Would have been nice if they used different plants or flowers that Claudette might have been fond of. Trapper could have at least had some stuff relating to his lore; old mining gear, his father's skull, maybe even designs based on his perks. Shame they took such a lazy approach. I scoff every time i see all 5 charms just sitting there.

Camping wouldn't happen that much if they got a little notification showing they're losing blood points; if the killer stays within 16m of the hook. Deviousness would trickle down very slowly at first (so as to not punish killers who find someone near the hook), but after 30 seconds it takes a nosedive. Then when it reaches 0, Chaser (and eventually brutality, then hooks) does the same. People wouldn't want to hardcore camp if there's a tangible punishment. This way they depip and get nothing from the match. A literal waste of time.
-
Demogorgon makes me want a werewolf. The general body shape would be pretty similar.
-
Ghostface can throw me off pretty hard, if I'm not running spine chill. A good hag can be terrifying.
-
Adam Francis? You mean Diet Detective Tapp.
-
No thanks
-
The system matches you with people within 8 ranks of you if I understand right. It can be hard to find matches so making this even harder would make things worse.
-
Deep pockets. Let's you carry more than one item.
-
Red Forest. Both maps are ridiculously large which makes playing certain killers an absolute chore. I like the temple a lot, though. Mothers Dwelling should be shrunk by like 10-20%, and the God window should be modified.
-
Not directly, but sloppy does increase the time it takes to heal, which gives blood orbs more chances to spawn. Healing against the Oni is really important, so slowing this down as much as possible is a good idea.
-
Dream character you say? Nosferatu as killer, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer as survivor :)
-
Biggest problem are the giant ass backwards maps that make it impossible to adequately defend gens.
-
Survivors ALWAYS abuse exploits as soon as they're found and made public. JuSt PlAy ArOuNd It BaBy KiLlEr. Nobody should be surprised when killers abuse bugs right back. It's like stepping on your neighbor's flowers and being surprised when they do it back. And besides, the bug is already gone, unlike survivor exploits which usually take much longer to be fixed...
-
I agree with your general statement, but I must add that many loops are completely unmindgameable. Good survivors make Oni look like a joke. But that can be said for any killer that isn't spirit or nurse. Oni's saving grace lies in his interactive power, much like Myers.
-
That sucks to hear. I was hoping the hotfix would fix this issue. Been wanting to play the new chapter so bad. It's probably a non issue to bhvr right now. I saw your thread yesterday was closed almost immediately. Shame because it's a clear DBD issue, not Xbox or internet.

Whats the reason why you like Save the best for the last? If I may can ask you that^^
It makes m1 killer gameplay much more smooth and fun. Being able to recover faster from attacks can completely end chases in some situations, and makes it so pallets have to be thrown more quickly since you can catch up more quickly. It's a bad choice for a lot of killers, but killers like Trapper, demogorgon, pig, and hag really make it shine
-
Head on but only with quick and quiet.
Save the best for last for phat stacks.
-
You just got him. Give it time and I'm sure you'll see his potential. I've been playing him non stop on console, and have won 90% of the matches I've played.
-
Not pay to win, but pay to grind. Oh, you want more bloodpoints? Give us 5 dollars and you can have the best farming perk in the game...
-
Step 1: buy steroids from your local gym rat
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit $$$
-
I'd say he's upper mid tier. Above Myers but below Hillbilly. Not a bad place to be, really. Good builds make Oni strong.
-
I'll stick with Bond, thanks.
-
Played 2 matches on it, both as survivor. SoW is a large map with many familiar, strong tiles, and plenty of opportunities to use perks like lithe and balanced landing. Gens are *relatively* easy to find. I'd say it's very survivor sided, but I haven't played it as killer yet.
-
Pop is better on good killers. Low tier killers can use spirit fury enduring as a bandaid to do better than they would normally.
-
Boo 👎
-
Happened to me as well. Couldn't connect to matches as survivor, and couldn't find survivors as killer. Feels bad, man.
-
Agreed. Red rank survivor as well and haven't seen him once. I play him all the time. But I haven't been able to find a single match tonight, killer or survivor.
-
I love some variants of Coldwind. But if I'm playing Myers and I get rotten fields you can bet I'll DC or give up before the match even starts. His power is literally unusable if a survivor sprints into corn. Such a disgusting series of maps.
-
Idk man I'm enjoying the hell out of Oni on Xbox. We have our limitations with the snaps, I'll give you that. But Oni is a strong instadown killer with snowball potential. I don't see what the issue is...
-
It is the best killer map, yes. Hawkins is as strong for killers as Crotus Prenn, Thompson's House, and Red Forest are strong for survivors. There are many strong loops that survivors can use, though; and proper gen completion makes 3 genning actually impossible. Smart killers will win most of the time against good survivors, but gen speed can trump all killers regardless of skill.
-
I gen rush pretty well when I play survivor, but when I play killer gens *usually* go normally. It sucks when you 3 gens pop at once, though. Survivors are the power role when they can sit on gens, but luckily most survivors dick around too much.

@PistolTimb So basically when I’m in phase mode I listen closely for survivors?
When they're injured, yes. You move super fast and can track them very efficiently. When they're healthy, you won't hear anything except their footsteps and *maybe* their breathing (but I never notice this myself). She's all about prediction, which takes time and practice. I found her to be super frustrating to play at first, but once you get used to her quirks, she's an absolute powerhouse.
-
The dc system won't go into effect until tomorrow I think. Hopefully the basement bug will be fixed by then.
-
Do your best to get first hits then finish them off with your phase. Headphones makes this really easy, but if you don't have any like me, the perk Stridor can make up for it. You can fake out survivors at pallets and they may panic and endanger themselves. She isn't really add-on dependent, so any of them should work on her. Heads up, though: I've heard rumors that her lunge after phasing is buggy right now. I haven't had a chance to test her myself, but it's something to keep in mind.
-
He's pretty good. But if a survivor is crazy good and denies that first hit, he can be frustrating to play. Still has a ton of potential but he needs good perks to work well.

Slenderman
Power: Into the Void
Start the match with a 40 meter terror radius, no red stain, 115% movement speed with a longer lunge. Survivors within 20 meters of you are inflicted with the obliviousness status effect. Power bar begins to fill as survivors look at you, and survivors looking at you for more than 2 seconds are highlighted by killer instinct. After your meter is filled (after being stared at for 10-20 seconds), use the activate ability button to enter Into the Void. While the power is active, your terror radius is removed, basic attacks instantly down survivors, the increased lunge is removed, and survivors are plagued with static and hallucinations of the slenderman. This lasts for 90 seconds, or until the slenderman is pallet stunned. After the power meter reaches zero, the slenderman can no longer instadown, but continues to not have a terror radius for 20 seconds, and the hallucinations/static persist until slenderman returns to his normal state. His power can be gained an unlimited amount of times, assuming survivors actively stare at him.
Edit: just realized you weren't asking for ideas. Oh well :(
-
I'm not sure what you mean, but pc and Xbox can't play together yet. Weird I know, considering the Microsoft store is so connected to the Xbox. Hopefully crossplay will come in within the next few months.
-
If you go afk you deserve nothing. To go afk is deciding that your time is more important than everyone else's.
-
They should let you get stacks from healing people too. That way you aren't forced to hook bomb just to get extra points.
-
Yesterday I was farming with people after i hooked somebody in the basement (I didn't know about the bug and felt bad). I tried to let a Feng blind me while carrying someone, but I didn't drop him. Like I would be fully blinded and still hold him. Then I let her drop a pallet on me and I still held him like nothing happened. This game is so broken sometimes. There's always bugs with new chapters, but this chapter is the buggiest one yet
-
Learn what you can from the match and move on. You're not meant to win every match.
-
Her and Wraith are both having lunge issues from what I understand
-
Bbq, pop, sloppy butcher and monitor & abuse. I feel like nurses calling is gonna be great on him but I could be wrong.
-
If you're being camped/tunneled, do whatever it takes to waste the killer's time: run decisive strike, abuse powerful loops, and struggle on hook for as long as possible.
If someone else is being tunneled/camped, do gens so their eventual death isn't in vain. 3 survivors working on separate gens can do 3 before the seconds phase of the sacrifice starts, and 2 more can be done by the time they die on hook.
-
I used to hate survivors with a passion. Like every pallet stun fueled my delusions that every survivor was toxic. But then I started to play survivor more, because red rank killer was so difficult. This led me to experience tons of toxicity from killers, which helped me sympathize with survivors. Plus as I got better at looping, so did I get better at countering loops as killer. Playing both sides is super eye opening on multiple levels. Playing one without the other is like driving a car with one hand exclusively; steering, shifting gears, and using the radio is certainly *possible* with one hand, but using both is better for obvious reasons.

So please don't use misinformation just because YOU don't care. Me neither, but it doesn't give me the right to say this kind of absurd matchmaking doesn't happen. It does...
I don't know what to tell you, bud. I'm rank 4 and never get any rank 16-20s unless they're buddies with another red rank survivor. The only reason you would need to see someone's rank is if you're thinking about lobby dodging, and with queue times being as long as they are, lobby dodging isn't healthy for the game.

you clearly don't play a lot of solo... matchmaking is totally f* up, and as a main solo survivor I'm used to be matched with every rank color in the rainbow. it's just ridiculous...
I play solo exclusively and don't care about who I'm matched with.

Theres a difference between a rank 1 and rank 20
True, but it's not like those two ranks would be matched together, unless swfs were involved.
-
I think that the bug just encourages lobby dodging. Rank doesn't equal skill, anyway.
-
Madness needs to have more dynamic effects than just some static, confusing skill checks, and hallucinations. Also, his shock range at base needs to be longer.
