killers can't use Pop goes the weasel while ruin is active.
This completely gonna remove ruin from my loadout. If before knowing this I was like "maybe I should be optimistic, give it a try, maybe figure out stuff and compare numbers", now I like "No, this is definetly a terribly desighned nerf".
-
Only a sith deals in absolutes
-
@DBDNeedsARecode , you knew something, right? Are you psychic or something? xD
-
I decided to create another topic, cause my original comment to this one was too big. I gonna leave here a link, tho.
-
Yeah, basically there is no other slowdown perk for early game. Corrupt don't counts, cause it don't give slowdown, it gives space.
-
*Laughs in ptb Oni and "basic attack" with perks change (hello, Legion) *
-
It really depends, but you have to avoid cleansing as long as possible.
-
The Doctor comes in dlc with my waifu
-
You need a quick start for this to work tho. Or 3 gen strategy. I mean, it doesn't stop survs from repairing 3 different gens at the beginning, while you chasing 4-th surv.
-
Try use Surge (Demogorgon) with thrilling tremors (Ghostface). Check this: surge activates when you down survivor and regresses all gens in 32m around you by 8%. When you pick up survivor thrilling tremors are activate and block all gens, which aren't being repaired for 16 secs. This gives broken gens additional 4% damage and free info about gens, which are being repaired, since, as I said, they not gonna be blocked. Combine this with pop goes the weasel (Clown), so you can go and kick that gen. Lastly, put in this build surveillance (Pig), cause its stacks with pop and surge.
Specially effective on killers with mobility, who can travel through map quicker.
And make me a favor: if you play with this build and see me as surv, please, dodge the lobby, lol.

1) You mean flashlight? You can blind killers with it. This can be used to save your teammates while killer picks them up.
2) Some perks belong only to certain characters. You can unlock them in bloodweb for all characters, if you buy teachable, which appears after you level up to lvl 30, 35 and 40. Or you can visit shrine of secrets and buy teachable for shards. Handy, if you don't wanna lvl up certain characters or don't have dlc.
3) Some characters have better teachables than others. But Meg is fine for start.
4) No. You can chat with other survivors before game and with all players at the end, if they didn't dc to this point.

Ghostface.
The guy obsessed with killings. Putting details together for weeks he did his job efficiently and cruel. Not to mention he outsmarted everyone and wrote about himself in the newspapers.
That's... Thrilling.

My headcanon is that after Trapper killed miners he brought Entity attention upon himself. Archie was way too old and not really sane enough at this point. Entity realised that Evan could be really good killer and tried to bend Evan's will. Evan tried to fight, he refused to obey. Entity tortured him physically with metal bars and other painful stuff we can see on his default skin. Evan eventually gave up, but Entity wasn't satisfied, because he wasted too much time. So, to prove that he is loyal to Entity he was forced to kill his father. We know that Archie's body was found later on the Estate.

Happen to find the one on the new map? I haven't had the chance to look.
Do you mean Sanctum of Wrath? There is no toolbox there. Golden toolboxes are limited of 1 per realm. For example, there is no golden toolbox in Temple of Purgation, cause there is one in Mother Dwelling.

Why everyone so sure that Benedict and alchemist are the same guy?
As I pointed out some time ago, I don't think that hallowed blight protagonist (aka alchemist) is Benedict Baker. Firstly, Benedict was refered as researcher. He is analytical guy, who study things first, then act later. At the same time, Alchemist wasn't smart enough to realise, that he was able to beat killer only cuz of serum. He became stronger and decided to inject killers with same serum... Why exactly? Cuz he was obsessed with serum and couldn't add two plus two. I mean, Benedict would probably thought twice, before doing this. Archetypes don't match.
-
Some things don't end up in Entity's world. Like, the very same thing happened with Bill's M16 (canonically he died holding it. You can take it from his body in L4D2). David Tapp's gun also don't made it so far.
-
Most likely those three called revelations, cause they are a teaser.
Can this be a easter egg or reference for something licensed tho?
-
What about questions, which were collected before? Will there be Q&A stream?
-
The guy responsible for Overwatch lore. Like, we still don't know why Jack and Gabriel became enemies and what exactly happened between them in Swiss HQ. But yeah, we know that Phara loves rock music, D.Va is StarCraft player and Symmetra is autist.
-
This is really Michael Chu styled lore question. Iam getting terrible flashbacks.
-
1) Wraith becoming Entity's servant.
2) More info about Benedict and Weeks town (does someone even remember that?)
3) Man on photo in Mother's dwelling. Who is he? Why he isn't mentioned in Huntress lore?
4) More about Entity. Namely, why it blights once a year. What is the purpose of this?
...and so on. I have a lot of other questions, but they are implying on plotholes with licensed characters, so they will be unanswered. That's fine, I guess.

Also, aside from playing Feng Min, I just LOVED her as a victim when playing killer. Her squeaks and squeals were so cute whenever I smacked her around that I felt compelled to target her just for the enjoyment of hearing them.
She's just too cute to ignore as killer, and too good to pass up as survivor (especially when starting out as survivor, those starting kit perks are fantastic for newbies), and that's why I feel like you're right about her being the "Best Survivor" IMO.
Don't hurt my waifu for squeaks pls
-
Feng Min. The cutest survivor ever.
And also. The most confident survivor ever. While other survivors just staying in lobby scared, she smiles. Can you imagine that? She don't gave up hope in this dark and cruel place, nor she ever will. All her attitude is like "just give me a challenge". Not to mention, the smile is really beautiful.
This smile really had a shocking impact on me.

We need to buff monstrous shrine to do this, so it could finally be useful.
-
Literally tried fs save for two days. Wasted a ton of firecrackers and flashlights in process, but still did it. Even hit the timing right and saved my teammate.
Currently 58 lvl, completed all available challenges.
@Elk, we are still soulmates :)

So, I guess you guys don't know that dataminers already found 4-th lvl lore and posted it on wiki...

Here are my thoughts on Bill. A bit outdated, but still interesting.
Now I believe that Bill was transferred physically and revived by Entity, just like Spirit. It happened after L4D2 survs found his body.
