I honestly don’t understand the mindset, other than one platform has a better advantage than the other.
If people want to play with their own platform peeps, that’s fine. But, the issue comes when they truly believe there’s a shared behavior on each. All PC players do this, all console players do that, all XboX players are this and that, etc.
Some people notice a difference in crossplay, I guess.
Others don’t and are just glad to have faster que times.
-
That settles it.
I’m getting a PS5. I heckin’ love Plague.
-
I wish I can go to a restaurant with my friends at this point, online friends, DBD friends, irl, whatever.
But I gotta be all safe and cautious and stuff. 😞

Good luck.

Agreed.
This Tome is gonna be real tough for some (if not, most) players.

🥺 Awee

Those first two situations. Yes, it’s the teammates fault, but I still try to avoid hitting the unhooked survivor.
Once upon a match, I discovered how it feels to get unhooked in front of the Killer without BT, then the Killer positions themselves on my side and downs me. The process repeats until death. (Teammate kept unhooking me as soon as I got on hook).
That was a 5 minute match, if that.
Sure, it’s beneficial and a Killer is gonna kill. But, I wouldn’t want anyone to experience that scenario above.
-
You always kill me at “SPIREH”, I don’t know why.
-
I hear there’s a bug about Survivors not making breathing sounds, when injured with Iron Will.
Aside from that, there’s much more to finding a Survivor than just their breathing/injured noises. Crows, grass (especially corn fields), blood pools, footsteps, etc.
-
Okay-
What?

And then the devs add an offering that begins a timer at the start of the match that will instantly sacrifices all survivors if the gate doesn't get opened in time :>
:0
I actually wanna see something like that. It’d be interesting to see how crazy some people may get. 😅
-
I still see them often, but I no longer feel stressed every time I don’t see the last offering turn over.

What if i told you that since the update i see A LOT of Élodies and that she's actually a popular character?
Yes I said you were entitled because you act entitled by saying that yui's snow motocross outfit does not count because she had it for christmas and you think that only this character should have cosmetics. Also that means Élodie's set doesn't count either since she got it for Christmas ? Tbh i don't understand why they make lots of outfits for yui since i never see someone playing as this ugly character. Right After getting her ugly greek legend outfit, she got her ugly Hallowed Curse outfit and next patch her next outfit is probably going to be ugly aswell.
Nothing about their statement was entitled at all. It seems you’ve misunderstood them.
Anyhow.
Elodie is still (kinda) new to the game. I’d give them time to release new cosmetics for her, I’d bet they’ll be good.
I hope.
-
As the saying goes: To each their own.
I love mystery within a character’s design. That, and there are some people in the world who are gonna stick out like a sore thumb, though that shouldn’t call for excluding more relatable characters.
Other that, I agree with the other points stated in this post.
-
Don’t unhook in front of the Killer without BT.
I’m starting to think some of my teammates kill me more than the actual Killer.
-
It’s not good at all.
I hate how the screams and chainsaw noises are right next to my ears.
But eh, what can they do?
-
I mean.
If he JUST got unhooked and you immediately chase after him, then it’s understandable as to why he would hop in a locker.
I don’t know if that’s the question, but there’s my answer.
-
Perfection.

I’m pretty sure it was strongly implied that Torque was the monster in that game.
There was a lot of suggestion that he had a complete psychotic break and managed to break out of his cell, going on a rampage killing many inmates and prison staff. I.e. the monsters Torque sees are hallucinations. They’re actually people he’s killing.
So him as survivor is kinda not very fitting.
Great game BTW. Shame about Midway. I’d LOVE a rebuilt next gen version of the game.
Never thought of it like that.
It can explain why Carmen got mad when he kills a caged monster.

Maybe the entity would make a clone of the creature torque turns into and that would be his killer to torture him?
That’s a better idea, I can see that
-
Yes. A thousand times yes.
I loved that game. I only have Ties That Bind, unfortunately. 😞
Edit: I got carried away lol. To answer the actual question, there are so many bosses that I can’t think of one that’ll fit.
Maybe Blackmore?
-
This is just saddening.
I hope that they eventually fix the twins.
-
Survivor: Teabag or spin with the first Survivor I see, then go work on a generator (preferably the middle ones or the ones that are.. out of place.) If I spawn near a dull or lit totem, it’s getting cleansed.
Killer: Go straight for the generator furthest from me, or the ones on the outer sides of the map. If I have a totem, I go to it’s spot and determine if it’s gonna be broken early or not, then prepare.
-
While I want this to happen, I highly doubt it will for the licensed cosmetics.
-
That first one, geezus. You shouldn’t have to go through that.
Simply put.
I hope you take it easy on yourself and give yourself a break. And for the sake of the game and for yourself, please don’t dc.
-
It’s just as others say: You need a fair amount of points in all categories to pip.
Sadly, there are gonna be matches where that seems unfair or impossible to achieve: Camping, Tunneling, AFK Killers, etc. can or will hurt your pips as Survivor. But don’t forget, it also depends on what you do against those kinds of players as well.
It’s even more frustrating if (looking at your replies) you don’t have the perks for any of those situations.
In the end: The system is flawed. I once got chased all match, escaped without being hooked, then lost a pip. It’s odd.
-
I can’t play her without add-ons, at the moment.
For multiple games, I can’t infect survivors no matter how much they get vomited on. I have to constantly contaminate pallets, windows, etc in order to get something going.
Luckily, her Corrupt Purge works just fine for me.
-
I had match with a Santa Clown that made me chuckle.
Whenever I spun while being down, he spun with me.
I shook my head no, he did the same.
Dropped a pallet, he’d look back and forth at the pallet and me while chasing.
He spun around before hooking peeps.
And finally: When he hooked me and got the last teammate near me, he nodded and then went to “stalk” behind a wall. Slowly making himself more visible.
Best match ever. 🤗

Thats what Twins is though, intrinsically.
A Killer that has two physical presences, but only one of which is "active" at any given time.
I understand that.
It’s just this mechanic that gets me, sorry if I sound like a broken record right now. 😓 If you’re right and it’s intended, then it is what it is I guess. I’d just treat camping like any other: Rush gens.
-
@Rhoska said:
Physical blocking is innate to a Killer.
In the case of Twins, Charlotte remains motionless (and blocking) while Victor is active, and vice-versa.
Its not unintended.
As long as it doesn’t break the rules, I agree with your first statement in a way.
However, there’s a chance (although slim) to take a risk and save your teammates from basement Hags, Bubbas, Trappers, what have you.
When someone literally and physically can’t go for a save at all, (until Victor gets down, but who knows how long that’ll take) that’s where I scratch my head.
In that case, I don’t think this is intended. But who knows

were was the basement
The match occurred in Azarov, the map had that little cabin as the main building. Basement was there.

@MadLordJack said:
Its yet another unintended side effect of The Twins' power that has yet to be rectified. I think you may be able to get past Charlotte by ramming her like a rhinoceros, which is supposed to cause a killers hitbox to shrink enough that you can run past them, but I don't think it works on her when she's idle.
@ilovedbd123 said:

Yeah she blocks the way into basement. The only hope is to either run DS to stop her ( you can miss it if needed for other killers/ they played nice) or have the saviour run bt, get hit once, save them and let them take a hit with BT. There's not much else. This is why if I'm going to get caught I run from the basement, even if it gets me caught quicker because basement means it's basically death / definite second phase first hook.
Thank you both for the advice. 🙏 If it happens again, I’ll try these methods.
-
Sickening and beautiful.
-
Yeah, I kinda agree with you on this one.
There’s a ton of things that come into play when looping, but one things for sure, Killers are made to (eventually) win chases. (That’s my personal opinion anyways).
What really matters is how long you’ve ran them around.
I’m not good at looping. It’s a surprise that I even made it to red ranks, considering I only play this game very casually.
But, I just stick to being a team player. If I or someone can lead the Killer far away from our teammates who are doing gens, then that’s fine with me.
-
It depends; did they do it once or multiple times throughout the match?
Were they actively teaming with the Killer?
Some people just may lead the Killer to you entirely on accident.
-
People are wanting bbq nerfed? Like, truly?
Just remove Killers at this point. Throw the whole game away.
-
Reminds me of these, “If you play this character you’re a bad person” threads I’ve been seeing lately.
Those people are just messy.
Sorry this happened to you.
-
You mean like an item that already lost it’s charges?

Cool, what’s the name?

Oni and/or Plague. Landing hits with their secondary power is so rewarding.

I can’t think of any advice to give, other than just to try to play this game for fun and perhaps meme around and just relax for a bit. If you play Survivor and you got some friends to play with, that’ll help.
If you’re not the type who cares about pips and rank, that can also help. If you need another break, by all means go for it.
Try to play the game by what’s fun for you. (Without breaking any rules of course). But, if nothing works do not force yourself to play like it’s a chore. If you’re done with something, you’re done. But only you get to decide that.
