Tbh, the new cinematic feels out of place. I like the old one better.

They feel better cause the "buff" was just a reverted nerf. What you are feeling is how fast Legion should have been. All of the nerfs and the BS we already had to deal with are in no way made up for by the speed increase.
Well, right now Legion feels a lot better than before.
But like I said, I still want to see a few more buffs in the future. Two ideas I had involved granting Legion a speed boost when he hits the first survivor (this will make it much easier to chain hits) and allowing Legion to recover his power gauge very quickly if he doesn't hit anyone while in feral frenzy (which would let Legion use feral frenzy for map pressure).
-
Haven't really noticed it if I'm honest. Although, occasionally the killer will land a bogus hit on me.
-
I just played Legion for the first time in a few days and he felt really good to me. The speed boosts he received actually helped out.
I never relied on slow down perks (other than Ruin) so the other stuff didn't bother me.
There are a couple more changes I want to see, but overall I feel that Legion is a bit better now.
-
Not every Nurse player relied on broken add-ons. There were plenty of players who played her old school, which imo is not an overpowered version of Nurse.

I can give you some advice since I was in your shoes at one point.
Go ahead and start playing on PC. If you have 2500 hours on console then that tells me you really love DbD. So, I would go ahead and start leveling up your characters.
You'll enjoy playing on PC, so I don't see any reason to wait. Hopefully, if cross play progress becomes a reality all the blood points you have accumulated on your xbox account will transfer to your steam account. That would be the ideal scenario.
P.S. Make sure to tag Peanits. He might have some more info.

Which one?
Mine or @NoOneEscapesNancy ?
Nancy's. I haven't listened to yours.

I listened to a few seconds of the song and hated it immediately.
If you want to listen to some good music, check out Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours by Stevie Wonder. For Once In My Life is also a good song by Stevie Wonder.
-
Gen rushing has always been a thing. So has kill rushing.
-
The hardest thing about Spirit is building up your tracking skills. You might hear survivors while phasing but can't pinpoint their exact location. That will take practice.
And of course, you'll need to work on your prediction skills. You'll catch survivors much quicker if you predict correctly where they'll try to run. Again, practice is key here.
-
It would be nice if the devs gave us a special reward for completing all the challenges.
Achievements though? Eh, not so sure.
-
You can tell a lot of people here don't play survivor because camping and tunneling is rampant at all ranks.
The best advice I can give you is to become really good at looping. If you can get the killer's attention and run them around a while, you will put your team in a much better spot.
Other than that, use DS and BT unapologetically. If killers want to camp/tunnel at least make them pay for it. Unbreakable is also very good.
-
I will probably go with Ruin, BBQ, Infectious Fright, and Deerstalker.
-
You can still send people messages. If you are using the phone app it's super easy.
-
Experience. The only way you'll get that is by practicing.
-
It goes both ways. I don't like it either when killers dc because they are getting destroyed by survivors.
-
You won't catch me sleeping on Jane. 🤢🤮
-
Somewhat.
I'm actually pretty competitive when I play survivor too. For me, I prefer getting all the gens done with my team.
That being said, survivor is definitely more easy going.
Perhaps that is why killers tend to be a bit more sweaty than survivors. Like you said, survivors are more accustomed with "losing" so to speak. Whereas killers feel like they need to get a certain number of kills to win.
-
I get a bit bored playing against the same killers over and over again as survivor. Other than that, the game is still pretty fun.
-
I recommend Ruin, BBQ, Enduring, and Spirit Fury. Being able to force instant pallet breaks is more beneficial imo.
-
And yet some people still want cross play lol.
-
I have never gotten a message about any of Wraith's add-ons. Most players know Wraith has unique add-ons.
That said, I understand why survivors don't like Wraith as it pertains to camping. From my experience, Wraiths tend to camp quite heavily, so I understand why there would be some frustration there.
-
I think a lot of people have been asking for a 2 killer mode. The devs haven't ruled it out as far as I know, but they haven't announced any major plans yet for it either.
-
Oni will be better because once he gets his power up, survivor bodies are going to start hitting the floor.
-
Well, if you're not actually using them then I suppose there's no harm in that.
-
The devs need to rework the maps so lower tier killers can compete.
Also, SWF needs some type of penalty to off-set the coordination advantage they get.
And of course, the devs can nerf any killer setups that are too powerful.
-
Survivors are just going to suicide on hooks now lol. Although, not much killers can do. They'll have to accept defeat.

You don't need to read them all. And I did read and consider lots of them.
And it's like I said. Just about all anyone was talking about was the new killer nerf of the week. I was over it.
Killers ARE losing power in this game and the new kill stats don't prove anything.s
So you read a few posts and were somehow able to determine a metric based off that?
Alrighty then lol.

Justified nerfs are fine, but at the time I originally posted this, 75% of the discussions were just nerf-callings. And THAT was what I was trying to fight against.
I'm not saying never nerf a character or perk ever again, I'm just saying maybe stop witch-hunting whatever's the strongest in the game this week.
So you actually took the time to read all the nerf posts and were able to establish whether the complaints had any merit?
Okay.
-
I really hate to be this guy, but I'm not excited about the two fan skins whatsoever. I saw entries that were WAY better than the two actually chosen.
I feel like the devs picked skins that were relatively simplistic to make the creation process easier. But that's just my opinion.
-
Tru tends to exaggerate how good killers are. GF is good but not top tier.
-
For me, it depends on if the nerf is justified or not. People have a right to call for nerfs if there is a legitimate basis for their decision.

You know that camping is a valid strategy and the killer is allowed to do this how ever often he/she likes to do it... You actually are entitled enough to say survivors MUST HAVE at least one perk to counter camping?... How many tools should survivors have? Maybe the killer then should also have a tool to stop survivors farming each other?? Survivors already can do gens to punish killer when camping... you even thought of that?
Again, like I tell the other people, play solo survivor for an extended period of time lol.
You will find out very quickly how much survivors get camped and tunneled, especially solo survivors who usually aren't as skilled.
It's very frustrating and boring to play against.
BT makes sense because it prevents the killer from coming back and snagging a quick down.

Well whenever I get another PC I may do just that. I only play games with a controller on the PC cause I feel it takes more skill to aim than a mouse does.
You will notice the difference when playing against M&K players.
For the record, I have 1000 hours on console. I know what I'm talking about.
-
I don't really see this as a huge problem to be honest.

This isn't an FPS. Even if it was it would still be fair. Playing with a mouse & keyboard doesn't automatically make you better or good.
Try playing Nurse or Huntress with a controller. The PC survivors will have a good laugh.
-
You're not alone.
The lore in this game is boring as hell.
-
You would probably want at least one Doc on your team to passively slow down the game.
Then combine a top tier killer to actually do a majority of the chasing.
-
PC players should be kept separate from console players. Unless the devs allow for M&K support.
The M&K players will absolutely shred the controller players.
-
Honestly, the lore in this game is pretty trash so I don't pay attention to that stuff anyway.

You mitigate campers by doing gens. Thats literally it. If you want to discourage campers from camping then do gens and get 3 ppl out. Or 2 ppl can go for save then the save is as good as guaranteed if the rescuers have half a brain.
Play solo survivor if you think it's that easy.
I play at rank 1 and most killers I play against will attempt to snowball off rescues. It can be very boring and frustrating to play against.
BT should be distance based so stealth killers can't sneak up and get an easy down.

I think they're pretty damn impactful. Like I'm not under any illusion he's suddenly gonna SHOOT up the tier list or anything, but permanent +5% ms in Frenzy and like half a second shaved off of pallet vaults I think goes a long way to helping his Frenzy be way more smooth and efficient at spreading the love.
However ya he still needs some work, stuff like losing half your power from hitting someone seems like an odd restriction at this point, and why they are reducing Mend time I have no idea.
I never minded the downside of getting stunned out of your power whilst missing too much, apart from when auto aim decides 'nah ######### you'.
I think if the devs granted Legion a speed boost after hitting the first survivor with feral frenzy, shortened his power gauge cool down, and removed the penalty for missing hits he would be in a pretty good spot.
They could also implement a feature where his power gauge recharges super fast if he doesn't hit anyone. This would give Legion really nice map pressure.

Yep, Julie is officially the new queen of DbD.

Hyped for Legion speed/vault buffs, hyped for Oni, and hyped for abusing killers with Breakout.
I made it to rank 1 this season with Legion, but I'm not so sure how impactful those changes will be.
One issue with Legion that irks me is not being able to hit multiple survivors with feral frenzy. Sometimes they are just out of reach.
Not to mention you still lose your power if you miss a stab lol.
Legion needs a number of additional changes imo.
-
Something tells me Oni will get nerfed.
But right now I am most excited about the release of the exclusive cosmetics. I went ahead and leveled up my Meg to prestige 3.
-
I have so many Julie screenshots it's hard to choose just one.

Just wanted to come back and say, I can personally confirm that this works. I got the challenge tonight by shining a torch in the killer's face while they were picking someone up. I got the blind, though not a save, because I started it too early in the animation, but at the end of the trial my challenge was still completed.
I am so relieved. I was under the assumption you had to get a flashlight save.
Thanks for the conformation!
-
Something else I want to say to the people complaining about Borrowed Time.
Think of it from a solo survivor's perspective. We are constantly being camped and tunneled by killers. It sucks when you try to rescue a survivor safely, but all of a sudden Mr. Ghost Face pops around the corner and downs the guy who just got rescued.
Point is killers are very big on trying to snowball off rescues. Survivors need something to mitigate this.
