  • Another rage post on the General Forums. Sigh

    in Fixthecamp Comment by Nick
  • Just follow my rule. Tbag or click with flashlight = facecamp

  • It's the most viable way to play unfortunately. The only benefit you get from hooking someone is the 3rd hook... when they die. You know, one survivor less so less gens done. Whats the point in hooking someone twice? After the suvivors gets healed he's brand new.

Maybe you shouldn't camp then lmao.

Maybe you should comment after reading the post. r/whoosh

    "r/whoosh" i just contracted cancer

  • This post looks so agressive. I even read this in a shouting voice

  • Maybe you shouldn't camp then lmao.

  • This is high ranks for ya.

  • Looks like a fun way to play

  • Another rage post

  • Ok? Thanks for letting us know? It's the most viable strat, it's like a survivor using decisive strike, but its viable.

  • Because the game wants you to camp or tunnel unfortunately. It's just the most viable way to play if you want to stay at high ranks. You've seen the tournament. Everyone not playing nurse got absolutely destroyed, except for 1 camping Huntress. She 4K'd

  • "gg" only fits in the same sentence as "EZ". So as long as it wasnt "ez" you wont get a gg

  • Someone complaining about BBQ always blows my mind. Survivors cry about camping but the only perk rewarding killers to move away from the hook is "OP" and needs a nerf.

  • You're the killer, you're the power role. Your choice man! Did they really succeed to get into your head? You're the power role! Be dominant!

  • Another rage post by a new player who just got rekt by the nurse. I have one tip. Git Gud.

  • Maybe a step, or lean towards you. Atleast the hallucinations should have a red glow, just like the killer

  • This week is Brand New Part week. You've got to survive for atleast a week

  • I agree with Kate

  • Do people really use Premonition and Spine Chill? There are much better perks out there, feels like a wasted perk slot.

  • The survivors were kinda clueless though. Nurse at that rank you shreds trough everything

  • Maybe make Ruin a build-in perk? So you can use 4 different perks but Ruin is just always there for every killer?

  • Yeah you cant teleport now. You should be able to. Kappa

It's kind of crazy how 1 character model has an advantage over the others

Ikr, when people tell me "all the survivors are the same" I always LOL.
Because claudette is small and black with black clothes with self care as starters perk. She's the best.

Well I'm a high rank player myself 4-1 and I just got reported for beeing too good I think...
I ran bbq & chilli and I supose that other players call it wallhacks.
Has anyone else encountered this before? :D

Yeah many times.. The obvious "WALLHACK! You knew where i was everytime!!!!" is kinda lame. Just ignore them, there is no way you can get banned.

  • Hope is a rather strong Perk with its current percentages, people underestimate the extra-distance that is takes Killers to catch up to a Survivor running Hope, it will oftentimes decide if one reaches the exit or not.

There's a reason no one is using it though ;/ There are better perks out there.

I see a lot of requests for that No Mither buff, I'm surprised that I get that many negatives now.

It should give a bloodpoint bonus as its a challange using it. (Just like the 2 hit chainsaws 100% bp)

As for Beast Of Prey, since it still activates with Bloodlust, which means 15 seconds of a chase and you losing out on points, I don't think that it would be too strong.

Removing the red glow is kinda big in chases. It would become a new meta perk, I don't really mind. But its going to be the best perk in the game after Ruin.

    • Alert, Bond, Plunderer's Instinct, Premonition, Spine Chill: buff the ranges to 24/32/40 metres, the base ranges are too low.

This is a nerf for Premonition im pretty sure? Because it will proc. too many times when he's not even coming for you.

    • Hope: reduce the numbers to 3/4/5 % and remove the cool-down timer.

Just remove the cool-down. No one is going to use it anyways.

    • No Mither: make the Survivor start off as healthy, then apply the No Mither effect upon the first hit, has no effect on Thanatophobia

This takes away the power of No Mither. Combining it with Resillience etc. Now you have to find the killer first to even get the bonus.

    • Windows Of Opportunity: remove the cool-down or reduce it to the same values as Quick & Quiet.

    Nah it's fine.

    • Beast Of Prey: remove the cool-down, there's no good reason for having one.

Devs tested this and they said that it would be way too strong. But I agree, 2 minutes is too long.

    • Make Your Choice: make the icon light up when out of the specified range, like Devour Hope

And don't let the survivor know that he's exposed untill he gets hit? So you will always have that first suprise down like Devour

I agree with all the others :+1:

  • "Still a thing" ????? It's part of the game now. Everything is balanced around looping. The maps, the perks, the killers, the killers abilities. They cant remove it

  • Jup, its working!

  • Trapper and Hag. Because I always have a feeling that i can trigger a trap at any time

  • @SadonicShadow said:
I am for sure going to be giving this perk a test drive. With the changes to selfcare where stopping the heal resets the progress sloppy butcher is going to be amazing. It will keep the survivors occupied quite a bit as they try to heal. Now imagine cancer doc with 2 calm addons, distressing, claustrophobia, sloppy butcher and nurses calling. No more healing, its going to be delicious.

Might try this out you know!

  • Its not a viable perk people dont really use it

  • @Sn0wJob said:
The bag buffs are nice, but was the diamond stone nerf really needed -__-

Trapper add ons are not getting a nerf, the one which opens up a trap every 20 seconds is actually really good

  • You are quite what? Hungry?

in I quite Comment by Nick
  • That looks like a fun way to play...

  • Just leave the chat instantly? Or just dont look at it. No one is forcing you to look at it or to reply. Let the salty survivors be salty, don't give them attention. Don't reply.

  • It literally said on stream "NOT IN MID PATCH" and people are already complaining lol

Still useless to anyone with eyes and common sense. It's really not hard to locate gens. Only map that gives me trouble is Game but that map is garbo anyway.

The game, really? Just find the big ass closed doors. There's always a gen next to it.

I mean that it's a pain in the ass to move around on that map before gens get done. Sometimes the little door is open, other times you literally have to go completely around. And everything looks the same so it's confusing to me.

Yes but its not difficult to find gens. Just look for the big doors

Lol that said "end your own life" in different words that are apparently not allowed on these forums.

oooooh good, thought it said "f----cking" on the hook lol

You can't drop a pallet and then scratch your balls with Self Care while waiting for the killer to break it?

Be honest, you didn't care about the 1% progress you made anyway, you just wanted to grief him.

Always found that weird, why do survivor tap their self care while you're breaking a pallet. As if that 1% is going to change anything

  • This game will always favor the survaivors.

Trust me on this. Assymetrical (4vs1) game will always favor who play the most. Lets say 65% of player base choose survaivors all the time. I have seen it in Evolve and I am seeing it again in DBD. I feel that DBD devs acknowledge it. And I think this is why we keep seeing valuable perks each time starting from DS to keep hunters alive for the longest time possible. Along with that we see a drastic change in playerbase.

Here you're saying that the game is unbalanced, which is it.
And at the end of your post, you're asking for tournaments.
A game which is not balanced, should NOT have a tournament. We've all seen it yesterday, it was 1 big unbalanced mess.

Ignore first post decided to post before I was finished!

Everyone can agree biggest problems are gen rushing and looping so I think there may be a may to combat both, just an idea.

What if while the killer is in a chase the generator progression was reduced by 50% for all survivors. What I mean is, if one player is in a chase with the killer all other survivors would receive a 50% speed penalty on gen progression.

This means that you're punishing players that are playing good. You should 'punish' players who are playing bad / making bad plays. Make it so that the player getting unhooked gets a gen repair speed de-buff. Instead of the players not getting caught getting a de-buff.

I also had an idea for a hex perk that would only let one gen be worked on at once? For instance at stage 1 only 3 gens can be progressed at one point in time, stage 2 only 2 gens can be progressed and at stage 3 only one gen can be worked on. This would not effect how many people could work on gens only how many gens could be worked on at same time, so if you did run stage 3 and only one gen could be progressed there's nothing to stop everyone doing that one gen although obviously it would make more sense to find the totem. This also would not be as easy to combat as ruin as gen tapping and perfect skills checks for skilled survivors would not work.

Sounds interesting with a bit of tweaking, maybe a rework for Ruin?

  • Looping is a part of the game now. Everything (perks, killers etc etc.) is getting balanced around how the game is now, so with looping. A way to balance pallet looping is by removing so called 'save pallets' (pallets where no mindgame is possible, you HAVE to break it). They're trying to fix it on a few maps by reducing the field of view, so bigger boxes in loops so that you cant see the killer.

And gen rushing. There is no such thing called gen rushing. The only objective a survivor has when he starts a round is repairing gens, that's the only way you're going to escape. However, the probem is, the gens go to fast for the killer to win a chase. After every chase, 2 gens are done on average. The way to 'counter' it is by using Hex Ruin (its a necessity). And hope that Ruin doesnt get destroyed within your first minute, which will happen, trust me.
The streamer Tru3Ta1ent has an interesting idea. = Every survivor that gets unhooked, gets a repair speed de-buff. So going after fresh survivors actually helps, so you can de-buff the entire team. The way it is now, after a survivor gets unhooked and healed, it will be just another fresh survivor. The only way youre benefiting from hooking survivors is after the 3rd hook. You know, 1 player less means less gens done.

So for looping: Remove save pallets, make it so every pallet has a mindgame.
'Gen rushing': De-buff survivors gen speed after getting unhooked

  • They pick a rank in the middle. Doesnt matter who invites. If you want to bully low ranks just team up with a few rank 20s and you're good to go.

  • Hahahahahaha!!!!!!

  • They said on the dev stream that it actually doesnt do anything

  • Just leave the chat instantly? Problem solved. I like the end game chat because I can ask the killer questions if he's seen me or not or something like that. And give him props when he didn't camp. Just leave the chat, no one is forcing you to stay
