The scariest thing in this game is a Killer player that is unpredictable.
...other than SWF deathsquads of course

Idk they should be faster tho.
What rank do you play at and how many hours do you have so far?
Survivors move at 100% speed (or 4.0 m/s) most Killers move at 115% movement speed (4.6 m/s). Some Killers, like Deathslinger, Huntress, Spirit, Hag and Trickster move at 110% movement speed (4.4 m/s) and Nurse moves at 96% movement speed (3.85 m/s).
For a standard 115% Killer, with a 32m TR, it will take approximately 53 seconds for the Killer to catch up if you move in a straight line and run the instant you hear a heartbeat. For 110% Killers, at the same distance, it will take 80 seconds.

Desesperate measures exists btw. So if 3 people are injured the unhooked person can take the hit.
They can't heal that fast.

Check out my first post in this thread.
Although if you have a better one shout it out the goal is to try and help the guy out.
Unless you also think telling him it's already against the rules is good enough then don't bother we've already got one useless guy here
Take a video, submit a report.
It is against the rules and you can get people banned for it @vervain3

Since BEhavior has no idea whether or not private messages were sent or what is premeditated, they go simply by what they see in the video that gets turned in. If you are working with the Killer, they take an extremely dim view of it. :) But I'm all for hearing from the Mods on this.
They definitely know on PC, you're right about Console though.
Hey @Gay Myers (Luzi) is farming with the Killer bannable, since it's Survivors working with the Killer?

Oh so the solution to his problem was to simply not have other players do it...oh man I feel so silly I mean all that has to happen was for people to not break the rules.
Guess what vervain your problem has been solved. You will never run into the problem again because moindshroud has pointed out its against the rules...
In other news all murders have stopped as murder is against the law, and assault is a thing of the past too...
oh wait no that doesn't work I forgot because simply having something illegal does automatically stop people from doing it...I sure hope that doesn't happen here right moundshroud otherwise your solution of just pointing out itsnagainst the rules would have been a giant waste of time ...
What's your solution, oh mighty and wise one?

Technically, I think farming with the Killer is something they frown on (even if mutual for all parties), but that isn't really what we are talking about here. We are talking about one Survivor working with the Killer to take out the other Survivors.
I don't know if it is.
I think there have been enough instances of Fog Whisperers doing similar things that we can say it isn't.
I think its bannable if its premeditated. Like, the Survivor messages the Killer and says "I'll throw if you let me out."
We should probably ask a mod or a dev, see if they know.

People saying it's fine and I've been using it like all day on the PTB and I can feel how ridiculous it is.
I tried it also with spine chill and sprint burst so I could avoid that first hit as long as possible, and often doing that I would just never be hooked all game. If you wanted to like....sandbag teammates and never take any aggro, this is definitely the perk for you to do it with lol.
At least the Blendy's will be happy.

Working with the Killer for any reason is against the rules and an offense that can/will get you banned if it is recorded and properly reported. Your question to the OP is irrelevant and suspect, because it seems to infer you think there are justifiable reasons when this behavior is acceptable. It is not; it is cheating. You are not representing yourself well here.
So is farming bannable?

The only reason to play Trickster is because you like him, either as a character or as a design.
I've yet to meet anyone who plays Trickster for his nonexistent strength. The only person who I've seen say Trickster is OP is @Sluzzy and we all know how opinionated our beloved Sluzzy is.
-
The short answer is that you do not.
The long answer is to try to hit the unhooker as they go for the unhook, you have a better shot at downing them if you hit them before they unhook.
Other than that, good ######### luck.

Legion has a longer stun because their power has no counterplay. It's a guaranteed, relatively easy hit unless the Legion in question is very bad. Now, they could do with a shorter stun duration, but anything more than a second and you're essentially back to playing Old Legion.
Edit: Anything more than a second taken off of their current 4-second stun
Except on Console where activating their power drops your FPS, so it's easy to miss.

With that change you would create a easy 2 down scenario that could be easily exploited, for someone who claims they play solo q you're not taking into account that other survivors have no control over what their team does, I like the changes BHVR introduced I feel like they've hit the nail on the head and that's all that I personally think the perk needed.
The perk I proposed punishes the unhokking Survivor, while still proc'ing BT on tne unhooked Survivor.
That doesn't punish the person on hook for being farmed, but it does punish the unhooker for farming them.
-
I mean, it is annoying when people play ultra immersed and avoid chase at all costs.
I don't particularly enjoy spending 10 minutes looking for the last two Survivors on Yamoka Estate.

Am I the only one who really dislikes the new Crotus Penn? I feel like the old version did an excellent job of capturing a very dark, surreal, and otherwordly vibe that really appealed to me as a long-time horror fan. It felt like the survivors had just spawned into a nightmare. The new Crotus Penn is very bright and has more of a 'calm-after-the-storm' feel, like it's literally just a burnt up hospital that looks like it has it's place on planet Earth.
The same goes for the new Macmillan maps, that deep blue, otherworldly vibe they used to have to them seems to have been lost in translation, it's something that really captured my interested when I first started playing the game, and I feel it's hard to come by in a lot of mediums these days.
Now look at the new Coldwind Farm. It has what looks like a clear blue sky on a perfectly normal countryside farm . That surreal, nightmarish, otherworldly vibe once again seems to have been lost in translation.
The original 74 Texas Chainsaw Massacre takes place on a farm in Texas, why can't DBD?

Legion was always weak. He will always be weak with his current power.

I would disagree with that for one reason. There are endgame moments where I have to grab a survivor at the very last second as the killer looks away since the timer is down too far to wait. We both barely made it out before the collapse. It would discourage endgame plays by survivors who really want to save someone, specially when Blood Warden is always looming in the background. Otherwise, I would agree with you but I'm a bit of a stiffler who enjoys taking risky endgame plays to save teammates.
With my idea, you CAN save them and BT will proc for them, but you will become Exposed if the Killer has not been within the range for the amount of time required. So, if you really want to save someone, you can, but you can't just farm them and escape for free with BT.

I'm not too sure how you worked it out that I was insulting you? 🤔 I didn't specifically say "YOU'RE a killer fan boy" I literally said "seems to be a lot of killer fan boys"... honestly don't know where you worked out I was attacking you.. I'm sorry you feel that way, but in general I just meant the killer side of things... I also at the end said both sides should play how they want, and mentioned a list over last few weeks I've seen of what the killers don't like about the survivors and how they play... and I've also seen the same from the survivors. Unless I've misread my own message and some how called you a nasty name i don't see how my freedom of speech was wrong here... or does that no longer apply for anyone these days? ... I wasn't specifically calling you out as 1.
Also you're title doesn't really do the justice of attack either " you people are weird" .. I mean, have a word.
You responded to me. I'm pretty sure that means you intended it to be directed at me.
Your freedom of speech is intact, I am merely using my own to demonstrate how foolish your comment was.
-
-incentivize Twins players to camp with Victor because snowballing off injured survivors now just isn't happening even if the survivors make consistent positioning and gameplay errors while the Twins plays perfectly.
-hand-hold bad Survivors who go down to Victor while out of position or who don't bail their teammates out properly.
-punish Twins players who are good at their Killer and play them fairly.
Which one is it? What is the function of this nerf?
All of the above?

what exactly do you mean by time requirement?? and even if the killers back is "turned" they could still be camping. Unless if what you mean is they're far away from the hook.
"As soon as their back is turned." This is based off of a relatively common occurrence where the Killer will see someone on BBQ and turn to leave the hook (ie, the opposite of camping) and then a Survivor rushes in to unhook as soon as the Killer turns to leave.
That triggers BT unfairly, as the Killer was not camping and it puts said Killer into a lose-lose. Someone else in a different thread had an excellent idea.
If the Killer is within X distance, BT may be proc'd, but if the Killer has not remained in the area for X seconds, the unhooking Survivor becomes Exposed for X seconds.
This punishes people who make dumb unhooks, but doesn't punish their teammates for being farmed.

Why don't we just take all the survivors objectives away 🤷♀️ there seems to be alot if killer fan boys on here recently that don't like anything a survivor does on this game. Gonna get to a point more and more people are gonna play less. Let's face it nothing a survivor is allowed to do now is there?
1. Fixing gens is a problem and causes DC after 2 go off.
2. Not allowed to save their team.
3. Anytime a gen is fixed its gen rushed. Bare in mind it takes 80 seconds to fix one (and couldn't go any slower if that tried)
Oh no.. the list goes on but I'd be here all day. Just play how you wanna play and that works both sides.
I'm not sure what makes you label me a "killer fanboy." Most people here know that I play Solo Q Survivor and Killer in an even split.
Your post isn't constructive and exists solely to attack me, which I'm not sure why you are doing that.
You are making a fool out of yourself.

I LOVE IT 🥰
I can’t wait to run Lucky Break, Off The Record, Second Wind, for the easiest escapes from a hook ever.
Oh, I'll enjoy running it, but it definitely seems like a bit too much.
-
I definitely think that it's been overbuffed.
-
I just want to end no-win scenario's.
It should have a time requirement as well, no unhooking as soon as the Killers back is turned.
-
Harder? Yes.
Impossible like Blight? No.
Since his power is capped at 90 degrees turning, you can technically still use it to its full extent on Console. Activating and using his power drops FPS a lot tho, so be warned, it's easier to miss than you might think.

So killers will just remain outside of that range. Unless you are talking a pretty big range that could work, otherwise it's same ol' "proxy camping cuz I can".
BT has gotten buffs, because of the underlying issue with camping Killers. If you leave the hook you are literally never going to have to deal with it.
If you make it a standard 32m and then say, the Killer has to remain in those 32m for 15 seconds, that punishes camping.

Mm, instead of punishing the unhooked survivor by not proc'ing BT for them, what it should do is add a risk: if the survivor with BT goes for an unhook within # of seconds, then the unhooker is Exposed for 20 seconds (or something). Punish the one who deserves it for making the bad play.
Exposed and/or Exhausted and/or aura shown, whatever, just punish the unhooker for being a bad teammate.
Hmmmm, I'd be interested in testing that out.

How are you not getting a free hit if they’re unhooking in your face like you said?
I gave an example that happened to me. I turned to look at BBQ and started walking towards the aura I saw, then I get the notification that someone unhooked and I immediately turn back.
Considering my use of BBQ and the popularity of BT, this is a fairly common occurrence. At least 2-3 times per day for me.
-
Twins mains now know what it's like to use Legion's power.
Bad reward and you get to eat a longer stun than Nurse.

Should that be the fault of the unhooked though? Your saying you should be able to down the person through borrowed because someone made a dumb save. But the whole reason for this change is so that survivor gets a chance. They shouldn't be the one punished for this the hooker should be should they not? Which you can punish them by smacking then downing the unhooker when they finish the animation. Id argue i shouldn't be redowned because a teammate was a idiot. Because whos really getting punished especially if they get away scott free.
You should be re-downed because your teammate was an idiot.
If your teammate cleanses Haunted Grounds, it isn't just them who is Exposed, it's your whole team.
If your team makes a dumb play, you SHOULD be punished for it. It's a team game, one person can't win the game and the actions of others have consequences on you.
-
@Mugombo said:

Well you get a free hit at least which you wouldn’t have otherwise. Still saves you a ######### load of time you would have spent finding the next survivor and chasing them down.
I have nothing against your suggestion, I’m just saying it’s better now then it was. Only argument against is that when you’re hooked you can’t control what your team mates do, solo survivors could get farmed, but it happens anyway when the unhooker doesn’t have bt so I’d be fine with the change
You don't get a free hit tho? The unhooker doesn't just sit and wait for you to hit them, they run as soon as they finish saving the guy on hook.
This change is absolutely fine, if they put in that additional requirement.
-
Agree. It won't fix any of his other glaring issues, but it would be a very nice QoL change.

good. BT is an anti-tunnel perk, now it stops ALL killers form being able to tunnel off hook, exactly what it was ALWAYS meant to do.
Someone with BT unhooking a survivor was never meant to be a "win" situation for ANY killer, stealth or not.
And the argument is already won because the change is happening
It shouldn't, not completely unrestricted.
It should be restricted based on time, if I am turning to leave the hook because I saw someone on BBQ, I shouldn't be punished for camping when all I did was hook the Survivor. Surely, you can see the validity in that.
-
@Mugombo said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2101845#Comment_2101845
How is getting a free down on the unhooker a lose lose? They just saved you all that time you was gonna waste finding and catching a survivor.
How is it a free down?
You need to go through at LEAST two health states (and probably DH). That's an easy 45 seconds of time lost because of a perk and there is nothing you can do to counterplay it.
Are you telling me you are opposed to the change I presented. I'll list it again, "If the Killer is within X meters for X seconds, BT can be activated upon unhook."
There is no reason to oppose that change unless you are actively abusing BT to perform unsafe unhooks that would otherwise be punished.
-
@Mugombo said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2101779#Comment_2101779
You know that if someone is being unhooked in your face that there’s an unhooked you can? Or does your tunnel vision not allow you to see them?
It's the same time investment and a lose-lose.
They both have two health states because a Survivor unhooked in my face. That needs to change.
Also, stop insulting and attacking people, it hurts your argument :)

Awww you can’t camp any more with stealth killers? Booo hoo, get good
The only time I've seen BT proc in the past 3 months has been when Survivors rush hook as soon as I start to leave. That's not what BT is supposed to do.
As I said earlier, make it distance and time based. It still punishes campers but it can't be abused anymore.
-
Awful change, imo.
BT has been consistently buffed for the last few years. I legitimately only ever see it used to farm a Survivor as soon as my back is turned.
Make it time and distance based. If a Killer is within X meters of a hooked Survivor for X seconds, BT can activate.
-
Another BT buff without it being nerfed. Awesome, love that.
Idk how I feel about the Freddy changes. They kinda murdered his add-ons.
Demo changes are okay, but his big problems aren't solved. He needs a full rework if you want people to play him.
I have no idea why the Twins were nerfed.
We like the Iri Head change, do not like new Iri add-on.
