Claudettes Cosmetics too dark.

Just wondering some of Claudettes cosmetics are really dark and its hard to see her when hiding in shadows and datk corners. What does everyone think about this?

    Her P3 clothes are dark too so i don't really care about the other cosmetics

    But her charcoal outfit is pitch black in the dark parts of a map

    Ikr, when people tell me "all the survivors are the same" I always LOL.
    Because claudette is small and black with black clothes with self care as starters perk. She's the best.

    I think i’m a game where everybody want survivors to play stealthy, every survivor should get outfits like that.. but killers always complain, that’s why they changed the black L4D shirt and put that red on it, because people complained it’s too dark especially if it’s a claudette..

    Next balance patch they change Claudettes skin tone. I don't know what they can do to make her less OP.

    As you said they should try and give darker clothing options to other survivors. Let all survivors be op then adjust balance from that.

    Big body survivors should also get a wiggle advantage like 9 wiggles instead of 10 to escape grasp

    One thing is being able to hide from the killer and a completely different is being invisible on certain maps. I had a match as claudette and was hiding in tall grass in front of the shack. Trapper came and set a trap at my position without seing me, then the trap snapped.

    Mothers dwelling is really good for claudette. Literally every grassy area is covered in shade. Maybe if there were more inside maps it would help wink wink wink.

    Okay new idea: Muslim woman in burka, totally black can't see her anywhere, but she's also really petite. Cosmetic options include different style cloth, maybe camo patterns or some colorful tie-dyes for variety. The premium skin is fox-eared hoodie/pajamas (still wearing cloth mask over face for propriety). No more forced Claudette, people can wear bright outfits if chosen, and more diverse in cast. It's a WIN all around :)

    Careful with how you phrase stuff, Race and skin colour is one of those things which may offend. Best to avoid talking in too much depth these topics. I get the point you're making but again...bit of a grey area.

    I think this is just a race thing. Honestly I picked up Claudette when I started because she looked fairly normal. Then I realised on Friday the 13th the Game I had more fun as Vanessa. And now it's come to a point where I think I only have fun as black characters... Or, oddly, I like the clothing options that are given to them. And it's not a sexual thing either. If it was a black male... It'd be a different story though. Actually, I want a black character. But not the jock type that's always present in media... Like, look at games, shows... There always tends to be a black athletic character... Why can't we have a black Dwight? Not all nerds are Dwhite.

    I feel so racist. Ew.

    Its more of a stereotype than racism, a lot of people assume black people are more athletic. Opinions wary. I dunno if Vanessa was based off of a specific character in the Friday the 13th franchise. Friday was from the 80s. They were so racist back then. Today we live in a more cival time, even though it may not seem like it.

    Try lowering the graphics, the difference between ultra and Low is mostly lighten up the dark spots and rendering less shadows. Helped me finding cheeky claudettes.

    Sorry. But I think Vanessa is a character created by Gun. They haven't added a black character though that wasn't one of two things:
    Fast
    Strong

    I hope we get more creative characters. Kate is a wonderful addition given her unique design. I'm kind of holding out for a hooded survivor... That'd be nice.

    Her charcoal top got replaced by a light-gray top when the update was released.

    Unless it’s blatantly saying a race is worse or superior, it’s not racism. And offense is determined by the beholder, no need to be gentle with words. Just say what you want to say.

    Gurl. Please. I can just imagine the perks for him/her. I mean, imagine if they had perks that promoted a solo play style... A progression boost based on the distance from other survivors and the killer. Or maybe more obsession perks... Who knows. We will just have to wait and see.

    Because David King has a 'light complexion' and Claudette has a much darker. Sorry if I'm being overly cautious with how I phrase sensitive talking points😃 just wanna keep the discussion as civil and friendly as possible. Trigger words ignite peoples temper so I try to avoid them😂.

    I don't see the point in prestiging anymore. Cosmetics are much better than bloody clothing.

    Only if you want to look nice. The bloodied clothing can make you almost invisible at times... Though I have found I'm much happier when wearing the brighter clothing options. Besides, I already have my eyes set on buying Claudette's Fog Traveller set.

    Weird question but how does the skirt work, physics wise? Does it have an opening like Meg's and move around or is it just sort of stuck to her?

    I can't remember exactly but i think it has an opening but it diesnt swing around like crazy when she moves. Test it in the store its nowhere near as flappy as megs from memory.

    Well you'll see it before you buy it. Take a good look at it when it's up. Pretty decent. I can't say for sure if it's something everyone would like but you be the judge.

    okay, you’re right. I don’t play killer too often and just assumed that because as I said it seems like killers would only see me because of their light.. but still as I said it’s supposed to be a hiding game right? but if survivors can’t really hide it’s pointless and they loop all day.. that’s just my opinion and you obviously can have another one :)

    People complain about Claudette but have no issues when it's Gideons, Leroy's farms maps etc. Also if you're a smart killer you cough look in those dark areas looking cough downward. The same is true for the p3 Megs etc.

    Claudette is the literally impossible to see with her cosmetics which are the same colour as dirt and then in the dark as well she is even harder to see. So many times I've just crouched in a shadow and the killer is left confused. I've always mained claudette so its a nice advantage to have but I know for sure it's hard on the killer facing one of these cheeky Claudettes

    Funny thing is, her brown outfit is way stealthier than that black one.

    Its a game of cat and mouse really. Do gens while killer is away. Run for your life otherwise. Hiding is a part of the game but not the primary objective. Make the most out of Claudettes cosmetics before they're tweaked.

    I've been able to do the same but really good killers at higher ranks know where to look on any map if they see a dark outfitted or more Claudette. The real sneaky ones are the P3 Legacy Megt's/Nea's/Claudette's since on some maps they're super ahd to find. That's even knowing where to look because they know if you're a good killer they sneak off while you went and looked for where they were just at.

    Two years later and they STILL refuse to fix her despite being blatantly broken - and they say this game is "balanced". Bull-#########-#########. Easy fix -- remove all of her dark-toned clothes. Give her neutral to bright colors. Has absolutely zero to do with "changing her skin tone". It's her clothes. Balance her out by giving her brighter cosmetics and removing her darker ones completely so people can't just "choose" to run them anyway.
