Saying every red rank is 'best' is invalid.

Playing killer is as easy as playing survivor, and has never been this easy.
Inv me and my team.

I've been playing survivor only for 2 weeks now. Gave up on the Killer part after 4800 hours
-
to kick a survivor who's trying to unhook you. But they talked about this on stream that you can bully people with it to get your friend a free unhook

You mean double pallets?
Also, I don't remember flashlights being buffed... unless this was like 2016-2017-early 2018.
You could blind/stun at any moment in the animation for it to work. Instead of timing it

@Loey said:
why Jeff have only 7%...
Because he's old and he's got a humongous belly
-
The random patch where flashlight saves and pallet saves got buffed. That was fun
-
Bait? Surely?
-
THIS "This killer is totally unfun and frustrating to play against, especially for casual players" is a dangerous sentence to use. Devs actually might look into this now.
-
Too slow to pressure big maps
-
@TheBean said:
The game already has been won. Killers need to stop conditioning themselves in that they are to get a 4K to win.
Survivors see escaping as a win. And devs nerf killers if the escape %age is too low, but you can win without escaping. So your reason doesnt make sense
-

Idea is great, but they just make too many mistakes
-
He got changed and now he got nerfed. So should be
-
No, because the devs think that killers are being played by AI.
Every patch note says "... nerfed because it's annoying to play against for new players" and then they list a few things survivors dont like. (Dream world, annoying to play against. Doc shocks annoying to play against. Ruin annoying to play against)

We are playing the same game but in two different teams
Weird that, isn't it? A split community like this
-
Nice bait
-
Probably. Survivors kept on DCing vs Spirit and Nurse... so yes?
-
- "It is less useful in the early game, but very useful in the late" ----- "The hex persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing" OKAY
- Every change is because it is "annoying to play AGAINST" (freddy's dream world, doc shocks, ruin) who? what? for survivors? Killers are also humans you know. Killers are not AI
- "This version of the perk has many benefits... >lists three things that aren't even benefits for killer
- "We've noticed almost all killers are using this perk. Rather than looking into why this might be the case or potentially addressing any fundamental issues with our design, we've decided to rework the perk in the hopes of reducing its pickrate. No, we aren't addressing the fact that it's literally the exact same story for Decisive Strike, because survivors are better than you. Enjoy dealing with the sound issues!!!"
-
Killer mains, killer mains, killers mains.
NO! Dead by Daylight players! EVERYONE IS PLAYING THE SAME FKING GAME
-
@senki527 said:
stop crying, you got 1000 of survivor nerfs already. Balanced landing, self care, exhaustion, pallet vacuum etc.
You act like those things shoulve been in the game in the first place.
- Pallet vacuum getting removed? I mean comon dude you cant list that
-
They act like Killers are being played by AI, and all the players are playing as survivor.
Same with Hex Ruin nerf:
""This version of the perk has many benefits" >lists three things that aren't even benefits for killer

You took Ormond for that reason.
The problem isnt ruin there : it's the map itself.
So instead of reworking maps and base gen speed lets nerf the most used perk (80%) in red ranks. Might be a reason why its used that much, no? Lets nerf nurse, spirit, freddy, legion and oni first. Now ruin, and f- those sound issues for killers.

well someone will have to go for that hooked survivor, soooo it will do something
So if im a Huntress on Ormond or Thompsons I should just accept 2 or 3 gens in the first minute just because the devs want more fun for new players (survivors)

...again, like old ruin, so what's the matter
Atleast if it stays for like a minute you have a minute to get hooks. Now it doesnt even do anything in the early stages of the game.

In case the killer pushes you off. If they show up at your generator and start chasing you, it's going to regress (and fast). The only way you can prevent that is by cleansing the totem, otherwise you're taking that risk for the whole game. Otherwise if they hook a survivor, you need to choose between getting the unhook and losing progress or finishing the generator.
So its only useful in the endgame! BUT PEOPLE CAN LITERALLY SPAWN ON IT! You wont have your Hex by that time!

I rarely watch streamers these days, but I happened to be watching Umbras a little last night. Coincidentally, there was a Jake who definitely was hacking or something. He had no hitbox, just sat on a gen while she repeatedly swung at him. Might be the same guy, I do remember his name...but probably can’t say. Started with an “A”.
yeah after a while he did the same. repairing a gen and i couldnt hit him.
Might be the same guy

You got outplayed, sorry. New survivor get up and dodge tech.
Lmao poor Hillbilly, you got mad bp though, did he escape?
yeah he noclipped through the door lol 😂

me too LOL but i'll take the brutality points
-
Everyone can be toxic. You'd not think this. But killers are being played by humans, just like survivors
-
This is bait
-
Keep DCing. You might get him nerfed like Spirit and Nurse
-
That last sentence kinda ruins your legitimacy
-
Agreed
-
Wraith is ######### and he got an indirect nerf when they nerfed spirit fury on him where you can camp pallets vs him now
-
Isnt Wraith without perks and add ons like F tier?
-
They all DCed after their first down, not at the start :(

I cannot agree with a basekit nerf, played with just the basekit no addons for over 700 hours, and it's basically a staple for balance.
The biggest "problem" is, in the combination of addons. Not one addon in particular. If they wanted to nerf or get rid of Moonshine, I won't cry. If they made it so Primer bulb and Tuning Guide couldn't stack, that would fine. One addon of charge time decrease is plenty.
Like I said, the basekit is very balanced, altering it to extremely is what makes it a "problem". Even though, there are some people who just need to genuinely get better.
Add on changes with a sliiiiiiiight nerf to his basekit ;)
Sounds familiar ?
-
Everyone should DC vs any killer, just nerf them all. They all should be Wraiths level. Loopable bully material. Right
-
Perk has so many counters, dont see a reason to nerf it again
-
I hate how the community gets their way by just DCing all the time. First nurse, now spirit. Nerfing everyone into the ground til theres no one left. While SWF teams run 80 all escape streaks at the highest level. Mental stuff...
-
@InfinyMage said:
This isnt the only factor they said the use as a lever for balancing though...
And this is not actually surprising that its ONE of the things they look at. Alot of games that arent just Shooters or the like like to balance specific champions, heroes, legends (etc etc etc) for a 50 to 55%
its the middle..
You Should have a 50 percent chance to win or lose. But its not just that. Theres perks you can run which dictate. Theres the skill level of said real life players your up against ingame. Etc.
My curiousity is honestly how they use their SWF data as a balance lever. Im ok with it these days. But how is that factored into the goal they are trying to achieve when creating killers. Or choosing to nerf/buff them.
"... is still a part of" i said. I know its not the only factor. Its still weird

@KillermainBTWm8 said:
And how does the pip reward you?
I win if the game tells me i won
-
2 kill 2 escapes sounds good but doesnt work. The killer depips, while all 4 survivors can pip that game.
-
Theyre all quite easy. But for survivor 'open the gate' daily can be annoying and the Ghostface one
-
Something different as well. I want to play old DBD version in KYF
-
This tier list is veeeeeeery suspicious.
-
BBQ has so many counters that you cant call it OP...

@Mochan said:
You can see them through walls, too. So it's a double-edged sword. In the end, it turns the bout into a real contest of skill. Using OOO is not a free win. If you don't have the skill to back it up it becomes your own grave. Using OOO forces a showdown between you and the killer.
Also you completely nullify BT, which is a big deal.
You can loop Freddy though, freddy cant loop survivors.
Seeing killers as a survivor is much much much stronger than the other way around (especially with SWF call outs)
