I am debating between Fin ming, Meg or Nea.
Because, that neon bright hair color stuff drives me batty
I don’t mind it but fair enough
-
@JFF said:
Nea, because she's my least favorite survivor and she's also tied to my least favorite chapter.
Never been a fan of nurse or nea as well good choice

Dweard, not Dwight, just Dweard, basically a whole different character, Dwight but toxic to the max
I’ve noticed that as well. All of them are toxic to the core

Elodie, it'll do the community's ears a favour
It’s getting fixed soon but fair enough. I would love to play her but can’t right now for that reason

I’ve always associated ash with mothers dwelling. I guess because of the first film?
-
That’s fair she is too good at hiding
-
Nah I need my 1000 boldness points for totems okay
-
Scissorman from clock tower
-
Kate is also really quiet when injured
-
We are getting an MMR system soon so ranks will only be a BP incentive
-
Played with a Jane who had slippery meat and up the ante but didn’t attempt escape and went to second stage on first hook
I’m still trying to figure that one out
-
While I’m not 100% on this idea one of the reasons I loved apex and overwatch so much was the interactions between characters.
Would love to see voice acting for Quentin as I’m sure Kyle would come back
-
I’ve put over 800 hours in solo and it’s Okay. Sometimes I have some cool dudes who play well and other times I have people who have played 5 hours.
The worst part imo is how killers play. From my experience no matter what skill the survivors are the killers will sweat their ass off. What’s the point? This isn’t a competitive game and the ranking system doesn’t matter anyway.
Anytime I see a no obsession lobby I feel like disconnecting because I already know what’s going to happen. Killer will tunnel at 5 gens and we’ll all die.
Matchmaking gets significantly worse at later times and becomes futile to even win as you will get complete potatoes every game.
The randomness of it all can lead to very fun moments which keep me playing.
-
I use and like it a lot right now
-
It’s a hard status effect to balance as it is so integral to legion and to a lesser extent slinger.
If you add an effect to reduce survivor looping ability deathslinger becomes too oppressive in chase but legion barely gets effected
If you add extra slowdown it might become oppressive on legion(infinite mend flashbacks) but not very useful on slinger as he already struggles there

Almo was a little bit disrespectful, that was it. Yet people are absolutely slamming him, saying incredibly awful things, demanding he be fired and other nonsense and screeching like little brats and it's like my god people....
I mean the hypocrisy in the community is hilarious, they can dish it out but if anyone can't take anything back- it's those members of the community; not BHVR.
Yep almo got completely shafted by the community because he mad 1-2 kinda bad statement( in my opinion he was right about clown) but that’s absolutely no reason to completely disrespect him as a person.
I mean this was the same person who probably brought us blight and oni two fan favourite killers but nobody ever comments on that because that’s positivity and we can’t have that here
-
@Marigoria said:
No, he's still going to be boring to play as and go against.
Even as someone who loves playing clown he is a bore fest to fight similar to freddy
-
Cooldown or not I still love using the perk. I feel like the devs were playing it safe similar to how they did with any means nessacary. It will probably be buffed
-
I love deathslinger’s laugh when he hits someone

I hope they took the time to realize that and change it a round a bit, so instead of wasting 4 bottles for two types of tonics, you have a set of 4 bottles for each types of tonic
I’d rather they give him six bottles base kit and change the yellow capacity addon to something else
-
@CornHub said:
Way too many people are underestimating his new speed boost bottles. People fail to realize how strong a clown with better map pressure is.
His new bottles are okay but you have to understand that you are using one of you 4 shred pool of bottles to get a slight speed boost. Sure his reload is shorter but you will be going through bottles at an increased rate
-
Already main him and excited to see exhaustion bottles removed as well as a new power. From what I’ve seen it can use a buff but I’ll test for myself
Also got banging chase music so that’s a plus
-
If freddy’s main skill lied in keeping survivors asleep I would love that. I remember one of the reasons they changed doc was because of his madness being to easy to accumulate. Freddy literally has the same mechanic with survivors going asleep on their own. I want Freddy to have to be active to put survivors asleep.
-
I play 3 those being clown slinger and plague
-
Don’t want to name anyone in particular but after some pretty bad balancing decisions people decided to attack them personally instead of attack the choices they were making.
This community can be brutal hence why the devs are so scared to communicate with us
-
I’ve won so many games at 1 gen because one survivor messed up it’s insane. Never give up!

I love getting demolished by really good wraiths as it shows their dedication to an underperforming character. I do the same with clown

I actually laughed out loud at Huntress.
...have you forgot about Julie Legion? They usually are the best players, they never camp or tunnel, they don’t have game chat because they play on console and they are smart and nice people.
(that’s me)
Never really meet julies but from my experience similar to frank they have all, tier 1 perks and bad load outs and will 90% of the time miss their frenzy

@Zozzy said:
The solution is easy and makes sense.
1 survivor = 80s
2 survivor = 60s
3 survivor = 40s
and 4 survivor = 30s.
But nah.. this requires changing a line of code so....
All this would do is make survivors split up on gens more often. That would cause it to be even more frustrating as 3 gens would get done first chase more commonly
-
While prove thyself is pretty good they have to sacrifice one of their second chance perks to have it. You also need two survivors on a gen at once. Usually it is way more efficient to split up as the killer can only pressure one of you at a time.
Imo they shoulb
d make maps around the size of coal tower/ saloon as this makes it easier to patrol and pressure gens and causes more interaction between both sides

Unfortunately I've seen people have no clue how to play against him. They don't leave his terror radius. And at loops they won't pre drop a pallet or vault early then have no clue why they can't vault or drop.
He’s honestly quite balanced but very good against inexperienced players

Honestly, I don't think I have a specific build. Sometimes I run one of those perks. Sometimes I do not. It depends.
That’s fair. One of Freddie’s strengths is his versatility so most builds work well on him.
-
I like him because there is a lot of outplay opportunities for both sides and his power has clear counterplay(lockers)
Freddy you can stay awake but eventually you will be chased asleep and you will have 8 snares spammed at a loop without a penalty on Freddie’s side
I might as well unplug my moniter against a good spirit and save us both the trouble
-
I’ve had no problem personally

So long as your not a ruin undying or pop corrupt Freddy your good inn my book!

I run bond AND better together, they have different purposes.
I only have space for one aura perk in my build so I go with bond but they could work together

A lot of onis run thrilling instead but it’s always one of the two anyway

I will literally let all 4 survivors live even if they Boop my Snoot at 4-5 gens to go. I’ll just stealth around the map racking up grabs or ambushes for fun, accumulate 4 stacks of BBQ and then get more Boops at the exit gate before parting ways.
Always down for laidback games when they show up.
🐷👈
I love laidback killers you guys make solo a bit more bearable!
Boop the snoot still isn’t funny though

I don't think information perks are crutches, and that goes for both sides, so I don't see how Tinkerer is a crutch perk. Spine Chill predominately acts as an information perk, and second-most as a vaulting perk
You can argue on the killer's side regression perks like Corrupt, Pop, Ruin, are crutch perks as killers often rely on these to win games
Every perk by definition is a crutch perk. It has some sort of value to you, whether it be for meme purposes or for useful purposes. But they serve some sort of purpose to you throughout the game and subsequently are crutches. Going perkless and add-onless is the only way to not have a crutch.
I chose those two because I fell you would get comfortable with having them on. If I have tinkerer on I won’t have to patrol gens as much since it will tell me. If I have spine chill I don’t have to keep an eye out anymore. You can get used to this and then really struggle to take them off
-
That would be cool. Instead of the chase music just ending it would have a climax. You could even add a more depressing part if the survivor escapes

I dunno, when the skill match up is fair she is actually one of the most fun killers to play both as and against.
The problem is DBD has never had good matchmaking or ranking, and Nurse since she bypasses like all the mechanics can always get better and better; but the matchups never really get better.
When you get like a 5000 hour nurse main and you are in solo queue though....the match is just not possible to win. It feels pointless to even play; and yet people will make fun of you if that person is a streamer and you ######### on hook like "Oh he totally could have turned that around!" NO, he couldn't haha. The game was over when everyone was slugged and just crawling around the damn floor at 4 gens remaining.
I like nurse. I play as and against her a lot and most of the time it is enjoyable. Most nurses are really bad because she is is hard, and I get that, I don't think she is unfair but you can't even discuss her without tilting nurse mains because they think you are somehow insulting them and saying they are unskilled or that the character did all the work, or that she needs a nerf and neither of those things are the case- you just want the matchups to actually be one that's fair and fun for everyone involved.
My main problem with nurse is that survivors really can’t do much about a good one. This is why I like billy doc and blight so much as both sides can outplay each other. With nurse as long as she can see, hear or predict you your dead. Not to mention her synergy with perks like knockout and infectious fright

How is tinkerer a crutch?
You don’t need to rely on your own game sense when a perk tells you what gen is almost done
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Nurse one is pretty spot on. Hell ever look at a nurse mains profile or youtube or such? It usually is just bragging about their nurse experience haha.
Nurse can also be a nightmare to play against when you are good at them; but a nurse main will never admit that or that when they are just chain downing everyone as they keep trying to recover at 5 gens is a fun experience for survivors.
Not the biggest fan of nurse period honestly. She just breaks the game and all mechanics for chasing
