No - they aren't. Unsure why yours are appearing on Steam, they don't appear there for me and I unlocked them back when Steve/Nancy were available.
They were replaced by the following achievements:
First to the Punch (Killer)
Tools of the Trade (Killer)
Expert Generalist (Survivor)
Skilled Generalist (Survivor)
I got this achievement, but it says 0/8? Which I am confused by
-
Monitor and Abuse, Whispers, Enduring and BBQ. You can swap out BBQ for Spirit Fury or Brutal Strength.
Not having Enduring on Pig is... just unplayable to me
-
Pig and Huntress kinda. I play killer very sporadically though, kinda makes it harder to keep that understanding.
-
Demogorgon, Pig, Billy (without instasaw addons), Bubba.
Huntress can be pretty fun sometimes as well, same with Nurse.
-
There won't be one until the end of the PTB I believe.
-
Probably because the halloween event (2018) showed that it would be a bad idea/hard to balance.
-
My survivor, probably. Depends on my teammates. I would give up on myself rather quick, and go for the weaker links first.
-
Probably not, but I will wait until the PTB to see. They are probably going to scrap it or buff it during it.
Have to wait and see.
-
How little do you play survivor that you do not notice it being ######### atm?
Edit: forgot the about the filter. Bad Word = messed up

Using it puts you on the ground?
Or using it, it not going off, getting exhausted and hit.
You HAVE to clarify, or people will think using a perk is injuring you.
I don't think anyone would think that? That makes no sense.

I use it every day actually just fine.
Are you on console?

This is a problem with latency. It has always been there but it's just more prominent now that dedicated servers are active on PC. You don't actually get exhausted, it is only a visual bug on your client.
No, before it used to be you dead hard and sometimes you would get hit through it, very rarely would you actually be left exhausted on the ground.
Now, if you time it, what would have been perfect before dedicated servers, you just go down exhausted consistently, I very much doubt it is a visual bug.

I don't think Dead Hard has been mentioned by the devs recently, at least not in any "official" capacity like a dev stream (and I say this as the person who's been doing the aforementioned type-ups of the last two livestreams).
Which problem are you referring to, exactly? Just for clarity's sake, so we're all on the same page about what's being discussed here.
Pressing Dead Hard and ending up exhausted on the ground.
-
Not voting. It isn't her sole issue.

Here's the problem:
Survivors lose out on teamwork, but can still grind out a lotta BPs.
Killer loses out on Hunter BP, Sacrifice BP, a good amount of Brutality and Deviousness too depending on the Killer.
That's not mentioning the fact that often times, if one survivor DCs, multiple survivors will start DCing.
...What?
Survivors lose the possibility to win the match. Unless the killer is actually new to the game, you won't win a 3v1 with 5 gens left. And you won't be able to 'grind' points at all, because you will be under constant pressure from being in that 3v1.
-
HybridPanda, DemiPlays, No0b3.
-
Trying to buff it the wrong way I guess. Or trying to make it seem like it got buffed.
The perk needs a rework honestly.

zero creativity with this new addons. they made perks to addons and spit on ppl who play for so long now. good job, you never disappoint to disappoint your community bhvr.
Zero creativity? You must be joking surely.

Nope. But the DLC is worth it for Jeff.
-
How is this a bug report?
-
I'm just glad she doesn't sound anything like Jane.
-
Disagree. The best ones to start with are Claudette and Meg.
Meg because of her Sprint Burst, which is easy to use, but also because of Adrenaline which is a really strong perk.
And then Claudette due to Self-care, but also because Empathy and Botany Knowledge are solid perks to start with.
-
No one has been banned doing it so far. It is extremely unlikely to get banned from this.
-
Leatherface. He is only good in the basement and pretty bad everywhere else.
Pig is not even close to being the worst killer.
-
I used to always play solo, but the higher up the ladder I go, the more unenjoyable solo survivor becomes.
Playing with friends I know what they can or can not do. So I know what to expect. I know they will do generators while I am being chased, I know I will be saved of the hook, and I know that they will try and save me even if there is a risk to their life. (A lot of times teammates open the gate and run out immediately.)
-
I honestly just think they should include it in the tutorial.
-
I thought her dash not being a basic attack was always a thing. It didn't give stacks for MoM.

Well, that would be because there is NO Perk to counter Dead Hard.
???
You don't need a perk to counter Dead Hard. You can just bait it out?

Except he didn't?
He did though. He specified saying they were looking at the addons, not the killers base power.
-
Because I like outsmarting my opponent, managing resources, thinking ahead of what is to come, plan accordingly.
As killer, I don't feel like I outsmart survivors a lot. And I can't seem to be bothered to get back to a rank where I can do that more often.
I just find it so boring, after 2/3 games of killer I am bored, while as a survivor I can play 10 games and not feel bored.
-
Freddy is OP.
I started out playing this game in KYF with my friends. And my friend had bought the Freddy DLC. We remember just thinking #########, how are we supposed to know where he is, he is invisible! So unfair! One friend (who plays only Dwight) just hid in lockers all game against 'm
Once I actually started playing online, and reading up on his abilities I started understanding how to counter him.

@DrDeepwound said:
Why? the answer is simple, they have reached enough survivors vs killers to actually finally go ahead and announce the nurse will be altered. They will downplay it by using words like "slightly" etc, but we all know what happens when devs look at something.
Slightly will turn into 15+ changes that they didnt even intend on but will "while we were there we noticed that and felt this needed changing"
Horvath said on the dev stream specifically that they would only be looking at her addons. Not at her power itself. So base Nurse will be fine.
-
It was essentially buffed, not nerfed.
DS and Head on are not affected by Enduring, and in return you get a 1 second stun instead of a 1.14 second stun.
Considering I am never bothered by either perk I see it as a buff.

Have you actually used Premonition before? Like, ever?
It's not just about the add-on, it's also about the Phase Walk itself. If you don't want to use an extremely useful perk that counters every invisible killer and killer who can hide their TR except the Shape at EWI, that's on you, though.
There are many things that have no gameplay counter. I'd mention some, but you'd just pretend they have gameplay counters, just like you're pretending Premonition is a bad perk.
Hi, former premonition gamer here. Premonition is only good if you are a new survivor. It becomes near useless when you are not.
-
Unnecessary imo. The game should not compensate for players choosing fashion over survivability imo.
Easiest way for bright clothes to not be a problem is to be good at chases. (Also pallet management and all the stuff that comes with it.)

Because it's easier to call something OP rather than learning how to beat them.
Learning how to beat Prayer Beads? The reason it is so OP is because there is no counter to it.

I don't like his voice, would play him a lot more if it wasn't for that.

I have seen Quentins, Lauries, David Tapps… but there's one survivor I have NEVER, and I mean NEVER seen in my lobby. Survivor or Killer. And that survivor is Bill. He's so underplayed, and I have no clue why, he's awesome. But in my lobbies, I never seen a single Bill...
Going to play more DbD *Gets on Xbox because doesn't have PC version*
Because he has no cosmetics other than his p3.

Go for the unhooker?
Pressure generators? Pretty easy counters to it.

Legion needed some changes but let's be real, they were bad at doing their job. I had much better success at hooking people with some mid tier killers at higher ranks. I played Legion because I loved how they look and some of their playstyle. I doubt it is even playable now at all. Unless you want to just run around and stab people without killing them.
A lot of people find them better now. It just takes a bit of thinking now to use them.

Unless the entity enhanced my stamina, nope.
-
Eh, I used to. But so many dcs I just can't be bothered anymore. I just play the game, albeit not sweaty, just to get it done with.
-
Yeah, I am a bit annoyed with that change as well.
It removes a bit of skill from a chase.
-
- Nurse
- Spirit
- Huntress
- Hag
- Pig
- Legion
- Plag
-
It is strong yes, but it is not OP. Simply due to it being able to cuck a survivor as well. Adrenaline leaves a survivor exhausted. Which means, once they get Adrenaline they can't use Dead Hard/Lithe/Sprint Burst and some of Balanced Landing. Which makes chases easier on the killer at the Endgame, knowing they are exhausted.
-
Pig. As killer and survivor.
Leatherface as survivor. And Hillbilly as survivor.
When playing survivor, Bubba's and Pig's tend to be super boosted. To the point where it is actually funny.
Being chased by a Hillbilly can be exciting. Especially if it is a Hillbilly with beast marks that is very chainsaw happy. (On the opposite side is Hillbilly with charge/cooldown addons, not fun to verse at all.)

@YaiPa said:
It depends what you mean with viable. If you mean they can still 4k, probably only nurse, huntress, billy (but with q and e steering tec), and spirit. But if you mean that addonless they're pretty much the same than with addons, i would add pig (since all of her trap addons are now trash, and they adjusted her ambush so combat strap+video tape isnt so game changing), and hag.
When did they adjust her ambush?
Like I have a lot to say about most of what you just said, but that is the main thing I am confused about?
They changed her Combat Straps while buffing her crouching speed. I did not see anything about changing her ambush or how video tape works.
-
Eh, I think she is.
