While someone else has probably already said this: Fire Up is a more useless perk than Up The Ante. It lets you do everything "slightly" faster after all generators are done. Some say the bonus is so negligible that it is unnoticeable to the human eye.
-
You guys are going about this all wrong! Have WGLF give tokens for "Protection" and "Safe Unhook" score events. However, we need to add a feature to lose tokens after an unsafe hook event.
People really want the tokens, so if you punish them in tokens for farming, then they won't farm.
-
@Okuu46 I propose that the reason the developers have started promoting anti-tunnel gameplay due to a new upcoming perk. This new perk is called "Corrupt Intervention" may actually help killers make games longer then they are now if implemented correctly. Currently, members of the community have predicted that at tier 3 this perk will block the three farthest generators for up to 2 minutes. If this holds true then I see no problem with discouraging tunneling as it's no longer so essential to remove a survivor from the game (unless you run Dying Light, which is getting gutted thanks to new DS).
-
Are you aware of a perk called "Whispers" @deathsia ? I know I have gotten a cheeky locker grab or two with it.
-
@Orion @AlphaJackson You guys do know that Hangman's Trick affects how fast Bear Traps respawn, right?

Head to "Off Topic". Then look for "No Mither No Problem's Meme Disciples."

@MhhBurgers Look, I want as many people to enjoy Dead by Daylight as possible. However, adding in mechanics to help disabled players better enjoy this BHVR product might backfire in the community.
People already complain about NOED, and claim it's a crutch perk. I am genuinely worried about the impact of handicap mechanics and how the community will react to actual crutches appearing in game.
On the subject of the door buttons in reality, I wasn't saying that they needed to go, I was demonstrating that people will use handicaps they don't need just to benefit themselves.
I long to see the day a colorblind mode appears on Dead by Daylight and I eagerly await a full options menu. Until that day though the devs and community will be cautious to make any major changes to the game. (It took 2+ YEARS to get Decisive Strike reworked. Just imagine how long it will be before any handicaps take shape.)

I hope the plagues power is actually useful, it doesn’t seem that great right now.
*Survivor runs into cornfield*
Trapper: "Plague, flush 'em out!"
*Sprays vomit into the cornfield slowly moving left to right.*
-
Okay, @MhhBurgers Allow me to explain why the game regrettably cannot have handicap features for players with disabilities.
As I stated earlier, if handicap features were introduced to either side of the game they would be abused by "abled" players for an advantage.
I currently attend a college where I witness "abled" people using handicap measures for their own benefit. The easiest example to use is the door switch. On my campus we have the standard handicap "automatic door control" buttons at most entrances. I assure you that 90% of the people that use these entrances never open the door manually and they all just use the handicap button.
If people use handicap measures to open a door just because they can you can bet that people would enable colorblind or hearing impaired options so that they wouldn't need to listen too hard or look to hard.
So, let's say BHVR never adds handicap features. If you get upset at that then you're far too immature to be playing Dead by Daylight at all. It isn't BHVR's fault that you bought DBD. In the Age of Information you have every opportunity to research a product before buying it. With all of the /ttv's I see in my lobbies you can't tell me you had no way of seeing gameplay before purchasing Dead by Daylight.
As someone stated earlier, it's not our fault that you bought a lawnmower you can't use.
(I noticed your profile picture is now Legion @MhhBurgers please don't tell me you started this thread because you couldn't see scratch marks while Frenzing.)
-
Just imagine though, the killer loses sight of a fleeing survivor so she just freaking spews chunks in a jet of vomit and pans across the cornfield.
It's both beautiful and disgusting at the same time.

And now you know why she will be my new killer main. Spreading plague has always been an awesome mechanic for me no matter the game.
Since my username is Peasant, you can bet I will deliberately spend the whole trial plagued.

Perhaps at 12AM EST?

In addition to my earlier remark about the realm the new map is in there is another problem.
Ancient Babylonian architecture was colorful and intricate with different shades of blues and yellows.
From what we saw in the dev stream this "Babylonian Temple" looks more grey and gold. Honestly, after first seeing the map I thought we had an Incan or Mesoamerican killer (Large stone bricks and gold finishings.)
I'm not going to be too unhappy until I get a chance to see the new map in game, but I am definitely on-guard.
Here's an example of what I meant:

22.47 all the way to the 23.03 and it eats something like 12-15% (The counter already made some progress)
I guess it is going to be 2 minute which is great imo. I want to see the effect in game.
I agree completely. Most folks use Ruin to give them time to build momentum before it ultimately breaks. By using Corrupt Intervention you get some time to build momentum guaranteed. As an added bonus, it won't change skillcheck colors like Ruin does making the game slightly more colorblind friendly.

Honestly I don't think Behaviour should add in many more Licensed Killers.
They can only be bought with real money, so you can't use shards, they also lack cosmetic rights to these characters.
Overall, it seems that it's a lot of money to get the rights to a killer with all of one or two outfit choices and perks that are either revolutionary or sub par.
Not to mention that due to the lack of cosmetic options they can't make BHVR money is the cosmetic store.
Meanwhile, with original killers BHVR has all of the rights to them and can make as many cosmetics they want and they let dedicated players acquire the new content free of charge or with cash if they please.

Personally from what I've read and seen on stream She looks to be in a good place. She's not as strong as hillbilly or nurse I'd say but maybe on the same level as Spirit depending on how the sickness plays out on survivors in the game.
I just Hope she doesn't have any OP add ons, She probably will since a lot of killers rarest add ons are OP but for some strange reason people focus on add ons and will say her powers, not the add ons are OP and ask for her to be nerfed.
Yeah, honestly that's my primary concern with the new killer. Legion is a rather low mid tier killer but then you can slap some add-on on and now they are a skill-less Nurse.
While I imagine that there will be some OP add-ons, I hope those are the ones that become Ultra Rare.
-
I run Monitor and Abuse, Insidious, Enduring and Spirit's Fury on Legion.
I use a coin flip to decide whether or not I camp to keep it random. Then I wait until the person is unhooked and sprint around the corner in a Feral Frenzy.
It scares the heck out of people.
-
Just think of the Plague as the Splatoon killer and it's all green ink.
-
If you have to choose between Breakdown and Distortion I'd recommend Breakdown.
It's a solid perk that can save you from a hook campers wrath.

They're not close what drugs are you on? Hag is the 4th best killer almost as strong as Billy and Legion is towards the bottom. Legion can't even compare to Hag. But in terms of how they use their power, they're pretty similar but different in terms of which is more effective.
When I said that The Hag and The Legion were close I was referring to their stats.
Both have a 110% movement speed
Both excel at controlling generators
Both are superior in loops than most (Hag's Traps and Feral Frenzy)
-
The problem with Dead by Daylight catering to people with disabilities (color-blindness, and bad hearing to name a few.) Is that it is more than likely that people without the disabilities will use these features for selfish competitive gain.

I was thinking about unlocking him becouse he seems kinda easy too play, but i think im going for hag becouse of Ruin...
Legion and Hag are actually closer than you'd think. The difference is that Legion's power helps him make sure that NOBODY is lurking by his generators while the Hag's power helps her move around, provided survivors trigger the traps. Both killers excel at holding a position and denying repairs in an area.

Is legion a good killer? (honest question im kinda new)
Legion is an okay killer, honestly. They can be good when played right, just don't always expect lots of kills.

The killer is from Babylon.
Babylon was a desert kingdom in Mesopotamia in the middle East (the Saudi-Iraqi border area).
New map is Babylonian temple.
Ancient Babylonian temple is in:
Pre-disaster Chernobyl Russia.

What if the perk was a Hex? Potentially, you could protect it and only have 4 generators for the entire trial to patrol. Additionally, if the survivors don't destroy the Hex, the 5th generator will be impossible to repair because it's blocked.
I know you killers aren't a fan of Hexes but wouldn't it be better than a few 30 seconds?
I'll gladly take a guaranteed amount of time over a Hex that MIGHT not get cleansed at all or cleansed immediately.
-
@ChesterTheMolester "A brilliant confluence of skill and purpose!"
-
My problem with Coldwind Farm isn't the cornfields, it's the blasted loop structures. Whoever had the idea to make see though loops was out of their gourd. It's not fun for either side as their are no mind games to be had.
-
Infectious Fright will buff Legion? Haha.
Infectious Fright on a T3 Myers will be absolutely absurd with the right perks.
-
Well I just looked back at the Shattered Bloodline spotlight and the showcase of Haunted Grounds worded the effect as lasting "for a short amount of time".
So I'm gonna give the developers the benefit of the doubt and assume that them saying a "few seconds" will be similarly scaled to "short amount of time". Perhaps not as much as we'd like, but close to the Haunted Grounds time?

Remember Me is really good on Legion, I've been able to juggle both Exits and stop them both from opening. I go to one Exit and FF them then go to the other Exit and FF them, hook one and then run all the way back to the other Exit and smack them down.
Some time after I made this guide I reached the red ranks and I put Surveillance in the "Choose your own perk slot". I now seem to almost always rank up as I prioritize controlling generators above everything else.
You want a free unhook? Go get it, I don't care.
You gonna run away to a loop? Okay, have fun!
You gonna touch my generators? LEGION GONNA GIVE IT TO YA.
-
@fluffybunny My guess is that, for lack of better wording, the Plague will be the Splatoon killer. Since she can infect survivors through objects I can just imagine Plague players puking EVERYWHERE just to maximize the chances of infection.
-
While I'm most interested in Corrupt Intervention and Dark Devotion I can't help but wonder what nightmares Infectious Fright will create with a T3 Myers, or maybe just Legion?
-
This is the meme thread, what did you honestly expect?
-
Hillbilly's greatest weakness is looping. He can run super fast in the open, but once he's faced with a loop he's just another M1 killer.
-
The way I see it, the Legion is better at applying pressure on generators while the Spirit is better at applying pressure in chases.
-
Legion is a good killer. They have a lot of power and are fairly punished for this power by having a base speed of 110%.
I'm working on a fleshed out guide to playing Legion so I have to keep this brief, but Feral Frenzy is the definitive generator pressure killer. Most killers find a survivor and maybe get to use their power and commit to a chase. This lets anyone lurking nearby to work on the generator unhindered while you chase Sir or Madam loopsalot for a while.
Legion has none of that nonsense.
With Killer Instinct they know if someone is lurking nearby and they will find them and hurt them. Plus, Deep Wounds forces survivors to leave the generator or be downed.
As an added bonus, after chasing everyone off of a generator the Legion can vault pallets and ruthlessly track a target with Deep Wounds to force a down. No pallets or vaults can stop the Legion and they have some free time at the chase's start where everyone else is mending so he can commit to the chase.
Yet, as long as everyone heals and splits up this is considerably harder to do.
-
@Mushwin Hillbilly has several counters to his terrifying saw power. The largest counter however, is looping. Sure he can run across the map is certain areas, but 9/10 times once he arrives he can't do jack diddly to actually catch survivors without wasting time at loops while the engineers now on the other side of the map get down to business.
-
Personally I just want a mori animation for the Nurse that goes like this:
She looks at you on the ground and tosses her bone saw to the ground next to you and blinks off.
Then a second later she blinks back with a pallet and just starts wailing on you with it.
She hits you for 3 or 4 seconds with it probably, then it breaks.
She then calmly picks up her bone saw and the player once again controls the Nurse.
-
I was playing as Legion and I just hid near a hooked survivior with Insidious. I waited until they were unhooked and then came charging in swinging madly. Apparently I scared some folks, so it's a win for me.
