I have only faced it when Killers were testing it in their builds. I have yet to see anyone use it legitimately, as it's entirely useless and pointless. Even today when I faced a ruin, at the start of a match me and 1 other survivor jumped on a gen - made it 3 quarters of the way through the gen, the killer came over. We split up, and the like 10-15 seconds I was off the gen it lost maybe an eighth of it's repair. I finished the gen in no time and then took like 6 seconds getting to and starting on another. Then ruin was gone when I was working on the third gen.
That's all ruin is now. A minor inconvenience, and never makes it to the late game (as any Hex Perk that isn't NOED does).

David sounds like he is dying when he isn't even injured.

What you are describing is a proxy camp/tunneler. You can play how you want, but I mean you can’t get mad over being called something that’s accurate. Just comes down to whether you care or not, as it doesn’t sound like they are wrong. Just don’t complain about DS and BT as you’ll see it a lot.
As was said above, if that’s your style your best bet is just to not read chat. Nothing good will come from it.
This is a good example. You play well, and survivors will find any reason to call you things like a camper/tunneler.
The game where it's expect for you to lose your first few gens and play the game around 3 gens, but if you patrol the nearest 3 gens your a "proxy camper".
Survivors just making up any excuse to not look at them-self, and get better at the game.
-
Feng Min - she has had the most training in video games to be in a video game.
-
DS was never supposed to "stop tunneling" as tunneling is the fastest way for a killer to lose. It was only ever supposed to extend a chase after being unhooked.
It's true though, it's not doing it's job, and is being abused in worse ways.
-
The Nightmare would win hands down. He is a demon with his own reality within in the entity's realms. 10 seconds into the fight, and boom - Killers are going dead left and right.
-
Yeah they always has been, it's easier if you take Sprint Burst and Empathy. Then when you see someone injured in chase. Sprint to the chase, hide, and when the killer downs then, and picks them up. Take 2 hits while the killer is carrying the survivor.

Clown w/ Redhead's Pinky Finger, Cigar Box (Redhead can be switched with Cheap Gin Bottle)

It's awful for both. Playing survivor it's too fast and easy, for Killer it's too fast and hard. Honestly i'm just playing the game to complete the rift right now, and then going to switch to something else till changes are made.

A Nurse's Calling, Surveillance, Pop Goes The Weasel, Thanatophobia

I just "ggwp" and close the chat now as Killer.
I keep the chat open to flame other survivors who try to bm killers now as Survivor.
-
I think they secretly rotate maps each day/week, because I find when I start to play each day there are a few maps that are just more likely to spawn than the others.
-
I just played against a rank 20 trapper who just had their very first game.
Me a solo survivor with over 1000 hours into the game 🙄

Mickey Mouse
In the dark you hear his hideous laughter - right before you get downed by a walking broom

I would assume they want matches to take 15-20 minutes a trial, but that is difficult to do in this type of game. So I imagine they are working on trying to make the game better.

Do you even know what that word means? I didn't demand anything I politely asked and you come here just to ######### on me as though you are some almighty pro player.
Your logic is flawed so if someone is getting chased your logic is to not even open a gate but to expect them to go down because you want to cheese a killer out of a perk that rarely gets used anyway. Please don't make up lies saying I'm demanding anything when clearly I haven't if you don't like me you can kindly ignore posts with my user attached to them
So you're one of those people that makes a forum discussion when you had a bad game, and then expresses your frustrations on those who tell you the better strategies. Then when that's not working in your favor you start to play Ring a Ring o' Roses, repeating yourself expecting the other person to repeat them-self again. Luckily I can just quote myself with the push of a button.

I'm sorry if you're not good enough at the game yet, but you 99 the gate to avoid Blood Warden. Also what they should of been doing is getting the gate to 99 and just as you are running to it, open it and then take protection hits till all the survivors leave together.
In this case it was against a billy, unfortunately standing out in the open against a Killer that can dash with an instant down may not be the most reliable decisions in the game.
I've stated that the good player opens the door when the chased survivor is running up, and takes protection hits. In your situation was against a hillbilly which is harder to do when he has an instant down dash. Stop crying, and either take a break from the game, or just move on. No one here is going to coddle you.

It's considered harassment and you can report them in the end game screen.
If this was on console then you would report them as normal as harassment with the consoles support team

Criticizes other peoples skill....yet, is afraid of Blood Warden.
Makes ignorant response to my comment, doesn't understand that you are doing more than just stopping blood warden by 99% a door.
It also stops the game going into EGC so you have time to save people, cleanse totems, find the hatch, and open chests.
But like you know, try and insult me further. 🙄

What are you talking about "not good enough at the game" focus on your own skill I'm good with me
You're demanding players to play in a way that makes it worse for everyone in that game - something that better players already know against. If you don't know why people 99 gates, then maybe actually stop wasting your time making demands on the forums, and spend more time learning more about the game.
-
Never use them, they don't seem like a good idea for either side.
-

Lol I found the questions weird. I was expecting more map specific questions, or if the atmosphere should be made scarier.
-
Feng is clearly the best, too bad she had to place with that old Hag - Nea.
-
inb4 "That's what decisive is for". No Decisive is predictable, and easily avoided. Now Borrowed Time working on yourself instead, that is an idea I can get behind.
Also it should work based on distance the killer is to the hook, not the terror radius. There are 20 or more things in the game that effect the terror radius - makes a perk like this kind of dumb to rely on the heartbeat.
-
I just take Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, and Resilience w/ a Commidius Toolbox (Socket Swivel, Wire Spool), and gen rush. Then take the exit gate or hatch at the end. If I get to my second hook (pretty big if most of the time). I stop saving people, and wait out the hatch.
-
btw relying on a 3 gen strategy doesn't stop gen rushing. Regardless you can finish 1 gen in the time it takes to complete 1 chase, not including the time it takes to move a body to a hook, and then even sacrifice someone.
-
Now we just need to fix the Sacrifice emblem from Survivors dcing to forcibly make Killers De-pip, just because they had a bad game.
-
No they are not. I purposely stop doing Gen's, and open chests to find the best item if I find the game is going too fast. Then again i'm also incredibly selfish when I play survivor. I try to force the match to take 9 minutes as much as possible. I understand I can double pip and die, and the killer can't even black pip unless the game is longer than 5 minutes.

Killer: *has instadowns*
Entitled survivor: "You weren't supposed to do that."
At that point you go to the forums and demand that Dev's buff med kits to be able to be used while you're slugged.
-
Yes remove it from the game. BEGONE THOT
-
Can't Punish Me
First Aid Kit w/ Gel Dressings, Self Adherent Wrap
Unbreakable, Dead Hard, Decisive Strike, Adrenaline
It's literally a build that just has all of the Second Chance perks, so no matter how bad you play you have the highest chance to survive, and if you don't - well then you're gonna have to practice more and "git gud".

As Killer: Play with your Mouse Sensitivity at 80. If you can 180 on your own as fast as possible with the flick of your wrist. Then when a survivor tries to "360" you, just as you make your swing, flick your own camera around. The aim sight will catch the survivor and guarantee the hit goes through. It will sometimes miss if you are close to another object like a wall, rock, tree, generator, or hooked survivor.
Also "bending your attack" (is what I call it) when they try to vault windows or pallets. Aiming for the edge of their hitbox rather than directly at them. You will hit them even if they made it over halfway across the pallet or took 1 step from the window. They will just blame it on "extendo arms", and "dedicated servers" so they will never patch it out.
As Survivor: Use the "Formula One" method when running loops, that's having no distance between you and a wall, just scraping the edges of anything that sticks out. So you are always taking the fastest path around the loop possible. Many times when the killer attacks, "Animation Enhancement" will force the camera to turn and hit the object you were looping around because it was the first thing the "Animation Enhancement" picks up from the cone infront of them - being so close to the object already.
Also when you go around an object sticking out, a quick A/D (or Left/Right) so the object you've passed is 1 tick/step between you and the Killer. The "Animation Enhancement" will pick up the object first, and force the killer to turn and attack it instead.
360 is pressing A S D W (Or DSAW) in succession not too quick, but fast, and facing your camera straight up, or straight down. This will force your survivor to basically run in a very small circle. What this does is force your survivor to leave the killers field of view, so the "Animation Enhancement" doesn't pick up the survivor that once was in your attack cone - basically confuses it, and it just force the killer to attack any other object in the field, or simply miss.
360 takes practice but is like riding a bike once you learn.
There you go. Have fun screwing over other players.

BBQ, PGTW are really the only two I see consistently back to back, as all killers can use them effectively.

The game will tell you if you’re a camper. You lose emblem points if you camp. There’s no discussion on this. If another survivor is near by it won’t deduct points.
Not even the game is good at that, i'm sorry but i'm not leaving this hook's side if all 2-3 of the remaining survivors are just darting in and out around it trying to save while i'm still trying to walk away.
It's not camping. It's common sense. I'm not going to walk to another area of the map that I know doesn't have any survivors.
-
I wouldn't make it a status effect against killers, but would be an interesting way to balance the game against survivors.
-
Mori's literally never need to be changed. They come with an objective before you can use it. Unlike Key's, or the Hatch Mechanic, which require nothing but convenience.
Though I like your perk idea, however if it's just a global effect and not requiring a hit. I would make it a Hex: Perk. I also would make it effect items found in the match, as most survivors don't take items into matches anyways.
I like to take into consideration everyone except just SWF when thinking of balancing a perk to combat SWF, because in reality most cases you're not against SWF except for like 1 every 4-6 trials.

Have you tried Final Fantasy XIV? I stopped playing WoW for FFXIV, so if you anyone plays, or switches from WoW, let me know and I'll join you x'D

If you read Peanits' original comment then you can see they literally wrote a whole paragraph about why its not autoaim, as I called it in the title.
So again. Its not autoaim because it doesnt help you aim. If it does something that has impact on the gameplay then it one of two things:
- makes a good hit look better
- makes a hit a miss.
Its more of a "AimCounterAssist" than "AimAssist" becaise it helps you miss more than it helps you hit
How did you know I couldn't read?
Regardless what you change the name too, it's still the same thing, and it's still causing the same problem. I don't even know why you attempted to come back at me with just repeating yourself, but I do enjoy games of Ring a Ring o' Roses.
-
Do survivors all have the same size hit box? Do Killers all have the same size hit box?
Youtuber's and streamers have been saying all the survivors have the same size hit box, and the killers all have varying sizes of hit boxes. Which explains why Clown can't chase survivors around corners, because his hit boxes forces him to take a wider girth around a corner - making him move at the same speed as survivors that run as close to the inside of a turn as possible.

I mean juat read the post, its explained there.
Autoaim, Aim Assist, and "Animation Enhancement". Are all the exact same thing, they all are just doing the exact same thing. Peanits described it as "Animation Enhancement" to give people a better idea of why it exists, not because he wanted people to think it's different than an aim assist.
The purpose of it is to make attacking look more fluid. The issue it's making is that attacks are being manipulated outside of the Killers control. The dev's are aware of this (and have admitted it's an issue), just it's not something easily fixed.
-
The perk taught me all I know about Generator, Chest, and Totem locations. I may not use it anymore, but it will never be forgotten.

I get window hit quite frequently as larger survivors, so it's not just hitbox misjudgment.
I'm not discrediting dedicated servers, or connection issues entirely. I'm just mentioning it's not always the problem. When you play killer, you can see the difference between when it's because you hit the edge of the survivor hitbox, and when you get a hit via connection issues. It's harder to see as the survivor though, since you're preoccupied with the chase.
-
Survivors all have the same size hitbox, and it also confuses players that are using smaller survivors, then get hit by an attack they quickly call dedicated servers or connection issues.
Killer's have different sized hitboxes, so it looks cleaner when you hit them with a pallet or they interact with other objects (lockers, windows, generators, etc). However this causes problems for Killer's like Oni, and Clown (Clown has the biggest hitbox in the game right now). Where if you formula one loops, then they move nearly at the same speed as the survivor (the exact same in Clowns case) - making it impossible to catch the survivor.
-
Whatever you choose to call it, it's still something in the game screwing with Killer's ability to play, and is easily taken advantage of by Survivors. I know when I play survivor. I slide in past the corner of a rock while in a chase, knowing that even though the killer should hit me - aim assist is going to register it as hitting the rock. Same with corners, tree's, and etc. I also know the 360 maneuver which is easy to get away with against any killer that isn't playing with a ms over 60.
As Killer It's annoying when I am looking at a survivor, and I intentionally don't swing yet, knowing all the survivor has to do is press A/D once, and my attack is just going to forcibly go into that corner even though I wasn't looking at it - just because they F1 a corner.
Don't even get me started on the fact that the "animation enhancement" even see's hooked survivors as targets. So when you are hitting someone who is performing an unsafe unhook, the feature forces you to hit the survivor on hook, through the survivor in front of you instead. Giving both survivors a free escape.
So yeah - tell Killer's to "get gud" in a game where every second matters, and they are forced to wait seconds because the game is broke, is dumb. They should fix their game, and be made aware of issues it has.
