i mean... IF the new Killer actually is "The Alchemist" from the tomes, we probaply wont be getting a realm for him, since he comes from the void as a long lost survivor.
i would love to see some of the unfinished swamp maps to be implemented tbh.
the "Grim Gully" looks really cool with both the Village and the Bloodtree on it, i'd love to see that one.
"Dead Lake" also seems pretty cool, tho i dont think it has any like big standalone buildings (correct me if i'm wrong).
or maybe reduce the Grim Gully map's size a bit and therefore add the Bloodtree aspect of that map to the Dead Lake? would also make for two really nice maps imo.
-
huh...
the only time i as a killer wait on the hatch would be as invisible wraith... otherwise i just close it and patrol the gates - sitting there doing nothing is boring as hell.
plus, if you miss the survivor and they get too close they just escape right under your nose, which would just be embarassing at that point.

Do you want the apocalypse on the Forums?
yes.
>:D
-
honestly, i would not mind it if they buff Spirit to be on Nurses level...
-
may i as which rank you are playing on?
i (rank 4 rn) havent had such salty survivors in quite some time now tbh, so i am curious if thats related to rank or if i am just lucky...
-
well, prestiging itself does allow you to find better stuff in the bloodweb, thats true, however its usually not really making a big difference.
if you have characters with all perks, i would not prestige them. weather you want to prestige a character or not is something you would want to think about the second you reach lvl 50 with that character, otherwise you will lose progress like you would now.
in the end, prestiging is usually just so you can say "i got everything". its a personal achievement, though nothing necessary.
i do it though (working on my 11th maxed out killer)
-
i like how i am somewhere between "a small child" and "a fully grown adult" xD
-
G.
i am usually what is considered the "Gen Jockey".
-
run the "Dont Injure Me!" build.
Iron Will + This Is Not Happening + Resillience + Dead Hard.
there you go, you literally want to be injured all game.
-
DCers.
"oh no he mindgamed me!" DC
"oh no i went down first!" DC
"oh no its killer XYZ!" DC
its so super annoying...
and worst of all, as a survivor it makes escaping tremendously harder, while as killer it completely guts your emblems, therefore not allowing you to play nicely if you want a pip.
-
she should be 4.4 m/s with that add on.
otherwise there is really no point in bringing it...
-
in order to properly be able to nerf SWF, they'd need to buff solo survivors so much, that they are on the same communication level as SWFs.
for adrenaline, i think the 5 second sprint is too much tbh. imo the perk would be much better if it was eigther a heal or, if fully healed, the 5 second sprint.
-
when i down a survivor as Ghostface who royaly messed up, i usually crouch down in front of them and stare at them for some seconds.
if they do nothing, i pick them up and hook them.
if they shake left and right (signalizing "no!"), i nod at them. if we get to continue this for a couple of times and they still say "no!", i leave them alone, as they obviously dont want my company :(
(we usually end up messing around afterwards xD)

Ghostface:

those are just my maxed out killers. the others usually have a perk build that somehow does something made from the few perks i do have unlocked. for Ghostface, he himself also isnt maxed out yet, though i do like the build. might switch out Dying Light for Save The Best For Last at some point tho.
Survivor Builds:
1) "Medic"
- Botany Knowledge
- We'll Make It
- Empathy
- Self Care
2) "Dont Injure Me!"
- Dead Hard
- Resilience
- This Is Not Happening
- Iron Will
3) "Chest King"
- Plunderers Instinct
- Ace In The Hole
- Lithe
- Adrenaline
for these Survivor Builds we need to keep in mind that i do not have all the Survivor teachables unlocked, therefore they are only build with the perks i have.
-
i want all of that.
-
i dont use ruin in general.
-
i never notice the 2 token bonus when i use the perk tbh.
they should eigther make it permanent or change it into something different, tbh.
other than that, i think the perk works perfectly fine ^^

Now you got me hyped for something that could possibly turn out completely differently haha.

i believe he is going to have 2 different modes:
a mode with injected flower nectar and one without. i also think the flowers from last years halloween event will return with him as a side objective for both him and the survivors. here is how i think it works: the flowers spawn all around the map. both killer and survivors can interact with them and harvest their nectar.if the survivors succesfully harvested all the nectar from a plant, it dries up and dies, making it ununsable for the killer (for a set time, then the flower respawns). if the killer however interacts with one of these flowers, he fills up his syringe and is now able to enter his injected mode whenever he wants. this mode will probaply consist of him getting some sick buffs (similar to a plague collecting her corrupt purge) in movementspeed and "strength" - whatever that means. if he runs out however, he will eigther drop into a 115% mms mode (like any other normal killer), or actually in a weakened state with only 110% mms.
but what does "strength" reffer to? this could mean many things:
he might be able to oneshot survivors in this mode, he might be able to destroy pallets with a mere swing of his M1, he might also be able to flatten windows, making them a normal path to walk through with an animation or he might be able to just immediately grab survivors who come too close to him.
of course this mode would be timelimited, so he needs to refill on flowers all the time.
this would also lead to survivors finally getting a secondary objective, as they would now have to decide weather they do gens or harvest nectar to deny the killer his powerful form.
ofc thats all just speculation, however thats what i think could happen.
we'll find out soon enough ^^
-
we have dead cows...

F
and with that, welcome to the Polls section! :D
-
i experienced this aswell.
in the future, try posting such things in the "Bug Reports" subforum ^^
-
if you play the same horrorgame for lets say 2k hours, you will, at some point, no longer be scared by the monsters.
this is something that applies to pretty much all horror games, DbD is just one that will probaply never have an actual ending to it, therefore you will spend more and more time with it.
-
well, level 1 was the easy level.
level 2 - 4 is where the real fun / grind begins xD

multiple things on that list, only able to pick one for the poll.
well... why not click on the "multiple things on this list" option then? xD
also, please tell me which things. i would like to know what you dislike about this killer.
thank you!
-
sigh
Legion:
the Legion changes were not made with the intention to nerf the killer. instead, the devs did what they could to get rid of all the annoying aspects the killer once had and therefore make them somewhat fun to go up against. every single change that went into them without this intention was a direct buff.
i do agree though, that i heavily dislike what they did to Deep Wound in general.
Nurse:
still the strongest killer in the game. its a 3 second delay before you can doubleblink again, this is not killing her. it only punishes you for not being able to hit a survivor after 2 blinks and allows for some sort of possible counterplay if that is the case. good nurse players will be literally unaffected by this change.
Spirit:
what spirit nerf are you talking about? the last thing i heard from the devs is that they do not have the intention to look into her at the moment and that they are currently looking into doc - though nothing is confirmed yet on what they want to change.
Pig:
still very much playable. the traps are still very effective during the trial, yet they had to do something about the EGC. if a pig trapped you during EGC with the old traps, that would literally mean game over for you and would make her way too strong, especially combined with endgame perks like NOED.
she also just received two very nice buffs regarding her crouch mode and her ambush attack. in case you missed them: while in crouch mode you now have the undetectable status effect, which makes you immune to any sort of aura reading and the ambush no longer counts as a normal hit, allowing you to keep your STBFL stacks.
and on top of that, there have also been some survivor nerfs at the same time, like the EGC itself or the removal of insta heals.
-
@EnviouSLAY said:
the spirit is not fun to play against period...thats why everyone DCs.
well, i get that thats how many feel about her, though the sole purpose of this post is to figure out why you think so...
what makes her "unfun" to go up against?
-
it does not "cancel" the perks effects.
basically, every survivor breathes at 100% sound volume. Iron Will will reduce that number by 100%, so its 0%, alias you make no breathing sounds while injured. Stridor however adds 50% on top of that, so your grunts of pain are now displayed at a sound volume of 50%.
both perks take effect, so while normal survivors grunt at 150%, you only do at 50%, since iron will does remove 100% from that number.
it is a counter to the perk, though it does not "cancel" its effects.
-
there are map reworks in the schedule.
also, i believe they said that they were not palanning any changes for Spirit at the moment in their stream not long ago. they are currently looking into Doctor, however we have nothing confirmed to what exactly they are looking at yet.
-
luckily the devs said there would be no plans on changing the way Spirit works right now :D
-
they have specifically said that there is no guarantee that Doc will be next, however they do want to change him at some point and are already working on possible ideas.
this does not mean Doc will be next, this also does not mean no other killer would get attention, however it does mean that there will be Doc changes at some point in time.
for my part, as someone who really just loves Doc, this sounds very cool and i really hope Herman gets some nice buffs / changes that make him a lot of fun to play!
-
nice!
ive never seen anyone pull that off in my survivor games...
honestly, as a survivor, i wouldnt even be mad xD
thats awesome...!
-
yeah... no.
the simple fact that many still disagree on what camping actually is alone should be reason enough to why this should never be a thing.
besides that, camping is a legitimate strategy. the "punishment" you were talking about states that this strategy will get very few emblem points and blood points, however you wont lose anything you had before, as you suggest one should. the grind in this game is huge enough, taking away stuff from the players would be very counteractive towards the devs efforts of reducing the grind aswell and in the end would only encourage players to stop playing the game entirely. as someone who is close of getting 11 maxed out killers, i know how long it takes for one to get everything on a character and all that time, these hundrets of trials should be removable just by me camping someone??
if the killer is camping, ffs do the gens and leave.
there really is no need for harsher punishments for campers!
-
doesnt Plunderers reveal the items aura inside the chest though?
i've seen item auras inside chests, might be because someone switched their item with the chest item though...

I suppose that’s true, I like the way you think lmao.
(:
-
this may be due to the fact that they just released the tome, a huge new aspect of the game both lore wise and programming wise and therefore didnt have the time to create an super extra large event like last time.
see the tomes and rift as a part of this event and you just got the biggest event ever.
-
it gives those events a unique feeling.
i love to see new gameplay elements!
-
not a survivor main, but i like switching up my builds, so chances are at some point it will be equipped.
-
i believe thats because there were issues with how they were displayed previously, if the one in front had a long name.
basically, the name of one survivor would go over the name and ping indicator of another, which was really annoying and just looked like a mess, so they moved them further apart.
at least that'd be my guess to why they did this...
-
it really depends which rank you are in tbh.
in low ranks, this perk single handedly defends all your generators, however in high ranks this perk is basically useless.
i dont think we can just buff it to make it viable in high ranks, as low ranks would greatly suffer from this, however adding a secondary effect doesnt really seem to fit the perk itself...
honestly, i dont know how we could properly change the perk to be both effective in high ranks and not break low ranks...
-
if they are good, yes.
-
im close to completing it tbh.
pretty sure i'll have it done by tomorrow, or if i dont play at least throughout the weekend.
got like 3 survivor challenges, 3 killer challenges and 1 overall challenge left to do (sthg similar to that)
-
it doesnt have to be cringy emotes like some sort of TF2 Conga line or Fortnite solo dance, however i believe that some actually scary emotes, or just some that fit the personality of the character using them, could fit into the game pretty nicely.
like a Legion going into a tantrum, swinging all around him for a few seconds?
or a Trapper kneeling down and inspecting the floor he is about to trap?
maybe Claudette could pick a flower that is growing close to her and put it in her pocket?
and why not have David start boxing the air?
just some ideas, however i belive such emotes would make the trials feel a lot more unique and may lead to some funny moments.
-
unless the killer is playing nurse, that is correct.
its always been like that tho
-
@Boosted_Dwight i see you are a man of culture aswell!
unlike those *clears throat* peasants not voting for Mister Macmillan, who should have been the obvious choice here! I am both surprised and shocked he is not the most voted for, as he is a very succesfull business man, who runs one of the largest mine companies in the entire world after all...
*proceeds to sip on a cup of tea*
You, Sir, have a very excellent taste when it comes to such choices!
on a serious note, Trapper is just the most fun to play as imo. his very unique playstyle feels very rewarding if you get it done right, so you always feel great when you see someone running right into a trap.
-
i love doublestandarts ^^
-
how dare you defend a slight nerf to a killer who is literally the most broken killer in the game right now and needed adjustments? °^°
stoopid survivoa main!
/s
-
cause people complained about them, since no one did gens and all just milked these plants and then died shortly after, so it was basically impossible to get a normal game going.
-
one of the rare cases where i occasionally facecamp someone :)
dont be a snitch, guys. its not worth it.
