Meh i love that game and even im dumbfounded as to why we're getting bb8
The devs are probably saving the popular characters for later on in the year.
Besides, the droids are quite unique imo. If they have unique play styles and abilities then I think they'll be good additions.

that game was such fun vader/imp always fun
Still is.
Two new heroes are being released this Thursday.
-
Never gonna happen.
If you want to play Vader, then buy Star Wars Battlefront 2.
-
Probably Clown.
-
I don't have much faith that the devs will do the right thing. Maybe in a few months.
-
I wonder if they'll actually take into consideration all the feedback? Probably not.
-
Just make DbD a PvE game and be done with it.
-
Oh trust me, survivors are having fun...
-
The devs are oblivious when it comes to red ranks.
-
I like the devs as individuals, but when it comes to game balance they are inept. Plain and simple.
The only dev who might somewhat understand the killer role in red ranks is Not Queen. She seems to be more attuned to DbD's actual game balance. But I haven't kept up with her in a while now, so I don't know if that has changed.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed in the devs. They are not on a good path in my opinion.
-
I play her every now and then.
Just isn't the same any more.

Was it the Trapper one? If it was i did and it was❤ If not which one i didn't see.
Nope, you should see it on the first page.
-
Just make DbD a PvE game and be done with it.

After what these devs have done to the game?
Nah.
-
I'm guessing you didn't see the image I posted, huh?

Funny how many veteran players like myself agree that optimal survivors is a balance issue.
Guess all of us red rank killers are bad at the game then. We should start learning from survivor mains since playing killer is not that difficult for them.
On a side note, I'll go ahead and explain why people have a problem with DS and BT.
DS is obvious. 60 seconds of pickup immunity is not an anti-tunnel effect. Survivors use that time to make reckless plays, which would normally be punished by the killer.
The easiest way to solve this issue would be to put deactivation conditions on DS. If a survivor gets fully healed, touches a generator, or unhooks another survivor, then that survivors loses their DS protection. The rationale is obvious. You aren't being tunneled in those situations.
I'm still on the fence about locker plays though.
BT is a bit more complicated. People don't like the perk because survivors will use BT to body block for a healthy survivor. That's obviously not a pleasant experience for the killer and should be changed somehow.
However, I also would like to see BT buffed at the same time. I think DS should be distance-based and not terror radius-based. I don't think Freddy and stealth killers should get a free pass to quickly down a survivor who just got unhooked.
-
Do you even have to ask?
-
I don't think that's necessary.
Kobeing off the hook is just a little DbD joke.
-
"Get me out of this survivor-sided game!"
-
I was going to be post this lol. Pretty funny honestly.
-
Sad news indeed.
-
Another veteran player who agrees the Ruin change was terrible??
Imagine my shock.
-
Pshhh. I doubt Mcote will put himself in another situation like that one again.
-
Because the devs have made survivor easy mode, so now survivors are being toxic to celebrate.
This shouldn't be surprising honestly.
-
The devs would never allow such a perk.
-
Oh man, killer nerfs.
I can already envision the devs drooling at the thought of this.
-
-
Your frustration is a direct result of the devs' ineptitude.
Maybe if the game was balanced properly games wouldn't have to be so frustrating for killers.
-
DS just needs deactivation conditions.
-
Getting annoyed of seeing the devs make poor decisions.
-
This is actually a pretty good list.
The main one I disagree with is Ash. Whenever he gets hit it sounds cartoonish.

Well, they brought it on themselves. They were told the issues, and didn't listen.
Just play some CIV
Exactly.
-
After the Ruin nerf, show no mercy. Use whatever you can to win and don't feel bad.
-
The reaction I am seeing from people only reinforces my thoughts as to why the game has so many balance issues.
-
I played Doc without add ons and he did not seem very good to me.
His shock range is pathetic.
-
If the devs can do it they should do it.
M&K is far superior hardware.
-
Balance issues are balance issues.
No one should be making excuses for the devs.
And just because lousy survivors muddy the waters doesn't subtract from the fact that optimal survivors are a problem (and need to be dealt with).
Survivors love talking about overpowered killer setups, but when it comes time for their own side to get adjustments, they start pretending like there isn't a balance issue.

I'll change just the perk name into an item name
"The devs confirmed their bias when they nerfed insta-heals"
Don't missunderstand me, insta-heals needed a change, as MoM did, but let's suppose they are survivor biased then answer me this, please. Why would they care about killers fun? If they were survivor biased, pallet vacuum, vault vaccuum, old DS would, old BNP would still be a thing, because being biased means they don't care about the other side. So before telling me "they were broken" think about this. Who cares about a broken mechanic/ perk if the people who complain about is not the people I care about? If they were biased, when everyone was complaining about MoM that guarantee free hits, the devs would say to them "git gud" and they didn't.
Not sure what you're talking about.
By nerfing Ruin the devs have implied that they don't think optimal survivors are a balance issue (which of course it is).
-
The devs need to do a lot more than nerf toolboxes and DS.
-
Wrong.
Good survivors have a sizable advantage over most killers.
-
The devs confirmed their bias when they nerfed Ruin.
-
You should know the answer to this.
Anything that inconveniences survivors is a no-no.
-
All the veterans know that map design is garbage.
But what can you do? The devs have their head in the sand.
-
I'm on the side of balance.
I want this game to be as fair for both sides as possible.
Unfortunately, the devs have shown they are incompetent when it comes to game balance.
So there's really not much else to do except try and push for change (which i don't think will happen).
-
if the devs don't nerf gen speed, then they need to rework all the maps.
Meaning, less pallets so killers can actually get some pressure going.
-
The devs gave optimal survivors even more room to be obnoxious.
So no, I don't think the outrage is unreasonable at all.
-
Not a bad idea in all honesty. Survivors get the royal treatment after all.

And I understand that, but I personally don't think they're always biased to one side, but that's of course where opinions clash.
Have they done questionable things before? Who hasn't. Is anyone perfect? No. But I know this, eventually we should see something about this in the near future, since Ruin was a big thing for Killers... so I have a feeling this isn't the last we'll hear about it, but that's just me.
The devs won't even acknowledge there's a problem. So I don't think we'll be seeing any meaningful changes in the near future.
They are utterly clueless when it comes to balance.
