Currently it’s glitched to always show but honestly they may just leave it like this which would be amazing

You obviously don't play her properly then, because I main her and her crouch ability is the most useful and important part of her ability. The traps just slow down gens, which is also very useful.
I feel most people who say the dash is useless just don’t understand how it works

The trick to using pig's dash is to not dash. I've never once been in a position where a dash is the best strategy, and unless the pig crouched up on me at a gen, which already guarantees a free hit, I've never been hit by the pig's dash. There is no point in using it. Pig's power is that she can crouch, so no terror radius, and the traps waste alot of time from survivors, but it's not meant to kill, and I'm genuinely surprised when someone dies from it. I have never had a problem with pig, as a stealth killer, she gets 1 free hit, then she is kind of an M1 killer, but it's not too bad if you know how to counter loop. With how short she is, she can be hard to see at some pallets, which gives an advantage.
You aren’t using pig right if you don’t dash the dash isn’t meant to just go straight through a loop though you need to either trick by baiting with your light or moon walk and catch the survivor off guard
-
It’s because of the ranking system bad players can easily pip then struggle against just average killers

yeah and there is a reason it doesnt anymore.
Would be really weird to nerf function out of a perk only to add that very function back in another.
Its also weird to add DS as an anti-tunneling perk, then give killers an Anti-anti-tunneling perk ;P
It’s not an anti anti tunneling perk because ds isn’t really anti tunneling perk anymore and it’s more like counter play the same way if a survivor squad has all items in a lobby you’d bring Franklins demise
-
@ZoneDymo said:
Mad Grit isnt a weak perk at all, its a counter to a gameplay mechanic that (for some reason) isnt all that prevalent anymore, namely survivors bodyblocking all the way too the hook.
Just does not happen anymore.
So you just explained why it’s weak and yeah it is because 95% of games it’s useless

The point is, you can´t balance a game for everyone. Some ppl with accept the decisions from the devs and some will not. What i mean is: They balance this game for the newplayers or maybe for ranks like 20-10 but theres a big diffrence on higher ranks.
The problem is that these balances don’t make sense ever because making changes for low ranks never matteres because 1 of 2 scenarios always happen either the change at low rank doesn’t matter because the survivor is still too new to understand and there will be no effect or the survivor will learn and get better and is left to take advantage of balance for low level play. Also the devs seem to be confused because they say they won’t change gen times because it’s boring to just hold m1 but by changing ruin they removed the only hard skill checks which is the only thing making gens not just m1 simulators and it also reduced the amount of chases in a game making it an m1 simulator

I doubt that killrates changed much. Killers adapted to the Ruin nerfs, by applying "dirty" tactics now. Tunnelling, camping, slugging, NOED, strong addons are getting more common, and survivors are crying about it already.
We will have to see how the developers will react to the new frustrations survivors are facing now, and if it leads to any changes.
they have already planned for that the new survivor has an anti slugging perk
-
It really needs to be hook rates and not kill rates

9 to 12 most of the time
That's why it's so frustrating. I worked hard to get just to this rank. I expected survivors would start playing more intelligently as my rank got better. That hasn't happened.
Killers who complain have to play red ranks all day that’s when it gets annoying

Longer range, with dragging speed being made proprtional to the distance of the shot. So hitting someone fairly close has the default reel speed, whereas a long distance shot would send them flying towards you.
I don’t understand the range cap like basically all his downsides are solved by playing huntress

I think he might benefit from a shot dash ability too

If the average game for killer should be where there are two kills and two escapes why is it that I cannot (or barely) even pip if I do get a 2k.
This is directed to highrank play btw not rank 10
you usually get brutal at a 2k which is meant to say you are at the level you should be if you get more than 2 you get a pip or 2 which means you need to move up to a higher rank and challenge of player

Omg that is actually so hype thx

Slugging for 4k is cammon thing. I just had a game where the killer eathier slug me or the other survivor and the game took too long just he can get 4k
Fun is the most importent thing in any game. I don't want to waste 8-10 min just cuz killer wants the 4k.
why do people only complain about slugging for the 4K survivors always bring gen speed perks and items when they are well fast enough already, and it’s nonsense to criticize a killer for doing what they have to do to rank up (especially at red ranks).

I beat a hag to the hatch stood on it and got no prompt to exit. Seconds later she ran up with me standing on the open hole and shut the hatch and killed me. She said this new feature, you can't leave if the killer is close is part of the update. I think this kind of stinks. It is hard enough to find the hatch, but not to be able to use it if the killer is close is junk. It should be if you beat the killer to the hatch you've earned the escape. Just my opinion.

How's about no. NOED is highly necessary now to teach survivors a lesson for bitching. And crying about unnecessary nerfs they made their bed and now they are gonna lie in it. Most of the killer community will run NOED until all nerfs are reverted.

I'm a rank 1 killer main (yes, rank reset just happened, and I'm rank 1 already). I'm aware; but it's healthier than pleasuring myself with sandpaper.
I’d say if running devour is like sandpaper then being rank 1 already is like full on sounding

Plus, your title was very clearly bait.

Slugging is a tactic, but like most it can be used in scummy ways, it works well, so they will use it time and time again, there's already a penalty for letting a survivor bleed out so maybe if they were to make it harsher that would help, but if a player (because they are not a killer if they are playing like that) is just slugging to be a d bag then the points don't matter to them so its just something you will have to deal with, unless a fundamental change is made to certain systems
Huh it’s almost like slugging cuts survivor productivity by 25% and is natural slow down stop acting like it’s a bad thing it’s just the next evolution in killer play style ther is nothing to nerf or punish unless you want to start punishing survivors for completing gens too fast

this bullshit exists from the patch in which devs removed pallet vacuum. And so far devs did nothing useful to fix this.
But also with dedicated servers the total ammount of extremely unfair hits not only through windows and pallets, but at all increased drastically.
It really feels like over time this game technically becomes worse and worse. So unstable.
There literally was just a stream explaining this comes from latency and chill you miss hits that should hit as killers just as much

No worries! So what do you think of it now? Can you imagine the dread and panic those survivors will experience when they see that 5 become a 0? I think this would add a whole new layer of excitement for both sides in the match!
Definitely sounds stressful also would be fun with surveillance because you’d instantly see all the gens
-
@yobuddd said:

I appreciate the points you made, so I’d like to address your concerns by describing a scenario where these would be extremely useful.
Equilibrium: all 5 gen pop and survivors are headed for gates. Someone thinks they found a NOED hex and cleanse it. Boom! All 7 gens blow, gates lose power, and survivors have 0 completed gens now. Yes, they all have a high level of completion, but they’re also all regressing. Survivors have to go find them all again just to slow the bleed. I see this as being VERY powerful!
Enshrine: The recharge effect won’t actually see much use except for very coordinated teams. For max effect, all 4 survivors have to finish one of the final gens together (after their items have been mostly used up). This alone would be very difficult to arrange. Most of the time it’ll be 1 or 2 survivors benefitting from a little bit of recharge in the early match. This is because they want to pick an ideal generator that’s
- far from exit gates — so the killer doesn’t save it to cut power to the switch when chasing you out
- and out-of-the-way in general —so that the killer doesn’t accidentally discover that it’s kickable just by walking by.
If you wait too long because you want to max your recharge, you might have to apply the effect to a riskier gen.
When I posted I didn’t think you meant that gates could be de powered
-
@yobuddd said:
I think removing a survivor’s certainty-of-progress could go a long way toward reintroducing tension to the game. Imagine running toward an 99% exit switch just to see it power down right before your eyes!
This new aspect could certainly evolve the game play some, both in terms of strategizing and in increasing the chances of clutch moments occurring, for both sides!
So what do you think? Are these too strong, too weak, or just right? I know I’d get some use out of these perks if they were currently in-game!
The hex seems pointless because survivors don’t cleanse anymore anyways also it would be pointless in the end game the average would be like 95% also I’m not so crazy about recharging items because hook saboing is annoying enough I think the third perk is fun and could add an interesting play style to end game builds but it would be unusable on pig

Sorry not all people can afford a decent pc
I didn’t say decent also it’s probably because not enough survivors are searching at the same time as you because this was pretty common in the early days on pc
-
@BrinierSword4 said:
Everyone can agree that No Mither is one of the worst perks out there. Although this idea won’t make the perk a great perk, I believe it would be somewhat decent. Basically the only thing you change is the grunt reduction, instead of it being 0/25/50% make it 25/50/100%.
That way it will be a mix of:
- Tier III Iron Will
- A Modified Version of Unbreakable (you can get up an unlimited amount of times by yourself but you don’t have the recovery speed increase)
- Upgraded Lucky Break that last for the rest of the trial
I fell like this change will make the perk somewhat good.
What do you guys think? I’m open to discussions
I think it really just needs to not put the broken status affect until the first time it’s used

Get a pc

Why it seems pointless and a pain to balance

To be fair from all the DC's I've seen from survivors in the past I'm under the belief that being placed into the dying state puts a tremendous strain on your broadband. Have devs ever looked into this. Maybe a fix for how hard it is on connections when survivors ger downed?
I don’t know often I’ve seen a direct connection between how much a survivor teabags and strain whenever a survivor is downed

I have the impression that developers have forgotten that their game is made for solo/duo/trio players too.
Killers now mostly camping or tunneling and even if you trying to help other player you are punished - but punished not by a killer, what is understandable, you are punished with 'no pip' after game...
Always was that killers have to kill that many survivors how they can, and survivors role was staying as group and help each other.
Now games mostly looks like - killer is camping or tunneling one of survs, others are gen-rushing and don't care about this one, cause this is only one way, to make points, before others make all of gens and you can't make points to get a pip.
When and how that happen? How survivor who are not full 4 SWF should play to make points? What about altruistic players? Are they gone?
What are the rules now? How that game changed? How should I play to get a pip as a survivor who mostly playing solo/duo?
Must only be low ranks survivors seem more altruistic than ever also it seems like you’re low because camping is not a problem at high ranks

Oni and Demo feel lumbering to me, I know they have the same 115% speed but they don’t feel like they move like Freddy or GF for example... anyone else or is it just me because they’re bigger?
I think it’s the animation on how the arms move apex legends had the same issue where every character moved the same speed but because the arms moved at different rates for the animation people complained that they moved slower

I was in a Pig match with 2 friends and 1 rando, and needless to say: the Pig was a little tunnely. I get downed and they put the mask on me. Here's the issue though:
A) As soon as the timer started, I noticed that I had a very limited amount of time to remove it (like 45 seconds)
B) All the traps were a significant distance from each other
C) I could not do one of the closer traps as the rando had just hopped on it (and I didn't want to waste time by waiting)
D) The RNG was not on my side as I had 1 trap left (with 10 seconds to spare)
As stated before, the killer was a little tunnely and ended up finding me again and hooked me.. again. I got taken off the hook, but by the time I got to the last trap, the timer ran out.
Mind you, all of this happened within 3 or so minutes.
Maybe I just had rotten luck or maybe I'm onto something, but how is it remotely fair that there's an add-on to already reduce the amount of time to take off the reverse-bear trap when I have to focus on getting away from the killer + among the other things to do within a trial? I could not do ANYTHING in that game because of how fast that timer was going.. I've been against the pig a number of times and I've never had this issue before.
(For any pig mains, go easy on me. Maybe there's just something I'm missing. I'm not trying to sound like a baby.)
It takes it from 3 minutes to 2 and a half it’s not that drastic also just make sure it actually recognizes you’re getting chased because that pauses the timer. Overall it just seems like you got bad rng but honestly the amount of times I see someone get it off first try is more than annoying
