Base Nurse seems fine to me, so I can tentatively agree to looking at her add-ons.
-
No. Like RBTs, it's a killer power that does nothing if the survivors don't want it to.

Good luck reaching my post count, upvote count, downvote count, promote count (doesn't exist any more, just FYI), LOL count (also doesn't exist any more), and probably other stuff I don't even remember.

There is only one Forum King, and his name is Orion.

Yes. All TR effects are transferred with Dark Devotion.

Because a forum is a place specifically for discussion. If you don't want to take the time to discuss something then this isn't the place for you.
I could throw this BS back in your face too. Why should you be entitled to a down vote button if you don't want to have a discussion?
So ignore the downvotes.
Sweetie, I'm all for removing both the downvotes and upvotes. I said as much in my first reply in this thread. I'm just saying you're overreacting to something that is utterly meaningless.

If you don't have time to reply so what? Then don't reply. A button does nothing to help the conversation. I ignore posts all the time because I don't have the time/energy to reply. If I click a button it doesn't add anything to the conversation. I could do it for legit reasons because I don't agree and don't have time, OR I could do it because I just don't like the person and I want to troll. Without a reply there is no way for you to know.
If it doesn't add anything to the conversation, why are you freaking out about it?
-
@thesuicidefox said:

LOL what? What entitlement? All I'm asking for is for people to actually state reasons they disagree with a comment. Not to just click a button. They could legit disagree or they could be trolling. I have no way to know. And if they legit disagree, how am I to know what they disagree with or to what extent if they don't state the reason? They could maybe have disagreed with the entire comment or a single sentence. No way for me to know, and it doesn't promote discussion, it just shuts it down.
I definitely agree that downvoting by itself is meaningless, but if people don't bother to reply now, they wouldn't reply either way. At best, their replies would be meaningless. However, you seem to believe people should always take the time to reply to your comments, even if they don't want to. That's what I mean by entitlement.
I have more downvotes than anyone else on this forum, and yet my discussions have never been shut down by them. In fact, two of those discussions were recently resurrected from the depths of Forum Hell. Downvotes are meaningless.

If you disagree with me, then comment WHY. Clicking a button does nothing to help the discussion. Otherwise I have no idea if you actually disagree or if you are just trolling me.
If you don't have time to write a reply that's why we have drafts. You could always come back later when you have the time to reply.
PS. And just to spite you I went ahead and down voted your last 20 or so posts. Didn't have time to read them I just clicked the button ;)
See, your attitude and unwillingness to consider that you're not entitled to a reply make me think you're just projecting.

@Orion You have more downvotes than anyone else because whether some people agree with you or not, they just don't like your attitude and want to downvote for that. Which is part of why I agree that downvote is just invalid. If you can downvote someone cause you don't like how they said something even if you agree with what they said then what use is it? You're not going to change someone's personality by trying to hurt their feelings with downvotes you'll just encourage a shut down of discussion with that person. Who knows, maybe some people want to do that.
Nope. I just have some very dedicated stalkers. I honestly don't mind the downvotes. As I mentioned, I am now Forum King due to having maxed out everything. Without those stalkers, I wouldn't have been able to surpass Mushwin.

They should take a break from all the new chapters, and start addressing the issues on the bugs the game has, and release Dedicated Servers ALREADY!
Dedicated servers will come when they're ready. If they don't work properly, nobody will be able to play.

Jail restricts how frequently you can post, but you can still post. A ban is a ban.

@TheBean said:
@Orion however it works.. I'm not trying to be too technical.. if the killer has only 10 seconds before that slugged survivor died that would be a benefit to stopping the end game challenge.
but then there isn't anything stopping the killer from pinning the survivor in one area of the map, but if the gates open, then that survivor now has a chance to run out.
I'm just saying, that's what Peanits was suggesting.
-
@TheBean said:
I agree with Peanits here on this one... If they increased the bleedout timer to where the killer has no choice but to pick up and get the hook points... then it would help with ending the game.
Also I feel the gates should open after a certain time.. if the killer could secure that last survivor within 90 seconds.. then they risk losing that last survivor. But that is me.
Other way around. Increase the rate at which the timer progresses to shorten the time a survivor is slugged.

@AshleyWB said:
Someone down voted my post that's toxic.
Except it's not it's just opinion. But do you feel people's perception of toxicity contributes towards making the game more toxic? Especially with all the harassment and bullying that can happen when they are adamant you played unfairly or in a unsportsmanlike and toxic way.
Yes. Because their false perception of toxicity when it comes to legitimate tactics leads them to be toxic themselves. As you said, they harass and bully people for using legitimate tactics.
-
Here's the thing: I've been accused of toxicity just by playing the game normally and making optimal decisions (camping when all the survivors are near the hook, not rescuing when NOED is in effect and the totem can't be found, and so on).
There is definitely a toxicity issue, where people go out of their way to make sure everyone else has as bad a trial as possible, but some people just label everything they don't like as "toxic". If we were to focus on actual toxicity, we could have a better game for everyone.

What if the killer slugg and wait 4 min?
What if the survivor just hide for 4 min?
My point is, the game is over.
The killer win, because he killed the complete team and he found the hatch first.
And my point is, EGC sacrifice doesn't award as many BP as a real hook. The killer might have BBQ as well, or the survivor might have a key, like Peanits said. Hell, the gates might be on opposite sides of the map, which could lead to a survivor escape.
-
What if the killer is closing the hatch to try to find and hook the last survivor?

Sorry to be clear the grab was more of a comparison. Essentially you could only attack(for one health state) in situations where you COULD grab. Not a full blown grab. Just a regular attack out of stealth but only in grab situations.
With the way grabs are bugged, I have to say no. Even if they were working properly, survivors who're working on generators are constantly spinning their cameras 360º. This wouldn't be useful and would probably lead to a lot of whiffed hits thanks to DH.

I see that you just like to have your easy fourth kill. But this game is made for fun. And where the fun when one of the sides has almost no chance? But I see that you like to play with a huge advantage, right nurse mainer?
I don't play Nurse.
If the killer kills 3 survivors and ends up in a 1v1, that was the result of the killer's actions. The survivors didn't just hand themselves over to the killer.
Easy would be forcing the killer to open the gate for you and letting you go, since you won't stop skulking around the map otherwise. It also happens to be this suggestion you seem to be supporting.
What I like is an asymmetrical game where the numbers role isn't being made stronger as more of its members die. I like an asymmetrical game where the power role is actually rewarded for wiping out the numbers role, instead of giving second, third, fourth, nth chances to the individual members of the numbers role so they can 1v1 the power role. But hey, I get it. Asymmetrical games aren't for everyone. Not everyone understands that 1v1, the power role is supposed to crush you.
-
Attacking out of stealth, maybe, but it'd require a rework of his cloak. I personally thought this alone would make him top-tier, without the rework he received instead, but oh well.
Grabbing out of stealth, no way. This is effectively double damage on a killer with no TR and invisibility. It'd be broken beyond belief.
-
Maybe you should also make a bug report.
-
@Poweas See? That's how you should reply to a request from the Forum King.

Rancor counter MoM noed counter it also theres alot of counter also you have billy than counters it so theres not only 1 counter so im not wrong maybe you need to look perks that can counter MoM
None of those perks counter MoM unless you've never hit the survivor twice before. Hillbilly counters MoM if you can hit the chainsaw every single time - good survivors, however, can avoid the chainsaw.
EDIT: Oh, and I never said "camping" was the only counter, I said it was the only surefire counter. Meaning, a counter without any "ifs".

Theres alot of perks similar that you said that are in the game rancor counter MoM and you can see where they are, you have noed you have hex devaour hope haunted ground and you have mori, you know killers complain about this perk while theres alot of killer perks that are broken like enduring combine with spirit fury every killer that i faced have this and with billy hes a god so dont complain ok?
Answer the question, please, and stop the false comparisons.

Not everyone have second chance meta so youre going way too far this days its very ez to play as killer since the only killers that i see its billy and nurse and those soon they will have a nerf thst they needed
So if the devs introduced a killer perk that instantly killed all the survivors and maxed out their points, but it was only used by 1% of killers, would you say it's perfectly fine?
-
@Tru3Lemon said:
Do you guys realise why they implemented MoM its because this days killers tunnels and camp without any reason and MoM its not just too problematic its not powerful or weak i dont have any problems against ppl that have MoM
Hitting a survivor three times at any point during a trial is not "tunneling". As for "camping", it's the only surefire counter to MoM in the first place, so clearly you're wrong.

You should support killer buffs. If other killers rewarded skill like the Nurse, as opposed to having artificial skill ceilings, you'd see them more often.

This is the real reason Killer is easier. It's all you and your skill.
Survivors cannot survive alone they must rely on teammates whose quality is often questionable.
When I started Survivor it took me like 10 games before I could even escape.
When I played killer I got 4Ks in my second game.
MAybe at the highest ranks killer is harder,but I don't know anything about that.
@Mochan It's only you and your skill if you play the Nurse, and even then, you have to deal with bugs.

>the survivor should be at a major disadvantage.
Why? Because you want it so?
What if I play solo and the game gave me three potato teammates, why shouldn't I have a real last chance?
Right now, the only thing that can save the last survivor is the key. And I have a suggestion, one 🗝️ in one of the chests in every match.
No, because it's the nature of an asymmetrical game that a 1v1 should be advantageous for the power role.
You had plenty of chances. You could've equipped a build that doesn't rely on your teammates if you're worried about potato teammates. You could've located the hatch when you noticed they're all potatoes. You could've done plenty of things before you ended up in a 1v1 with the timer going.

How do we know the Hallowed Blight journal entries are from Benedict Baker again?
I recall it being some random person, not Vigo or Baker...
Because the devs confirmed it.
-
Why should the survivor have a good chance to escape in a 1v1 situation, after the killer wiped out the rest of their team? Is this an asymmetrical game or not?
-
So survivors can hold the game hostage indefinitely, forcing the killer to give them a free escape by opening a gate themselves? No, thank you. The solo survivor had plenty of chances up until that point. In a 1v1, the survivor should be at a major disadvantage.
-
@liquidlight said:
That's ridiculous. No single survivor deserves to die because their team sucked. Survivors are individuals, not a unit (though they can act like one but that changes nothing). And you can't adapt to some situations because they're basically impossible to overcome.
I went to sleep, came back, and this thread had grown by over 130 comments. Thus, I'm only gonna reply to this one.
Before the EGC, I would've agreed with you. However, right now, if their team sucks, they can prepare by locating the hatch while their stupid teammates die. They can also choose to run builds beforehand that do not rely on their teammates (which I definitely recommend). They can adapt. They no longer need to rely on their teammates for the hatch or even the gates.
-
If the killer couldn't close the hatch, it would just make the hatch a free escape for survivors once again.

Don't project the fact that you only play half the game onto me.
-
Blood Warden. If nothing else, just because it's been in the game longer than MoM.
-
I already suggested this, but I'm too lazy to go find the comment, so here's the TL;DR version:
Killer picked at random. No SWF or friends in the same lobby. Whoever is hooked becomes the next killer. Person with the least hooks performed on them, or with the most hooks performed by them, or some combination of the two, wins.
-
@prayer_survivor said:
This is not an asymmetrical game. Survs want same as you, have fun
How silly of us to think it's an asymmetrical game due to the fact that the two "teams" have a different number of players, different goals, and different mechanics.
