The only addons on survivors worth saving are those that get consumed upon using and can't be kept anyway, like a syringe, unless they literally don't use them.
Killers aren't in a comparable situation, because some of them would be able to retain some truly busted stuff and they always get use out of their addons in a trial.
Imagine Tombstone Piece Myers, killing 2 Survivors and then hooking a 3rd one, just to do that again and again and again.

A permanent bandaid would be a fix, you know.. because it's permanent and a base mechanic.

People gotta crutch on those Add-ons as long as they're there.

If a player is winning against 95% of all teams with nurse, that player is clearly better than 95% of nurses too.
Since top sweat squad always win against any killer which aren't top tier AND top skill, sweat nurse always winning against any survivors which aren't top squads only seems fair.
If you nerf the nurse because of "good nurse" which is like 0.1%, YOU are balancing only around the 0.1%, which, as you said, "is not exactly practical".
You aren't balancing for 0.1 % for nerfing Nurse. Nurse is a big problem for the majority of the player base, nerfing her balances for the 99.9 %, which are casual. 99.9 % who are just playing for fun have to deal with a potentially broken Killer, designed for comp.
There is no balance for top%.
Regarding Spirit, if you outplay her at a loop, she now has a 15 second cooldown where she is a 110 % M1 Killer. That's plenty of time to get to another loop before she gets her power again.
Same wiith Blight. If you predict his hug, slide, whatever techs and juke it, even better if he used up all his rushes, again.. you've got time to run to another loop. He is 4.6, but unlike Spirt he's got a fatigue, followed by a 4 to 10 second cooldown, which is again enough time to reach a loop and a time where those 2 Killers are especially vulnerable against pallets and windows.

Every killers are literally visible, so directional phasing is nothing.
She is so fast even the strong pallets will be unsafe.
If you consider spirit is balanced, so is nurse, there is as much as downside and mindgame as spirit, pallets and windows doesn't need to be resources because every one of walls will be resource against her, You can still chase nurse as they are unable to play perfectly.
If you consider nurse as fundamentally broken, so is spirit and blight, pallets or windows will not help survivors if those killers are perfect and never make a mistake, it doesn't matter what survivors do, they will get them, kill them, no counter, and yes, billy is broken too if you expect killer to make no mistake.
"fundamentally broken" is such a stupid argument when every one of powers are made to circumvent something survivors do, range, pallet/windows, movement speed, health state, and such.
Spirit and Blight work perfectly fine on loops. It is sure that they'll get you eventually, but so will any Killer. Some slower, some faster.. without breaking any defences Survivors have.
And again, I am not talking MDR Spirit, which basically has no counterplay, I am talking base Spirit, which clearly is balanced and you don't have to see her to be able to juke her.
It shows that you aren't good enough against a Killer weaker than Nurse, but somehow you are saying that Nurse is balanced. It doesn't make much sense.

The counter play is using Los blockers and being unpredictable with your movement.
Everyone seems to just want to give up when they go against a good nurse. I've beaten good nurses with infectious fright and star struck.
If you are having trouble going against nurse watch videos of high level survivors vsing good nurses. Even the best nurses in the game have to sometimes abandon a chase.
That works against a mediocre Nurse. Getting good with her will beat 95 % of all teams. She is a comp Killer within a casual game.
She might be balanced and beatable against top sweat squads but a truly (good) Nurse will beat any team which aren't top squads.
But balancing only around the 0.1 % isn't excactly practical.

I do, a power that allows killer to move extremely fast in game made around 4.6/4.0 speed ratio is fundamentally broken, more so if that power have no stun after using like spirit.
Unlike nurse or blight, there is LITERALLY nothing survivors can do to counter good spirit, if she know where survivors are they will get hit, no exception.
She literally has directional phasing. And strong pallets beat her.
She has stupid Add-ons, but I talk about Spirit, not her Add-ons. Current Spirit is balanced, has counterplay, can be mindgamed and even looped. Once she uses her power she is a 4.4 Killer.
Nurse is fundementally broken because she ignores all kind of ressources Survivors have. Pallets, Windows and any kind of play is unreliable against a good Nurse.
You can still loop Blight and Spirt as they are unable to ignore Survivor's ressources, that's why they are not fundementally broken and not because they move fast. With that logic, Billy must be broken than as well.

They just fixed her all bugs with last mid-chapter. I doubt anytime soon they will rework her. So suiciding against her is just pointless because she is in game and she is not going.
They fixed her bugs, yeah. But bug fixes are no balance changes.
With all the current Nurse spam, I wouldn't be surprised if they nerfed her.

Spirit and Blight is fundamentally broken if you compare it to anything else, just like nurse.
If you are good enough with her, it's normal to kill underskilled players with ease, if survivors and nurse has same skill level she will be just fine, every stats and record shows that is a fact.
I suppose people are just bad today or something, maybe because of grade reset? I don't know.
You don't seem to understand what "fundementally broken" means.
-
Because people don't want to try against Nurse.
Most of them slug, use the broken Add-ons (which aren't killswitched for some reason), spam slowdown Perks on purpose even though they know she doesn't need so many etc.
People assume every Nurse plays the same so they don't even try, and tbh.. Nurse clearly needs a rework. If you're good enough with her, the whole "skill vs. skill" argument flies out the window.
She needs to be made consistent to the others. Blight and Spirit both aren't fundementally broken but they're still amongst the best Killlers.
And because of her, we can't have strong Perks because they woulf be far to strong on Nurse.
Rework her and keep her current or even pre-nerf version as an offline vs. bot feature, against bots you can make her op as hell, no one cares there.
-
I hope it'll feel like true Haddonfield after the update. I'd wish they'd give Michael a visual update as well, to make him look like 1978 Michael.
-
It's good for "kickers".
I am more on the passive regression side, using No Way Out, Deadlock, Pain Res. and BBQ (for points).
But it's a great Perk for people who use active regression like Pop, Ruin, Call of Duty and Eruption or things like that.

I've had some experiences with that in the past....

That’s why I play plague a lot, y’all won’t be needing those perks this trial. 😁 except DH
If she didn't feel weird to play, I'd do it too. Also, I don't really like her.

CoH, DH and IW. The 3 steps of disaster.
Thank god Noed exists, so the disaster gets even bigger.

Yeah, every time you kick a gen they'll be highlighted in yellow. Even if you kick 200 gens, all of them are yellow and they regress at twice the regression speed and will explode if someone hits a good skill check.
Oh dear...

Yes. Object is Killswitched restart your game.
I'm at work currently. But that's some good news.
It was annoying. Yesterday I played 2 Killer matches until I stopped because in both matches I had people abusing the wall hacks.
-
Did they killswitch the Perks?
-
some old 2016 screenshots.

Tell that my colleague at work, who is the embodiment of negavity. And I regurarely work with that idiot.
-
I am positively neutral about RPD. Not excited when I see it, but optimistic as I kinda like the map.
The most exciting map for me is Midwich.

New players playing against experienced players.
Same on the different end. With my 5k hours I get a team which don't even have 1.5k hours ALL 4 of them combined.

@Chadku said:
That's fairly normal that there's something breaking after an update.
It's something you should expect when playing DbD.
Yeah, but I wanna know if people have the same problem. So I can be sure it's dbd and not my PC.
-
I've noticed my frames going crazy since the new update. I don't have the best PC, but at least before the update I had consistent FPS, now it's just freezing all over the place.
-
Weird. I never play with DS and somehow I never need it.

Blood Fury lasts longer than Phase Walking, as soon as your little invisibility trick ends, you're pretty much done for.
You need to get blood first.

Sure, if you survive a Demon Strike first that is.
If you can hit it, I can move pretty fast. Maybe I am already behind you?

No because I’m more excited to play Spirit instead.
Me too. I've got to many Survivors robbing me off my rank 1 today so I'll play MDR+Yakuyoke Spirit tomorrow all day 😈
With Deadlock, No Way Out, Pain Res. and Dead Man's.
Yes, I wanna be sweaty. And I will be, because tomorrow I'll reach rank 1 for my 1 Million points and I ain't letting me take that away.

Quitting against Billy is a sin. Same with Demo.

The ideal thing to do is to get an early kill with about 3 gens left. Managing 3 Survivors is easier than 4. Let's get into a scenario.
4 people: You hook 1, you chase someone, someone goes for the rescue and the 4th guy is doing gens. You still have someone doing gens.
Let's kill someone as early as possible.
3 people: One is on a hook, you chase the other guy and the 3rd guy needs to rescue. Now there is a shutdown on gen progress. Getting rid of 1 Survivor as early is possible is the best thing to do as Killer.
As Survivor you want to spread hooks. If you see someone is dead on hook (you see it by the lines besides their names), you ideally wanna tank a hook state (if you're not dead on hook yourself) as we already said, getting a kill early is immensely strong for the Killer.
Edit: Also, happy for you that you're having a good time. Keep the Spirit up and enjoy the game. Don't stress yourself to much if a match doesn't go well!!!

How do you see where you walk if you walk backwards?
Do you actually do this? I request a montage on youtube.
Maybe I was extreme with backwards, but sideways also works. And you can clearly see your pathing while looking sideways. It takes 45° - 50° of turning to trump Spine Chill.

I had to open wiki and check it many times xD
You're making a Tier list without knowing what the Add-ons even do?
-
There are a lot of Exposed Add-ons and I never see them.
There are Michael and Ghostface and I barely see them.
All Perks you mentioned except Noed are rare and Noed would be a non problem if it didn't have the speed boost, because that's what's carrying people the most. People really sleep on those extra 4 % speed.
So no, Exposed is not an issue.
-
Not to rarely, and I am glad. But I'd like it more if not every Spirit used MDR + DCB or Yakuyoke.
-
No, it's a decent and balanced Perk. As Killer you can counter it by moonwalking or walking sideways.
As Ghostface, lean stalk them during chases instead of ambushing them with your stealth. If you aren't to skilled at stalking during chases, approach them while looking sideways and lean stalk them when you have line of sight.
-
I would love to use:
- Surge (If it triggered on Special Attacks as well)
- I'm All Ears (If the cooldown was 20 seconds)
- Oppression (If the cooldown was around 30 seconds'ish)
- Dragon's Grip (If the cooldown was around 30-40 seconds'ish and only went on cooldown if someone was successfuly exposed)
- Trail of Torment (If the cooldown was either removed or 30 seconds max.)
- Any Mean's Necessary (If the cooldown was around 30 seconds)
- Saboteur (If the cooldown was around 30 seconds and only went on cooldown after a full sabotage)
That's what came to my mind. There are probably more but that is it for now.
-
Dead Hard (for distance), Iron Will, Noed, CoH.
All of them either braindead or broken by design.

Yes.
Definitely. Charge speed feels satisfying and feels like a must, even though it isn't a must.

That was my first thought seeing this Add-on.
Throwing Survivors even more off at any loop. Not my favourite though, I am really into Sport's Cap + Hair Ribbon atm, it feels to nice to not have 🤗
