Spirit is 100% overrated. All her power lets her do is not be a 110 M1 Killer every 10 to 15 seconds.

No Mither is actually a good perk, not as a "hard mode" perk (that's dumb as rocks, if you want Hard Mode don't play with Perks) but because it gives some nice benefits -- including being the only counter to Bloodhound.
The main issue is it has too many drawbacks. It's just badly designed. The noise reduction needs to be fixed to 100%, and the Broken Indicator should not be shown so that it's at least a surprise until your first hit or first sighting and the Killer sees your injured.
Perk needs to be reworked, it is sadly in need of some kind of change.
Everyone saying that No Mither counters X or No Mither counters Y is actually stupid.
”No Mither counters Bloodhound” You know what else counters Bloodhound? Being uninjured.
”No Mither counters Exposed Perks” by making you Exposed all the time? That definitely makes human sense.
“No Mither and Iron Will is stealthy” It’s only just as stealthy as being uninjured—except when you run No Mither, you’re on a 1-hit down.
”No Mither is good for gen builds” WOW, Resilience and This Is Not Happening make gens go SO much faster! I can definitely see myself benefitting from a 9% increase in repair speed and hitting those great skill checks I probably would have hit anyway! That’s definitely worth the trade-off of being on a 1-hit down all game!
Face the facts: The only justifiable reason to equip No Mither is to make the game harder for yourself. All benefits that you could possibly reap from being Broken all game are outweighed by, well, being Broken all game. It’s a challenge Perk, through and through. A badly-designed one.

No one uses Distortion, so I don’t see what your point is.

A better question would be: Why does no mither exist in the form it does?
... To make the game more of a challenge for people who are especially good at Survivor?
Like, what other reason could there possibly be?

@No_Mither_No_Problem I’d recommend using iron will with no mither ‘cause I can still hear you.
Yeah but I'm not gonna feed into the devs' ######### decision not to give No Mither a 100% reduction. I'm going to use that Iron Will Perk slot on something that's actually fun to use.
-
Oh, oh, me first
*clears throat*
WHY THE ######### DOES NO MITHER NOT HAVE A 100% REDUCTION I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO RUN IRON WILL JUST TO BE ABLE TO NOT GIVE MY LOCATION AWAY AT ALL TIMES WHAT THE HELL GAME
-
I know people who need to bring No Mither just so that their Survivor games aren't 100% piss-easy. Meanwhile I just use No Mither because I hate myself lol
-
Iron Will.
Unless I'm running No Mither.

"You have to work for Mettle of Man"
This Perk literally activates after you screw up repeatedly. There's no "work" about taking hits. When you get hit, that means you were put into a position where the Killer was able to hit you. You were outsmarted and outplayed. You failed.
This Perk is not activated by work. This Perk is activated by repeated failure, and in return, it erases your next failure. It is the embodiment of "crutch Perk".

I kinda wanna make a Survivor version of this now.

Okay so I recently watched this one really underground horror film called “My Financial Situation” and holy ######### it was ######### terrifying

Thank you for the very detailed (even if it is very long) feedback. I feel like most of what you said is very reasonable.
Just to clear up two things:
- Blood pools are now hidden like scratch marks to discourage you from using frenzy on an already injured Survivor. There's not much sense in doing so anyway since it won't down them.
- Setting the terror radius to 28m is probably off the table. Terror radii are standardized in 8m increments. This is why the pig's terror radius was changed from 28m to 32m a while back.
On a personal note, I'm not too sure about increasing the base mending time. While I get where you're coming from, it starts to feel really awful when you get stuck in an endless loop of mending. I feel like the mend time add-ons do a pretty decent job of that already. If that's the way you want to play the Legion, you can already get a pretty long mend time already.
I appreciate your response, but none of it seems like valid justification.

Well, as you have probably seen, the unanimously poor reception of the change means that, well, nobody cares and it should probably be done away with. You shouldn't have to rely on your character’s kit to tell you not to do something stupid; you should rely on your game sense. That change is nothing but an annoying QoL nerf.

I have a hard time believing that the people in charge of programming TRs would really be all that caught up in making a TR not a multiple of 8. Why? Well, old Pig was allowed to exist in the first place, but also the only recently-changed Monitor and Abuse, which used to alter your TR by either 6 or 7 meters. The most damning evidence against this 8-meter increment idea, however, is the fact that Myers in tier I has a 6-meter heartbeat, and I’m pretty sure that he has since October of 2016—over 2 and a half years ago.
(Also, doesn’t Ghostface’s leaked Perk give you tokens that affect your TR in increments of 4 meters?)
•On a personal note, I'm not too sure about increasing the base mending time. While I get where you're coming from, it starts to feel really awful when you get stuck in an endless loop of mending.
Several things.
Firstly, no Legion is going to Frenzy you so much that you’ll be stuck in an “endless loop” unless you make incredibly dumb decisions like continuously healing against Legion.
Secondly, as I emphasized in my first post, just because you have Deep Wound doesn’t mean you need to mend—quite the opposite, in fact. As long as the Legion is within that substantially large 32-meter radius from you, you literally don’t need to mend. The Legion can hardly force you to be constantly mending when it’s not even a necessity most of the time.
Thirdly—and the only point of yours that genuinely irritates me—why should I have to stack a purple and green addon just so mending can actually divert Survivors from gens? That’s stupid. They’re called “addons” for a reason; I should run them for a boost or an edge, not to allow my power to do what it’s ######### DESIGNED to do at base.

.., And this is an epic gamer moment.

I kinda wanna see a Myers outfit based on the one he wore when he killed Judith, oddly enough. I know he was 6 in that scene, but I’m pretty sure Amanda’s black outfit is something that Detective Hoffman wore and not her, so eh.
-
No, it is no longer bannable because yes, they fixed the issue.

I felt the need to make a statement about all this ridiculous hate, and I'd like RSB to hear it. I just want to offer him my sympathies, so if one of you could tweet this at him or something (as I don't have a Twitter), that'd be great. I just want to reach out to the guy and apologize on behalf of the DBD community, ya feel?
Also I know I got his name wrong; my mistake.

Legion is still a very annoying killer. Nothing needs to chance atm.
How is he still annoying? Sure, the first hit is basically free if you're his first target, but outside of that, that's all that's really "annoying" about his power. Mending is not a threat and only takes 15 seconds, and now he has no choice but to down you legitimately—i.e. his only option is to be better at the game than you are. Compare that to, say, Trapper, whose entire power as well as overcoming it when you fall for it is 100% based on RNG rather than skill and renders you immobile and waiting for death to come the longer you stay unlucky for; or Nurse, who can literally ignore every single line of defense you could ever throw at her; or Doctor, whose shocks can briefly take away your entire ability to defend yourself in a chase; and I'd say Legion 2.0 is definitely one of the less irritating Killers to go against.
-
I forgot to mention: I do want to share this with @Peanits so that this can hopefully be seen by BHVR, for obvious reasons.
-
I honestly think MoM should be reworked to be situational; we don't need any more one-size-fits-all, always-applicable, always-strong Perks on either side. That said, here's my idea for a rework.
After performing a safe hook rescue on another Survivor, this Perk activates.
The next time you would be put into the dying state straight from the healthy state, you will instead be put into the injured state.
This Perk deactivates after it is used and must be activated again for continued uses.
Mettle of Man can only be used 1/2/3 time(s) per match.
-
She’s literally just a worse version of the PTB Legion right now. She doesn’t need a nerf.

I’ve been really, really digging Hope as of late. That 7% movement speed bonus may not seem like much, but in a chase it cuts the rate at which a 115% Killer catches up to you almost in half. It also just feels a bit nicer to run around with that extra speed.
Personally, I like the old Hope more, where the speed bonus was slower but lasted forever once it was activated, but that’s just me.

Let me guess, r/dbdgonewild?

Well I do but I'm kinda having second thoughts
Like don't get me wrong I need to see it to believe it but believe it or not I don't want to look at a comic of Jeff sexually assaulting Susie

Right now it's No Mither, Resilience, This Is Not Happening, and Spine Chill. The ultimate genrush Mither build.
Resilience and Spine Chill makes gens go faster, and Spine Chill also makes skill checks more likely, meaning that I can get more great skill checks than ever before thanks to TINH. And of course, Spine Chill is a great Perk for avoiding and keeping tabs on the Killer.
-
Being allowed to play the game I spent 30 dollars on.
Unfortunately, the devs don’t want that.

Ace is everyone’s dad

Susanne is woketh and bespoketh
Anyone who doesn’t like Susanne makes me want to commit tiny laugh

My most unpopular opinion?
Ash was a worse addition to the game than Legion was.
If you play Ash, you aren't deserving of the tile of "human being".
