Btw, Billy is ridiculously ez to loop. I can tell you that with confidence. He's effortless and needs no nerfs.
-
I agreed, until you said he's better than Hag and Spirit.
Hag can spread pain when the survivors are across the map from each other quicker than any other killer in the game, not even Nurse can. She is way better than Billy in chase. She can dominate with Thanatophobia, she can control 1/2 of the map without addons 3/4 with her green range addon alone. She is ridiculously mobile with her traps, joint with Billy. Her map pressure is off the chart and she's everywhere. With STBFL, she's unstoppable. She can control 5 gens at once. That's massive considering Doctor is limited to 3 or maybe 4. She's unpredictable. If you're good enough with Hag, you can even take on SWF, as I do, and still win (Yes, I'm actually that good with Hag that even SWF lose). She's unloopable and amazing at mindgames. She can snowball WAYYY better than any other killer, even better than Billy. I don't need to expand on that, it's common knowledge how good she is at snowballing. She can injure 3 survivors and down 1 in the space of 20 seconds, and with STBFL, maybe even 14 seconds. She can pressure survivors into healing and gets a major advantage if they do. She can sometimes bring the game to a crawl, if they are pressured into healing.
TL;DR, she's way better than Billy and 3rd spot.
And Spirit is OBVIOUSLY better than Billy. And better than Hag. She's ridiculously good in a chase, better than even Nurse at chasing. But comes 2nd due to her lack of map pressure.
Huntress, is weaker though.
-
I really hope we get Brutal strength, or DS. They're my two wishes. Brutal strength would be a solid perk for Spirit.

@CashelP14 said:
@Poweas it actaully has a purpose with this change. It protects someone saving another from the hook. Like ds is now for anti-tunnelling this is for that hook save when a killer is camping the hook.
At the minute unless I'm forgetting a perk there really isn't a perk to help against camping killers for the unhooking survivor. If you want to add that killers can't grab survivors while they are doing the save then it has a useful purpose.
DS helps, if you use it correctly. MoM in my rework idea, would be balanced but making it situational and only for unhooking is a bad idea, since if they got STBFL, you're going down instantly.
-
No, just let him use his saw forever at 127% speed and when he breaks a pallet, he has to start it again. Starting it works similarly to Billy, as does ending it.
Boom, he's a mobile killer, and works differently to Billy.
-
They need more BP's yeah. I agree.
Also welcome back, I missed you a LOT!
-
Some people just abuse exploits. It's disgusting. Although, the tractor is easily shut down by Hag/Nurse, Spirit, Huntress or potentially Trapper, but you need a trap to do so. I put it in order of effectiveness to shut it down.
But yeah, that sucks.
-
@CashelP14 said:
It's main problem is prolonging a chase. I think it should be only 2 hits but will only activate when within 8m of a hooked survivor. It doesn't prolong a chase but only works when going for a save.
That just makes the rework terrible @CashelP14 because MoM becomes too situational.
-
Oh, thought you said they are #########.

It's a poor fix, and i don't give a flying ######### about you 'becoming neutral', because what you said was still ignorant and biased. Wrong is wrong no matter who says it.
@BigBlackMori now you're definitely trolling. None of my statement was 'ignorant' or 'biased'.
Also mind your swearing and hostility, the mods ban for that, just a friendly warning from someone who's seen a lot of great posters banned.

@DocOctober ignore him, he is trying to wind you up.

"You can bring a perk to keep track of your other perk and only have two perks for the entire game."
This is typical Survivor rhetoric. 'It's not broken because a perk can kinda-sorta counter it!'
@BigBlackMori are you trolling? I'm obviously not a survivor main. I became neutral a few days back, from a KILLER MAIN. Get your facts straight before assuming. I gave a simple fix for an issue @Orion brought up, I never said he has to, I never forced anyone to do that. Gave a FIX for an ISSUE. You obviously didn't read his comment.
Guy assumes wrong. I'm not going to bother debating with you since you're obviously trolling right here.

Legion didn't need a nerf, he needed to be completley reworked. It wasnt an issue that Legion was too strong, it was that the strongest way to play Legion was a gameplay style the Devs didnt intend. (Not an exploit, just not what they had in mind when designing the power) that wasnt fun to go against. They wanted Legion to be able to injure multiple survivors and then use M1 to finish them, but in the clusterfuck that must have been the design process they probably mashed 2 or 3 ideas into one and then released it.
Billy is balanced and stay the ######### away from Spirit.
@ToastfaceKilla that Spirit comment got me laughing. I generally enjoy facing Spirit, I think she's the only killer whos fun to play and play against.
Wraith is too actually, and he's pretty strong.
-
@Orion yes, NOED is quite weak right now. But that doesn't change the fact it's equal to Adrenaline right now. If you don't believe this, check my other statements.
Now that we've ended that discussion, let's start with Second chance perks. They are completely ridiculous. Dead hard and DS are bearable but MoM is absolutely insane when stacked with Dead hard and DS. They should not be stackable or MoM should be nerfed. I suggested a reasonable nerf, which leaves them dealable with in my thread here:

Ima try it myself as Wraith.

People acting like HillyBilly isn't one of the best killers, if not second best only to Nurse.
He's not, Hag and Spirit are far stronger. He's one of the best, or top tiers as I call them, but not 2nd.

Your logic is that NOED and Adrenaline are two sides of the same coin because their effects are similar, only reversed. Therefore, to nerf one, the devs would need to nerf the other.
However, NOED has had the same effect since the game was launched, meaning that it was always analogous to Adrenaline, and yet it was nerfed multiple times. Therefore, since NOED was already nerfed, Adrenaline needs to be nerfed as well.
@Orion ok, you're one of my favourite users/people to debate with. But how do you keep misunderstanding me? They're equal NOW, they weren't before, because NOED wasn't preventable and Adrenaline is. But from all the nerfs, NOED became equal to Adrenaline because it also became preventable and when they buffed it to have the same effect, it was basically Adeenaline but killer version.

NOED jumps on any random totem. Taking a perk just to get some use out of another perk is absurd. And you still haven't addressed the fact that NOED's effect has not changed, meaning that according to your logic, it was equal to Adrenaline before it was hit with the nerf hammer, and therefore Adrenaline needs to be nerfed.
What are you going in about? @Orion by my logic, Adrenaline should give you a sprint burst the whole endgame.
Seriously, what are you talking about?
-
@Orion said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/430651#Comment_430651
Why are they equal now? NOED hasn't changed in its effect, except that it can be destroyed at any point during the trial, before the killer even knows it happened.
So, Adrenaline can be destroyed but the survivors know. NOEDS destruction can be known using Thrill of the hunt and on top of that, you can protect the totem. Ez fix.

NOED has been addressed. It used to last forever, then 2 minutes, and now can be disabled before it triggers. So by your logic, Adrenaline should be next.
@Orion did you just read what I wrote? I meant at their current state they're equal perks. Adrenaline can be disabled by simply not letting the gens get done. It's tough to not let it get done, but it's also tough to find all the totems without small game. You have perks to help disable both. I'm not going to bother debating this since Im undoubtedly right about this one.
-
@Orion so when I see killers complaining about adrenaline but then saying NOED is fine, it disgusts me.
-
@Orion said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/430644#Comment_430644
NOED has had nothing but nerfs since release.
@Orion I think you misunderstood me, I don't want NOED nerfed again, I just break the totems, but I do think if Adrenaline was nerfed, they'd have to address NOED because they're pretty much equal.
One takes away a hit, one gives a hit. They both give speed buffs. They're both endgame.
-
It's completely fine, the double standards disgust me, killers don't want NOED nerfed but want to see Adrenaline gone.
-
Balanced landing is way stronger. It's joint with Lithe as strongest exhaustion perk.
It is breaking the game right now, since poor map design causes it to open up some godly loops. It takes a lot of skill to use though, and people find SB better because of that.
My exhaustion tier list goes like this:
Balanced landing/Lithe>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sprint burst>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Dead hard

Difficult, yet simple. Especially on certain maps like the Game where there is nothing but God Pallets.
We were on Coldwind farm, I was just good at mindgaming her.
-
Hag has far more strengths than Spirit and is pretty much a Nurse when mastered but she has one gigantic weakness, and that's SWF, you can overcome SWF as Hag but it takes a lot of skill. I can beat a SWF with Hag but it's so difficult.
Spirit is much more fun though.
But Hag is way stronger.
But I place Spirit above Hag because Hag is weak to SWF. So if you face a lot of SWF, then Spirit unless you're ready to take a beating, and improve a LOT with Hag.
-
I think a Plague tried this against me yesterday, and long story short, I broke her after she lost 1 gen and she chased me normally but gave up on me, and she lost. It's definitely a difficult challenge.
-
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/511/YY4JCHHK7AJ9.jpg The strategy, rush out 2 gens before anything else to guarantee the hatch spawn.
Beautiful build btw.

It's nice looking out for your fellow killers, but slow down a bit, Streetwise is trash.

@Poweas See, that ain't my thing, BUT it would only be fair to make everyone happy lol. Well, I know what I want for my birthday now

Against, Nea because they tend to be ridiculous loopers.
With, Megs, since they mess up soooooo much. One time one self cared when they knew I had we'll make it.
As, Kate cause... It's obvious... (Picture of kate moonwalking) Quite the sight...
-
I think they said they're going to 'tweak' it.
-
Hmm, ok, I mean a guaranteed NOED would definitely push me to break totems, so I can get by with this.
-
I know for a fact, @PhantomMask20763 will definitely go for this. π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£

Lol.
-
@Boss me too, I used to be more lenient with the last guy, but nowadays, I'm more wild. A 3 man or less players loading in, and I'll either insta DC (3 man, because I won't make myself feel so guilty) or farm.
-
Why would they nerf NOED? It's a balanced perk, same for Adrenaline.
And any self care changes would have to be buffs, but most likely, this is fake.
I still can't believe there's so much people wanting a scream DLC XD.
-
@Salty_Pearl she'd have been joint with Billy.
-
Both of them are solid perks. NOED is an extremely reliable counter to genrushing, and Devour Hope is amazing on tryhard beads thrill of the hunt Spirit.
-
I want that so much, it'd be awesome, although, right now, I'm fine with the current one since I play Hag and it's so easy to injure a team, that even without ruin, I'm constantly winning because of the gen slowint potential. Although if they gave that buff, my Spirit games would become so much more satisfying.
-
@PigNRun that sounds so beautiful, I've totally gotta try Iron maiden with Doctor πππ
@Chi I recently had a deranking Billy do the same thing, he bm'd me in first chase, because I was the only survivor who mindgamed him (although my friends did too later) and my friend flashlight saved him, I was lowkey triggered that he was toxic for absolutely no reason so I forced him to chase me, made him throw his game and used a dead part of the map with 2 unsafe pallets and still ran him around effortlessly. He was helpless, and I teabagged at every pallet and window I found. His salt was priceless and me and my mate really triggered him as he swore, we were like we loved him and want to be with him πππππ

Looping is fine. Take a chill pill. Infinites are not and should be fixed, but they will. I loop myself and verse loopers as killer, and it's completely fine. Not anything wrong. If you struggle so much, play Hag or Spirit. Incredibly fun killers, and effortless counters to loops.

I use to "talk" with many of these people back on the Steam Forums. They are extremely bias Killer mains that will argue the sky blue and insult you on a dime's notice. I'm shocked they aren't banned on here already with the behavior they had on there, and i thought that was what this forum was supposed to clean up. I guess not. (To note, I didn't find anything too bad in this thread itself)
I have played a ton of both sides and mained Hag back during her Stun Teleport days. The game has only gotten drastically easier for Killers. There are still OP aspects of Survivors no doubt about it. But to pretend that Killers don't have their own OP aspects is delusional.
And since I know the Legion fiasco is going on right now. I'll say I think he needed reworked for sure, but I feel the rework they gave him looks very unpromising and will make him too weak and boring. He didn't deserve that type of gutting.
But you best well know me saying the basement stairs needs widened with this new end game time change will have me quickly labeled and hated for being a filthy Survivor player despite wanting Legion to be fixed, not broken down to rubble.
@VexTheHex I'm talking about on different threads, but in this one its quite clear how biased some people are not even willing to give it a discussion. That basement stairs idea is really good and can stop people being bodyblocked, but I think there'll be a lot of people complaining about your idea. But with this new endgame, that could be really helpful.
Also Legion, is terrible. While I love that he now has counterplay, they really gutted his power. Just like Freddy.

@GrootDude said:
@Poweas I think that end game perks should only work after all gens are done. Yep thatβs the problem with this forum. You have a survivor sided opinion and all the killers go at you.
@TreemanXD that's why I became a killer main, so people stop, but obviously it's the same old thing, so I'll just argue for a survivor side again. I know genrushing should be fixed, but stuff like nerfing a survivors perk like the new DS is so dumb, DS is finally balanced and they still complain.
If killer mains had their way, this game would be chaotic. It's why I respect the devs so much.
-
@VexTheHex said:
Wait for testing before calling for nerfs or buffs on anything really. We aren't fully sure how things will play out. But it is laughable how bias some posters are to even try to turn this new mechanic being a buff to Survivors. When the whole thing was basically made to stop toxic Survivors from stalling matches at the end and applied a pressure mechanic to leave.
You're right, @VexTheHex. Nice name btw. And I'm not a 'biased survivor main' as you'd think, I'm a killer main. The only reason I have such a low problem with NOED is because I just think it's too meta and a bad bandaid for genrushing. I personally would rather see genrushing fixed, and then I'm happy. But this thread is not about genrushing, otherwise I wouldn't target NOED. I think the speed increase and instadowns are bad. But as you said, we'll see it in the PTB.
-
But since I'm a survivor wait scratch that, a person with a survivor sided opinion, on the forums whatever I say is heavily looked down upon.

Noed- activates upon exit gates being powered, Two things make this happen with new endgame, Survivors finish gens, or killer closes hatch with last survivor up, Last survivor can still open a gate , Why do you and others keep posting like NOED is active all game?
Like this makes no sense, NOED makes you faster, and I'm also worried about this, you know what that speed can do? It can make you travel around the map far quicker, and patrol the gates quicker which makes the survivors job, to open the gates tougher. 'This post is being just about being entitled to win now'. I dont even know what you're on if you think I'm complaining about getting more chances to escape.
