Comp is such a small percentage of the games, that there will be way more games where a survivor can use the new gaps to chain tiles, than there will be comp teams using the current car walls as an advantage.
Also, I play Blight, and it's so sad that every new map, and every new map update, just make him slowly worse and worse. He really didn't need this map to be a nerf for him too.
Buff for lower tier M1 Killers, nerf to Blight? Sounds fine to me.
-
I believe that's true.
If we increase gen times, Killers will either tunnel the same amount or tunnel more.
Most people tunnel because it's easy and effective. Some people know it's a good strategy, but most people don't care about that. They want to win and they know that this is the easiest and most efficient way to do that.

FNAF for the anniversary, plz. It's the undisputed most requested DBD chapter of all time (only F13 comes even remotely close), and the people who want it far out weigh those who don't, by leaps and bounds, to the point of being comical.
Those "children" who grew up with FNAF are adults now, and we see Springtrap as an icon of video game horror. Its laughable to think he doesn't have a place in the video game hall of fame that is Dead by Daylight. And thats not including the fact that FNAF's story is far from kid friendly. Its the stuff of nightmares
I have to be honest, I look at people who think FNAF is for children the same way I look at someone who just said "My wallet tastes good."
FNAF is literally (other than Jeepers Creepers) the most controversial license.
A lot of the community despises it and a lot are fanatical about wanting it, like yourself.
The game is marketed for kids. It generates enormous revenue from kids. It's a game for kids.
FNAF will go down in the same vein as the ######### jumpscare horror movies. An intriguing fad, but nothing of any real substance or innovation.
Also, you clearly haven't been around for long if you think FNAF is the most requested Chapter.

The only time killer wins is because survivors are bad, which is not satysfied at all, every time i win those matches im like a pro league of legends player placed in Bronze elo, it's not rewarding, and when i play vs sweaty swf i get bullied 8/10 matches because game favors survivors
So how do you explain Survivors only escaping 39% of the time at "high mmr"
Are they also bad?
How do you explain the comptitive scene? Why do Killers like Ghostface and Plague able to get 4K's? Surely you aren't saying comp players suck
-
The game is already pretty balanced right now.
There's outliers and room for improvement, but it's decently balanced for most players.
-
I'll do whatever I need to do to win, but I will never go out of my way to make people feel miserable for the purpose of making them feel bad.
So, basically, play hard as ######### in game; always be courteous and understanding once the game is over.

Again, BOLD OF YOU (and mostly arrogant) to assume my skills without even seeing one of my matches... If you think that's doable searching a survivor, chasing and down a survivor who play safe and throw pallets or that can links loops without troubles (all this paired with an awful map rng, dead hard and other bs stuff) in less than 90 seconds with a killer that isn't the blight or the nurse then I've a news for you: you are facing bad survivors. Period
I've literally played in beginner comp and Community Cups.
If it takes you a MINUTE and a half to down Survivors in pubs, that is entirely on you. Unless you're playing a set-up Killer.
-
I doubt it'll ever be fixed.
It's been possible to DDoS people on console for the games entire lifespan. I think you might as well get used to it, it's probably not going anywhere, unfortunately

In a scenario where survivors have everything at their disposal (from map offerings, to perks and items/addons) and know what they are doing? Probably, but that's not the point, the point is that you simply cannot play the game aganist people who play in a certain way unless you are using the 2 killers that i've mentioned and even then it will be impossible to get a result that will exceed the 2k (i had matches that despite i was using the nurse with her best addons and i didn't miss a single blink, the genspeed was FASTER than my chases, partially cause also for the 2nd chances perks and partially cause they were using broken items/addons)... i had matches aganist premades that despite the broken stuff that they had i had somewhat the time to do something (clearly i was FORCED to tunnel/camp from the beginning if i was using weak killers), but the matches that i did yesterday were SO FAST that i couldn't do literally nothing about it (predrop and chaining loops that cannot be mindgamed): a single down that require at least 90 seconds (the time to start the trial, walk through the map, find and chase a survivor, pick him up and hook him) and 3 gen already pop, start a new chase and in the meantime another gen is completed and another one is already half repaired, hook the 2nd survivor and all the gens are already repaired, add also the fact that now adrenaline is pretty much granted because gens will be ALL repaired most of the times and they can even rush while injured, they have dead hard that grant them another health state (in high mmr this perk CAN'T be baited, you like it or not this is the truth since people will use it near pallets, not to mention that dead hard script user are MORE common that you can think), and you'll get whay playing killer rn is MISERABLE
First off, the Killers in that hypothetical tournament are real. That tournament was real, it had no restrictions.
Guess what? The most meta Killers do fine against the most meta Survivors. They had a 2.16 Kill rate.
Likewise, if it takes you 90 seconds to get a down, that's unfortunately a skill issue. Everybody saying DH scripts are common is coping imo.
All your rant did was solidify that you need some solid coaching, but you could end up being a very good player. You certainly seem like you have the drive to do so.
It isn't super hard to keep a winrate of well over 80% in pubs.

I will ask the question again in a more clear way.
Did you ever see a team use Doctor instead of Nurse when Nurse was available and Nurse was the better pick for that map? The answer is no.
I have zero clue why you're so fixated on doctor.
It's weird and I'm just gonna let it go. There have been multiple examples given of Killers far weaker fhan Nurse used to win in a comp setting.

-"Then you should know that nurse and blight are not the only ones that can win tourneys/matches."
Show me the team winning tournament game in the finals where Team A won with Doctor and team B lost with Nurse. It doesn't exist. Most of the killers could be deleted next week and it would not really change the state of the game as long as their perks remained.
-"That just simply isn't what tourneys do."
And the reason I listed the rules in that way was to highlight the broken nature of DBD.
When I play Torment Creek the game is already lost when I play a non mobility killer if the team knows which three gen to break. This map is more unfair than most because the loops are strong - but there are many maps like this (Azarov's, Suffo pit, Haddonfield, Thompson House, Dead Dog, Father Campbell's chapel (since there is no longer a 3 gen in the carnival anymore), etc.
I love when people use "The Game" offering when I am playing Nemesis; but if I am playing Trapper that offering crashes my game (it's funny how those bugs happen).
Maps should not be an "I win" button. It should be a fun exciting choice because of nostalgia/scenery or something like that. You should not see survivors picking Ormond because it is an easy map to win. Likewise killers should not need to rely on "3 gen or gtfo tactics."
DBD will always be an unfair game if we have M1 killers that lose because maps larger than 9000m² exist. But small size does not automatically mean fair and Coal Tower is a perfect example of why not. That map has way too many linked tiles that allow a strong looper to loop for a long time without using any resources.
Look at Rancid Abattoir vs every other farm map. RA is small, has about 8 pallets (that are all very strong) and a "meh" main building that is usually not very helpful in chase. There are usually multiple places where the killer can control a three gen. Most of the tiles do not link well and require pallets to be used early. I would say this map is "fair" to killers with some anti loop but it can still break a killer like Pig. Even the cornfield in RA is small and not very good for hiding.
Why does small matter? First it matters because shift+w exists. If every killer had some kind of "wesker dash" to use to initiate chases (before a chase starts) it might be a different story. Second it matters because small maps organically create scenarios you start the chase against one person and interrupt another person on a generator mid chase. That just doesn't happen on large maps; if you need an explanation as to why you can look at the gas laws in physics for a very simple explanation.
I would love to see an experimental week where killers that have no movement power/teleport ability stopped being able to see maps larger than 9000m² (unless the killer used an offering to select such a map). Imagine if survivors picking a farm map vs most of the killers and it automatically sent them to Rancid Abattoir.
I'm pretty sure I saw Ghostface, Plague and Pinhead in the DBDLeague finals.

It is entirely human to be mad at someone else in time of crisis, but it wastes a bunch of time and getting mad at bHVR is not an outlet either. bHVR can only help if the leak happens through DBD. but as they investigated so far they have not found anything concrete. One thing I know tho is that blaming bHVR before they are proven guilty is a waste of our breath. People need to come together to find out how the leak works if its that.
- If you are getting DDoS'ed you need an IP change stat, check if your router can do it or ask your Service Provider.
- Once that is done, all we can do is sit, make sure everything is jotted down what happens see how long it takes to repeat.
I unfortunately have no clue myself how its done, but it can be done in a lot of ways. Review the best practises for internet security.

I know there was a way to leak your IP if you accepted a Steam Voice Call from someone, 8 years ago. idk if it was fixed.
If its via steam, I think checking if this option is set to on in steam settings. it. might be a shot. We will see.
I just find it suspicious that it would be a Steam vulnerability if it's ONLY affecting DBD.
I haven't heard anything about CSGO being hit by a swarm of DDoS attacks.
-
There's nothing to do and no way to see tangible effects of my gameplay improving.
Basically, no long-term goals and no way to see MMR or ranking.

Well, maybe some of those PC elitists will have more sympathy for console players now. Kidding, mostly.
You can get DDoS'd on Console at literally any point. It's not even a DBD issue.
It seems like it's a Steam issue. Are there any other reports of Steam games getting hit like this?

Me doing well doesn’t blind me to the fact that killer is at a huge disadvantage against good survivors, as it apparently does for you. There is no point in talking about viability if we aren’t talking about the highest level of play. Surprise, Trapper is viable if we’re talking about mediocre players.

To reach p100 means you have some nice playtime. Playtime leads to in-game experience and knowledge which ends up with in-game skill.
Quite in contrary, you should generally care for such players and lastly to say "nah, I know that guy with p100 who plays like having 1 hour in the game". When people use edge cases that's the issue man.
I spend the vast majority of my time playing Killer.
All of my BP goes onto Steve.

This was tested literally 5 or 6 years ago.
The game was actually extremely Survivor-sided then.
It should be tested again today. Maybe it results in the same, maybe it's a viable solution. Th game is so different now that I think it's worth testing it in a PTB, what harm could come from it?

I didn’t avoid anything: holding a 3 gen is a viable strategy that every killer in the game can do, especially with the right build. Defending gens isn’t holding the game hostage; it’s a tactic.
I’ve also never heard a lamer cop out argument that now she can receive a rework. At the rate the devs work, maybe that will happen in 3 years. As of right now, she is completely gutted and joins most other killers as being unviable against good survivors.
Holding a 3-gen for an hour is holding the game hostage. "It's a tactic" yeah a tactic to get banned.
Stats say every Killer is viable, even at "high" mmr. Pretty crazy how if you're good at the game, you can do well.

How is destroying a killer and making her unviable good design?
Means she won't hold games hostage, so that's already an improvement.
Also means she might get a rework that might actually salvage her.

Things that the game "needs":
- ingame voice chat (just like every single pvp game has out there)
- hardcore (or horror) game mode that brings the horror aspect back to this party game
- additional objectives for survivors (only holding m1 gets boring)
- events that turn the gameplay around
- killer coop (killers have friends too)
- something that links to the "did you have fun" button and rewards "nice" gameplay
- bots that take the place of disconnecting players (just like the mobile version)
- official tournaments. People take this game very serious, so why not go all in and have weekly/monthly tournaments?
I would drop another 5K hours on this game if they added a tournament mode.

There's a reason if certain perks/items/addons/maps are forbidden in those "tournaments"... The game isn't balanced around that level of bs... Which brings us the hilarious fact that "comp" dbd is more balanced (and probably even funnier) than pub matches for that reason alone...
So, you think that the most meta Killers would lose horribly to the most meta Survivors?
Or are you saying something different?

I expect that a majority of the killer cast would be completely unplayable. Let's say someone picked Doctor for example; people are likely to laugh because you even tried to bring doctor. And then when you get utterly stomped that game will serve as a reminder forever as to why nobody has ever brought doctor to an "everything goes" arena.
@zarr said:
Over the last weekend, www.twitch.tv/Wwispy1 held a tournament in which every character, perk, item, add-on and offering was allowed. This makes it special because usually in tournaments there are a various restrictions for these things in place.
I have taken stats on a plethora of tournaments in the past, and every time without fail average kills settled slightly above 2. My experience with and analysis of tournament DbD has contributed to my opinion that the game is actually reasonably well-balanced at the top end, and to my understanding of why the game is statistically killer-sided in public matchmaking. Since killers can evidently compete even against survivor teams composed of some of the very best, most practiced players in the world that are also using voice communications (and do so in very efficient ways) and have highly coordinated loadouts, strategies and tactics, it is easier to understand why in the public matchmaking environment where only around 5% of the player pool even are 4-player SWF groups (of which even less use voice chat, and of which in turn only a tiny fraction is as skilled as tournament players, let alone as practiced and experienced as a team), killers overperform. I think in a scenario of a killer player facing four random survivor players (no voice communication, no prior coordination of builds, strategies or tactics) each equally as skilled and experienced as the killer player, the game is actually favouring killers. I would expect the average result to fall around 2.5 kills. Of course, different killer characters and maps affect things, but we know from public stats that none of them favour survivors universally (even the statistically weakest killer on the statistically strongest survivor map still averages above 2 kills), and so I would assume that scales into the theoretical realm of 5 completely equally skilled and experienced players facing off similarly to how the killer-leaning universal balance scales into the competitive realm. That is to say, I would expect most killers on most maps to still fall within a range of 2-2.5 kills.
One counter-argument against previous tournament stats is that there are various loadout restrictions in place for both roles. I have never taken real issue with that given that the loadouts in these tournament matches are still entirely comparable to those you will see in an average public match (if anything they are much more optimized), and argued that the overwhelming skill, experience, practice and coordination disparity would already more than make up for loadout differences compared to public teams anyway (meaning even with 10 Decisive Strikes the average public group would still not be anywhere near as competitive as these tournament teams are with their 1 Decisive Strike that they are usually allowed to have), but still, those restrictions do make the tournaments somewhat of an artificially balanced realm.
In the tournament I'm talking about now, all those restrictions were removed. So not only do you have some of the most skilled, experienced, practiced players in the world communicating with voice chat and coordinating their builds and plays, but they also get to use the most busted stuff, such as 4 Styptics/Syringes, multiple Brand New Parts, 4 Dead Hards and Decisive Strikes. This is a level of play and coordination and of sheer stacked loadouts that you will never see in public matchmaking. ...And yet, as the following stats show, the killers were absolutely able to compete.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/D3QJSAMEUAP8/wispy-everything-allowed.png
So, we have an average of 2.16 kills, again as in all other tournaments a slightly killer-leaning result. We can see that 11 of the 30 matches ended in outright killer victories (3k, 4k), 13 in outright survivor victories (0k, 1k), and 6 in ties (2k). If we take into consideration that 3 times players decided to play non-S-tier killers (Pinhead, Huntress, Oni), we can say that outright victories are basically an exact split between both roles; in terms of kills, 40% of the time killers won, 40% survivors did, and 20% of the time they drew. That's a surprising level of balance given the ridiculous loadouts at play. It is also worth pointing out that killers overwhelmingly often lose less decisively than survivors, which is to say when the killer loses they usually at least still kill 1 survivor (of 13 losses, 12 (92%) were 1 kill losses), while survivors most of the time lose with 0 escapes rather than 1 (of 11 losses, only 3 (27%) saw 1 survivor escape).
Another argument people may have even if they accept the statistical fact that the game is balanced at the top end in terms of kills, is that it is not balanced in terms of hooks. I unfortunately did not count the actual amount of hooks while watching the matches, but I believe that hook stages can still be used to draw reasonable conclusions in that regard. So, if we assume the typical "the killer can just tunnel one survivor to death and then facecamp a second survivor in the endgame to achieve a "balanced" result of 2 kills" scenario that is often brought up to argue that an outcome of 2 kills does not necessarily mean the match was "balanced" in a "healthy" way, we would expect 6 stages to be the dominant result. Looking at the stats, we can see that of 30 matches, only 6 ended in 6 stages, or one fifth/20%. 22 matches ended with at least 7 stages, meaning 73% of matches were killer victories in terms of hook stages, and they were not achieved simply by tunnelling one and camping another survivor. This is also obvious by looking at the fact that none of the 6 2k matches ended in 6 stages, all of them had more. In fact, as you can see further at the bottom of the stat sheet, the perk No Way Out was used in 66% of the matches, and it obviously encourages spreading out your hooks on all survivors. On the flipside, only 2 matches ended with less than 6 stages, a mere ~7%. It is therefore obvious that in terms of hook stages (and in deduction hooks) the game leans even more toward killers.
Now it of course has to be noted that this goes for Nurse, Blight and Spirit, players didn't usually pick other killers for obvious reasons. Either way, at least those three can provably more than compete with even the absolute best that a survivor side can put up (which is way beyond what any public group ever will). This is something that surprised even myself. I always knew the game was much more balanced than many people make it out to be, and tournament results have always supported that, but I did still believe that given the ability to use the absolutely most stacked loadouts of multiple purple med-kits with Styptics, multiple BNP, 4 DS, etc., average kills would at the very least be slightly below 2 rather than still slightly above. Pretty crazy honestly.
In other tournaments even various of the other killers average out around 2 kills and 6-8 stages with 4-kill matches absolutely being possible, but tournaments do show that only roughly half of the killers are viable at the highest level, with only Nurse, Blight and Spirit viable enough to consistently be able to 4k, Twins being a close contender. It also has to be noted that the map pool in this tournament was limited, and although it included Wreckers' Yard, Dead Dawg Saloon, Rancid Abattoir and Gas Heaven which with few exceptions represent the state of balance of most maps in this game, I do think there are more survivor-favouring maps than killer-favouring maps overall. A variety of killers deserve buffs, a variety of maps should be further adjusted. But those buffs and adjustments are not strictly necessary from a public matchmaking perspective - not only can killer players simply choose to play S-tier killers every single time if they so desire, but good killer players win the majority of their pub matches even with the lowest-tier killers. Public matchmaking even with MMR is simply not able to provide good killer players with equal opponents sufficiently consistently. But likewise, the weakest killers could all be buffed, the problematic maps all adjusted, without it all too negatively impacting public matchmaking balance either.
The perks used here tell some clear stories too. There are only 19 different survivor and 15 different killer perks in the total pool. That shows how limited the pool of the strongest perks in this game is - 34 out of a total 185 perks seeing use. Not only that, but if we look at how often the individual perks are being used, it becomes clear that it's really only a handful for either role that dominate: Dead Hard and Decisive Strike alone already make for almost half of all survivor perks used, with Borrowed Time, Unbreakable, Deliverance and Prove Thyself making up another ~40%. So almost 90% of all perks used for survivors consist of only 6 different ones. For killers it's similar, with Corrupt Intervention, Deadlock, No Way Out, Lethal Pursuer, Ruin and NOED being 6 perks combining for 86% of all perks used.
I do think a ton of perks should be buffed to get them to a level where they are even approachingly able to compete for slots with perks the likes of those mentioned, but I don't think that the limitedness of perk usage at the absolute top level is necessarily all too problematic. In games there always are a fairly limited amount of S-tier characters and items, and it's no different in DbD. Ideally there would be more for a more varied top-level meta, but in public matchmaking you can already get pretty creative with your loadouts without giving up much. However, the perks do tell us a bit about the gameplay and parts of it could be seen as problematic: The prevalence of DS, BT, Unbreakable and Deliverance show that camping, tunnelling and slugging are the most effective killing strategies that survivors have to combat. Maybe the game could be better if it was reworked to concentrate more strictly on getting as many hooks as possible rather than revolve around these strategies at the top end. On the killer side, Corrupt and Pursuer highlight that the early game is crucial for killers, they have to get pressure up as soon as possible. It could help to introduce an "early game collapse" phase after all, such as simply by blocking all generators until the first chase has begun. No Way Out and NOED on the other hand highlight the fact that killers are at a disadvantage in the endgame - healthy survivors hit with a basic attack can regularly make it to a gate even over large distances, and killers regularly cannot defend gates unless they happen to spawn within close proximity of one another. I personally would not be opposed to the idea of having NOED be a basekit mechanic, without the movement speed boost, giving survivors a totem counter at base at the same time. To bring Nurse and Spirit in line with a NOED basekit reality, I think making Lethal Blink hits and Grudge hits not count as basic hits would be a welcome adjustment (it would be even without basekit NOED).
Some other notes: No Way Out's popularity shows that even the best killer players expect to get into an endgame scenario regularly in even matches. I think there has to be a change in mentality of players to not consider a game lost just because all generators have been completed. Given a desired goal of 2 kills and 2 escapes, a balanced match obviously has to see all generators get finished. Not only that, but since killers can almost always all but guarantee 1 kill in the endgame, a balanced match much of the time is expected to see all generators get finished with at least 3 survivors still alive at that point. Food for thought.
I was surprised that Circle Of Healing didn't see more play. It goes to show that other perks are more valuable if you just bring a med-kit. The standard build for most teams was: 4 DS, 4 DH, 2 BT, 2 Deliverance, 2 Unbreakable, 2 Prove Thyself, with everything else being "tech" variations, and Circle not even being a popular tech (only brought in for 3 matches of the 30).
The problematic add-ons are definitely still problematic: Nurse's range add-ons, Spirit's Mother-Daughter Ring, Blight's Alchemist Ring, Brand New Parts, Styptics, Syringes - these are all blatantly overtuned, and particularly the survivors' ability to bring 4 overtuned add-ons is ridiculous. I would even say it's precisely the ability to bring multiple that makes them a problem - if random survivors only bring 1-2 of these (which is already fairly rare), their impact potential is mostly alright. I think SWF groups should have perk and item limitations in place, such that they can only bring any perk or item/add-on at most 1 time. The killer add-ons should simply be rebalanced.
Moris are still the most balance-relevant offering in the game. Without map offerings, survivors in this tournament usually burned Petrified Oaks, and their impact on the matches was moderate at most. The Ebony Memento Moris that killers usually burned on the other hand consistently made much more of a difference. Bypassing any and all rescue mechanics (DS, bodyblock and sabo plays, pallet and flashlight saves) as well as saving time and holding positions particularly in the endgame turned out to be crucial at various points in these matches. That said, I still think moris are in a fairly good spot now.
Final note: The finals of the tournament are actually still to be played out. They will happen next weekend, so keep on eye out on the stream I linked.
Here's a link.
When both sides bring meta, the game is pretty balanced. This was when Survivors were in a much stronger state as well.

-"DBD-Tournaments have nothing to do with Public Games. Bringing them up is not really an argument."
When you look at high level play there are 2 viable killers across all maps that can handle SWF. That's relevant for public matches because unlike a tournament you can play multiple copies of perks/items/perks.
In other words : SWF might be fair if you were not allowed to repeat perks/charactes/items/offerings.
SWF breaks the game because overall the number of pallets/size of maps/strength of loops only works when you are bad at survivor. If you play meta Nurse/Blight you can overcome most teams/obstacles.
Another way to say this would be : if not playing Blight/Nurse then you should have the option to only play against solo players. Alternatively they could make the game fair for all killers.
So, if there was a tournament with no restrictions, what would you expect to happen?

They were just sad that their favorite game didn't make it into dbd. Obviously, like any community, there are dickheads who write bullshit, but as it exists on dbd it exists everywhere.
I want to ask you something though. In your opinion, is it right that a possible fantastic chapter, with a killer who can really have a unique power with many possibilities to be strong, be rejected by the dbd community just because some people are pissed at the community from which the chapter comes?
In my opinion not, and above all because this community is already very toxic, so going to say "I don't want FNAF because they "ruined" (which ruined is a big word) hellraiser" or "I don't want FNAF because their community is toxic/full of children (not to think that there aren't children playing on dbd eh)" it doesn't make sense.
It got bad enough that the subreddit for DBD literally BANNED any mention of FNAF.
Their fandom is somehow more toxic than DBD. It seems to be made up of children and adults who act like children, for the most part.
Ultimately, FNAF won't work in DBD. It was an almost unique horror game in 2014, but it really only has some cheap jumpscares going for it. There's very little substance to the game and it simply won't translate well.
So yes, I'm all for denying that toxic community a way in.

I mean tbf tunneling one person out at 5-gens is an efficient strategy. You can thank BHVR & killer mains for that.
That's why I said AFTER he tunneled some out at 5 gens. Yes, it's efficient to do that.
It's not efficient to slug people for minutes on end, then pick them up and drop them to extend their bleed out timer.

I always wanted to see a tournament with no restrictions. To show how broken some stuff is.
There already was one.
Killers did fine, they averaged out at 2.16 Kills. I think @zarr did a wonderful analysis of it.
Even with the game at its most Survivor-sided, 4-man comp SWF with 4 OLD DH's, BNPs, Green Medkits with Styptics or Syringes; Killers did well.
-
Since July, I've had a 91% kill rate.
I'd really like some of these challenging Survivors. As it stands, the game is extremely boring right now as Killer for me. I've been forced to seek out comp teams to find a consistent challenge.
Regardless, just because I'm good at Killer doesn't mean Killer needs nerfs and Survivors need buffs. Likewise, just because you're bad at Killer doesn't mean Survivors need nerfs and Killers need buffs. According to the last stats we got, Killers are doing just fine. There's a 39% escape rate at the HIGHEST MMR, where the game should be the most Survivor-sided.

You said it yourself, dude probably was nice and didn't camp/tunnel and got teabagged for it in the exit gates and told gg ez. So he stopped being nice and played to win. Sometimes people just want to blow off steam. It's funny to play insidious Bubba and facecamp someone to death after having to play against back to back sweat squads
He wasn't playing to win after he tunneled someone out at 5 gens.
He just wanted to make people miserable afterwards.

I literally have to hide my prestige.
I will get dodged upwards of 5 to 6 times.
I keep my item the same. I just swap characters.

Lmao OK.
Guess there is no arguing with a zealot.
I hope your next games are more rewarding.
I'm not convinced that uber tunneling and killing someone off at 5 gens, then bleeding people out, then refusing to let them bleed out is simply "oh, he's just roleplaying being a Killer"
This was four Solo's. He had literally already won a minute into the game. There was no bully squad.

Maybe look at this in a different light.
Maybe that killer player was roleplaying as the big bad wolf villain. An utterly unredeemable, cruel monster.
And by doing so he is giving the survivors a more authentic game experience. People often complain DBD has become a party game and that there is no longer any tension.
Perhaps relish the opportunity of a different experience? After, things could have been different and you might have won, overcome the terrible monster hell bent on reaping your suffering.
I do rolpeplay sometimes, though not to this extent and on a side note, as a killer main, there are few things more satisfying than facing a so called "bully squad" and ultimately break them, have them scatter before my superior power. And maybe, if I'm in the mood, let them go rather than giving them the finishing blow.
Just my 2 cents, a lot of things can be different depending on your POV
Mmmm, no.
That's just psycho behavior

One last thing, bro seriously you complain about "some of the worst people"? Don't get me wrong, but have you seen what community we are in? DBD has one of the most toxic communities I've ever seen, second only to lol I think
Somehow, FNAF is actually worse. Probably because a lot of it is made up of children.
I will absolutely not budge on this either, they did it to themselves. The fans of FNAF pretty much killed any goodwill the community had towards them back during the Pinhead teasers I think.
If it comes to the game, I and many others will quit since BHVR would clearly be morally bankrupt. After all their support of the LGBTQ+ community, they'd support FNAF? Yeah, that would be a HUGE slap in the face. I HOPE they'd never do that, but they went in with NFT's too so, you never know.

Stranger Things has to be my favorite.
The first Resident Evil chapter is EASILY the worst chapter.
-
I don't think the role needs any changes.
I do think that a lot of individual Killers need buffs and even more need changes.

Whenever I see this I have a hard time believing the Survivors were playing nice. If you want to Flashlight, Flashbang, Head On, tbag, and Bully with friends, be prepared for consequences.
I have a Brown toolbox I got from a chest.
I don't know what David did, but he got turbo-tunneled off of first hook with 5 gens up.
Thalita was AFK for the first couple of minutes and Jonah couldn't hit any skill checks.
I took a single hit for David to buy him some more time.
I go out of my way to play nicely as Survivor because of all of my time on Killer. So, please, stop blaming me for other peoples poor behavior.

Yes, or at least an attempted bullying. I've won grueling matches against bully squads, and just because you win doesn't mean the experience wasn't miserable.
So, would the Killer equivalent of a "bully" squad be a Skull Merchant or Knight 3-gen?
Grueling, miserable games that you might end up winning but your experience was totally #########?

I'm still not sure why you have to hide the names to post videos like this. The killer and survivor play within the BHVR game rules.
If BHVR don't want player to play like this, they could change the rules or ingame mechanics. As always, I don't understand why the developer is taking a two-pronged approach here.
It's to prevent witch-hunting and I agree with their stance.
Being an ######### in a video game ≠ being subjected to harassment for it

Another us vs them post, a survivor main nonetheless. 🥱😴
Just so I'm understanding, are you calling me a Survivor main?
Also, it's not really us vs them. The literal first line is that I understand why they do it.

You just have to power through it and learn from people that are better than you.
Like who?
Streamers, comp players, people who beat you etc etc
Like, for me, I watch a lot of comp Killers and try to see what they do.

Why all this hate for FNAF? I don't understand
It's a children's game.
It attracts some of the worst people. When there was even a possibility that the next chapter was FNAF, the Forums and Reddit were flooded with spam posts and if you disagreed, woah boy get ready for some absolutely toxic vitriol.
The creator.

I'm saying that whenever we have a forum post complaining about bully SWFs, we get told "it's not that bad" and "it's ok because they aren't doing generators when they are bullying". I'm saying that if these forums are going to make it a point to not care when survivors bully killers, then why should we care if killers bully survivors?
It's just like how some people think it's ok to ragequit as a survivor, but these same people want to shame killers that lobby dodge, because "people should play every match". If killers should play every match, then survivors should do the same, right?
You raise an interesting question.
Can you be "bullied" in a game that you won?

Here we are, with another forum post trying to shame killers, because that is what this entire forum post is trying to do.
If I wanted to shame them, I'd post their name 💀
Are you honestly going to sit there and tell me that this type of behavior is something to be encouraged?
-
I don't mind any of these as long as it isn't FNAF.

How come whenever someone shares their personal experience (and doesn't make they claim it's only one side) there's always the "Well, the other side does it" brigade.
It's just reactionary. People will automatically assume you are attacking them and if they already feel threatened by something else (ie, Eruption nerf and the perceived weakness of Killer), they will react and try to defend.
That's all, it's not something I would dig too deep into, honestly.

Both sides can be very rude to each other.
I'm quite aware.
Just seems a whole lot worse recently.
At least if it's a good SWF, I'm not completely denied agency, I might be outmatched but I can play, ya know? With this though? I really can't do anything about it.

@Coffeecrashing said:
This game also has bully SWFs, that try to make the game miserable for the killer. And if they are a streamer, then you can hear them make fun of the killer the entire match.
Are you ok with survivors that purposely try to make the game miserable for killers?
"I know why people play like this. I understand that they've likely just come off of a very bad game."
Did you miss the first line? Who the ######### is okay with people trying to make other people miserable?
