I'm sure the devs will tweak how the bleedout timer ticks down, like making it a set radius not the terror radius itself. To be honest, I'd argue that they should buff the FF movement speed even more. It should let them cover a sizeable distance considering you can't even down people with it.

I don't blame you for taking a break. Back when I first started, I was in love with this game. Then a couple months later I was fed up with all the crap survivors had at their disposal (I didn't play much survivor myself back then, and this was when DS was still instant use). Took me a long while but I got drawn back in by watching my favorite streamers play. The game has its issues but it has charm too. I don't think it's too late to save this game but there's no incentive for players to stay.
-
The Killer challenges are pretty fun. But I sadly can't for the life of me get a survivor match. Some of them are pretty simple on paper but aren't easy to do. Like the interrupt and grab. I swear to god I could get a grab every match if I tried, but as soon as I activate that challenge the grabs stop working or I just get too jittery and press the attack button at the wrong time.

The changes are fine. Dead By Daylight is not your personal running simulator. I guarantee you the devs know about the legion issues and are doing something to fix it. Stop acting like the world around you is falling apart.
-
Maybe if you stare at him he gets stronger, like a reverse ghost face or Myers. The more you stare at him fills his power bar and lets him instadown, get faster, or dramatically increase his lunge range.
-
It would be funny to see a severed head or maybe a wreath of fingers. Probably shouldn't be a survivor from the main cast. Might be weird to load into a game and see your own head mounted on the hooks.
-
I think you should start with 1 at the beginning, and you naturally charge another 60 seconds after throwing the first. If you go against a killer like the wraith or Myers, you'd be lucky to 1 pebble going if at all.
-
Insidious: Stand still 4 seconds to channel the power of insidious. Once charged, all lockers on the map are highlighted. Hold secondary power button to channel and teleport to the locker of your choice. Once used, Insidious goes on cooldown for 60(?) Seconds after you exit the locker, there is a map wide sound cue (locker door, goofy horn, anything) and you get the undetectable status effect for 5 seconds.

Borrowed time needs no buffs. Nemesis has the same counter spirit fury enduring does: drop pallet early once you see the obsession switch. Beast of prey takes too long to set up; it would be faster to hit them twice and down than to try and bleed someone out. Freddy can't counter borrowed time if you're awake; play smart and he can't effectively camp unless he gets a basement hook.
-
Take a break from the game if you're unhappy. You can try learning from content creators and other players. This game has a steep learning curve and until you get above that hump, you're going to struggle.

Are we really complaining about free cosmetics again? Really?

To be frank, keyboard and mouse doesn't hold too many advantages over a controller, at least in this game. People believe it is easier to 360, but I believe that with muscle memory and confidence it is very easy to spin with a 360 happy survivor. I have met players on Xbox who claim to use keyboard and mouse, and as far as I know they still do to this day.

Patch 4.2.0
The Pig starts the match dead on the ground. You are free to do gens and escape.
See you in the fog.
-
I like it. Frankly anything would be better for him right now. You aren't gonna chainsaw good survivors unless you've got play with your food stacks.
-
Remove Iridescent head, increase base speed to 115. Problem solved.
-
I can agree to some extent, but to change fragrant hair, you would have to buff tombstone to have infinite tier 3.
-
Body blocking what? Because virtually everything is body blockable.
-
This thread gave me an aneurysm
-
Oni seems a lot like hillbilly in some aspects. His power is like if hillbilly had to gas up his chainsaw before use, though. Not sure if he's stronger or weaker since I can't play him either. His aesthetic is 10/10 so I'll probably get him day 1.
-
You mean the old meta? Unless sabo makes a return we won't see those perks used regularly.
-
I'm gonna have to remember this from now on. Trapper shadow buff confirmed?
-
I don't think so. Still, the base FoV should be increased by at least 5-10°. The game is nauseating at 87°
-
I'm pretty sure it's the warrior ancestor referenced in the lore. They wore the red oni mask that appears in both trailers. As for the survivor i was hoping for Rin's father. They could have used a sympathetic aspect in that the entity was the driving force behind why he killed his family. He felt so much regret and grief that The entity was able to tap into and feed off his inner torment. The spirit gets to exact her revenge on him at her leisure, and we get a swaggy Japanese business man with some sweet suit cosmetics.
-
I think they've gotten better but I'm a console peasant. Hair especially looks way better than it used to. It probably has to do with how the engine has been updated. The lighting for example seemed a lot better back in the day.

you completely ignored my argument about you killer mains complaining about not being able to stop survivors from hopping into hatches btw.
I've never complained about that but okay. Again that statement doesn't mean anything. Just because somebody disagrees with you doesn't make them a killer main. U trolling, bro?
-
"Tunneled alongside my fellow non obsessions."
I see the killer mains have ascended. They can now tunnel multiple survivors at once. The end times are upon us survivor mains... /s

Ruin is better for killers that don't require set up time. This includes hill Billy, nurse, spirit, clown, wraith, etc. Killers that need to set their power up can make better use of corrupt intervention, since it gives them more lenient patrol routes. This includes killers like hag, trapper, and plague. Corrupt is arguably better because it's guaranteed to last for 2 minutes, but ruin is stronger in that it's effect actually regresses gen progress (assuming the survivor can't hit great skill checks).

and no I dont feel "entitled"you killer mains complain about survivors escaping with keys and not being able to do anything. this is the exact same thing.
I believe that does make you entitled. You weren't able to get your free escape so you came to the forums to complain. Calling someone a killer/survivor main doesn't invalidate their argument btw
-
Noed is balanced. This same discussion pops up at least once a week.
-
Some basic loops and maybe some better AI. New killers and survivors have a hard time running loops like the jungle gym. Seeing an npc utilizing them might help survivors learn how to run them and give killers some practice.
-
Legends say when you pick up the golden tool box you can drink the juice right from the plagues mouth. Mountain Dew Chunky Soup Mix.

go watch any big killer content creator. they do just fine. most of the complainers are awful at the game
Content creators pick and choose what they upload. You think they don't have hard games? 4 survivors that can loop effectively, can work through ruin, and run meta perks will beat even the best killer players. Camping is a foolhardy strategy that will net 1 to 2 kills at most, assuming the other survivors aren't stupid. Getting camped sucks, but so does getting gen rushed. Killer and surv are two sides of the same coin. You think I look down on survivors in general and don't emphasize with them just because there's some ######### heads who tbag, click their flashlights and abuse God loops?
-
Solo is more exhilarating and satisfying when you win. Swf is boring and easy.
-
The changes just came out not too long ago. They've already got other plans for other killers. You guys need to learn the art of patience.
-
With rank reset, Rank 1 survivors and killers get pooled in with green and purple ranks. Once they rank up your games should be normal.
-
I'm pretty sure the hatch spawn location is predetermined at the start of the match.
-
Huntress. The way she whacks the survivor is satisfying. Hag is a close second for actually having gore.

Avoid player is on Xbox, its called blocking the man
I would love theater though as I am an editor
Blocking doesn't actually prevent you from being matched together. They can't message you but I've had to block someone who was toxic but i was still matched with them and subjected to mori spam.
-
Do gens and stay alive.
-
It's their forums. They can delete anything they want at any time for any reason. What did you post about?
-
Drift King Hillbilly
-
Almost every killer perk released in the ghost face and stranger things chapters need buffs. I don't understand why the devs are so scared to make good killer perks.
-
Killers should get points based on 3 hooks, less if they've already been hooked once or twice. Survivors should get altruism and survival bonuses.
-
Demogorgon because of his size. I rarely see him, though. Myers can freak me out when he has a 4 meters terror radius
-
I do wish there was more gore. Only killer who gets gorey is hag since her mori actually pulls chunks from people. For a game with a Mature rating, it's awfully pg13 with its graphic violence.
-
Shadowborn and Plunderer's Instinct
-
Security camera is a solid add-on with a slug build. Down someone, leave them on the ground with knockout, hunt the rest. Disorienting as hell but swfs can just tell eachother where they are.
-
Haddonfield is up there. If everybody has balanced landing it's broken as hell. I hate Thompson's House and rotten fields the most, though .
-
Raw map pressure would be Billy. Freddy and Hag are honorable mentions, though.
-
It's all about stereotypes and stigma. Just how some survivors characters are seen as toxic turds, some killers are seen the same way. Bubba for example is associated with facecamping. People see a bubba and they automatically assume he'll camp them hard since he's a weaker killer. A lot of survivors will dc if they get downed near the basement.
