in the days of old ruin I could only get about half of great skill checks, I found the couple seconds of inability to repair them while sputtering WAY more damning and it pretty much stopped cooperating on gens.
-
I don't think "The ping pong strategy" is tunneling but then again most survivor players claim that "hooking any survivor at least twice for any reason" is tunneling
-
over 30 votes and NOBODY has said killer... I bet some people would if dead hard didn't exist
-
the moment I saw the angry title I KNEW it had to do with dead hard. (guess why I don't feel a sense of reward or satisfaction for playing killer)
-
Clemetine, The walking dead.
Making sacrifices: We all have someone special that we care about. Decreases your odds of being the obsession. When the obsession is on death hook and you've been hooked 1 or less times you can transfer a hook state from the obsession to yourself. You suffer from the exposed status effect for 30 seconds and reveal your aura to the killer for 15/12/10 seconds.
Teach me to shoot: Decreases your odds of being the obsession. When repairing a generator with the obsession you both have no speed penalty for cooperating. See the auras of the generator the obsession is repairing within 32/40/48 meters.
Aim for the head: Start the trial with 1/2/3 tokens. When you stun the killer by any means, consume a token and increase the stun time by 2 seconds. This perk has a cooldown of 80 seconds.

Clearly they WANT players to torture themselves and piss of their team mates or they wouldn't have made such stupid and outlandish challenges in the FIRST place.

there's an add on that lets you see blood and you can hear footsteps, grass and crows still. "you won't hear that well without a headset..." Why would you PLAY spirit without a headset?

If they have voice acting i hope they make it as stereotypical as possible.
The accent is adorable
did you get the pun...?

I got a thing for country guys, so I wouldn't mind if they made him the stereotypical country bumpkin
Hillbilly would fit it much better though
-
first character i'm gonna go through is Huntress. If they add DLC characters to romance a couple ideas I have are Deathslinger as the rebel type and Nurse as the shy and selfless, overly caring type (she works in medicine...)

we need more ugly survivors, I want an bald fat man in a vest
Maybe when we get Wesker we'll get Barry as a survivor.
-
No earlier than code veronica but i'm putting my bet on R.E. 5. Chris is a legendary skin, so I think we'll get Sheva Alomar as a survivor. If they add a second survivor then perhaps we'll see Barry Burton. If they ALSO get extra character skins we could have Brad Vickers and Rebecca Chambers.

You literally have an unconditional dash that you can use to greed a pallet or window vault with 0 repercussions for doing so. There is no timing involved in running towards a pallet, pressing the E key, and dropping the pallet at all.
This rework would change this though. You DON'T get the distance without a good timed use.

The problem is not avoiding the hit, it is the distance gain.
They couldn't get the distance without good timing though

could you clarify how dodging a killer attack works? Like do you just stand in place and perform a dodge animation or do you still dash?
the duck occurs but you screw it up with bad timing and you stumble from it and are then hindered instead.

Looks to me like the manor is the main building while another major landmark could be a greenhouse (perhaps killer shack will be stylized in this way) I also suspect that we could see apple trees, tomato bushes and pumpkin patches. Maybe the exit gates will have little vines around the leaver with little flowers on them. What do you think?

And all of these are countered by pressing E
That is NOT TRUE! Xbox uses A and PlayStation uses X to negate the reward and satisfaction of playing well for killers...
-
dead hard nearly bricks your computer/console
-
the only time I EVER brought a map was for like ONE rift challenge involving marking items.
-
The leave lobby option exists for a reason.
-
I only use it combined with resilience, spine chill and wake up or counterforce as a stealth rusher build. Perk is legendarily awful outside of this. Meme status well deserved (but at least it's not sole survivor)
-
If you need dead hard, decisive strike, iron will and/or unbreakable you're a bad survivor. That's how I feel about those perks.
-
Is it any different than the ######### on hook to let the last person try other than one less credited kill?
-
Weak but fun, boring but strong, weak and boring. If he hits strong and fun he'll have done it all.
-
You use the gamer tag of "DEAD HARD=VIRGIN" and now you're whining about it on the forum? Dude, you are a salty, toxic prick. I hope you get NOTHING but "bully with friends" groups EVERY time you play killer. You deserve it for your rotten attitude.
-
if you were broken and exhausted either until downed or a much longer time passed than 40 seconds i'd be fine with it.
-
well, it looks like Fred Fredburger was here.
-
Dead hard, circle of healing, decisive strike, boil over and survive with friends are all perfectly legit reason to slug out deaths.
-
I thought these things SPAWNED at EGC because of its description. I never found anything odd near totems.
-
SOME perks yes, ALL perks no. If every perk is disabled it will hurt killer variety more. With no perks to run you're going to see people use next to nothing but the strongest killer they've used with their most powerful add ons. Some killers are so weak that they practically NEED strong perks. I HIGHLY doubt you'll see a myers or Trapper without corrupt.
-
Rework bloodwarden. Maybe make switches regress to punish 99ing gates or start EGC immediately. The perk was designed around EGC not existing and that has painfully shined for about 3 years now.
-
yes it has many pallets. You need to remember that it severely lacks in vaults though. Can't window loop between pallet loops when there aren't window loops.
-
I remember about 2-3 years ago there was an argument for it debatably (key word) being better than classic ruin because it was a perk that let YOU increase the length of trial rather than hope that survivors don't cleanse it. I do believe it needs a buff. It's just a worse No Way Out now.
-
Dude, $%&! Censorship!
-
I think it should give distance OR I-frames, not both.
-
if ANY Freddy needs reworked, it's blood warden. It's been exactly the same since pre EGC...

Well he knows and likes to be prepared and to plan ahead so being prepared to deal with survivors doing the gens seems like a given so while the name doesn't perfectly fit it would make sense that he prepares for what the other side would do since he does plan a lot
Since he wants to be the one in power being stronger than survivors boons and resources would put him in a position of power so the second perk still makes sense since it could be considered that the entity giving him strength has changed a bit how he acts and plans
3rd one probably doesn't make perfect sense but I like it so I will give you it on that one
I wanted to use famous line and traits as a base for perks. Fleeting gasps is based on his lung cancer and his constant shortness of breath.

The perks are kinda weak for my boy heisenburg here are my changes / reworks if I think they were unsalvagable
Time to cook: Whenever a generator is complete regress all generators by 10/12/14%
The one who knocks: Whenever you snuff a boon destroy the totem and the 2 closest pallets (upright pallets can be destroyed by this effect), this effect has a 80/70/60 second cooldown
Fleeting gasps: Whenever a survivor escapes a chase they gain the oblivious status effect for 41/43/45 seconds
I wasn't making strong perks, I was making perks that make sense for this character
-
Freddy went from weak but fun to strong but boring to now weak and boring. If he gets a stint as strong and fun he'll have covered the entire spectrum.
-
Nurse, hardest killer to learn, takes longer to learn and can not M1 in a chase at all.
-
it was fine way, way back but now he's a relic of the past
-
Can't really go wrong with a mom in the medicine field.
-
I think the variety in this game might be up your butt and around the corner. lol
-
North America, Xbox, maybe once every couple months.

@bjorksnas said:
we could just get the other heisenburg in dbd
Perks
Time to cook: If you have 2 or more survivors hooked at the same time the entity's sacrifice will advance 5/7/10 percent faster for each hooked survivor
The one who knocks: When you perform a wall destruction, survivors in your terror radius scream and reveal their location. They suffer from the exposed status effect for 10/15/20 seconds
Fleeting gasps: After a survivor escapes a chase with you and stops running their aura is revealed to you for 5 seconds. This perk has a cooldown of 80/70/60 seconds.
What do you think of these as Walter White's perks?
