  • She's A in my eyes just because I main her and she's def better than everyone that isn't blight spirit and nurse. Hatchets can be very oppressive when you can aim or survivors just wanna run in a straight line or just can't dodge them. Also not sure why this post appears at least to me on front top three on forums, but the amount of people saying I'm wrong or rude for teabagging her is astounding. That post I made about tunneling someone if they try body blocking me with BT got nothing but praise from what I remember, but when i'm survivor and I'm like Killer tunnel me so I teabag everyone is like. Bad survivor bad! 👿 Ya'll wild

  • If it were spirit nothing she's not that bad to me most times, Blight I'd question why, Nurse I'd celebrate.

    Uh... Excuse me?

I literally see that every other forum post, man.

Aside from "Nerf X, Y, Z", it's always about how certain perks are crutches.

Well you're right but I don't see any of the perks as crutch just because if you're bad you're bad and no perk will just carry you that much without some kind of skill or lack of skill from the other side.

There could be a plethora of reasons why she wanted you.

Maybe, since you hadn't been hooked, she wanted to maximise bp (more hooks).

Maybe she was trying to be a douche,

Or maybe she was going for the injured person, the one who would only take 1 hit to down than two.

It might not just be because you took her totem, she mightve just gone to hook defense to try and get the one kill.

Teabagging, especially in this hyper specific situation, makes you a douche who needs the affirmation of others. Teabagging is a douche thing. Tunneling, if not done when its detrimental to do so (not in this scenario) is a douche move. Face camping at 5 gens is a douche move. Slugging all 4 to death is a douche move.

Should any of these be removed? No, because getting the heat on you with teabagging if the killer is stupid enough is actually a strategy. So is camping and tunneling and slugging.

Side note: if you try and get the killers attention at any point in the game via teabags or flashlight clicks and you get focused don't get mad, you asked for their attention, as so they gave it to you.

Didn't do any of that think she just took me going for her hex as a challenge. As for teabagging in these scenario making me a douche I mean if you wanna say that I guess, but going for me when I had already looped her for as long was just silly when she could've just hit the other person with hatchets before they even saved me. She had hatchets because she missed them trying to hit me before I left gate so. teabag

  • lmao. Man was talking about second chances like it matters. If it matters killers shouldn't use aura reading perks and survivors shouldn't use exhaustion perks but it doesn't matter.

  • If this means I'll have teammates that at least know the basics of the game or survivors that I go against as killer that aren't going to sit there playing immersed while I walk up behind them i'm down.

  • Love the game but the bugs it gets are wildly disgusting and not surprising anymore.

  • @Shaped said:

If they didn't bm you why bm them?

Tunneling/camping is not toxic and it can be neccessary at times. Just like looping/"genrush" isn't.

Petty reasoning I guess. People always say tunneling isn't toxic but a lot of killers only do it because they're salty about a survivor doing something. Some will do it just because they know they'll not be able to catch the person again if they give em the chance and I understand that , but as I said she's huntress she's not an M1 killer all she needed to do was hit the person unhooking with two hatchets and she'd be able to drag it out and get some more kills but she went for a petty tunnel attempt that didn't work since the saver had BT. There was 0 reason for tunneling me outside of being petty because I wasn't going to die if she hooked me again unless they left me to die on that hook meanwhile two others were on death hook not sure if the person that saved me was though but I see it as her tunneling to be petty from me cleansing the totem since she complained about it in chat

  • @Hex_Llama said:

Okay, so, a Huntress tried to tunnel you and failed and then you teabagged her to gloat, and then you came here to gloat to us, too. I'm not sure, but I think you might be a sore winner.

It was just funny that she got mad at me in end game chat is all I really wanted to convey here. It wasn't to brag about escaping and teabagging her. Maybe had I just said she tried to tunnel me and I got out after teabagging and she got mad maybe people would've understood that. Its silly to me to try tunneling for one kill because you did ######### that game. Whenever its me playing killer there I just let them go they've won whether I get the one kill or not. If I can't at least get two or more I don't bother trying at the end. No need to be petty for ONE kill it says nothing about your skill because you still failed to get any of the others. Now had she been tunneling to get her third kill I'd understand but tunneling end game for one kill is pathetic to me.

A lot of people call ruin and other slowdown perks crutches, I’m not saying I agree or disagree, but I have seen a lot of people saying that

That's so dumb though. The perks exist for their specific purposes that doesn't make them a crutch.

  • @justbecause said:

What are they supposed to do at endgame? Search for fully healed survivor across the map?

Maybe git gud. They're a huntress player with hatchets. Huntress can easily down two people and she could've downed the person trying to unhook me effortlessly. She was just being petty trying to kill me instead of playing smart missing two hatchets attempting to catch me before running out the gate at the end.

  • @botrax said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/277682/huntress-player-mad-because-i-teabagged-them-at-gate-after-a-failed-tunnel-attempt

T bagging at the exit gate is toxic bhvr ans is reportable but you need to prove it so unless you register your game you have no way to prove it so reporting player is worthless

    its not bannable

  • @Ilovezarina5 said:

Like #########, why people say its okey to camp? Dude I played match where I got camp at first hook, thats not funny nor okey, some says that camping its a bad strategy for the killers because the others can use that time to rush generator, but what about the person being camped? The game turns into a painful waiting simulator, this is a reality in solo queu nowadays

Going to suggest using more perks that help you in chase and getting better at looping if you haven't hit your peak skill already. Maybe look at videos on how to deal with it. Unfortunately it'll never not be a thing that happens so you'll have to get better at dealing with it or just doing as much as you can to make it hard for you to get caught and be camped in the first place. I will suggest spine chill + resilience for more window safety.

  • @Torsti56 said:

I have this weird habit to crouch exactly 2 times just to say "thank you" if game was close and fun.

I just think do killers misunderstand me? Of course I don't keep waiting at the gate to do that but if killer is chasing me there.

I use to do that too! Spoke about how I teabag but not in a disrespectful way on reddit and they down voted me and then someone said he didn't get why they downvoted me. I'm like me either they're just sensitive I guess then they downvoted him too 😂

I had a bad match with huntress yesterday too. She had the 1 shot hatch and she was pretty good at throwing it but instead of playing she decided to facecamp me in the basement knowing she could 1 shot whoever i was playing with. Luckily i was with friends and i told them not to come and ill just die. Sadly in the end she did get everyone since there was 1 random player with us.

Does that kind of gameplay make me salty..yes yes it does but i just move along and hope for a better match. Though yesterday i had horrible luck with facecampers and tunnelers. Now i do understand tunneling but i dont understand it when theres 5-4 gens left.

I hope your matches today will be good ones! :)

I'm mostly use to that kind of bs with this game so it doesn't really upset me anymore. I agree though when you've still got 5 gens I don't understand the camping..Feel like at 3 is when you should start to proxi/camp get one gone and then you can prob just get the other three without struggling too much. Had asked a bubba that camped one of the randos when we got two gens done and he said he had to secure the kill since we did gens really fast there and he won because of it so it made sense. We said our ggs and parted ways.

  • @Jasix said:

So the whole point of this is... you have a rulebook on how others should play and if they don't abide by it you lower yourself to juvenile behavior... cool.

I wouldn't call teabagging juvenile behavior but sure 😂.

She could have been a newer player? Maybe new huntress. Some killers guard hexes even if they arent the best hexes but lets be honest when survivors see a burning totem we want to break it and it will bring survivors near.

I hate survivors that teabag at the gates i really reaally do. Theres no point just move along you won, go into a next match and goodluck it goes well too. You dont know whats going on with this killers life maybe they are having a bad day and you just might have made it worse.

Then again maybe im too kind for this game

You're very right and its why I don't teabag killers often because I'm on the receiving end of it sometimes especially if I did something I knew they'd not like but I don't complain about it either. I just sit in my chair salty sometimes or laugh it off and go to the next game. I'm not really a mean person either. I prob shoudl've worded the post differently or just posted the screenshots of the chat but what I wanted the convo to be was about them getting mad about me cleansing their totem and then trying to tunnel me out last second for it.

  • @Jasix said:

I'm not mad - I just think your whole post is pointless aside from looking for some ego stroking. Congrats you used your perks and teabagged someone...

BTW these are your words from a previous thread on Aug 30: "Getting rid of one person before all gens are done can greatly turn the game in your favor and go from a 0-1k game to a 2-4k. Nobody really likes being tunneled or camped but as killer sometimes it is the only option to secure at least the opportunity to win especially on certain maps. Don't rely on it all the time but if you have to proximity camp someone on hook so you know where people are and to prevent a save at 2 or 3 gens go for it and you should do better after that"

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2463018#Comment_2463018

So a few days ago you say sometimes killers have to tunnel, but today you herald yourself as some type of great survivor because you teabagged someone who tunneled to try and get a win.. hypocrisy much?

I'm done with you and this inane thread.

Yeah but see that isn't gonna happen often end game 😂If you pay attention I said BEFORE gens get done. Also just wanted to help the OP of that post feel better about his own camping. I still agree with it but that doesn't mean i'm gonna be nice about you tunneling me.

  • @Hannacia said:

Tunnel you out at the last minute?...So you are saying the killer tried to kill you at the end of the match and you see that as wrong? When theres 1-2 gens left the rules survivors have made are out of the window.

Also you are proud of being a douche? Goodjob.. Killers have bad matches. Sometimes they they have to tunnel. I'm sure teabagging and macro flashlighting will make their day even better

Toxicity breeds more toxicity and then you cry when killers start being horrible..

You misunderstand gens were done but tunneling one person as huntress does nothing for you. SECONDLY I wasn't even on death hook there were two others who were that she could've tunnled but since I cleansed her totem she wanted me. Moving forward though she has hatchets she could've easily hit a hatchet on the one that saved me and hit another for a down then hit me with one and if BT activated with another hatchet. She wouldn't have even had to try tunneling if she didn't try guarding a niche hex while only having 1 or 2 gens left. Like Lullaby did NOTHING for her even with her having 4/5 stacks and she wanted to guard it with one gen??? Why clearly the perk didn't help so why guard it if anything i'm wasting precious time cleansing it anyway just want to get rid of it since i know its there. Appreciate the macro flashlighting part because I totally clicked at her. You're right though toxicity does breed more toxicity but if anyone really cared survivors wouldn't teabag and killers wouldn't camp or tunnel. None of which is toxic but its unpleasant to deal with so people call it toxic.

Not proud.. yet you exclaim it in the title... uh ok. Not even sure what the point of this thread is except for you to get some stroking... sorry my hand hurts - not today.

Well the teabag wasn't really the point but the focus became the perks being a crutch for the one or two people and you say I'm proud for teabagging. I'm really like the audacity. You're mad I did something you didn't like but you did something that a survivor player wouldn't like. Sounds like you have no reason to be mad to me is what I expected convo to be and maybe some saying that I got carried by perks because that's usually what people especially those that mostly play killer latch to. Forgot to mention she had exhaustion hatchets so she had an answer to my perk from the beginning if we REALLY wanna talk about perks and whatnot. Also I like your joke yous a funny person.

I dunno, but the OP was awfully proud they did it...just saying.

Also as a huntress main she def could've gotten me and the BT user but she can't aim nor think past being mad about a hex getting cleansed.

I dunno, but the OP was awfully proud they did it...just saying.

Not proud of the teabag I hardly ever teabag killers because I know how it feels when you might just be trying to play for fun and enjoy yourself but with how hard she tried to tunnel me just because I went for it. The other people were on death hooks and she had two others she could've chased and caught. But my thing is how you gonna get mad I did something you didn't like in response to you doing something I didn't like?? You don't want me to cleanse your hex then don't bring one?? Its part of the game for me to cleanse it because it gives my team and I a disadvantage so why wouldn't I cleanse it??

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

I mean, congratulations? Glad it only took 2 second chances. If they tunneled harder, it might have required DS too. Lucky that didn't happen.

tried to tunnel you out last minute and not all match? then I don't understand why you're showboating if that is the case and you had two crutches.

not really an accomplishment, then you come to the forums to clearly try and stir up some heated exchanges clearly. that's pretty laughable lol

One of the crutches isn't even mine and it wasn't to stir anything 😂. Also since when have perks that help survival count as crutches? Nobody calls Ruin or other gen slowing perks a crutch. Nobody even calls the perks that help kill faster crutches. There are no real crutches in this game at this point everything that does do something to help only has a chance to help. She could've easily instead of trying to tunnel me as she did waited it out and prob got me or just hit the person unhooking or even grabbed them but like a fool decided to wait behind me and go for the hit after I've been unhooked so losing the one kill she could've gotten was her own fault for not playing smarter and instead being petty about losing a perk that didn't help her to begin with.

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

I mean, congratulations? Glad it only took 2 second chances. If they tunneled harder, it might have required DS too. Lucky that didn't happen.

It might've but I don't really rely on it to avoid being tunneled just rely on looping as effectively as I can. Though she didn't try tunneling until gates were ready to be opened and I was on first hook I think. Might've been second but either way love to see it

I try not to become too reliant on her, but yeah, she is really satisfying. I fear the day I too become jaded as a killer and just decide to one trick Huntress. She plays better than some of the killers I actually have experience with running full meta with just her one perk.

IKR!! I've just given in to her. She's fun and rewarding and lets you ignore looping bs. I just started using iron maiden on her for the reload and I feel like I've been missing out.

  • I would just because some games people get so lucky they don't even know..Also to try and appease the salt within.

  • As much as people hate it one of the comments above mentioned tunneling mid game. Getting rid of one person before all gens are done can greatly turn the game in your favor and go from a 0-1k game to a 2-4k. Nobody really likes being tunneled or camped but as killer sometimes it is the only option to secure at least the opportunity to win especially on certain maps. Don't rely on it all the time but if you have to proximity camp someone on hook so you know where people are and to prevent a save at 2 or 3 gens go for it and you should do better after that

  • Not sure what killer you play, but try playing a ranged killer or just play spirit. I personally play Huntress most because she can get around a lot of the bs frustrations that come with playing killer just as the other ranged ones do so try one of them out. You'll probably enjoy killer more

  • I like playing killer and survivor. I enjoy competitive or games that people play as if they're competitive because I enjoy the feeling of out skilling or just being smarter than someone in a moment at least. Survivors only really win with knowledge and outsmarting their killer. Though the same for killer you win with killer with strategical aggression or just paying close attention to survivor actions and testing them to see what they'll do in moments while taking advantage of their mistakes and your perks.

Both are fun though survivor is a bit more fun and relaxing. Killer for me is only fun when playing certain killers. Huntress ( My Main), Blight, T1 Myers on indoor maps, Nemesis on indoor maps, Deathslinger and maybe a few others that aren't just m1 killers. M1 killers are terrible feeling because looping is still insane despite all the survivor nerfs that have come down to balance it out more. Though this will only be the case mostly against survivors that know the game and maps.

  • People say rank doesn't matter all the time but every green or less killer I've played against shows they have a clear lack of understanding or skill or both. Sure just because you're a red ranked player doesn't mean you're a god at the game or a pro but to say rank doesn't matter is just foolish because it does mean a lot. If you never hit red ranks you lack something basic in your gameplay somewhere. Getting matched with people outside of your rank is never a fair thing for someone. I'm always red ranked and while I don't escape every game or 4k every game I still understand the game and if you match me with a rank 14 survivor I'm going to destroy said survivor player if I'm killer and as a survivor they probably won't do things properly to get us or themselves out or perform at the standard I and the other red rank players would be use to. We all have to also remember red ranks on console and PC meant very different things before crossplay AND it probably still does. On ps4 I could play red rank Legion with Third seal and 4k almost every game guaranteed because people would just die on first hook. On pc that was never the case and I got told how bad of a perk it was and that it'd never work and I wasn't even purple ranked yet. Ranks matter but people say it doesn't matter to avoid giving some people that ego trip and prevent others for feeling bad about not being red ranked. If MMR can actually give us fair games where we are matched with people that don't seem like they've never played the game then sure I'll agree ranks don't matter but I highly doubt its going to happen. I think this game is better off giving games based on rank and mmr or just rank instead of just MMR. I certainly don't like the rank hiding but at this point if you've played the game enough you can usually guess someone's rank especially the killers.

  • It becomes more fun once you've unlocked perks that help with your playstyle or with what you like doing or lack skill in. If you're not good at chases or just want an edge in them bring perks like dead hard and spine chill. Dead hard will let you dodge one hit or just get needed distance for safety. Spine chill will let you know when the killer is looking your way coming to you and let you vault windows faster. Which for me the window vaulting feels like a must have now because window hits are too real and wack most times. If you wanna crank that even further bring resilience to take the vault speed to a +15% vault speed. Good bye lunged window hits.

  • I've given up on it. Sony is a #########

Things like this is why I dont care what people have to say anymore. I literally had a game on red forest. Got a hook. And went the whole way across the map. He was left on the hook for probably 50 seconds. So I teleported back just to secure stage 2 or get a easy exchange. And was called a face camper because of it. You can't make everyone happy.

Hell I even let people come in my stream and ######### talk me all they want. It's once they start getting excessive I ban them. I was told yesterday "new add on suggestion. Rope and stool" Like imagine being that mad at a video game 🤣

I'm getting to that point. I generally try avoid doing anything that I know would make me mad or make me not wanna play when I play killer but some people just really ask for it.

Yet it’s the killer’s fault that they died so quickly. How dare you not follow rule #672: survivors are allowed to bodyblock with BT and if you wait out the 12 seconds, you’re a toxic and skill-less killer.

🤣🤣 Oh no not the rule book!

  • Wraith. He's the most basic killer to me. Go invis, chase, uncloak, hit, repeat. Glad they nerfed the speed increase on uncloak though

  • Making hits survivor side would prove or fix nothing. It'd just reverse the old problem of hits being bs from survivor perspective and unfair. It'd just reverse that onto killers and with the new pallet detection killer already does experience that now. Hearing the sound of a hit but survivor not being hit.

  • Playing killer is almost never satisfying. You get new or not good survivors and the game is easy and they may dc. If not you get the good survivors that make playing killer even more not fun to play. Even if you win it's stressful and not very if at all fun. I've gotten multiple games today and last night where they ######### on me the whole game until the last one or two gens I'll get 3 of them and maybe find the fourth one but if not they get hatch. Its not really to say I should be guaranteed that 4k either, but winning doesn't always make the game fun. Way too much effort and thinking goes into playing killer than it does with survivor.

The thing is, not everyone is using iron will. So spirit is basically gonna be the same for these people. We shouldn’t have to equip iron will to stand a chance against her. She needs changes!!

Well I agree to some degree that you shouldn't have to bring a specific perk for any killer power specifically, but I don't mind it being Iron will since it gives benefit against everyone. Though for those who don't use it she'll still be a problem though I have no ideas for how she could be changed. I felt she was okay, but the stridor thing is what ruined that for me but now that I don't have that problem now I assume speed nerfs would be good for her if anything was to be changed, or make it obvious she's using her power.

  • To be fair you shouldn't be camping pallets anyway. Pallet camping is probably the reason they get nerfed in the first place however many years ago to not be instant stuns when you slam them.
