I always wanted a PC for Christmas, but all of my family members died this year 😪
I'm so sorry friend, I simply cannot imagine. Just know you are not alone.

Sorry, could you please explain? Update what exactly?
The performance on last gen consoles for DBD is really bad, so "smooth experience" is sadly out the window, thanks Devs.
As for getting better at Blight, learn which things you can and cannot slam off of, this purely comes from experience. Ormond and Swamp in particular are AWFUL for Blight, also Rotten Fields.
You should max your sensitivity for more tight turns, and turning with the camera and your body should make you turn sharper. Everything else is practice.

Not gonna happen on last gen unless they update it, sorry friend :( it hurts
-
I rock Corrupt, No Way Out, Deadlock, BBQ.
-
Why should your offering counter an entire perk? What mindset even is this??
-
Midchapter is soon friend, that will be the answer to stay or leave
-
Killer is miserable rn, midchapter needs some Survivor nerfs
-
It's such a pain, and another aspect of the game that is ruined by SWF. Finish a Gen and IMMEDIETLY start charging the door, clearly timing and communicating. No Way Out makes you notice how often it is, and it genuinely sucks. It should at least regress to 95%
-
Yeah, until I go against seal team six with 16 meta perks, medkits, Boons, map offerings, possible Stretch Res, sus movement speed, doing gens so fast it is also kind of sus, and of course being in a SWF and perfectly timing everything they do and run every loop perfectly.
-
I like Brutal Strength but man it should be 30%
-
They exist as a time waster and occasionally 'fix' God loops
-
If it isn't fun for both sides, it is poorly designed
-
When all Gens are done, or when all the Gens you can guard are on the other side of the map and the other 3 Survivors wanna play 'Where's Waldo?'.

Öhm, no. Because no other Dev came close to DbD until now.
But i agree completely that they could need some help from people who kno how to polish stuff.
Unpopular opinion:
As i saw old Samination DbD parodies everybody seemed to complain about the exact same stuff as now.
Funny. Therefore i think DbD is kinda much more balanced than everybody admits. (whining aside)
DBD is 1000% carried by it's licensed partnerships.
-
I say this in sincere honesty
This game could be up to 5x more popular if it had different Dev's who actually gave this game the TLC it deserves. Not just cosmetics and chapters.
-
You don't play Killer. Anyone who plays Killer and goes against sweaty teams knows this is a crock.
-
Let Killer see all totem locations at the start of the trial, Killer can go within a certain range and click a button to ignite that totem with the Hex perk, order of Hex perks going from top and clockwise around

That's the core difference though. You consider it cheating.
I don't.
I consider cheating things like using programs to change the way the game is designed to be played, speed hacks, wall hacks, things that give instant gen completion or unlimited bloodpoints. Those are things I consider cheating and frown upon. Incidentally, if stretched res were something that required any of those 3rd party programs to do, I would frown on it myself.
However because it's something that I can do within the limitations of the game, it's not cheating, and just becomes a personal choice. Literally anyone and everyone can do it and it would take seconds of your time.
In short. I hate cheaters. I don't consider stretched res cheating. Others might, and that's okay if they believe it is. But that's just a little window into another perspective if you don't mind too terribly.
You're cheating, kid.

If Sprint Burst was better than Dead Hard, people would be using it over Dead Hard.
Sprint Burst requires a change in play style, THAT is why people do not run it as much. Dead Hard takes a button press to use.
-
Killer perks are NOTHING compared to Survivor perks.
Killer perks are dedicated to keeping 3 gens from popping after 1 or 2 chases/hooks, Survivor meta perks are consistently about second chances, doing gens faster via Prove Thyself, or busted ass Circle of Healing.
The only Killer perk that comes close to Survivor perks in strength is NOED, and even then it only activates at the end of the game forcing the Killer to play with 3 perks for 80% of the match.
-
Shouldn't be a thing
-
They don't care.
Simple as that. Buy more cosmetics.
-
Because the effect is really, really strong and is meant to keep you from being hooked again immediately?
-
Either take away the invincibility frames or drastically reduce the distance it gives, we could get rid of Dead Hard validation entirely if it didn't have iframes. If you Dead Hard late, too bad, should have used it sooner.
-
Yun-Jin checking out the booty I see
-
No they do not, Survivor meta perks need nerfs, healing stopping the Killer from picking up a Survivor should be removed, and Survivors shouldn't spawn on Gens.
Maaaybe after these happen we can start nerfing some of the stronger Killers, but probably not.

gonna hope that second part is hyperbole
It's not, and I happily stand by it. Getting blinded isn't fun, getting blinded at every pallet drop is not fun. There is a perk that fixes this and is enjoyable to use, so the fact that some people genuinely have an issue with a perk existing that makes Killer more enjoyable is just sad.
-
Hi, I am sorry you are feeling this way.
Mental health is an important thing and you should not ignore it, as easy as that may be. I highly recommend you talk with a family member, possibly your parents, about going to a doctor and getting a medical diagnosis for your mental health.
-
There is no "Lightborn debate", just people who understand it is a niche but fun perk, and losers who cry about how now they can't blind the Killer for 80% of the match.
I straight up don't trust nor respect anyone who has a legit issue with Lighborn.
-
They don't care, it's as simple as that. Anything that doesn't make money, they don't care about.

You believe that survivors playing like this are actively spending the match making sure the killer is miserable?
I would find that kind of a match fantastic as killer. Same goes for any other weird plays a swf might try. You might want every game to be the same but you don't speak for everyone.
Being blinded the entire game is not fun.
Get over it.
-
Fair matches between Survivor and Killer that come really close are very, very fun.
-
I would love for them to add Carnage!
-
Happened to me as well with a Claudette. Same map, on the fence.
-
It encourages the Killer to go after all 4 Survivors and spread out hooks for a reward that only applies at the end of the match.
It is perfectly balanced, and is frankly one of the best perks they have ever added to the game imo.
-
Only one type of person whines about Killers using Lightborn.
######### whine about the Killer using Lightborn, they want their free 'blind the Killer for 80% of the game' simulator.
If you're idea of having fun in DBD is just 4 manning so you can locker blind the Killer and actively spend the match making sure they are miserable, then I am simply overjoyed a single perk ruins your bully simulator. Get a life.
-
How stressful Killer is for no reason. Survivors can have 16 meta second chance game changing perks, boosted medkits, Circle of Healing, broken maps, and of course the dreaded 4 man SWF.
Even without SWF, 4 Survivors spawning on separate Gens means even a good quick down and hook may result in 2 or more gens being done.

Dead Hard is not a problem, just get close to them, make them use it and then catch up again. It only gives them extra if you take a swing, then you get the hit or miss animation, if you just get close enough to hit them, but don't people will use it for no reason, often into a wall.
That's not the issue nor what makes Dead Hard meta, Dead Hard is meta because it is free on demand distance that can extend chases 30+ seconds by simply Dead Harding to the nearest pallet/window.
It is the most used Survivor perk for a reason.
-
Survivors all spawning on separate Gens, no other objective, Gens taking a relatively short time to do, huge maps
Really you can pick and choose, all are valid
-
Survivor:
Dead Hard, Circle of Healing, Borrowed Time
Killer:
NOED, Devour Hope, Bamboozle
-
Don't worry, we'll get threads calling for nerfs soon enough.

I actually just watched the video for context and what are you even on about. There is literally no scenario in which the killer wasn't completely responsible for not getting a hit there. Fell for a window fake, somehow gives her a fast vault back into him while having a very slow reaction to it, all of which leads to a chain of events that result in a flashlight save. Despite him saying the survivors were trash out of frustration, the Meg actually did an extremely smart play with what she had. That wasn't a mistake, she intentionally fast vaulted back into him, which means she had to intentionally angle herself awkwardly to do it. Legion is awful and its unlikely anyone would 4k this but Dead Hard was not the problem there.
Literally only made it to the pallet because of Dead Hard, cope.

Where did she make a mistake?
Unless you mean Tru3 falling for the old window fake.
She could have easily had Lithe instead of DH and gotten even more distance from that vault she did. So I don’t see where the problem is when the perk is working as intended.
She literally was AFK and then vaulted back through the window for no reason, that play was awful lmao
Dead Hard saved her 1000%.

No, it's not. Even good killers will win most of the time against SWF teams.
This is just objectively wrong lol, a good SWF will beat most Killers who aren't Nurse.
-
He's an M1 Killer. He's bad.

@ScottJund said:
I never understand why people try to make grand statements off videos like this. He's playing arguably the worst killer in the game vs. a very solid 3 man. Everyone agrees Legion should be buffed and he would have done better with a stronger killer. What argument is even being made? We are all the same page that Legion blows.
The problem is them abusing mechanics such as simply hiding in lockers and being invincible because of their teammates with flashlights. This simply shouldn't be a thing, there is no way to counter it. No, literally just abandoning the Survivor in the locker is not a "counter", it is an unfortunate result of bad design.
-
The false hope that maybe the Devs will one day wake up and fix the shitshow of a game they have made.
Barely functions, bugs galore, broken SWF ruining the game with 16 second chance perks while SoloQ get facecamped by Killers who won't be punished for it. That, or slugged on the ground for 4 minutes while the Killer mocks them.
Numerous underpowered Killers, antiquated mechanics with Gens, horrible map design. This game is carried 100% by it's name alone, and if it wasn't for licensed chapters it would have died years ago.
You know it and I know it. It's a joke, and the only way to put up with it is to simply not think about it. I hope VHS is so good the Devs full on panic and hastily start kissing the feet of the players who actually care about the game.
-
That costs money, Devs love having more money, not less.
