Only of your that desperate for the additional 5 seconds to get max out the remember me perkbrokedownpalace said:Remember Me is at least good because it encourages letting the survivor go after unhooked so they can heal up. Dying Light is a poorly designed perk. If you're caught early as the obsession you get camped or tunneled into oblivion. If you're caught late or not at all then the killer wasted an entire perk slot.
you get 5 hits on a tunnel! Does that one extra hit really prevent tunnelling? -
1.Killers should have a toggle to pick play with SWF groups or not! Let them sit there till they get a lobby with a killer who doesn’t mind playing against them.
2. Introduce a perk limiter so they can’t have more than 1 instance of the same perk in play in any one game.
3. Killers get extra perk slots for SWF groups

There’s hills? What? I never seen one! Where are they hiding them?Boss said:There's stuff like this...
Then there's the devs insisting on keeping Totems on hills.
Idc how hidden you keep them on hills, as long as players know they can spawn on hills, they'll search them.
And hills are hard to miss.
killers should be able to place their own totems, like traps! There’s no reason this shouldn’t be implemented as a standard part of game play -

Ahh yes because nothing screams fun like staring into a gen and pressing R1, ahhh such fun.Treetopthahomie said:I'm rank 1 survivor on PS4 and rank 5 killer it's completely bonkers that survivors can just do a whole gen in a couple minutes. Like why is the game like that killer should always have one up on survivors so that way the game can be played how it should, for fun not competitively. Or can they make it where survivors have to at least do one or 2 gens before being able to cleanse ruin kinda like how need doesn't come forth till the end game?
Its more fun being killer anyway, people stop having fun when they take it too seriously, and you have countless people who think their oppinion on how to play is the only way people should play.
Oh NOEDs for noobs

Its always been designed to be competitive, and fun is objective

I only play solo and this has not happened that much, I’ve not been left at all, and don’t get sandbagged either, there’s been a few matches where they’ve gone for the lantern and tried to hide out 5 gens, but I’ve yet to see any of those players escape.The_Crusader said:

That's compared to: The scoring is a little off.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder, I guess. I definitely don't remember it being universally loved, and in comparison I think the problems with this event are much smaller than the ones with the old event.
Have you played solo survivor? Pretty much everyone is complaining about being left on hooks to die or being sandbagged by fellow survivors or just not managing to win any games because nobody is doing gens.
Im just playing as normal and the coins are looking after themselves, to be fair most solo games I play I’m in it for myself, I won’t play risk, immersive all the way -

NOED is a perk made for players who are expecting to do badly so they can salvage a game at the last moment. I don't think that's an especially bad thing, it basically makes it the killer counterpart to Decisive Strike.Someone read the post for once. Yes its good for bad players and killers that need it which is OK. I consider it not OK if you for example you use nurse with NOED on top of bloodwarden and remember me. Its literal overkill ESPECIALLY if you already dominated the team before the last gen was even finished.
If you have all that to aid in your 4k it shows you're pretty sweaty for every possible kill. It seems a lot of people are just skimming through the post and leaving regurgitated comments.
Did you read my post by any chance? Because I did read your post all the way through and you didn't comment on mine like you have on quite a few others' responses. It's on the first page, close to the bottom if you missed it. I honestly want to know if you saw it at all. I hope you did since you've commented so many times on the post since then.TL/DR, my and a few people's problem with your post isn't even about your opinion on the perk but instead on you encouraging people to be toxic and treat each-other poorly because you don't like a perk they use.
You edited that part out and added a few exceptions and a comment at the end about the perk breeding toxicity when used by people who you believe don't need it, but your motivation is still clear as day in the post. You're not suggesting a change, you're not encouraging people not to rely on the perk or trying to suggest a more skillful alternative to them. You're calling them a noob, toxic, and in the way you typed the post the first time before rewording almost all of it, you called them garbage too. You're whining, and this entire post doesn't do anything besides add to the toxicity that you're blaming on killers using no-ed. Chastising people for playing in a way you don't like IS toxic.I've tried to re-read all of your original post, the edited version, and even my own original comment before I typed this, but I check the forums when I'm about to go to bed, so as before I'm tired. If I'm missing something here, please feel free to tell me.
The main post was re-worked because in a previous comment I stated it was created out of salt and anger.
I agree that the original post was also hypocritical at stating the perk breeds toxicity while also being toxic myself. The main idea of the post itself was to just rant about its existence and how certain individuals use the perk knowing full well its overkill on certain characters that do not need it.
Its like for example putting it on nurse, if you're already so good at demolishing the team why would you also need NOED on top of that? To rub salt in the wound or something? And before you say the [Insert just cleanse every dull totem] meme i'm FULLY aware of this... The perk itself is fine in the hands of those who really need it against better players, and killers that need to to apply some pressure end game since they couldn't at the start of middle of it.
I just consider it not to be ok when its used by people who clearly don't need it on killers that never SHOULD use it.
theres nothing better than NOED for
end game, it’s only survivors that let this perk work -
Fixing it how? Seriously what could they really implement to measure “skill” on an asymmetrical game, most games a pure chance and luck, a survivors skill can only be measured in comparison to the killers and vice versa.tt_ivi_99 said:
By fixing the rank system everyone would be playing with people of the same lvl of skill. Solo players would get the buffs they need and killers would also be buffed to combat all this good survivors.Paddy4583 said:TL:DR anyone?
This would open the possibility of giving solos some aura reading perks to be on match with SWF and as I already said killers would be buffed to be viable as well. Devs would also be forced to balance some pretty broken maps. -

The nerfs on survivor side haven’t really been any game changing ideas and only tried to equa the field. I play both sides and I can say that survivor is the easiest option by far. No pressure no stress, mistakes don’t normally come back to bite you in the ass.

I played it on my bf’s pc because he’s had it purchased from a long time ago and just wow. I’m actually amazed.
Super jealous with everything honestly! I noticed that as soon as I search for a lobby on pc it would immediately put me in one (for both killer and survivor) but when I do that on PS4 it takes me 5-10 minutes or more sometimes.

What happens if an offering is burnt for a map that is on everyone restricted list?Nickenzie said:Let's Relate Together!
Admit, you got the same map and you're getting tired of playing on it! It's annoying and you don't see as much variety since you're always on the same map! How do we fix this problem without creating more problems?Introducing "The Restriction System"
When you finish your latest game, the map you played that game on will be recorded (and you do not see this since this data is private to you but you can just memorize this). The map that is recorded will not be a possibility for the next game you play to prevent repetition!
This means up to 5 maps can be restricted due to being 5 players in every game. The minimum can be only a single map restricted due to everyone in your lobby previously played the same map.
An exception to the "Restriction System"
If at anytime a map offering is used, the restriction system will be ignored COMPLETELY. However, it will still be counted as your latest played map when you finish that game.Misconceptions
If you played The McMillian Estate map, you can still get The McMillan Estate map but you won't get the same variation.
Discuss! Hopefully, this can solve the repetition issues with some players!
The maps don’t bother me enough to warrant this being implemented and Incan see more problems with trying to control variations with players having individual restrictions -

One game I was being chased for about 2 gens by a Michael, when he caught me he stood at the hook and nodded his head and hit me, I never t-bagged or used flashlights to make him mad and he stood there and after a couple minutes a gen popped he didn’t care he stood there with me, someone came up to the hook he didn’t attempt to chase, so they left, then after one more gen someone came to try and save me and unhooked but obviously I couldn’t get away. Died before doing anything and he threw the game away for what reason? That happened in my last couple matches. I had more games where the killer only chased me all game, and the others weren’t even doing gens super fast, even with 3 gens left and me running past survivors on gens he ignored the ones doing gens and chased me. I wasn’t the obsession or anything. And these are higher ranked killers who should know to not chase one survivor too long. Most of them ended up not getting anyone for chasing me way too long
why would a killer throw the game away to get one person who’s not bming? I’m not trying to argue or stir up anything toxic I’m simply curious why a killer would stay with someone all game or chase one person all game who’s not taunting them in any way, especially more experienced killers who I can tell are very decent killers with their mind games and what not. Because it would give me something to show off.
I love my Wolf Mask for Huntress. Why? Because not everyone has it, and not everyone will EVER have it. That's the way current event skins should be.

Then again when I play killer its in the same ######### open spots as always.
I hate this event. Its really not fun for a solo player. I do so much of the work and get nothing for it.

Oh lord just play and move on to the next match, there is no way they should change it back it was totally unfair and renders the lamps pointless, may as well just give everyone 45 points for escaping.
This has been way more fun as a survivor for me, though not seen many games where people are just left on hook, but at the same tome they are preventing the killer from getting all their points too, by not unhooking so it’s not all bad to be left, plus you get the points for the gens while just hanging there -

You're [BAD WORD] hilarious.
Reading this entire comment section is a breath of fresh air, but I'm guessing people like you have to be in the opposition even though a crap ton of people in this comment section agreed with the OP.
"I think you just got to be in the "out" group. Whoever's on top, whoever's in power, whoever's successful, you gotta be on the other side or you don't feel like the smartest guy in the room. All you are, my dear, is a contrarian."
This defines people like yourself.
You forgot the people that agreed with me.
You can call a dog a "cat" as often as you want. But it will still be a dog.
Why on gods earth are you two even discussing the definition of a word? Like what kind of time waste is that? Who cares what exactly facecamping has meant back then, and what OP means with facecamping and if he is using the wrong term. I think it's pretty obvious that with facecamping OP means a killer that is camping a hooked survivor, standing right by him and not leaving the hook. Who cares if this isn't actually facecamping? Especially since the removal of facecamping didn't change a lot anyways. Doesn't really have anything to do what the OP was getting at.
Are you joking?
Back in the days you were actually able to secure a kill via camping. Nowadays you cant bodyblock away from the hook while survivors can bodyblock you from the hooking prompt. ALSO, nowdays they got BT, unhook invulnerability, swivel hooks AND the faster unhook animation
You can still just grab the survivor when he tries to unhook right in front of you
No you cant, thanks to bodyblockign and the new unhook animation that you can cancel instantly
Oh my god, multiple survivors just swarming the killer... sounds like you could hit the unhooker twice and OMG have someone else to camp its like playing DBD but the survivors come to you.
Wahoooooo!
Thank you, every time i comment about something killers do unfairly on these forums, i get attacked and told i'm an idiot (even though i play more killer than survivor). Like i get survivors used to be OP and SWF still is but that doesn't mean killers aren't OP in some aspects too. It's nice to see someone actually back me up for once in saying face camping is a low skilled strategy that may work, but it's boring and you only win by boring the survivors to death... literally.
Yea, like his whole argument is based on wanting one particular survivor dead, he doesn't care that if someone does come to save it makes it INCREDIBLY easy to get that person on the hook as a trade.
Killers like that are honestly the worst, they just want the first person they hook dead as soon as possible and doesn't matter if they can hook someone else for more points.
It's because it can be effective. Once one survivor is dead the killer will have more of an advantage. You can not fault people for using a tactic the devs have made viable. It's on the devs to make not camping more rewarding and camping and tunneling less rewarding.
Well then how come in the past when i have suggested to nerf unjustified camping and buff leaving the hook, people have attacked me with the good ol' cAmPiNg WaS iNtEnTiOnAl jUsT dOnT gEt CaUgHt
Cause some killers mains want their easier way to get kills kept in the game. As simple as that. Or maybe they fear that when nerfing camping killers will just suffer more from gen rush.
To me it's clear, rewarding non camping killers more and rewarding camping and tunneling campers less is not just a balance improvement, but a fundamental design improvement for the game that improves the experience of both sides for the majority of the player base.
Well i totally agree, so i wish people like @master and @Tsulan would stop claiming it's balanced
Quote me on where I call it balanced.
Stop putting words into my mouth.I think he said that because you and Master seem to be against any nerf to camping and changes that would reward killers more for not camping.
Face camping had to be removed, because there was no way around it. Face camping was removed by the devs. I only think it's wrong to call it face camping when it doesn't exist anymore.
I'm against camping but I know that sometimes it's a necessary evil. Something to slow the game down.
I'm against the BBQ nerf, because killers need a reason to leave the hook. But that reason should be voluntary and not because of punishment.
Camping is a desired strategy by the devs. Otherwise Insidious wouldn't exist.
I tried insidious a few times and find it utterly boring. So I usually don't commit to camping, but as any other killer, I get called out for it. Even when I use MYC or Devour Hope.
Again nothing removed, just added ability to unhook from all angles, how do you even know how to turn on an electronic devise and operate it, when you can’t even get your head round the term face camping?😂😂😂 -
