I really like green.
It's related to something I hold very dear to me.

They gave him depression and made his head bigger.

His power seems pretty boring to me.

With how the game performs right now, I can't even realistically play like 75% of the DLC killers anyway.
Most of them suffer from such frequent stuttering and frame-dropping that they're an abject misery to use.
I know how you feel.
Twins are next to unplayable for me. Every time I charge a pounce as Victor my game lags.

It says "Spirit has only rags covering her breasts and vagina, most of her breasts including one nipple is exposed through the thin rags."

Never knew you could see Spirit's nipples.
-
I like most of them, but David's is a flop for me and Nea and Feng are okay-ish.

No, I'm with you on this one, my friend.

I don't really like it.

Even if it does, I'll just make a new one with all the videos linked.
Thank you for forcing the devs to acknowledge this issue.

Ehhh, I don't really like it.

He needs more buffs than that, but it's definitely a start.

Yay, let's nerf Trapper I guess.

Not quite sure if no one talks about it, but I really love The Babadook (2014).

In terms of physicality, I'm probably the closest to Dwight. I wear glasses, and have a similar body type and hairstyle. The only major difference is my hair is more so brown than black.
Personality wise, I guess I'm close to Felix? Determined and driven when it comes to things I like, but also very introverted.

At this rate, we're definitely gonna pass that other thread that got closed for being the biggest thread on the forums.
Unless of course it get's closed due to "violating the forum rules".

I actually don't really play many games, but I really like Skyrim, Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 8, and Friday Night Funkin'.

I imagine Ash, Bill, and Tapp getting along.

what should i do to leave red ranks?
Well, if you're dying 9/10 games like you say, I'm surprised you haven't already de-piped out of red ranks.

I fall victim to 9 out of 10 or 10 out of 10 matches. Red rank killers are invincible.
If you're truly dying that much, have you considered the prospect that you might not belong in red ranks and need to improve at the game?

yes, i'd rather wait 5 minutes and get my rank 1 back in the next instead of playing a BS match
But how did you know the match was bs?
Getting hit with an un-fair Head On hitbox doesn't decide the outcome of the rest of the match.
-
I mean, I get that was bs, but did you really have to d/c at four gens?

She looks a lot better in my opinion.

I kinda agree. I had a ton of fun playing the PTB and its the first PTB I spent more than a day playing (5 days) but I think its a Freddy situation where I'm not enjoying him because of his power, but because I'm Nemesis. If that makes sense.
Funnily enough this is the most excited I've been for a chapter since maybe they announced the Nightmare chapter.
No, I get you. Pretty much the only enjoyment I get out of playing Freddy nowadays is that I'm playing as Freddy Krueger the horror icon, not because of his actual power.
I'm predicting I'll feel the same about Nemesis.

While I haven't played RE8, or even seen much footage of it for that matter (pretty much just Rowby and Otz playing it on Village of Shadows difficulty), I pretty much immediately fell in love with anything involving Heisenberg, especially the design of the level that leads up to him.
His whole vibe is amazing. He's like Bertrum Piedmont if he were more realistic and was designed with medical horror in mind.
Yeah, I really adore RE8 and it's characters. I really wish all of the lords got more screen time. Especially Donna and Angie, as they were my second favorite lord behind Heisenberg and their section was the shortest.
Speaking of, I really liked Heisenberg's overall character as well, and his section of the game was the funnest to play in my opinion.

I don't think this would work as a great power, it sounds like loads of steps that wouldn't end up in a good killer, and having a passive like that would be broken. Then giving him both Billy and bubbas power but better at 2 gens remaining would just be ridiculous. The whole idea feels like an idea someone would make for an joke. Oh yeah and then he has multiple instadown moves just for free half way through the game!
Sorry, but I'm gonna have to disagree.
I don't think my version of Jack is "broken" in any way.
10% extra breaking speed isn't going to make much of an impact. The only way I can see it being a threat is if you run Brutal Strength, but at least that perk would finally be at least somewhat decent on like one killer.
The Hunted status effect can be easily negated by having the survivor who's afflicted with it just not do anything and get chased. (Just like how people countered Twins on release by keeping Victor.)
I purposely designed Jack's Doomsaw to be worse than Billy's and Bubba's not better like you said. He's supposed to be a blend of the two, but also have his own flare thanks to the fact his basic attacks insta-down, but he's slower and has a much longer wind-up on his basic attacks.
Oh, and by the way, you're criticizing the older version of my concept, not my final product.

Mindgame as well, many loops and pallets are unsafe once survivors make wrong move of going backwards. Learn to bait actions like that and maybe Dead Hard wouldn't be such a problem to you.
Even if the a window or a pallet are safer than usual, you'd still need to break or vault it at some point, you just want to avoid something that you can't by design. Learn to adapt!
I'm sorry, but what is this argument?
You can't mindgame Dead Hard at all. That's why people hate it. Pull a moonwalk and catch the survivor out? Nope, they Dead Hard to the pallet/vault anyway.
"You still have to break or vault at some point", again, what is this argument? This doesn't counter Dead Hard at all.
Now, I don't think Dead Hard should be nerfed, as I personally believe that just because something is unfun for one side, that doesn't mean it should be nerfed.
However, now matter how you twist or bend it, Dead Harding for distance has no counterplay.

Come closer or move around the object of they make it to the window. I'm pretty sure if they ran in a straight line towards it, they'd still make it, Dead Hard just help a bit since many players move too left and too right as a mistake.
What?
Are you trying to say the counter to Dead Hard is to walk around the pallet/window they're guarantied to make? Because if so, how is that in anyway, shape, or form a counter?
-
Ah yes, let's buff one of the best survivor perks in the game.
Please, tell me how to "bait out" a Dead Hard for distance?
-
I know they're not gonna be their own characters, but I still hope to see them in the game as skins.
Jack Baker: Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
Karl Heisenberg: Resident Evil 8: Village
Ethan Winters: Resident Evil 7/8

I mean, we got Sluzzy.

My dumbest injury was probably when I decided to race my friend (who's on our schools track team) in a parking lot.
Very surprisingly, I actually won, but it came at the cost of me having to come to a sudden halt because of a fence, which in turn caused me to fall and scrape my hands and knees.
What made it even worse was, on our way back home, I randomly threw up for no reason.
-
It should be base-kit.

It would be best if I take inspiration from it. I have no experience with handling with licenses. Plus... I feel it wouldn't be right to use someone else's work to benefit my own. Now I definitely am inspired by their work but I would never directly take their works and put it into my game. I will be inspired by it, change some of the instruments and sound effects to give it that country charm, but also create a gut wrenching tension.
I also want to say to Beelzeboop, I appreciate you sharing the video before hand, it definitely was creepy as hell. I would've used it but I fear it would trigger an audience, and that's just the trailer. Now I will say though it would be definitely would be something that is in-game, what I plan to do is have moments where players do get a reaction out of it. But not to the point they want to stop playing.
When I do release a trailer I am not sure if I'll release another after it, I want to keep it a full mystery from what to expect in the game, and showing scenes of people dying and such, wouldn't increase the fear factor which isn't what I want from the trailer. Because once they play the game they are slightly desensitized by it now that you showed them that many trailers. So thank you, so much, I really do appreciate it Beelze I really do
Yeah, I feel that composing your own music would probably be the wiser choice. It would feel much more personal and you'd have more creative freedom.
-
Not really.
My friends don't really throw games at all, but sometimes they make some silly mistakes that lose us the game.
When that happens, I just shrug it off. So? We lost one game. It's not the end of the world.

Okay I made my decision. The Evil ghost, I like it a lot. I like the beginning, it was starting to trail off a bit for the horror I was looking for. Overall I gotta go with The Evil ghost
Alright then.
Do you plan on asking the creator of the piece if you could use it? Or do you simply want to take inspiration from it?

Yeah.

I have Ash, Quentin, Ghostface, Myers, Legion, Bubba, Freddy, Deathslinger, and Blight P3.
Ash and Legion are the only ones I have every perk on, as Ash is my main survivor, and Legion used to be my main killer.

Melancholia: I've heard it before, but it's still neat. The low grade unnervingness of the piece is enjoyable, but it doesn't have much beyond that, at least to me.
Mind: Honestly, I love it. It gives off that 2017 creepypasta vibe that fills me with low level nostalgia, and it feels... raw. Pained and depressed, and a little bit afraid. This just feels so... familiar in so many ways. It's like a liminal image in music form: disturbing and mildly confusing, but not very useful for anything beyond just observation or examination.
Witch Hunt: YES! Maybe it has something to do with listening to the Quake soundtrack over and over again, but horror-industrial is one of my favorite niche genres. With the grinding tones, rampant drops and build ups, it feels like it would fit a trailer so well. The animator/director would have a lot of room to try new ideas to present the core concepts of Pinebrook, although the "town" part of it could easily be lost if they aren't careful.
The Evil Ghost: Oh, wow. This one is even better. You can actually imagine a trailer set to this fairly easily. Or, at least, I can. I would intermittently cut between this, and then to soft country music of some description during the slower parts to fit Pinebrook better.
Everything Ends Here: I can't really see it in it's current state. If the build up was a bit faster at the start or if it had more calm parts, it would be great though.
Thanks for sharing this stuff with us. I personally would never have found most of these on my own.
I had never listened to any of these songs before, and I found them because I did some searching because I wanted to help Dab find a theme or inspiration for Pinebrook's music.
Melancholia I thought was pretty eerie, but aside from that, a bit generic.
Mind was fantastic in my opinion. I really liked it. It has a very somber, sad, dreadful vibe. It sounds both familiar and distant at the same time.
I really liked both Which Hunt and The Evil Ghost. Just like you said, I also really like industrial horror, hell that's probably why I love The Final Movement (Karl Heisenberg's theme) from RE8 so much.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeUPS-2mmLII actually liked Everything Ends Here. Reflecting on it, it might not be the best theme for Pinebrook, but I still found it enjoyable. As it's title suggests, it feels very climatic.
