They mentioned before that some aspects of certain killers or perks were in fact from the community. While whole fan made chapters might not be a thing (check mine out if ya want for DC's Scarecrow), it's great to see the dedication the community wants to put into this game.
-
Usually when I play killer, green rank killer btw (ps4 as well), I get paired with purple and red ranks that are way out of my range. Now that the virus has become a think, I have actually been getting people closer to my rank.
-
I love this concept, I don't really think perks need to be changed at all tho. The new Ruin is still pretty good on some killers. In terms of fixing gen rushing for all killers this is a new idea from "just make gens take longer" or "make a secondary objective" and I think it would work out pretty well. I'm a Survivor main on PS4 and even I think gens are way too fast.

only Yui cares about her hygiene or what ??
Look ! She wears a mask and keeps herself at a reasonable distance to not potentially infect her friend !
Nea wears a mask too

When they say wiggle out of the chain, they really mean hold away from the Deathslinger for dear life and try to find an obstacle or another Survivor and pray he doesn't have either charge or reeling speed add-ons.
-
That'd be funny, situational, but funny.

They're going to nerf it down the road, since it's a go to perk now.
Same is going to happen to Corrupt too, then Thrilling, then GearHead again...
-
I just down them and hook them, just because you're AFK doesn't mean I'm not getting my BBQ Stack.

Are you sure they're wallhacking? There are a LOT of Aura Reading perks
Don't forget add-ons.
-
I know that feeling, I played about 6 matches the other day, 1 was Dead Dawg Saloon (offering), 1 was Rancid Abattoir (Coldwind) and all the rest were Fractured Cowshed (Another Coldwind).
-
In terms of hooks, what map was it and did the Killer have an offering to put the hooks closer together, one of the oaks? Camping is just something you have to deal with as a Survivor, no matter how unfun it is to play against, just do the gens and punish the Killer for camping. The Devs mentioned that camping and tunneling are legit strategies so I doubt they'll do anything about it any time soon.
-
This is a bit situational, not a bad question at all. I'd say if the gen is close to being done, work together to finish the gen and then heal afterwards. Self Care + Botany Knowledge probably will get the job done faster otherwise.
-
I didn't either, we'll just have to wait and see.
-
I just eat it, same as you I try not to tunnel them off the hook immediately but it happens.
-
I don´t find flashlights that much of an issue, sometimes I´ll see 3 survivors bringing flashlights and none of them use it, idk why. Even if I get blinded I´ll usually just either catch up to the person I was trying to hook or just go for the guy with the flashlight.
-
I would love for every killer to have more than one mori animation, it´d be a really cool feature, especially for us that are getting tired of seeing the same mori over and over again.
-
If it´s becoming a big issue for ya lately, run Discordance, eventually suvivors might catch on to ya using it and probably won´t want to work together.
-
Latency issue, it sucks ik, but we Ghostface players that go for grabs gotta deal with it.
-
5th perk slot would be a bit too crazy, the devs have already mentioned something against adding a 5th perk. Losing the ability to do gens is also a bit too wild because you´re taking away one survivors main objective, leaving the game un fun for the person unlucky enough to have become the obsession. While I do agree to an extent that gens are going a bit too fast, completely making the objective undoable for one survivor doesn´t seem like the most fun or good option in this scenerio despite the buffs you´re giving them.
-
If any map I want reworked, it's Disturbed Ward, I hope they get to that one soon.
They did confirm that they were going to rework some of the weaker or older perks, don't know if those changes will be done by the time the new chapter is released.
Billy's and Bubba's need a bit of tweaking, especially Bubba.
They are actually doing this with the Plague by giving her one Pool of Devotion already corrupted without having to bring in one of the apples so she can actually use her power.
I honestly have no issue with struggle spam, unless it kills me anyways even though I'm struggling.

Plus BBQ let's you see where others may be, in the event that the TT gen finishes before you can even react.
And if you have TT they're less likely to assume BBQ.
Also true
-
I run both on Ghostface personally. I understand I get basically the same thing out of both of them, but I´m not turning down extra bloodpoints from BBQ.
-
Ghostface still makes sounds, even in stealth. Footsteps aren't that audible, but the folds on his outfit are very noticeable if you have a good ear. That usually means he's pretty close so I don't know how helpful this post is.
-
Disturbed Ward, too open, too few pallets, and every gen is a 3 or 4 man.
-
I honestly greatly dislike those maps as survivor. I don't have a good reason, I just don't. So I tend to never want to go there in the first place, let alone use an offering for them.
-
I would much rather deal with noob survivors than red ranks when I'm at green ranks, which has happened to me quite often recently.
-
When I get Disturbed Ward or Rotten Fields.
-
I feel like the new Hex: Ruin would still work on Freddy since he can chase survivors of gens by teleporting to them and faking the teleport.
-
Definitly a bug.
-
According to the DEVs stream this is more of a latency issue, which is the communication between your console and the server if you´re actually revealing him or not. Revealing him can also be a bit buggy though.
-
I agree, gens sometimes fly really quickly. This is why I bring gen-protecting perks, sometimes that doesn´t help too much though. I find the Corrupt Interention and POP combo from Otz works really well, I also throw in Thrilling Tremors and BBQ for tracking and bloodpoints. Ghostface main btw.
-
The only time I´ve ever used No Mither was during the last tome, I used it to get the This Is Not Happening skill checks. Took two games to get it done since I died the first game and escaped the second against a Ghostface. So in my case, once. X3
-
In my experience, Demogorgon. Barely get them when I play the game.
-
How am I getting hit even though the killer is nowhere near me?
EX: I play on PS4 had a match yesterday on Springwood against a Billy. We were at the fence area infront of the preschool, I was vaulting the window at it and he was on the other side at the edge of the long part of the fence (since I went past there and went to vault the window to gain more distance). Then he precedes to swing randomly in the air as I was vaulting and the game says it hit me even though he was nowhere near me at all. I do not have video proof sadly but situations like this have been recorded by other players.
-
I'd rather remove perks that are basically never used in normal gameplay. For killer, definitely monstrous shrine, survivor I really have no idea.
-
Gameplay wise I'd say Ghostface. There's always something fun about surprising survivors, especially pulling them off gens.
Design wise, Plague, I don't even need to explain why.
-
Dumb teammates, especially ones that either are not alturistic or refuse to touch a gen whenever a killer is just nearby and not at all heading our direction (I would know, I usually run Spine Chill).
-
I'd recommend Corrupt Intervention, seeing as Trapper is such a territorial killer and also removes 3 gens for the beginning of the match. Whispers is good for the reason mentioned, and so you know if a survivor is watching you place a trap or not. Bloodwarden I'm not too sure about, since if you get everybody quickly with NOED you won't have to worry about using it. Bloodwarden would be a good back up tho incase NOED gets cleansed or doesn't activate.
-
Decisive is hardly used in low ranks unless a survivor actually plays Laurie, even then you have practice. Overcharge is definitly something I wish was something different, it's a really hard thing to hit. Unnerving Presence isn't too bad if you're decent at skill checks. Over all tho Overcharge and Unnerving Presence I don't see used much at all.
-
I've never actually played a game as the Clown, but I think he's somewhat mid-tier. He can be really strong if you're able to use his bottles to block off loops effectively, and he has one of the best iridiscent add-ons in the game that rewards you if you can play him well and get a direct hit on survivors. His perks are definetly worth leveling up as well, except for maybe Coulrophobia, but PGTW and Bamboozle can really help you in a game, especially if survivors use the window at the Killer's Shack. It's really up to you if you want to buy him with auric cells or iridiscent shards, but I would recommend trying him out at least in a few games if you feel like you'd like him.
-
Survivor: My alturism isn't the best (unless I have a challenge or ritual for it).
Killer: Sometimes I swing too early and I sometimes lose survivors way too easily.
-
Played Blood Echo and Mindbreaker on a Plague once during a custom game with my friends and it was unbelievable how many hits I got since they didn't have access to their exhaustion perks.
-
I think the only thing that would really change with Doctor are his add-ons, mostly because they don't meet the add-on recquirement. Doctor is definitly a fun killer to play as and against in most cases.
-
Breakout and Boil Over do stack tho, tested it myself and it looked like they stacked.
-
Honestly, the new killers actually look good in prestiges. In my opinion the older killers, with the exception of their weapons, look really weird when you finally prestige them. The blood splatters honestly just looks weird on them, but that's just my opinion.
-
I was playing the Plague on Ormond. I had 3 kills and Endgame Collapse had started since I closed the hatch, by the time I got to one of the exit gates the survivor opened it as soon as I got there, and ran in. They however started teabagging halfway-in so I was able to down and hook them with NOED. Pretty fun match.
-
It all comes down to preference. Cursed Legacy comes with 1 Survivor and 1 Killer, the Killer's perks aren't entireably bad but honestly I would replace them with something else in a public match (except Nemesis lol). The new Survivor has great perks, the only issue is they're quite situational and one of them can only be used once. Stranger Things chapter gave us 2 Survivors instead of 1 and the 1 new Killer. The Demogorgon's perks imo are not very good unless you're playing a stealth killer. The 2 new survivors perks are alright, not as situational as the Yui from Cursed Legacy but still not the greatest. Both the survivors and killers that come from that chapter are great nonetheless. Just comes down mostly to preference or playstyle.

Of course it's a joke XD
X3
-
I'm hoping this post was a joke at least. Certain perks in the game are supposed to counter others, sometimes even killers entirely.
-
Usually these kind of people im able to get back at in the end. I've had a few games where I was able to kill toxic survivors, most of the time without camping or tunneling.
