The only change Legion needed was the stun on missed frenzy attack,not being able to damage dw with normal frenzy attack and fixing moonwalking.
I don't know why they nerfed him to the ground instead like he was some kind of godlike killer.
The current changes would make sense if he could down in frenzy, but he can't, i don't understand the logic.

He's boring to play against, not for the same reasons as he used to tho, just my opinion tho.
Also that won't stop people from DC'ing against Legion or any killers.

Would have been cool on Legion at release instead of using it as an excuse to rework borrowed time.
Makes sense lorewise judging by the trailer as well where he fool david to stab him.

He's easily looped, use gens and self care to wake yourself up, if you are unsure where he is, stay near pallets and windows otherwise you won't have time to react because of how short terror radius.
I think that's pretty much it.

New legion? I just play as M1 killer, the power is so bad now that's there's no point in using it unless you like being looped.

Maybe on some rare maps but it's fine honestly, it used to be worse.

The problem is that MoM wastes time for the killer. The user of MoM is required to heal several health states before it can benefit them. Sloppy butcher slows that down, thus wasting more time for the survivor. Both sides have time wasted, effectively cancelling eachother out. Simple enough for you?

But longer healing doesn't stop it from activating, hence what i meant by the perk not actually countering it, besides healing is so quick in this game that even sloppy won't do much, maybe if you soloqueue but at this point you should be using a medkit.
Once again, the perk itself is fine, it's only an issue when it's stacked 3/4 times and in SWF plays.

Making healing times longer doesn't stop MoM for activating or gaining "stacks" so i don't see how sloppy counters it in any way.

@ClogWench It's easy to get hit that much, you can bodyblock and all that jazz, wich is what SWF do because since they are coordinated they heal effectively, hell you don't even need a SWF to do that, just need to be at least average at the game.
BTW you keep mentionning sloppy, but it doesn't work against mom so idk why you keep mentionning it, besides, i shouldn't have to use a perk to make bad design less awful.

Tl;dr MoM is broken when stacked, not alone, just like old DS.
Just fix how powerful it is when stacked and then everyone will stop whining about it.

It would be cool but it's not gonna happen sadly.
PTB legion sucks and is a shadow of it's former self but is in a good base to be balanced, we just need to wait for now.

I agree, but since this perk is in the game, after the terrible feedback it got after the leak and the implementation...i don't think they really care...for now. @Cali

I don't like MoM but makes sense that they don't adress it in a Q&A about the PTB, for now let's just wait until this whole thing is over before adressing the perk, i don't like it either but we don't have much choice, they also need a selling point for the DLC, other than "It's Ash from Evil Dead".

I mean alot of surv DC when things don't go in their favour, and now that the legion rework happened i'm guessing they expect devs to nerf every killer with a huge DC rate? I hope not.

Yeah i agree, he's in a better base state to work around now, and so close to be decent, they just need to revert some stuff to make it a viable alternative.

It's barely a free hit anymore unless people are out in the open (WIch never happens if you face decent survivors, they will always stay near structures) with how slow you and your vaults are, even wraith does a better job at getting first hits than PTB Legion.

Yeah i hope that they revert some changes because currently you can't do much with FF, just getting a first hit with FF can be a pain unless someone is in an open space (Wich never happens unless you face potato survivors) and you can be looped during Frenzy at most structures because of how slow you are and how slow your vaults are, it would make sense to be that slow if the power was lethal and as powerful as a spirit or a nurse, but it's not, far from it.
The biggest change they need to revert is the fact that you need full power to even activate FF.

Right now they are just a M1 killer because of how restricted the use of FF is, the only change Legion ever needed was to get punished from missing a hit and that several FF hits wouldn't affect the DW timer.
He also needed a fix to moonwalking, wich happened, it's every other nerf that happened that's undeserved and wasn't needed, right now there's not point in using the power because it's almost never up and not worth using because you lose too much tracking if you ever try using it.
The only thing that make them playable and "better" now is 115% speed, because right now their first hit and share the pain gameplay is gutted and hurts you too much for what you gain from it, all the matches i played as a basic M1 killer were faster and gave me better results than the ones where i tried using my power like it's intended to be used.
If a killer is better without using it's power after a "Rework" i think there's a huge problem.

Why did you restrict and nerf Legion's power so harshly? Currently it's way better to play him as a regular M1 killer without using his power otherwise you lose alot of tracking, lockers shut you down, and the vault is so slow that you get looped, which shutdown your ability to get a first hit with it...

My favorite Freddy Build is using monitor and abuse and the paint brush to have a very small terror radius, you can jumpscare survivors quite alot with it but don't expect to win 1V1 chases, it makes him quite slow, but is damn fun to play.

I don't know, i guess i think he doesn't fit because he's a vampire and is technically "better" than a regular human compared to Ash? I don't know, ngl i never watched the show with Ash so i can't tell how "powerful" he is.

Yeah you don't need much addons to make him good, but you do need them, otherwise his power is too weak by default imo

If the change goes trough, i'd say Legion because he's essentialy a M1 killer with a power that hurts him more than it helps him, it will makes him on equal footing with addonless freddy but a freddy with full addon outclass PTB legion by far.
Piggy is far better than even current Legion imo, and on the PTB she's weaker in the endgame but still far more competent, Ambush is very good at mindgaming people if you know how to use it.

I'm back on the live after playing a bunch of legion matches and some survivor ones.
I'm waiting for some tweaks to be done to Legion because playing a M1 killer isn't as fun as i remembered it to be.

Here's my opinion:
PTB Legion is basically a killer without power, because of how restrictive it is to use and how much it works AGAINST you, there's never really much point to use it.
Vaulting? Hell no, it's so slow that survivors can use that to hide easily because you can't track them in Frenzy unless you use Stridor and they are already injured and not using Iron Will.
To tag multiple people with DW? Good luck with that, with how easy is it to lose your current Frenzy gauge, and if lockers are nearby, you are doomed and will have to force yourself into eating a stun.
To catch up? Good luck with that, you can't see blood nor scratchmarks and are slow during frenzy, might as well keep your tracking by not frenzing and catching up at 115% speed.
The only uses i see of Legion's frenzy on the PTB is when using the iridescent pin, because it makes pallets breaks on vaulting, and the slow animation is still faster than breaking them manually, other than that, it's worthless.

Just make him a survivor, so at least he will get a broken perk and never get touched, looking at you Ash.
