My boy finally has his time to shine
-
Well guess killer is off the menu for me

So zombies working as intended.
Thanks for confirming that.
They shouldn’t give you a free down when a free hit is already enough. Anyway why would these be the only damaging attack to not give no collision?

Then you messed up and deserve to go down, which goes back to what i said: Don't get cornered. pay attention to something other than 'do i hear a heartbeat?'. Adapt to there being hazards aside from the Killer. If zombies get nerfed any more it'll just lead to BHVR assuming people don't like interactive elements and we'll never get anything interesting again.
I’m not going to hear a zombie over his chase music plus the map is so enclosed that sometimes you have to take a route with a zombie. This means you’ll be killed immediately all because nemesis got lucky
-
@FrndlyChnswSalzmn said:
Disagree. Don't get cornered. Pay attention. use your eyes and ears.
But what if he’s in a doorway on lery’s and nemesis is behind you?
-
They did actually announce they had plans for mori’s but never specified when similar to keys. I do agree it is taking too long though
-
Perk rework for remember me
Every time you hit your obsession you gain a token up to 4 tokens. Every time a survivor let’s go of an exit gate switch the gate will be blocked for 15 seconds. During this time it will lose 50% of it’s total progress and consume 1 token
-
@Tsulan said:
So yesterday almost every match was against Nemesis.
But today: Blight, Freddy, Blight, Bubba, Nurse, Spirit, Spirit, Billy and Trickster.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Just people not willing to put time in to learn a new killer. With about 25 available most have settled into 1 or 2 already and don’t want to change
-
Well guess i ain’t playing killer for awhile
-
The best chaser in the game is nurse no questions asked. Why bounce against 2 walls to get a hit when walls might as well not exist?
-
It could work but it would probably have to be a separate set only unlocked at P3. Still would love to see a bloody Johnathan
-
Map rng makes the game balanced in the sense that either side can get a huge advantage

Why should every killer get nerfed. Like seriously it's kinda stupid... clowns exhaustion addons weren't fair as missing a bottle/smoke was impossible, hitting hatchets takes something of skill.
Yes but hitting a hatchet is already rewarding enough. Having exhaustion on them is just dumb
It’s why I want all of them removed but her’s and pigs are seemingly exceptions
-
He seems pretty strong but has the same issue as PH being holding W against him
-
Not to mention on rare occasions distortion can be used against lethal pursuer. There is no real counter to whispers

Can you explain this please
So new Franklin’s drains charges right?
Let’s say they have a green medkit that has 16 charges. If that’s left on the ground and let’s say loses 6 charges that medkit can’t get a heal off
Same goes for toolboxes, maps, flashlights and somewhat keys but only the aura reading
-
Against everything but keys Franklin’s has become better
-

And they're paranoid to change her.
Yeah even thought it would be for the better since fixing her hitboxes would allow for more skilled huntress’s to hit more precise shots.
When slinger and trickster’s hitboxes are good I don’t see why huntress gets a free pass because they tried to fix them once and it failed
-
@WishIcouldmain said:
Half the devs are Huntress mains.
Yep and that’s because she’s perfectly balanced/s
-
You can’t really base it on height since that could get out of hand quickly. For example trapper might need extra pallet break speed but it could make doctor too good
Having default stats is fine but I think they could tweak terror radius’s a bit more. Give pig her 28m one back
-
Me using distortion :)

Huntress addons are fine.
But why does huntress get to keep her exhaustion add on when demo, clown and doc all got theirs removed?
Not to mention poor billy got both his charge time and cooldown add ons removed while huntress keeps both.
Not sure how good flight speed are but they seem okay
-
Yep her hitbox is outdated for the current state of the game but nah let’s just changed her add ons slightly without even removing one of her problematic ones
-
Do you expect to 4k every match with a killer you’re still learning? If so you need to change your mindset
-
Tentacle strike is very well balanced chase power and is very fun to fight
Zombies are kinda annoying and just a nuisance on indoor maps
-
Nurse on the game where everyone was down in exactly 120 seconds. Fun match :(
-
I don’t see anyone complaining about him so I think we’re fine tbh
-
Tbh your average Reddit killer would find this very fair
-
Okay so in terms of perks both sides didn’t get much tbh. BTB and resurgence will never be used and blast mine and flash bang aren’t good either. Counterforce could be decent but then again so is lethal pursuer.
Demo add on nerf make perfect sense to me. There’s no reason why a yellow and a brown should do so much for you and they made all other add ons obsolete and probably still will tbh
Frsnklins nerf is probably more so for event items since nobody likes having them completely destroyed because the killer was being scummy
-
It makes them able to be injured by his tentacle. Pretty important if you ask me
-
Honestly the map being disabled is a good thing imo.
-
I gotta agree. He’s definitely not OP or anything but this add on needs a change. But apparently a bunch of people who don’t even use it think it should stay

I actually have to agree. Lost a Survivor? Throw down an Antidote. Just hooked someone and want to know if somebody is waiting close by? Throw down an Antidote.
Yep I can confirm that. Completely invalidates tatoo’s finger too
-
Nah he seems like PH in terms of looping and zombies are too rng reliant to be good
-

They aren't, but like I said, it's the principle.
BHVR nerfed Franklin's, the literal one counter to Keys, and nerfed Demogorgon.
Also Blight.
They could've done literally anything else. Nothing needed to be changed about them.
Blight wasn’t meant to be able to flick so much I’m pretty sure
Demo was more a rebalance than a straight nerf
Franklins is practically the same since the key that would’ve been destroyed will now have no charges and be unable to open hatch
-

They weren't oppressive, they were just good.
They were just must haves though compared to his other add ons.
Not like they’re trash now anyway
-
Yep all the music in this game is top notch especially deathslinger’s imo
-
We did just get this recently tbf
-
Tinkerer is one of the few crutch perks imo. It’s pretty clear some killers especially some blights rely on it to pressure gens

Describing a good Nurse.
Yes and good nurse can be complete stomps especially with IF or against solos

Those things are not related, though.
To an extent they are. A god nurse would be a nurse that doesn’t really make any mistakes therefor having no counterplay
A death squad is a group of 4 really good survivors with the sole objective of winning as quickly as possible. Therefor having little counterplay
-

"God Nurse" implies infallible. All Nurses can be ran. Unless external applications are involved a player cannot guess correctly 100% of the time.
I believe there's enough evidence to prove survivors can complete their objective far faster than the killer.
A god nurse more so implies a nurse who will consistently hit blinks and have very strong predictions since they have played so long. I’m not denying they’re rare but they do exist.
That totally depends on the killer being used but for the majority I’d agree but nurse spirit and hag can all definitely compete
-
Yep I’m going to use it and have all my stacks destroyed by undying and BBQ :(
-
Yeah I’d say this is the best state it’s been in for a while. We finally got a good battle pass, The next chapter looks decent (though I’m not too excited for it myself) and overall balance is very good at least compared to what it was before
-
@Mr_K said:
Keep distance
Keep her guessing
God Nurses don't exists. It's an excuse for those that don't try.
Every action she takes is televised. When she charges a blink, when she is blinking, and where she is blinking.
You may think you are being unpredictable but are more than likely running the same way as any other survivor.
Best way to play against a Nurse is know how she plays. Taking that knowledge and applying it to your movements and position.
If god nurses don’t exist then surely 4 man death squads don’t either yes?
-
Hag isn’t a lot of fun to fight tbh. Her only counters are crouching and an item and she’s fundamentally designed to not chase survivors which is the only really fun thing about playing survivor

I wish I could find my old posts, but I’m lazy and gave up.
I have done a complete 180 on Twins. Sure the first week I was having fun like most players, and expressed as such. Then I quickly HATED the Twins, thinking they were the WORST designed killer to ever be added, and I wasn’t shy about expressing that on these forums.
In fact I was very rude, which I’m embarrassed about now.
For some strange, masochistic reason though I didn’t drop Twins entirely. Like some sort of self punishment. Over the months I’ve played them for longer and longer stretches, from 1 match at a time, to exclusively for days on end.
And wow, I really love them now, and have a lot of success with them now, without the common scummy camping or mass slugging, EXCEPT where grouped up survivors basically make it too easy for me to ignore, making me an idiot if I didn’t.
I’d temporarily forgotten my own mantra that it takes my mths for new killers to come into their own and have their potential realised. Twins reminded me of this mindset. They’re a very deep, clever, well designed asset to DBD, with some smart nuances.
Yeah I feel the exact same. While I don’t play them personally I went from thinking they were horribly designed to realising they are actually kinda well designed but just need a specific playstyle from both sides

Even when hitting, some SWF teams know exactly how to invalidate getting hit after being speared.
I feel like that only works if the slinger doesn’t move backwards. If he does the survivor can’t really move and other survivors can’t catch up to bodyblock
-
The twins definitely have potential to be good outside of camping and tunnelling and can even be okay without overly slugging
Id take a twins over a nurse or spirit anyday
-
Deathbound having a distance requirement can be used to your advantage since those survivors will now stick together giving you the opportunity to pressure two survivors since you get a general location
