We're referring to the cream of the crop... the teams that can get the gates open in under 5mins myers isnt going to slow them down same with plauge and gf..... hag.............. shes top 5 but the teams we're referring to wouldn't fall for her all that much... so no theres maybe 3 that can handle what we're talking about...
Hag can easily stomp them, she's more effective than Billy lol.
-
Actually I've started to LOVE Huntress. Like damn she's a lot of fun!
-
Spirit and Hag. Spirit because I'm in love with her mechanics and everything and Hag because I also love Hag.

I think the Turtle Beach headphones that I have is called Recon 70. I got it from Wal-Mart...really good quality.
Can’t even deny that I have D/C’ed from Prayer Beads and Iridescent Head before because I don’t feel like dealing with the BS. Honestly now I just don’t care enough, I get my bloodpoints and move on. I’ll suffer I guess.
My PSN name is SpongeBoy2898 (I’m a huge SpongeBob fan).
If anybody else wants to add me then feel free to do so 😊
Will you ever come to PC? I'd love to play with you we get along so well.

this game is gonna die without spirit having counterplay
Nope. She has counterplay, more than Nurse. Could use a tiny but not massive nerf tho.
-
@Nenkie Forgot Plague, she's strong too. That makes 7.

@Nenkie said:
There's like 4 viable killers at low ranks, don't expect them to get nerfed unless they re balance the game completely.
Isn't there 6?
There's Nurse, Spirit, Hag, Billy, Myers, Demogorgon, Ghostface and Huntress.
I mean only Nurse and Spirit are overpowered too. Hag and Billy are just very strong but not OP. Myers, Demogorgon, Ghostface and Huntress are strong.

I don’t want any hardcore nerfs. Just more ways to counter her without being totally reliant on her good she is.
1.) Grass and corn should move while she is phasing
2.) Her lunge should be capped at the Saya (even that is pretty strong)...the Saya and Suba should not stack.
3.) Prayer Beads needs to be reworked or at least have it so you can hear her breathing while phasing with PB.
4.) Footsteps should be louder like Wraith’s
5.) I’m not totally down with this but some people have suggested that she should have no collision while phasing.
I’m not even concerned about the “pallet mindgame” where she stands still. If the survivor is stupid enough to stand there or vault back into her that is their fault. I just feel as though you should have more of a clue where she is while phasing not particularly if she is phasing or faking it.
They work, yeah. Open a thread on it :D

@Poweas. She’s unfun because she has VERY little counterplay unless you bring in the right perks. She has no interaction because for a majority of the chase she’s just standing still.
Honestly the only add-ons I have an issue with are her purple add-ons. The Saya and Amulet are SUPER strong. Everytime I use it, no gens get done and my match is super easy. The lunge is insane ESPECIALLY paired with the Katana Suba. The lunge is about 2X to 3X the length of Wraith’s windstorm lunge.
Prayer Beads as we all know are stupid.
She doesn’t move grass or corn either while phasing.
If the Spirit is good she isn’t gonna have any punishment. Her power goes into a cooldown but she is still faster than survivors AND she is usually right on their tail if she screws up her phase-walk. Nurse at least has a fatigue.
Spirit is Nurse...just with a cooldown.
I don’t wanna butcher her but I just wish there was a little more you could do to counter her besides cross your fingers she can’t hear and hope you brought in Iron Will (which is countered by Stridor so if she has that you are screwed either way)
Do you have suggestions to nerf her without making her as bad as she used to be?

Curious that you say green+ add-ons, when all the purple add-ons for Nurse except Campbell's Last Breath are trash.
If I said general addons, it wouldn't be accurate. Since Spirits lower ones are terrible. Sorry for making one mistake.
-
Hag.
-
Spirit has Nurse's situation. She's not ridiculously OP at base but with addons that are green+ she becomes so unbalanced .
Her base duration is ONLY 5 seconds so if you can throw her off once, she'll definitely be punished with 15 seconds, but with addons, she's a bit too strong since she has no punishment. That's coming from a Spirit main. @MegMain98 I think this is what you mean when you tell me she's unfun as hell right?
@Peanits would Spirit ever get an addon nerf to balance her out, like Nurse will.
To the OP, for now just use IRon will and Spine chill to tell her movements, that was you won't struggle at all since the combo tells you when she's after you and when you can vault over a pallet. Or when you vault a window, if Spine chills light goes, then vault back over because she went around.
That's how I face her anyway.
-
Come on here or talk to my sister.
-
It's niche run it if u want.
-
Punish it, but by slugging for the 4k. I have to much going on in a match to camp or tunnel them.
-
Nurse
Spirit
Hag
Billy
Huntress
Freddy
Myers
Demogorgon/Plague
Ghostface
Pig
Wraith
Trapper
Clown
Doctor
Legion

Spoiler...he ain’t better than Hag. He isn’t even better than Huntress. I say the Demogorgon is a little bit better than Freddy.
I think Freddy is MILES better than he was but he’s still not that hard to face. My only issue is that his attack range seems super large compared to other killers. Freddy is a Stretch Armstrong.
Thanks. Doubted he was anyway XD.
-
She used to be much better.
-
Jane has a built in breakdown :P
-
You are legit not even considering the fun for survivors. There's no point making this game fun for killers and sucking out the fun for survivors.
-
Do you want a gold medal for predicting it? We totally didn't see it coming ourselves...
-
It can be used for an element of surprise like others are saying.

Read, and respond to my comment coherently, and I'll respond intelligently. otherwise I will ignore you.
I'm tired of this type of argument tbh, let's agree to disagree. Just try to learn Hag if you got the DLC and if you're bored of whatever you play. Trust me you'll see what I mean eventually :P
-
She's like a slightly weaker Hag. But ridiculously good though. It's like Nurse and Spirit. Spirit being a good, but weak version of Nurse.
-
@Chickenchaser said:
Worse than hilbilly, better than hag. He's right in the middle. A good team can easily stomp him no matter what a killers skill level might be just like all mid range killers.
How's he better than Hag if his skill is irrelevant? If you're better than the team as Hag then THEY won't have a chance regardless of THEIR skill. Hags also a lot better than Billy if played correctly, I've argued it before my break from the forums and I will again. It's obvious that Hag is better.
-
What's his base like? Without addons is he good or niche?
-
Spirit's base is very strong. I play her without addons and Ruin. Heck my build isn't even that hardcore lol compared to the meta. A Nurses calling, Surveillance, BBQ and Chilli and STBFL. Two off meta perks (Surveillance and STBFL) and two meta perks. With no addons.
Compared to the hardcore builds Ruin, BBQ, NOED, and A Nurses calling, Yakuyoke Amulet and Prayer beads, I actually do better because I have a harder build and I'm used to it.
Just shows people see these addon users and think her base sucks.
-
They could use some tuning down I think. They're not as bad as when good Tinkerer was around but they're still massive problems.

Yeah I agree with you. Kindred basekit (or at least showing only showing camping killer aura) would have done a better job
Yeah, glad to see someone else sees eye to eye with me on these bandaids.

Sure you can still do that..but it's not always reliable and also you still have to worry about pallets and windows
It is always reliable unless the sounds are bugged as hell. The pallets and windows can be avoided easily while you listen out.
-
@justarandy It's another bandaid for it though which annoys me a lot.

Solos usually don't know if the killer is (proxy) camping. So solos run aaaaaalll the way from the gen to check and see "oh well, seems like a camper. Lets go aaaaaalll the way back to my gen".
That's when the perk comes handy. The wasted time is back again.
@justarandy I see, then I guess it works doesn't it.

To their credit spirit is hard without sound..scratch Mark's are buggy and delayed
If you listen for the footsteps, it's actually easy. I main her so I'd know. Although after my break I've been left on low ranks. But I remember how easy it was even at rank 1 if the sounds worked and I sniffed them out from footstep noise.
-
@oxygen said:
Totally agree. I honestly feel incredibly "naked" without it.
Ikr. I can't play without it because I'm always getting found after an unhook, but with it, I'm like a ninja.

Lol karma. It's a game don't stress. They're just whining.

34 seconds is a huge bonus.
You could run into the radius then go onto a gen just to get the bonus and it'll still be buying you time as you do a gen.
Actually yeah that's decent. Still though, seems like its overkill. But yeah this works though.

It works well with the new perk that blocks vault locations around a completed generator. The idea being that the survivor that finishes the generator might not realize that the killer's running the perk until it's too late.
It wouldn't necessarily be a nerf to solo players over SWF unless you regularly play with one of your friends as a spotter, watching watching and reporting in just in case they get blocked while you intentionally look away from them and try not to see any blockers.
Oh so it's a synergy nerf. They could have built it in to the perk though. It still seems a bit much for the base.

Maybe it's a reasonable change against the facecampers?
Bit far though. Plus if someones facecamping then what are they doing near the hook in the first place? They should be rushing gens.
-
@Peanits can you explain the reasoning behind this nerf? Windows are a bad thing to touch and this doesn't affect the target for nerfs, SWF so can you explain what this is for since it's obviously not good.
-
I think this perk is designed for when the survivors reach you on your last bit of struggle. So 15 seconds is much better. 34 just hurts the killers way too much.
-
That's ridiculous. It should be 15 or something.

Imagine actually playing against a Spirit. Does anyone actually play seriously against her? All that happens is that survivors don’t try and let her down them while they suicide on the hook.
It’s not fun to play against Spirit nor is it fun to play as her, it’s never a real game. It’s two DC’s and 2V1.
Had a bad game? I have a ton of fun with Iron will and Spine chill :P good luck catching me if I know when you're following and when you're trying to cut me off.
Wait weren't you a Spirit main? What happened? XD

It's excellent in red ranks. I have no clue what you're talking about. Although I think you're saying that to make yourself feel superior?
-
Tbh I get hit by DS all the time, I'm not salty. I'll tunnel all I want. If they DS me, I earned it. It's not hard to catch them as Spirit anyway. As other killers, I'm still OK with it because you do earn it.

I'm okay with nerfing Moris. I'll put forth the idea I've been pitching: Yellow Bloodpoint add-ons (minus Pudding and Shell) also let you Mori one Survivor who has been hooked two times (NOT a Survivor who is on death hook; they must have been hooked two times specifically in order for them to be able to be Mori'd with the offering), and Green Bloodpoint add-ons (minus Streamers) also let you Mori any Survivor who has been hooked two times.
I'm not sure how I feel about making the key only work on the hatch after the gates are powered. I feel that might be too heavy-handed a nerf.
You probably know better than me tbh. Your idea sounds like it'd make less of a backlash.

Not a good comparison IMO. If the ranger medkit is unbalanced (and I am not saying it is), then the ranger medkit is what should be nerfed while the other med-kits are left untouched, regardless of the rarity of any of the medkits. I am not arguing that all the keys should be nerfed because some of the keys have the ability to prematurely open the hatch. I am arguing that the keys that have the ability to prematurely open the hatch should be nerfed.
K butcher moris and we'll give you the keys. I think moris should be after two hooks so they're just an animation thing.
Keys should be after gates are powered but hey, that's just me.
