And what a beautiful perk it is lol
I agree, i wonder why i don't see that perk more often.

Since 2016 and you still got a problem with ruin?

Not according to STBFL
That's why STBFL is a perk and not a base mechanic

several people are typing intensifies.
Everything is going according to my plan :P

When you git gud you'll realize swf is already balanced :)
-
I was playing exclusively as trapper yesterday and 8 out 10 maps were Haddonfield. Like ######### 😂😂
(didn't dodge a single time btw)

-
"We need to shake survivor meta, ASAP." is an euphemism for "nerf what i don't like to face because it makes me lose every time"
-
Adrenaline is fine as it is, honestly.
-
Even better, a killer with an M2 pet that can be sent to track survivors or something.
-
The only decent LF is the one with beast marks/carburettor/grease, other than that LF is only good against bad survivors.
Basic LF against good survivors is just a bad M1 killer.

The real life
That game is full of overpriced DLCs

Although i personally would like it, it's part of the "gold sink" system that many games have.

I have to disagree, Ashley would be the best Survivor to play from Until Dawn.

Devour hope tier 1 along with a yellow mori :D (you need to be lucky with the totem placement though)
-
Here it goes 2 more tips:
1 - break safe pallets asap
2 - never respect pallets
-
Usually i check General discussions, killers, survivors, off topic, crying feedback and wishlist.

Oh, why? Because she looks tough with those arms crossed while giving you a bad look.

I mainly play SWF , randoms are terrible in like 9/10 games and make the game totally unenjoyable, for example yesterday I played a spirit on lerys and immediately a random sees we're at lerys throws down a pallet and DC , then the other randoms DC immediately when they see the spirit is the killer and I'm the only one left with five gens and this is at rank 1 not noob ranks, I would expect this in brown ranks, so I run the killer until I just don't feel like doing it anymore and I give myself up to her to move on then get a message calling me toxic for not giving myself up sooner...
That has happened to me, but it's quite rare in my experience.
A few days ago we spawned at the game map and immediatly 1 survivor DCed, followed by 1 more a few seconds later. Had to send a pm to that guy asking what was his ######### problem.

I used to always play solo, but the higher up the ladder I go, the more unenjoyable solo survivor becomes.
Playing with friends I know what they can or can not do. So I know what to expect. I know they will do generators while I am being chased, I know I will be saved of the hook, and I know that they will try and save me even if there is a risk to their life. (A lot of times teammates open the gate and run out immediately.)
Do you run kindred when playing solo?
Also, personally if i'm on the hook and there's a risk for the others to get killed by rescuing me (when all gens are done or doors are open) i rather kill myself than give more kills to the killer, so it's ok for me if they leave in that situation.
-
Sure mate, go destroy all pallets while we finish the gens :D
-
I used to main Hag, but played her so much and got bored of her eventually.
I started to main Trapper not long ago and i'm having a blast with him.
Also like to play as Pig, Wraith, Freddy and Doctor.
PS: Hag can do well without perks.

@Mister_Holdout said:
@My_Farewell I actually play a ton of survivor (rank 1 btw).
Yeah, you might be the exception, but many others aren't. But whatever :D

@Mister_Holdout said:
99% of the time I play solo.
I was hesitant about saying that this poll was aimed mainly to survivor mains (since most killer mains just play as survivor for the dailies or just not that much), but ended up including everyone.

Dude? What’s BM?! =D
Bad manners.

@BR1THD1R said:
I only ever play Solo (PS4) anyone I used to play with quit because “the game is too hard” but lately the queue times have been horrendous. Especially survivor.
Yeah i got almost insta lobbies as a killer, no more than 1 minute at least and about 5 or more as a survivor. Red ranks PS4 EU.
-
I enjoy a survivor bagging me at the pallet, makes the game competitive.
@BR1THD1R exactly! I think this kind of "BM" (i don't really think it's BM, that's why i use quote marks) is cool and spices up the match.
-
For obvious reasons which have been estated by other people already.
-
Doesn't bother me at all, i actually find it quite funny. Not to mention that most of them end up dead.
-
I rarely care about achievements.
The only time i do is when i see that i "accidentally" got most of them already and just need like 3 or 4 more.

really perk that he doesn't use anyway and is there a lot of other better ones? or is it sarcasm because I can sense it
SC is a perk that, when survivors run it and use it every time they are injured instead of focusing on gens, makes the match way slower. If they nerf SC even more maybe more survivors will realize about what to do.

Still better than facing iri head huntress or prayer beads. :P I need infectious fright on my LF.
I'm usually drunk when i play DbD so running a Huntress with iri heads would be harmless to survivors. 😂

It's a she, especifically a 50 year old divorced woman.

Cool, i got like 50 honing stones.
Survivors, beware >:)

For solo Bond and Kindred are a must. The other 2 are up to you.
My other 2 are open handed, to increase the range of both Bond and Kindred, and Small game because of totems, mainly Ruin and Noed.
I can work on a gen with ruin but some other teammates won't be able to, so i try to make it easier for them.
-
I hope they nerf self care even more :)
-
Both are fine.
When people complain about any of those perks it's because they just can't handle losing.
-
Yeah, there's always one...
I get it if they want to do the last second switch, but those who do nothing at all...
-
On Chrome i just press on the 3 dots on the top right corner and switch between desktop and mobile.
-
Hit pushes the survivor, thus receiving a boost, and killer needs to stop to clean that weapon of course.
-
As solo: bond
Swf: resilience
-
Leatherface with speed limiter > rest of the killers

Mainly elder scrolls online (just the pvp content) and rocket league.

First a little history:
Before the Hag came out Killers couldn't damage generators, and survivors had 1 minute of hook time with each hook phase triggering every 30 seconds. After the Nurse and Shape came out with the Hag on the horizon, it became clear to everyone that 60 seconds was not enough time for the remaining 3 survivors to punish a killer for camping. Camping literally became the "go to" winning strategy for the majority of killers (if you think its bad now, you should've seen how much worse it was back then). In order to discourage killers from camping, the devs increased the time survivors have on hooks by 100% or another 60 seconds, bringing the total to 120 seconds of hook time with each phase triggering every 60 seconds instead. This has been the norm for a long time because it did exactly what it was supposed to do, it discouraged killers from using "camping" as a winning strategy by giving survivors more than enough time to complete gens while sacrificing one of their teammates.
Now to point out what went wrong in your match:
You cleansed Ruin, got chased and downed, and I assume one gen was either completed or nearly completed within that time because you say there was 1 gen left by the time you died. That means that while you were being hooked and hanging on it for 120 seconds, all but 1 gen was completed by 3 survivors. Each gen takes 80 seconds for a single survivor to do, so by the time you were about 40 seconds from death, 3 gens could have popped leaving 1 left. It takes 3 survivors working together on a gen 33.33 seconds to complete it, even if we factor in 10 seconds of travel time for your fellow teammates to reach the final gen, they would have completed it right around the time you were sacrificed, and the Doctor wouldn't have been able to move fast enough to stop them. So why didn't they just complete the last gen? Obviously 1 or more of them either weren't doing the objective trying to figure out if they could save you, or all 3 of them split up to do each of the remaining 3 gens solo. No matter the circumstances, the only way your team was going to lose that match is if they were potatoes.
Observation of you post taking these facts into account:
You bought your team 2 minutes, removed the obstacle of Ruin for them, and in that time they reduced the gens down to 1 because 2 minutes is more than enough time for 3 survivors to take out 4 gens. If they didn't do that, its because they were potatoes, not because the games (already ridiculously lenient) amount of "lifetime" on the hook is too short.
Conclusion:
Your team's at fault, not the game's "Lifetime" mechanic, and whining about it while asking for the hook time to be raised is not only putting the blame in the wrong place, but also laughably juvenile of you.
Accept that despite the crappy situation, you did the right thing buying your team time while distracting the killer, the killer was a spiteful moron for camping, and your team just didn't take advantage of it. Don't come here like a salty, over-entitled brat and start mewling for disgustingly obvious "Survivors should always win" changes to the game.
I like your comment because @DocOctober thinks that there would be less camping if we went back to those 30 seconds 😂:

Or SWF could quit the game, that would be much better.
Thank you.
Yeah, comparing swf with this guy encouraging people to dodge. RIGHT ;)
