Because we can't upset the casuals.
-
I can't really think of any. My matches are usually pretty dull.
-
You'll understand one day when you play against good survivors.
-
I've done all the challenges :)
-
The devs love ignoring certain characters when it comes to cosmetics. Poor demo.
-
Mediocre imo.
-
Hag is the one killer who I wouldn't be sad about if they got deleted.
-
It's because higher rank survivors have a lot of power. Killers often have to cope with unbalanced maps.
Sucks, but I usually just move on.
-
Guess the devs don't follow their own rules about giving updates some time before making changes again.
They nerfed Oni after ptb and instead of waiting a month or so to see how people adjusted, they nerfed him again lol (this time way too extreme).
Oni had the potential to be one of the most fun killers in the game. Sad.
-
Nope, good survivors still run the show.
-
Playing without Ruin is fine until you get matched with sweaty survivors.
-
Nurse, Huntress, and Billy are the most difficult killers to play in this game.
-
4 toolboxes is just asking for a mori.

Telling the person that beat you that they suck. That just means that you're worse than someone that sucks.
Is it really losing if you're playing against a killer with overpowered add-ons and a mori? Do survivors stand a realistic chance in a match like that?
Because in that scenario, I would argue if you need all that to win, then you probably aren't a very good player.

The hottest character is Jake Park m8, Julie has nothing on him. >:v
Julie has spoken to me and said that I should ignore your heathenish slander.
Good day sir.

Of course, Frank is a God. : D
That's blasphemy.
There is no entity that is close to being on the same level as Julie. Everything is gravel beneath her feet.
-
And?
My point still stands. Julie is a goddess, Frank is not.
-
Such insolence.

Blasphemy!

Aren't we all Legion mains?

Julie. Everyone else is trash compared to her.
-
We know lol.

I still get caught at safe loops. The killer will keep moving around the long loop trying to get me to fast vault. And I still haven't figured out how close I can let the killer get to me.
This is really annoying against GF killers because they tend not to break pallets.
-
I don't think I've seen one old school Nurse since the nerf happened. Majority of the Nurses I have played against were using the sweatiest perks they could find. And the ones that weren't simply didn't have a lot of perks on Nurse to begin with.
-
Or, you could play Julie with the Party Crasher skin and 4k instantly.
Just a suggestion.
-
Definitely Spirit. I main Jeff, so if the killer is Spirit I'm basically a goner.

At short loops like that I don't think you should be using your Dash (usually, anyway) the corners are too tight and the charge up time is just a tiny bit too much.
For those it's much better to try and use your normal M1 Demon Strike lunge, it's much faster and more appropriate for that close range. Really you just wanna kind of face tank the pallet and get it out of the way quickly because those are a bit problematic for him (Enduring's really nice for Fury mode). Then break it with M1 and quickly start Dashing after 'em.
So basically if they make it to a normal loop, I just have to suck it up and break the pallet? Then catch them before they can make it to another loop?
I'll try the non-charge M1 at normal loops and see if I can catch them.
Thanks for the tip.

Try doubling back at open loops and than charging demon strike around the corner before they get to the pallet.
It'll either down them or break the pallet... either way it ends the chase a log faster if they get downed or the loop is destroyed.
Try also slightly holding down M1 to activate it when you succefully mind-game a Survivor and get on-top of them... once slightly held and released, it still insta-downs them with a mini dash forward...
You can also dash in loops and press M1 mid-dash to down a Survivor with the hit... or charge at window loops to dash forward mid-vault and hit them... you can either hold down M1 at shack loops window for a down, or follow into shack and hit them mid-fast vault with a slightly held down M1 Demon strike!
So are you saying if the survivor makes it to a normal loop, I just have to suck it up and break the pallet? Then catch them before they can make it to the next one?
Because like you were saying, it seems possible to hit survivors when they are having to loop around longer walls.
-
@ASpazNamedSteve said:
Do you mean the hit at the end of Demon Dash, or the actual M1 Demon Strike?
Which one to use just depends on what loop you're at and how the survivor is running it, but you can use both for sure.
The lunge on Demon Strike is really useful if you know exactly where the survivor's going.
Let rephrase it this way:
I have my one shot power. A survivor runs to a normal loop (not a jungle gym or any loop with long walls). How do i one shot them?
I've tried flicking but I am always short. The only time you can catch them is if they are close in front of you for some reason (which is rare).

M&K is simply superior to controller as far as DbD is concerned.
-
It's a sad state of affairs when you can't even enjoy old school Nurse anymore.

You can't pop 3 gens in one minute, and a good killer can down someone in 30 seconds. Not all the time, but it's definitely doable. Pressure is not a myth, it's an essential skill if you want to do well at killer. It's not a matter of making the survivors fear you, but rather of forcing them into a position where they have no choice but to make certain strategic decisions, which you can then capitalise on.
I could go into details of how it all works, and I will if you want me to, but this comment was long enough already. Basically, keeping up pressure is the most important part of winning the game as a killer, and any good killer will tell you the same thing. There's a reason why the killers who are considered the strongest are those who excel at applying pressure to the survivors. So it's not really a stupid argument when you think about it - the whole killer gameplay experience revolves around preventing the survivors from getting the gates powered and escaping, and pressure is the way you do that.
If you chase one survivor for two minutes without downing them and ignore everything else going on in the game, you can expect to be at a disadvantage. On the other hand, if you manage to keep up the pressure through consistent downs, hooks, injuries and strategic patrolling in between, you can expect to do well because the survivors won't have the opportunity to get generators done.
The reason people bring it up so much is because it is the difference between playing well and playing badly as killer, and so when a killer does do badly in a game, 90% of the time it's an issue of not applying enough pressure. Basically, people don't necessarily say it to be mean - they say it because it's usually the truth.
It really depends on the survivors you get.
Yes, you can always improve yourself as killer which makes a difference.
But when survivors play at a certain level of efficiency, there's not much you can do to win. Unless you're packing some serious heat as killer, the chances of you stopping all the generators from getting done is very slim.
-
If I had my way, moris and keys would both be gone.
But I do agree with you. Map design should come first.
-
Why am i not surprised Puppers would be the one who came up with this idea lol.
-
I am fully aware just how much killers camp and tunnel, but BT is in a pretty decent spot I think.
If you buff BT then you are making the end game potentially very difficult for the killer.
-
DS should deactivate if you get fully healed, touch a generator, or rescue a survivor.
-
Survivors abusing a perk?
Color me surprised.
-
60k I think would have been pretty fair for tome 3.

Mori's should only be available by cypress rancor and devour hope in my opinion
Rancor is cheap imo. You don't have to do anything except catch the obsession at the end of the match lol.
-
You have to account for both. The 1v4 aspect is important to ensure the game is relatively balanced (meaning one side isn't too much stronger than the other).
But the 1v1 aspect needs to be considered too otherwise survivors won't have any fun, which could result in a much smaller player base. In other words, the survivors should be able to have fun as well when playing against killers. Crap like Iridescent Hatchets is not fun because you get downed so quickly lol.
-
In my experience mori users are quite bad at the game. So that would explain why you see them a decent number of times because killers in higher ranks will use them if they sense a competent survivor team.
It's irritating but unfortunately we have to put up with it (for now).
I honestly wouldn't care if the devs removed moris from the game except for yellow moris (those are fine imo).
-
Don't agree, locker protection is fine imo.
It should deactivate if you get fully healed, touch a generator, or rescue another survivor. Because at that point you aren't getting tunneled.

Disagree complayely.
I don't think any of Adam's cosmetics are good. Jeff has a few good ones, in my opinion.
Okay, both Jeff and Adam have one or two decent cosmetics. The problem I have with Jeff is the devs keep giving him the same type of cosmetics.
-
I've never cared for Spirit so I won't comment.
Nurse on the other hand I feel was handled improperly. The devs gave her a cool down which disrupted her aggressive play style. Now if you play Nurse without add-ons it's not so fun anymore.
I didn't see any strong evidence that suggested base kit Nurse was a problem, so I have no idea why the devs did what they did.
-
Idk, I've been doing alright so far. Don't get me wrong, optimal survivors are not fun to play against. But since Oni released, I have been having a blast.
-
I like to use Ruin, BBQ, Enduring, and Spirit Fury. When dealing with skilled loopers, it's always nice to have Enduring and Spirit Fury to help shorten chases.
Some people use perks like Thanatophobia and Sloppy Butcher to slow the game down some.
It's really up to you to decide. I would definitely use Ruin and BBQ though.
-
I don't think a good Oni can be looped very long while in his rage mode, especially if you can flick well.
-
At least Adam has some decent cosmetics. We Jeff mains get the same crap over and over.

Not anymore as I believe they were sadly banned :l
That's strange considering Doc as far as I know is still the head admin for the DbD wiki.
