This isn't a post to complain about NOED, but rather just to question why bad killers use it as a crutch. Most of the time resulting in their only kill. It's just certain days I go on this luck streak of killers who are SO BAD, i literally just ran an oni for 5 minutes around 1 pallet, we all **** on this guys life, tbagging blinding pallet slamming lmaoo. Then mister no skill killer has the audacity to be running NOED. lets be honest that you aren't even going to get far with that when 4 survivors are better than you. You're admiting you're a bad killer seeing as half the killers have 1 shot abilities they can get standard (M2). Needless to say he didn't kill anyone.

Next match, boy was this a funny one, a trapper with NOED who couldn't even loop. Every time he wanted to try to swing at the pallet and let me slam him. It's hard to take this guy seriously and then he gets 1 hook all game, guess what perk he's playing with? NOED LOL

Go ahead keep using it it's rather amusing, rules of survival, unless the killers complete garbage just let the random die on NOED, OR take a look in the most immediate areas to check really quickly, don't feed these bums, I'm perfectly fine with killers not developing skill through means of NOED to get 1 - 2 kills .

A major issue in this game is how people prioritize killing someone even if it means on the first hook. This I don't understand unless you truely don't care about even bloodpoints. Pips don't stand for anything unless you like having a challenge every single time in red ranks, even at purple ranks now u get gold and gray killers on ps4. Hell you even get linked with gold and gray survivors who would rather watch you loop for 5 minutes instead of doing generators. Even so with dumb survivors and a dumb killer with NOED 1-2 experienced survivors is all it takes to change those matches.

    This perk is the biggest hurdle in the game toward survivors , to be fair it always has been, i think I'd rather have this reworked than ruin, ruin was bareable, although admittedly it was the cause of disaster in a lot of games. Why should No One Escapes Death work on every survivor multiple times until its cleansed, depending on what level of NOED you have should be how many times you can use it;

MY PROPOSAL ON HOW N.O.E.D. SHOULD BE:

( NOED Tier 1 - You get a 1 hit down on 1 survivor, only works 1 time)

(NOED Tier 2 - You get a 1 hit down on 2 survivors, only works 1 time on each selected survivor)

(NOED Tier 3 - You get a 1 hit down on 3 survivors, only works 1 time on each selected survivor)

There's absolutely no reason u need a crutch bigger than 3 free M1 1 shots.

Please I hope the Devs see this idea, its much more balanced, especially for super low rank noobie survivors who don't know where to look for totems, or that the situation calls for them to just escape rather than rescue.

Bad survivors reward bad killers the use of NOED. The perk doesn't need a nerf, it's useless against a team of good survivors that know what they are doing.

    This dude is right.

    @NMCKE said:

Just do the totems, they aren't that difficult to do.

The perk does reward bad killers, if you let it do so.

Tunneling isn't playing well for whom? It is for the killer, because it gets a survivor out of the way. Much easier to run against three players than four.

Well my good friend @Pythonheir is convinced tunneling is an inefficient strategy that puts you at a disadvantage against good survivors. You may refer to his posts as I am not a tunneling expert.

It's true. If you're good with survivor then getting tunneled is the fastest way for that Killer to lose. Though i'm not going to write a book describing all the map layouts, and loops in the game.

Juggling the survivors is the strongest way to make the game easier for Killer.

You had me up til the point you used the bs terms "entitled survivors". Entitled players is more like it. I have seen just as many killers act like that, even on these forums. Stop pointing to just one group when both are what screws things up in this game.

Aside from that, you are correct, it is nuts how a group can prop up a bad survivor right into red ranks.

"Entitled Killers" only come about because of the toxicity that is the entitled survivor mindset. I know that's what I've been through. I started playing this game caring about everyone's fun, not anymore. Now I use the best strategy's to win. A person can only be called racist slur's and told to die / get cancer so many times before they just stop caring about the other people behind screens.

Member of Team Lurkforce? Granted, there is a small market for that behavior, but they'll only grow to a point. They check off all the generic DbD streamer boxes. Only plays in SWF. Can't take an L. Etc. You can throw a dart at the directory in that viewer range and land on someone like that.

I check out streamers before, and after the match. Not during. Sorry but 10 seconds is a bit too long of a time to get information for me, also the added sound really messes with me playing.

  • @McLightning said:

And that's why streamers like that person will never have more than 2 viewers.

When someone says that to me "imagine needing to do this etc etc"....I just say "imagine dying" and leave. It will leave a wound on their ego that will fester and likely permanently damage their ego. It's quite satisfying.

    He had 12

  • You can buy Doctor with Iridescent.

    1. All characters needed for the Archives can be bought with Iridescent.
    2. If you don't wish to purchase those characters now, and save your Iridescent for later. All Archives will be accessible via the compendium, so you don't miss out on lore in the Collection, or bloodpoints.
    3. The only thing you miss out on by not using Iridescent to buy the character now, and completing the Challenge are the Rift Fragments from the challenge, as they will only remain for 57 days.
    4. However you are not losing out on Cosmetics you earn through The Rift, as every match rewards you with Rift Fragments anyways.

So I don't see any issue with how they did it. Actually honestly in my opinion this is the most fair and exciting form of Battle Pass I've ever seen in a game. The price for the Premium Rift is not too high, and the Auric Cells you win through the Premium Rift pays for itself. If you are not in it for the basically the free Premium Rift - the 1000 Auric Cells you receive from the Premium Rift you can put towards completing 10 more levels in the Rift, making completing it even faster.

The price of Auric Cells for completing the Rift isn't even so bad. It's like a little over a $1 a level.

  • I don't like the RNG part of it, imo it should be always the third box you goto, and you have to go to 3 boxes.

  • Being able to balance the game is good, but idk what red ranks you've been playing but the place is a mess right now. I'm getting out of games as survivor in like 5 minutes or less, and the rest of the time the Killer DC's. Then I wait for a 20 minute que.

A horror game where the killer is the one hiding in fear hunted by the heroes

Can't even get into a locker and hide - it's a hiding place for survivors to jump out and scare you.

  • Should I remind everyone a "Second Chance" is giving the player immunity from performing a mistake. Not things that make the game balanced for a side, or gives information needed to perform that role.

Did I estimate how far I had to go for the next loop? Dead Hard.

Did I out position myself after getting unhooked? Decisive Strike.

Did I fail to lose the Killer before the last gen is done? Adrenaline.

Did I fail to loop/lose the Killer before he slugged me? Unbreaking.

Also Perks that literally force you to throw away the main game, just to optimize the EGC isn't a "Second Chance" perk. It's balancing the EGC so the Killer can to complete his objective.

  • @Waffleyumboy said:

PGTW: Failed to keep a gen from being repaired? Here kick it and have a second chance to defend it

Noed, bloodwarden, rancor, remember me: give the killer a second chance even though all gens got popped

Spirit Fury: got stunned by a pallet? Here, a free pallet break

Pwyf: couldn't catch your obsession? Here, have a speed boost

Bbq and chili and Thrilling Tremors: failed to keep track of survivors? Here, find them all for free.

PGTW: Gives a balanced amount of reduction to kicking a generator.

NOED, Bloodwrden, Rancor, Remember Me: Sacrifice perks needed to balance the game, to instead optimize and balance EGC.

Spirit Fury: You have to go through 2 pallets just to get one use out of it, that could cost you 2-3 gens easily, just to get one use.

PWYF: Isn't even a second chance perk. It's a perk where you deliberately ignore attacking the obsession to maintain a more balanced amount of movement speed in other chases. If you attack you lose stacks, and then have to waste time - not catching the obsession again.

Bbq and chili and Thrilling Tremors: Information and Gen regression perks are not second chances, they are balancing the game.

  • Yes, but it doesn't change the fact that Survivors have second chance perks and the Killer doesn't.

Killer doesn't have a perk that grants him immunity from getting stunned.

Spirit Fury requires you to go through 3 pallets, which can cost you 2-3 gens just to get one use of the perk.

For survivors they get a second chance when they are injured, when they are unhooked, when they complete generators, when they do nothing but hide in a locker.

Killer's also don't have perks that just let them straight up ignore windows. Which is why I suggest a perk called "X Gon' Give It To Ya" that when the killer vaults a window he breaks through it instead leaving a door.

BHVR likes perks that band-aid remedy things so they have time to fix the problem later. This is a very good band-aid remedy that is also frightening.

  • @brokedownpalace said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1059459#Comment_1059459

You don't need to get stunned by pallets for Spirit Fury to get tokens lol. How can blatantly wrong information get so many upvotes?

A good survivor is not going to drop the pallet unless it's going to hit the Killer - lol why would I ever drop a pallet if it's not going to stun the killer 🤣🤣🤣

  • Survivor wins with no perks, on abusing safe loops alone.

Killer requires perks for information, stability, and control.

When you add perks that grant survivors immunity to the mix, then you make the game unbalanced and stress free for the role that should be scared. It's a horror game, and it's not being treated like one.

  • @Ohnoes said:

Almost all the killers have no learning curve to speak of past knowing the shared one of how survivors react. Doctor just had his removed since you don't got to really figure out timing as much with no reduction in speed and no need to switch modes.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1060573#Comment_1060573

Step 1) Headphones. You are putting a gun in your mouth with speakers.

Step 2) Find survivor. Use special ability to close distance only enough to catch up and not lose sight.

    Step 3) Hit survivor.

Step 4) Get stuck at a pallet? Oh boy you got multiple options. Phase to them, pretend you're phasing by just standing still or just do the usual way. Phasing has risks if you mess up. It has less risks if you got spirit fury. Pretend phasing works better if the pallet is down or on a strong loop.

Step 5) After getting the survivor you use your fast phasing speed to do whatever you want.

You don't need add ons as spirit. Base kit you're strong. Once the survivor is injured they're #########. The only people that are harder to play against is iron will people and you can just avoid that by not doing long phases. Suck at keeping survivors in line of sight? Run one of the multiple perks that do it for you.

In short: Spirit's only learning curve is figuring out when and how to phase. A very small one that only takes a few games. Her "nerf" makes no difference it just takes the training wheels off. I would argue she's the one time the killer's nerfs actually balanced her just fine. tl;dr: Yeah you're doing it wrong and her nerf doesn't impact people that knew what to do to begin with. Before her nerf she was broken and as a result: overused. People like to forget how people take advantage of broken killers or add ons though! They only remember the negatives.

I only used spirit for her Daily, always found her hard to play. Before her nerf at least the collision would tell me when to end phase and attack for her daily. Without it now I just delete Spirit dailys.

I'll remember your advice thanks lol

  • Am I doing something wrong here? I have no Idea how to play Spirit, and have a very hard time learning her.

She is by far not an "easy" killer to play.

RIP having any inkling of doing Spirit daily since the nerfs.

  • I'm pretty much at the point of just enjoying the hate during the end game screen. Especially when you juggle the survivors really well, get 32k that match, and then they call you a "tunneler".

The racist slurs are a bonus during night time.

I should make a drinking game out of playing Killer.

  • Can we please get Resident Evil: Mr. X

Give him a perk "X gonna give it to yeah"

Well looking at your original post, you just do it to give false hope to the survivor. Not to give them points or emblems.

Also calling me 'entitled' for not wanting to increase toxic gameplay, ok.

Calling you entitled because you think it's the killers job to make sure you have fun - which it's not.

Makes sense for the lore of the game this would grant you points, other than that - nothing else matters. Not the killers job to pander to you.

  • @Clevite said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1060366#Comment_1060366

No one said it was the killer's job to do these things.

However if you just camp, tunnel, mori after 1hook you will never be viewed as a top notch killer. I understand when there are strategic moments in the game where this needs to happen. But if your doing it from 5 gens on, you are limiting your own growth as a killer.

And sure you may get 4ks but you won't be respected. Would you want to show your friends your game and say look at me. Look how I tunneled right there. Oh wait the next 2 minutes is a great video of me just standing by the hook.

There is a reason a lot of streamers don't use these tactics as a primary strategy.

Not everyone here is a streamer, a lot of play just play the game to have fun. If one game wasn't fun for you, cool, get into a new one. Or take a break.

By expecting free win's all the time and not learning to counter these easy to counter strategy's then you are limiting your own growth as a survivor.

The amount of entitled survivors that expect to get 3 free hooks, and 3-4 immunity's from perks and granted a free win for being the last survivor is really the only and biggest problem in dead by daylight right now. If these survivors didn't exist in the first place then many of the Killer's wouldn't even be relying on these ######### tactics.

    1. Not the killer's job to make sure you have fun.
    2. Not the killer's job to teach you better perks, how to play the game, or map layouts.
    3. Not the killer's job to teach you how to counter the killer's they play.
    4. Not the killer's fault that the other survivors saved you without perks to ensure safe unhooks.
    5. Not the killer's fault that the other survivors saved you without ensuring the killer was distracted elsewhere.

I can go on, but that looks like a good stopping point.

Because at that point you're just toying with them. It's no less rude then Tbagging at the exit.

Giving free points before securing your win = Toxic.

At this point i'm just going to assume queing as killer is toxic.

  • @Shirokuro said:

It's pretty much the same as bringing the survivor to the hatch just to close it in front of them. Not necessary at all, just a dick move.

    @Hoodied said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1060337#Comment_1060337

The survivor still gets points for opening the gate, about 1250 I think, while survivors don't get any from killer closing hatch

I really don't understand what this community believes is toxic, I just think of it as its REAL reason

You realize the survivor can double pip and die right? You realize that the killer is giving you points to your objective by letting you open the gate right? You realize that is at the cost of iri gatekeeper emblem right? You realize that it's not the killer's job to ensure you have a fun game right?

See this is the exact entitled survivor mentality ruining this game in the long run.

  • The only change that is needed is a change to the map sizes and layouts.

  • Not going to lie every time I get those survivors that say "gg" or "wp" it's a surprise, and makes me smile.

  • @Nomadd said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1059347#Comment_1059347

Yeah, well, I still think if one-two survivors are blocking the killer and he refuses to hit them he's the one who's toxic. And if he eventually hits one of them and still goes after me, once I'm much further away, than the person he's just hit, he's double toxic and stupid. Best option? Alright, but I think I'm not best option if I'm being blocked/protected and he has to put more effort to maneuver around other survivors rather than hit one and switch target.

But hey, I admit, I'm not good at this game. Plus I don't like toxicity, I prefer having fun than sweat and tryhard (in game without rewards especially) and I hate trash-talking after the game so... yeah, I'll just go back to other games, thanks for your answers.

He has 3 survivors in front of him, and knows the one on hook is closest to dying. That's not toxic. That's one unfortunate person on hook, and two idiots who gave the killer a free kill.

Oh wait, sorry, I forgot the Survivor Rules Handbook - the killer should walk to the other end of the map and stare at the wall when he hooks someone.

Again the killer wasn't being toxic, the survivors were just being stupid, case closed.

  • Lol NOED, Bloodwarden, Remember Me, Rancor, and all these perks are not "Second Chance Perks" they are "End Game Perks". Perks that make it so that you have barely a chance during EGC.

Killer has some perks that grant immunity but they have ridiculous conditions. Like Spirit Fury - You have to take 3 pallets to the head before you can break 1 pallet. When getting hit by 3 pallets could cost you 2-3 generators.

Other than that Killer has nothing but Perks they use to balance the game.

  • Can confirm I feel more like in a horror game playing Killer than survivor

  • @FleshTorpedo said:

Bruh, if you dont even have DS on you going to have a bad time solo queue. Ain't no one body blocking for your random ass.

Don't need them too. I know the loops. I know how to use Dead Hard. If the killer caught me in the first place I probably already had enough points to at least black pip. Decisive Strike is unreliable at that point. The killer is just gonna slug through it, or it's timer is gonna run out before I can use it anyways.

That's why I said to drop it in the higher ranks, if you're good at the game you don't need it in higher ranks.

  • @ClickyClicky said:

Killers like that are the reason DS and BT exist, but then those same killers want them nerfed because it means survivors have a fighting chance against them.

They’ll always have NOED as backup too because they know the other 3 aren’t going to get all the gens and totems done in time. NOED enables them.

Crap entitled players thinking they deserve the kills with minimal effort.

Survivor is the easiest role in the game. I literally just pip'd in red ranks doing nothing but performing unsafe maneuvers trying to help a friend get the WGLF archive.

You here talking about "Crap entitled players thinking they deserve the kills win with minimal effort". That's the base description of what Survivor is.

  • Yellow - Purple

Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, Spine Chill, Inner Strength

  • @Nomadd said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1057831#Comment_1057831

OMG... no I don't forget that, I wrote that in first message, remember? 'Eventually will get me'? And your interpretation of that was 'reason you wrote that is because you get downed quickly'.

Well, yes, I blame idiots in my team just as much, if they're doing unsafe unhooking, sure. But if killer is standing there, basically checking dilation of my pupils, I blame him much than I blame my team. They're trying to give me an option to play. Have you ever seen some videos on youtube, where killer maneuvers to hit the person who's performing the unhook? Well, for me it's usually other way around; they do everything to get the rescued person. And when I was playing killer, I was also going for the one who was unhooking. I think it rather works; saved person is healing, so one person is off, rescuer gets chased, so another person is not doing gens.

True, sometimes you're in a situation where you have time to react and start actual chase, often enough (for me) I get downed before the game is able to read that I'm trying to move. And so often I get 8k for chases, and close to 0 in other categories, because I'm not even able to touch a gen, because killer is blind on other survivors. But I guess that's actually complainant for devs, to give some more points. And I think it's fair, if me (or anyone else) being chased for 95% of the game makes other survivors do the gens and gates... I think I should get some extra points, right?

That last scenario was just one, special case. I wrote that SOMEHOW once we were able to do something. And for f... sake, what's the point of putting magic 'toxic' word in there? Where did I wrote that I'm toxic? Especially in that second scenario. Because I was able to save a survivor? Unless for you stun and blind equals toxic behavior? Because well, if you think tunneling and camping is a 'strategy', or punishing bad behavior, then so are pallets and flashlights. Killer has weapon(s) to kill, I have environment and flashlights to run, what's toxic in that? I don't teabag, flashlight click, write anything toxic (like 'ez') on chat after the game or anything else. Even with toxic killer (yes, face camping is toxic) after the game I just leave and don't get engaged in chat, where they might try to annoy me with their 'ez' trash talking. So, again, please don't play Nostradamus or Sherlock Holmes.

If you get downed immediately off hook, then your team performed an unsafe save, and it's only their fault. Camping, is a legitimate strategy by killer. I mean most times where I am hitting someone off hook is because the rest of their team is not doing gens, they came for the save too quickly, or they went for the save as I was coming back around my patrol path. With my Freddy build I optimize unhooks with Make Your Choice - effectively keeping 1 person on hook since the first time I have someone on hook. However by the end of it - the Killer is always, and should always go for the best option target, and coming off hook. That's you. So stop blaming the killer for the mistakes made by the other survivors or yourself. Once you stop incorrectly blaming the killer then you will in time get better at the game and it won't be an issue for you at all. Like it isn't for me.

Now i'm moving on from this conversation because we are literally just going around ourselves, and i'm repeating all that I've already told you.

  • No he's not OP. Learn how to counter him. Thank-you BHVR for having a balanced killer in the game. Please look at balancing some of the weaker killers to be in the same standing as this one.

  • @FleshTorpedo said:

bwhahahahahaaha. Its not like survivors are waiting 30 minutes to find a game at red ranks because there is not a shortage of killers are anything.

This, the game is in crisis right now as it is because no one wants to play Killer. You need Killer's just as much survivors - on top of that Killers should be the ones with relaxing casual play. They are the Killers. They should be the power role. Survivors are not scared anymore and that's a problem.

  • I agree, it's time to nerf Key's.

Remove the hatch, and start EGC when it's the last survivor. Oh no no no, the Gen's don't finish and the gates don't activate. You still have to finish those 3 gens alone. Good luck.

Feel like killing them with kindness works better. Someone like this is likely to burst a blood vessel if you reply back "GG, hope everyone had a fun game"

I sometimes come back really freaky with some "Tell me more daddy <3", and "Oh baby yes, talk to me like that, that's how I like it". I don't know if I am pissing them off more, or creeping them out, though in my mind both those outcomes is what i'm aiming for.

His other friends are probably boosted as well. What the hell are those perk load outs. It's all green. They probably got to red ranks by sheer SWF alone.

Wait who doesn't bring a mori then they see twitch?

So I opt not to take Mori's to leave a good impression when I find the streamers that actually have some decency and want to create positive/fun community's.

  • @shadowman0105 said:

Jesus I hope your not letting these messages get to you.

Oh they got to me long ago, it's literally like every game people are being treated like this. All because Survivor was made into such a relaxing - zero stress role, they feel like the power role, and get an entitled mentality to behave like this.

So I stopped playing trying to make the game fun for both sides, and just play how I want, and punish survivors every time I see them make a mistake. For example this Claudette who's friends couldn't perform a safe save.

  • I wouldn't buff it to make it competitively as good as BBQ, but I would buff the BP ratio from 100% to either 150% or 200%, really get an advantage out of using the perk to make using the perk and running a game with only 3 perks worthwhile. The 100% is a buff to bp, but not enough to be worthwhile taking compared to a perk that will simply make you live longer, with less obligation to put yourself in harms way.

This has happened to me so many times. Its usually them finding a key in a random chest instead of bringing one in themselves.

    Moris.

You have no requirements to use the Key other than finding an easy to find hatch that spawns in the same few locations every time on each map.

You actually have to find, down, hook, find, and down a survivor to use a mori.

  • Key Hunt;

New Map; Mansion (Indoor Map)(Not official name)

Survivors Objective; To find 5 key's to open the exit doors on either side of the main floor. The key's are hidden in boxes much like chests, and there are 9 on the map. Boxes without key's will simply give the player an item instead.

Map; The Map is decorated as a clean old fashioned mansion home for one half, but the other half of the rooms are destroyed, and decaying from years of being abandoned. The mansion features secret paths to other rooms, and objects that may trigger if you get too close - alerting the killer (like you enter the piano room and the piano starts playing)(Walk by a chair and it falls down, when you look away and back again the chair is standing again).

I think this would be hella cool, really Resident Evil esc trying to find keys to open the escape - add some puzzles to use the secret passages, and that Darkness Within vibe.

  • The fact that Tapp, David, Ace, and Ash don't have perfect butt's bothers me.

    Make it happen BHVR.

    Let's keep this thread going.

Don't play Nostradamus or Sherlock Holmes, it ain't working for you too well. You don't know me and you don't know how I play. I don't hold 'W', I'm looping, mind gaming, using flashlight etc. Am I good? Most likely no, but I can hold it for 3-4 minutes.

And now, lets get back to my question, read it again and then answer. Or let my simplify it, if I can:

    • killer camps my hook
    • I get unhooked (obviously I'm injured at that point)
    • killer immediately rushes after me
    • teammates try blocking, protecting me, but killer maneuvers around them, only focuses on my person
    • gen might pop, maybe more, but killer doesn't give a damn at this point, he just wants to kill me at any cost

My question is in that situation, what am I supposed to do? Turn on a speed hack? Because (yes, I will use that word again, don't read too much to it) eventually I will get knocked down again. Maybe some real top tier players can run forever and will never get downed and will get out of every situation, but I won't, especially I won't escape face camping tunneller.

Another situation, two days ago. I'm playing with a friend, vs wraith. Total face camper (like 99% wraiths I meet, I'm rank 5, if that matters), hooks my friend, moves away. Or at least we think so, because in reality, he was right behind the corner, invisible. So BT didn't work, wraith maneuvered around me just to attack the unhooked person at any cost. He downed my friend, got DSed, but was after him anyway. Second hook, then same situation, camping around the corner. This time though somehow I was able to stun him, blind him, get him on me and make him lose us both (in the end 3 people escaped).

But my point is, if killer is camping, just waiting to tunnel the unhooked person, not even giving them time to react, then saying to a survivor 'git gud' is rather... inadequate to the situation.

You seem to forget that you're not supposed to be able to loop the killer for the entire match. You run from him for as long as you can, and either try to lose him, or force him to lose interest in you. I literally can't sum up learning 13 realms, and 33 maps into a single post other than to just say "git gud".

That's also saying that it's not the killer's fault if another survivor goes and performs an unsafe save, meaning - yes you are going to get punished for the other survivors mistake and it's not the Killer's fault for that. It's the survivors, so stop blaming the Killer for playing right, and start blaming the other survivors for being bad.

However even in most cases where I was saved unsafely, I still used my Dead Hard, or took a direction that forced my way out of a killer's attack off hook, and then into a nearby loop where I take his attention for 3 or more minutes, and then either lose him by hiding, or they realize they won't get me and give up chase. Yes sometimes they refuse to stop chasing me, at this point it's tunneling because they ignoring better objectives. The rest of the survivors finish the gen's and I die with at least a black pip for getting max chase points, and any other points I accumulated up to that point.

Btw your whole "second scenario" you literally just described how the killer lost by camping. 3 people escaping is a win for the one person who died by dev's standards, and everyone who survived is a win because they survived. The Killer lost for not securing 2 kills. If this is what you're talking about tunneling, and camping, then you need to learn a lot more about the game than just map layouts and loops, and in the meantime work on being less toxic until you do.

  • Took me several weeks. I guess I was probably better sooner than that, but I put several weeks into learning the maps, perks and spawns. I even followed top killers on twitch and asked them for tips, and donated money for builds.

As for survivor, I just used what I seen survivors doing when I played killer, and got red ranks.

  • That would be a way to balance it better.

  • Sorry it should be "Dead Hard Should Not Grant Immunity" there fixed.
