You weren't even toxic. That's how you play the game, and they are just entitled.

The bit where you don't see your ranks, not any time soon. That'll be once we are sure this system is working well and officially make the switch away from the old ranking system.
Related question. Is there any plans of adding a "recent matches" section to profiles, so you can track how well (and not well) you are doing?
-
Not much will change, you get called a potato for being in Red Rank anyways.

This should be a pinned topic.

Watch as I kill one survivor off quick, and proceed to take the next 2-3 hostage till I max my score.

This MMR is gonna call me a bad player for maxing all BP catagories, and then letting everyone go isn't it?
Guess i'll get more Mori's

You deserve to have your account reset with that Mori-insidious combo you got there, you're lucky it stopped at a depip :^)
Idk what you're talking about - that right there is top tier gaming :^)
-
Hey now, enough of that "Teaching them so they stop complaining". I won't be able to run Tier 1 NOED Clown if everyone starts knowing how to counter it.

Don't ruin your fun for them. But if sitting around for a couple minutes is something you find fun go for it.
Or teabag their head with Ghostface.

Yeah Waffle's right. I would throw some tonic's at them while they try to crawl away.

Entitled Survivors have this weird thing, where they think it's your job to ensure they have fun.
But it's not.
So to punish the survivors that were being toxic to you, you should slug the next group and then let them bleed out on the ground.
-
BHVR: Nerf's Killers biggest crutch perk
Killers: adapts
Survivors: God Killer's you're all too aggressive now, it's so toxic, please stop, I expect it to be your job to ensure I have fun, and you have to let me escape every time, even when I teabag you, and put my flashlight to mouse scroll so i'm clicking it in your ear while you chase me.
-
I saw a survivor moon walking last night though. I still don't know how to moonwalk, but with the updated - something or other - that supposedly makes it so you can't moonwalk. You still can. Or you have to do something different.
I didn't know how to moonwalk before as survivor, and I don't know how to now, but I see people doing it. So there is faith.

Is that really a bug, though? Haven't played him since this patch, but even before there was a delay when hand animation finished and snare has been placed (cca 1 second). Now the hand animation end seems to be synced with the snare placement from what I have seen in some streamers' games.
So the snare placement is the same only animation has changed.
That's a bug. A "bug" is unintended behavior of a program/game. It is un-intended that his animation is not in sync with placing his snare. Set's my OCD off every time I see it.
The good thing about it, is everything feels more fresh now that i'm not only running Freddy and am switching it up between Legion, Ghostface, and Clown.

Btw if you play the new Doctor compared to the previous Doctor, he is easier and faster to play, so he actually got an incredible buff. Yes they removed the idle madness generation so it's harder to find survivors, but that giant AOE shock - honestly doesn't make much of a difference. If you know a survivor is near, blast that once, and if you don't find anyone. Then you just check the lockers.
I mean don't check the lockers...
Also don't take Iron Maiden...
I'm not in the locker, you're in the locker...
And he can still cancel out loops with his shock. I am pretty sure that is apart of his base kit now. I don't know much about Doctor because I haven't played him till the update, but I was able to potato stomp 4 red ranks with only monitor and abuse at level 1, compared to before where I just ran around shocking people for a daily. I would say now he is too strong - please don't nerf.
The Hex: Ruin nerf was needed, as it skewed statistic's greatly. Sure it was good at keeping the bad survivors out of the high ranks, but it mostly just carried Killers through green/purple ranks. Creating the problem of too many Killers that were not good at the game getting into high ranks.
Now without Hex: Ruin we have too many unskilled survivors getting into high ranks (which also greatly skew's statistics), which hopefully will be remedied when they start reworking maps, and possibly with the toolbox fix (but honestly toolboxes are just a symptom of the issue, so it won't do much, but make players use less toolboxes).
As far as bug's go, there is a hotfix coming Soon .
BHVR hire me,
don't actually because I would probably have to move -

We've nerfed plenty of survivor perks as well, if time isn't a factor. Let's not forget that Sprint Burst used to have a 20 second cooldown and recharge mid-chase. Several nerfs later, you could still stack it with Lithe, Balanced Landing, and Dead Hard. Nowadays Exhaustion exists, and it doesn't cooldown while running at all.
Double pallets are gone, DS doesn't activate the first time you pick someone up, MoM has been massively toned down, instaheals are no more, instablinds are dead and gone, vacuums have lost their suck- the list goes on. There's changes to both sides, we're not picking favourites. Sometimes there's going to be changes that are great for you, sometimes the pendulum swings back the other way.
Long Ago BHVR: We find the synergy for these perks that give movement bonuses (and head on) too strong, so we are going to change them so they can't synergize as well.
Players: God BHVR is sooooo Killer biased
Right Now BHVR: We find the synergy for these perks that slow down gen repair speed too strong, we are going to change them so they can't synergize as well.
Players: God BHVR is sooooo Survivor biased.

That's definitely SWF.
-
Freddy. Therefore i'm immediately bad at the game.
I also main; Legion, Ghostface, and Clown.
Been playing Clown with only Tier 1 Noed while waiting for the bugs on Freddy's snares to be fixed. So far consistent positive results, 2+ sac's/kills per match. Who says Clown is weak?

Omg sames, it's been happening since the new chapter opened 😣
Also, when you complete a challenge, and then forget to start a new one - ugh "Escape 2 Trials" has become "I've already escaped 4".

Found a way to counter the new Slugging/NOED/Doctor/Stealth Killers meta
Head On, Tenacity, Spine Chill, Inner Strength.
Take that meta survivor perks.

I sacrifice them. Going easy on them will give them a false sense of award, and they will become entitled as a result. Treat them as anyone else, and give them a "gg wp" in end game chat.
-
Me and my friends have made it a house rule, that if we spawn in Lery's it is customary to bring any med-kits we have, or find to Moo Moo - as get well gifts. Doesn't matter if it was your best Med-Kit. Take it to Moo Moo so they get better soon.
Get better soon Moo Moo, we love you.

Meanwhile killers complain when survivors bring in good perks or items. Stop choosing sides and accept both sides are the same.
I only ever usually see that after a survivor accuses the Killer of something absurd like camping, tunneling, or using broken/boring builds. Then comes the lines "Coming from the one running DS", or "Coming from the one running Sprint Burst".
-
I find most times the Killer isn't even Camping or Tunneling. Playing with my friends they often go "Ugh the Killer is tunneling me", and then I have to mention something like "No they are not, you just have been running the same way he's been chasing another survivor", or "No they are not, they chased someone else, but then found you out positioned", or "No they're not. Survivor unhooked you unsafely, so he is simply attacking the weaker and most out positioned target".
Also when I play Killer I see survivors performing plays that ends up their allies getting the punishment, then I get called a tunneler in the end game chat, when they should be accusing their team mate for baiting me to them.
As far as Camping, there are many things that effect terror radius, and the killer isn't going to leave a hook when the Survivors are not working on gens / he finds survivors bum rushing the hook.
-
Survive as Survivor
Get 2 kills as Killer.
Since I started to play like this, the game did become more fun, but I don't rank up as much, but you know what - that's okay, because when I get to Red Ranks I always decided to de-rank to purple (so I go to Green at rank refresh) anyways.
This way it's fun for everyone and I don't even have to derank to ensure that.
-
His power is he summons a large ghost ship to rain cannonballs down on the trial.
Yes it's broken.
No I don't care that would be too easy.
It would be fun to watch.
-
Yes.
-
There was 3 gens left on the map, and you didn't find the one that was at 99 to kick? Regardless if they decided to prolong the game, longer games only end up in the Killer's favor.

But i dont teabag/flashlight click or run infinites unless the killer camps for no reason. So am i supposed to let the killer enjoy his game while hes ruining ours?
Well for starters. It's not his job to make sure you have fun. It's his job to kill you. Next to that, from experience, most often Killers are falsely accused of camping/tunneling just because the survivors play poorly. A Killer that is camping or tunneling will lose. Plain and simple. Even I have been teaching new players how to play survivor, and they sometimes go "He's tunneling me, I can't do anything", and I have to tell them "No that is not tunneling. You were the weakest, and most out of place target. He was just playing smart".
I don't have issues with campers/tunnelers because I am experienced enough at the game to deal with them. I know you can too. Being toxic however, for any reason, is poor sportsmanlike behavior, and not really appreciated in a casual game.
-
Back in my day, you would boop da snoot, and if you didn't you get ... well the hook. That doesn't rhyme, but you know what I mean

Yes I know, but if you don't even get the opportunity to get somebody off the hook because they are facecamping that really sucks.
You have opportunity. You could take a hit to get the person off hook. You could bait for a m1. You can try and distract the killer, but I doubt that will work.
It's best just to do gens and leave. That's the biggest punishment you can give the killer. They get 1 kill this way (which is a loss), and depip as a result of not completing their objectives.
-
Yes it will be. They will have to add competitive aspects to keep making money. As the game keeps getting bigger and bigger, in order to keep making money it will at some point look at esports as a way to continue making a large income and growth.
-
Yeah dude, no you're just toxic. Fix your attitude, and your manners.
-
When people don't boop the snoot.
But no really, I really hate it when survivors bully killers into sweating. Like it's supposed to be a casual game, and you're already playing the role that isn't stressful.
Also the entitled survivors that take any win, and bm you for it. Like I see so many survivors go "Killer's are just as bad as survivors", but I never been treated as poorly by a killer as i've seen so many Survivors treat each other, and killers. The entitled mentality is so strong among the survivors just because they have such an easy time at the game. I find myself often defending Killers just to do my part in combating the toxicity.

Until everyone is taking Inner Strength only to realize there are only five totems on the map that you need to search for.
To be honest you only need 1 free heal a match - none if your good. If you need more than that, then you need to get better, because self care isn't gonna help you.
-
Ghostface - the Weaker Myers, is not too strong.
Freddy - the most balanced killer in the game, is not too strong.
Hag - Now listen here, I know what you can do, and are getting away with it because not many people play you. Don't worry your secret is safe with me.
-
Inner Strength is better, and all the good players know that.
-
But no seriously I had 2 games doing the Pig daily, obviously taking only NOED, and an Ebony Mori. Only 1 player in both matches knew to boop the snoot, and in end game chat the bill was screaming he was gonna report her for "working with killer", when I let her live because she booped the snoot.
-
Oh wait, am I supposed to play pig? Oh #########, i've been doing this wrong the whole time!
-
In my honest opinion. Starting out players should do this:
- David for Dead Hard
- Nancy for Inner Strength
- Bill for Borrowed Time
Then Run BT, DH, Spine Chill, IS on whatever survivor they want to main. To farm switch out Spine Chill for We're Gonna Live Forever.

Agreed, we were in that game and one guy ran you for 80% of the game easy enough, but then noed hit and got us good lol. Though to be fair we were being overly altruistic if we had just left we could have gotten 3 people out, we were happy to keep risking it just for the fun of it but then you kinda camped the last guy so we had to leave. (Gates were up though so no grudges held it made full sense to do that)
tldr; we messed up and didn't do totems though we easily would have had the time to do so, and we were too greedy/altruistic at the end, and noed punished those mistakes we made. So yeah, it worked as intended. It's a solid perk I agree. GG
gg wp, I can't wait to play you guys again. It was very fun :D

Absolutely, actually only use that Perk. Don't use any other perks.

No, it's not a good combo. You only get maybe 2 gens till the totem is broken.

Against a good survivor he will just loop you for 5 gens with the ridiculous number of pallets and windows on most maps. Any good killer knows this, that's why the don't do long chases.
