Many of the instadown killers have requirements to use their powers @just_a_noob . Myers requires you be in Tier 3, Hillbilly and Leatherface require that you have time to rev the chainsaw and then hit the survivor, Ghostface requires a survivor to have already been stalked. With NOED these killers no longer need to do anything special so they can instadown with just a standard smack that's why they use it.

I love how Killers think they better than survivors. Like u think you're the best because you killed 4 survivors...ok but you CAMPED! F*ck that sorry excuse that it's 4 to one. When I pay killer I beat 4 survivors without camping or tunneling so what's the excuse! Here's some advice for you "think you better" Killers... Step your game up, because your lame. You Killers can talk in this discussion all you want, it still won't change the fact that you're sorry. You beat us, ok cool. But you did it desperately. You still lost in the end.
Some people say the killers are entitled. Other people say the survivors are entitled. The truth is, we're all human and nobody is perfect and since people would reject the message that we're all good I say we all suck.

What if there was a way to watch your previous games? there are several games that already have this and its really nice, especially if you wanna make montages and stuff like that.
This would also help players analyze what happened in the game and why, thus making them better in the long run.
I know this game has a lot of problems that need to be fixed before they implement this but its just an idea.
If you are referring to a "Record Game" button Nvidia Shadowplay is a thing but any quality video chews through storage space.

Quite frankly, I'm sick of seeing all the complaining from killer mains an survivor mains. I play both equally. There are plenty of issues on both sides but more so with mechanics not perks. I love killer an survivor it's hard an fun on both ends I never use ruin or noed. Why use a perk that can be stopped. Just right there your trash. As killer my top 3 are Freddy. Plague. Pig. In that order I use overcharge an pop goes the weasel for my slow the game perks an just because it's an amazing perk add DYING LIGHT. Right there your already a force to be reckoned with. 3 perks for the actual game an the 4th should just be your all time favorite. Blood Warden, Franklin's, even Surge is a dope perk. Come on guys/girls. Your not gonna win every game. Have fun with what you got. Now let's address a real issue. HIT BOXES are insane if I vault a window why am I being hit after I'm 3 feet from the window
You. I like you.

Or cosmetics? You guys are clearly screwing killers via match making, ruin changes etc. Why should i care about your paychecks if you guys dont care about killers time?
Before any of you survivors come in allow me to retort to everything you are going to say.
"Get good" i would if the game was enjoyable instead i get broken match making with annoying survivors who can find everyloop and pallet drop. As well as first two gens are done so fast it really doesn't make any sense.
"Gen rushing isnt a thing" yea okay. Neither is camping or tunneling. Its "playing my objective"
"Noed promotes bad gameplay" noed is easily counterable as well as can be stopped. Tell me how i can stop ds locker jumping and the 60 sec cd. Or survivors who hide under the hooked survivor where i cant hit them. Or bt. Or sprint burst. Or any of your second chance perks.
"Swf is fine" if youre a survivor yes. If youre a killer. Fk no.
"Just apply pressure" okay! Let me split myself to 4 and be every where at once.
"3 gen them" yea. Because the game doesnt become longer and more boring for both parties!
"2k and 2 escape is fine" i agree..unless you want to pip.
"Ranks are useless." I cant agree more with how broken and mixmatched matchmaking is.
So whats the point in caring about the devs paycheck if the devs arent caring about killer mains?
I'm sorry, what exactly has Behaviour done that is bad for killer time? I played the PTB. Changes looked great to me and I play both roles. Could you elaborate on your issues? From what I read you just responded to a bunch of quotes you expected people to use.

Let Survivors Go.
No seriously, when you're not under the pressure of gen speed, chase, pallet/window loop, and not aiming for tryhard 4K, killer game is much more fun for killer, just messing around with survivors, get couple of hooks and you'll have tons of bloodpoints.
You were real close, but the better answer isn't "Let Survivors Go." It's "Let It Go" once you stop being so concerned with the outcome of the trial triumphs are pleasant surprises and defeats are less about losing and more about figuring out what didn't work.
This saying also works for survivors as well, though that is admittedly an easier role.
-
There are no stats to view really. The physical properties of killers and survivors remain constant unless a specific perk is being used. Even then the changes induced by the perk are trial specific. So "leveling up" does not increase the base stats of any given character it simply opens up more doors for strategies to choose from.
-
I know that killer games tend to be either really fun or really bad. As a person who has had both and seen my fair share of toxic survivors I must say that toxic survivors are truly braindead.
After all, if everyone left is playing survivor, no one is.
-
I chase after whatever's moving honestly. Including that patch of grass over there. *Roars and charges into the grass*
-
Oni's Armor footsteps make me think I'm the Terminator so that's a plus. Besides, I have been wanting a blood sucking killer for years so this is right up my alley.
-
Stack it with Infectious Fright, it's real fun for most of the cast there, ngl.
-
The new Lery's map is perfect. It has been brought up to speed with other indoor maps with glowing signs/lights near gens. This means that it will be easier to find generators. Furthermore the new aesthetic is very good and makes the map at least 2x as scary.

Except for every 4 survivors there NEEDS to be 1 killer. Say there's currently 800 survivors / 150 killers at the moment (random numbers). That's 150 matches going on at any time with 200 survivors waiting for the next killer to pop up. More survivors won't cause any more matches to go on, and increase wait time for the rest of the 800 survivors. Taking out a single killer will cause 4 more survivors to have a wait.
I know, but from where I'm looking the community is about 50/50. So I don't see a problem if some folks switch to get us to the 80% 20% ratio we need.
-
I mean, it takes 4 survivor players and only 1 killer player to fill a lobby. So if survivors are having more fun and a more enjoyable role, that should mean more matches. Ergo, a good change?

Here's the thing, the new Hex: Ruin will regress and DOUBLE the REGRESSION speed of generators are not being worked on.
However, this buff is actually rather weak since survivors usually split up. So, if the game starts and 4 survivors start working on 4 different generators (a standard start) the killer is still pretty screwed.
Here's why this is a problem, suppose the OG boy, the Trapper is the killer. He finds and begins chasing one survivor shortly after the trial starts, maybe he trapped a loop or two on his way to the generator. Now 1 of the 4 generators is not being repaired. This generator is now regressing at double speed. Cool, cool. However, the other three generators are now going full steam ahead since they are not getting regressed at all and those survivors have no reason to stop repairs assuming the first one found is a competent looper. So if the survivors play smart, your perk, a HEX mind you, is now worthless.
So going forward, time to "git gud" folks as downing and hooking survivors is the only real way to slow down gen repairs now. I will expect a sudden surge in Pig Mains (followed by a RBT nerf) and an sharp spike in NOED use (followed by a sudden change for that as well.)
(Don't get me wrong, I think that the change isn't their worst perk gutting or killer gutting (Shudders in Year of the Hound event. I also agree that the skill check regression needed to change if we want to have more survivors available. I just wish that the devs had gone about the change differently.)

The Iridescent Head hardly needd to be concerned.
If used alone, it's a single insta down hatchet that could always miss and need to be restocked immediately.
If used with belts so there are multiple hatchets, just bait throws and dodge 'em.
The interaction between an Iridescent Head Huntress and a survivor is purely skill based.
If the survivor is a superior hatchet dodger they will win the encounter as the Huntress will be forced to either melee with 110% speed or restock and try again. (During the restock the survivor can either use stealth to lose the Huntress or simply run to the far end of the map for distance.)
If the Huntress has superior power understanding and good prediction skills they are rewarded for their experience with an insta down.
-
I like Huntress personally, if you look slightly upwards you can throw hatchets over debris loops and completely shut down cocky survivors.

I know that, it's just survivors can abuse the looping to the point that you can't catch them. Plus the nerf to nurse and spirit is crappy.
Each killer has a way to counter loops, no exceptions. If you are having trouble with loops you merely need to practice more.

Damn, basekit BBQ bloodpoints might actually increase the amount of killers in the game and solve the MM issues. Genius.
Well, for consoles, anyhow. On PC the game would break then.
-
NA EST PC player here, I have stopped playing from burnout. I like the game, but I can only be the one random purple rank player in matches full of greens and yellows so much.
I've switched to Mordhau for now and I'm having a blast.
-
In all seriousness, most of the challenges weren't that bad. Except "Dark Senses", if a challenge requires you to pray that your teammates are worthless it's not a good challenge.
It's also the only challenge I never got besides "Last Minute Hero".
-
When the gates are open as long as my teammates are safe I am safe. Though I will also always attempt an unhook if there is a chance of escape for my ally.
"Survivors, prepare for glory!"
-
A maskless killer cosmetic would be a good addition to the game as it would enable more customization while also adding additional horror.
Seeing a human turned beast is sure to prove mildly frightening for some folks.
-
The immersive play style is objectively the worst.
Since the survivor is not found they do not buy their allies time. Additionally, since they hide whenever the killer is nearby they are often not helping allies with generators even when it is safe and usually lack the speed or courage to go for hook saves. In other words, they are a worse version of a gen jockey.
However, they are even worse for killers since their constant paranoia makes them very hard to find. If you have 2 paranoid survivors in the worst case scenario you might spend upwards of 10 minutes looking for the 2 last survivors.

Claudette as a botanist is a skilled healer among the group. Jake is a natural survivor who can help navigate terrain with ease.
Between the two you'll be hard pressed to find more trustworthy allies.

Now that I finally have Oni, I really like him and plan on using Enduring, Brutal Strength, Bamboozle, and Fire Up.

If you are referring to cheaper misc boxes, no.

You fool, get your priorities straight, Clown needs even more jiggle physics.
That's a strange way to spell Jane's butt.
-
@Perelie I know what when I play killer or survivor if I see someone that is a rank 20 or acting like one I will usually go easier on them. I do this because usually they are new to the game and I don't want push away new players.
The more the merrier, after all.
-
Wouldn't it be Feliz Navidad, then?
-
You know your Jake main stereotypes? Yui is basically just the female version of Jake.
-
If you are slugged and the killer is searching for the last person, the best you can do is try to get into the BBQ and Chili range of where the last person will be hooked before they are hooked. Then, hide as best you can, despite the moaning.
Sure, it's time consuming as all hell, but if you succeed you can deny the killer a double pip because they failed to kill everyone themselves.
-
Personally, my favorite is when someone without DS is branded the Obsession and they get tunneled to death for doing absolutely nothing wrong.
-
If you want to hide auras you are infinitely better off using Distortion from Jeff. Sure, it has limited uses, but the idea is that you use it to find what aura perks the killer is running and then use game sense to avoid aura reads for the rest of the trial.
-
If we're talking Pig changes I'd love to help her get some more Saw imagery and music. Honestly right now if it weren't for the Jigsaw Boxes I'd think she's some kind of rabid furry.
In terms of aesthetic changes please get this girl her own chase music, probably Hello Zepp. I know folks want her to have that music play for the active traps but that seems like an unlikely event.
Additionally I'd advise that her "roar" be changed to play only when the bar is full and if possible have different audio. You could double down on the Pig aspect and have a load squeal or maybe just have Amanda shout anything other than a random out of place lion. If you insist on the existence of an early warning then have her inhale at the start of the channel. That way skilled players will hear the inhale and run. The ones that don't listen will get the late warning, the roar.
As much as it would make sense lore wise for the RBTs to be cruel and only show auras once activated such a change would encourage gen rushing/faster games which is what she was placed in the game to prevent. Personally, I'd suggest that disarmed traps become items that the Pig can retrieve at the base of a box that someone escaped from. She can then regain traps that were disarmed to use again. Furthermore, survivors with saboteur can choose to sabotage the dropped trap to prevent re-use if they please. If a survivor actually dies to a trap then that trap will be lost.
I imagine that her add-ons might need tweaking as well but I barely see Pigs enough to know what they do or how to change them.
-
Like real talk here, isn't one of the new survivor perks here a hard counter? Lucky Break stops all bleeding so wouldn't that deny bloodorbs?
-
@susto I know how you feel, I was a old Legion main, still a Legion main. It's just not the same.
-
All I have to contribute here is to say that a community tier list site has moved nurse from top of A tier to the top of B tier.
-
You know one idea I had ages ago was a killer who's power/weapon was a submachine gun that fired Bloodpoints.
-
Christmas Sweaters are okay, though the Christmas Charm is what really caught my attention. A free survivor and killer cosmetic item to show your holiday spirit.
-
Guys good news Otz made a Legion vid. This will get the killer more attention!
https://youtu.be/oznQD8ZkMd4 -
Yeah well don't thank me yet, waiting 5 full seconds is pushing it. You're better off hiding at 3.
-
We have the Spooky Scary Skeleton Skins we will become common during Halloween, mark my words.
-
Okay, I would focus on Spinechill (Duh), Urban Evasion, Iron Will, and Quick and Quiet.
Use Spinechill to know when to hide. Iron Will if you get hit (try to avoid that.) Urban Evasion to sneak away (If Spinechill lights up for more than a 5 seconds slink away!) And Quick and Quiet for a hasty vault juke if the killer is close and you need to get out of sight.
Ultimately remember that your biggest concern should be avoiding the killer. You don't need to use the gates to escape, the hatch counts. I know, I got it with hatch.
