As far as I know the MMR is same for all your killers, so you'll have to lose some games.
I am playing Nemesis is most times and i have good wins with him. So it is kinda hard lowering mmr.
But why my Nemesis wins affect other killers, this is not makes any sense. You can not swap your killer at lobby anymore, was not mmr reason?

Yeah I dont go off streamer views thanks I use my own opinion. Plus he throws out value and OP like skittles lol.
It's a shame you dont have your own opinion on the matter but the perk isnt that strong even on her, you can avoid its activation, it cant be refreshed during its use and you're a 4v1.
Maybe I'm biased because I play survivor at a high level but I really dont think its op or needs a change
My opinion is not coming from OhTofu. I sent videos for gave you example, that's all. It is so rude to call me i have not my own opinion. Please discuss with respectful.

I was curious when the first complaints about DMS would come... Yeah, it is strong on Artist (and Doc btw), but it's not op imo. Don't forget that there are also a lot of maps with gens at different heights, which also makes it difficult for the artist to control them. But don't worry, if too many people use it, it will be nerfed again anyway, Im pretty sure about.
Except Undying, which killer perk nerfed last time? Survivors are complaining about NOED for years and NOED is still here. And please don't make this they vs us. I am killer main and i am complaining about this perk. Because it is so strong. And on my case, Artist needs nerf. Not perk.

then let go before dms activates and wait for the crows if she keeps doing it. then do the gen. if she hits you with a crow just continue working on it since she is probably on the other side of the map. if she tries to hit you again you have to let go but by that point 30 sec are probably already over
She has 45 seconds. She can spam crows. PR is shows her which gen is most repaired. And plus she can use info perks. She knows where to send the crows. And plus one survivor on hook, so one of the survivors needs to go save. And 2 survivor on generator on this case. And if she chase one of them, this mean only one survivor on generator and she can force to block it. And also when some generators blocking, she has less generators to check with crows.
So even you wait for dms activates, she still can send crows and force you leave or take snipe hit. This is broken. Because DMS has good time, 45 seconds.

Why is it the killers fault of ppl decide to play like that? Also it was due to a perk not because of the Killer itsself xD
You know BHVR. People are telling a perk or mechanic is issue. They are looking who using this perk or mechanic. Pinhead nerfed for same reason, Pinhead mains had good combo for keeping Chain Hunt forever and BHVR did not nerf perk, they nerfed Pinhead.

I love coldwind too :D however the loops are even bigger and not mindgameble which sucks imo, dont know why BHVR loves adding those big ass open loops which just promotes holding W and break gameplay.
I think the Spirit nerf was kinda overkill in that sense that she is not a mindgame Killer anymore, she uses the phasewalk now only to catch up like a blight rush nothing else, you can perfectly hear now from where she comes which well I dont want to play a knock off blight simple as that, I just play other movementspeed killers rather then spirit.
She was mind-game killer but she was so op with Stridor. Spirit mains did this to themself. Spirit's counterplay was to mind-game. You had a chance against her if you were unpredictable. But they destroyed this with Stridor. So people really hated her. Probably she was one of the most hated killer on all DbD history. So we know end of story but i am glad she is still decent killer.

Heh.
My routine is generally 'survivor in the mornings, work, killer in the evenings'. And yes, killer can be very annoying sometimes, especially when the survivors are obnoxious.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2788767#Comment_2788767
Well...they are streamers. Nobody likes losing at the best of times, and losing in public with an audience is infinitely worse. I sympathize, especially with killers (for some reason, dying as a survivor doesn't feel as bad).
Dunning Kreuger syndrome is also alive and well in the gaming world.
Even tournament level SWFs and Nurses can not win all games, so it is okey to watch them even losing. If they are not being bully by some jerks ofcourse.
I don't mind die as survivor but this is issue after MMR. I mean i am always going to save my teammates, no matter what. But this makes me die sometimes and i am losing MMR. And this makes me team with really bad survivors. It is really not fun when your teammates are not good like you. This is one of the reason i hated MMR.
-
Hatch, key and mori changes were pretty good, they all were broken.
Wraith buffs were good but then nerfed him, why?
New hook skill checks are also good, i don't need to spam space anymore.
Also thanks god, i can drink my coffee while i am fixing generators now. This was also good change.
Plague buffs were good.
Most people hates but i really love new Coldwind maps, they looks so good and unique.
Spirit nerfed fairly, she is not dead but she is not op either.

For me - a match where, if I lose, I can easily pinpoint why and that thing is either bad play from me or good play from the survivors.
To me, those are the fun matches.
Where I get frustrated is when I basically lose at the killer selection screen, because I wanted to play a funky build on Pig and get sent up against a stompcomp with fully stacked meta perks, an offering and items, or because the SBMM system pooped the sheets.
I also don't enjoy games where I stomp. I'll usually start easing up if I'm up against newbies, but that's only slightly less crappy than just slaughtering everyone at 5 gens.
This is fair, thank you. And yes, i agree with this. I love to similar games. When i face with baby survivors, i am feeling bad for them. Or when i play against bully squads, this is also unfun. I love balanced matches more, even i lose.
I asked this question to him because some people thinks they are god and they need to win all games. I don't wanna give name but there is one streamer has this mentality already.

No. Killers are desperate to have a fun match.
And what is fun?
-
+ I am so bad with M1 killers. If i am not facing with baby survivors, it is 4 or 5 hooks.
+ I don't like to play as Bubba because he is best camper in game. And i don't want to be bad guy. I know there is some people are playing him with normal ways but even proxy camp is unfair for Bubba, he is so strong at that. So i am not playing him.
+ I need to escape for higher mmr as survivor but i am always going to save my teammates. I just don't like to leave someone behind me. And for this, so many times i died.
+ I never understood why people hate Haddonfield so much. I hate Swamp and Badham more.

Speak for yourself on Lucky Break. I never dreamed of touching Lucky Break before it hid scratch marks, and now I run it on maybe a third of my survivor builds. It's super strong, especially with CoH to free up the medkit slot. The main reason I don't run it more is because it kind of needs Iron Will with it and that's one of the meta perks I tend not to use.
Boil Over's going to be pretty dead, though. People used it either out of curiosity, which fades, or because the cheese strategy was so effective, which it won't be now.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2787739#Comment_2787739
How would you suggest buffing it, then? Because it's in a pretty tricky class of perk. It's hard to buff in a way that's both meaningful and doesn't potentially make it uncounterable.
Also, I did lose a couple of hooks to the stagger. It's extra potent with bodyblocking, but even without it, it makes getting through doorways very tricky. RPD was the map I was affected worst by it because you have to take very specific paths to reach hooks, but I got caught on shack or main building a few times. It's a very situational effect, so it's not good enough to run, but it isn't useless either. Compared to Buckle Up or Distortion, Boil Over got a decent buff here.
I don't know man, i am not dev. I disliked PTB version. And i am not a fan of the new version either. Still useless and dead perk for me.

It should have been strengthened in another way. Not bonus wiggle. But they did not this, anyway.
So what we had? Dead perk. What we have now? Dead perk. Why? Very situational. So BHVR did not anything good with this perk.
Exactly this. It takes forever for perks to get reworks / updates outside of number changes. Boil Over had its one chance of getting an update, and now it likely won't get another one for years, if ever.
Finally one person understood me, thanks man <3
Yes, this. They buffed Boil Over to abusable statu. And then they nerfed it. But this perk never needed wiggle bonus. It needed buff but not this. Now Boil Over will stay dead for years maybe forever.
-
This is normal. Hours and grades does not matter to MMR. If you win, your MMR will go to up. And you will get better players. And when you start lose, the exact opposite. Seem like, mmr works for you.

A perk that lets you break free on your own without any teammates intervening for you has to be either weak or very conditional, because if it's both strong and unconditional, it normalizes undoing a killer's chase for just the investment of a perk. That's inherently unbalanced. DS is an example of it done right - part because it's not always available, part because you can't keep doing it when it is available. (I do think it would be fine if current DS could fire twice, once for each hook state, but the point is that it's not unlimited.)
Boil Over was just way too easy to abuse and the emergent gameplay around it was completely miserable. It was conditional, but the conditions were too easy to trigger deliberately and there was no limit on how much you could do it. Meanwhile, if you didn't run to dead zones where it was impossible for the killer to hook you, it was still a really bad perk that was unlikely to give you any value in any given match. Especially without map offerings, because most maps have little or no verticality.
That's the worst kind of perk you could have - powerful if you're trolling, worthless if you're playing normally. From where I'm standing, something like that is better off staying dead than existing in that state.
It should not give you bonus wiggle, this was mistake. They buffed this perk with very wrong way. It was abusable, people told this already at PTB. And now they nerfed it.
It should have been strengthened in another way. Not bonus wiggle. But they did not this, anyway.
So what we had? Dead perk. What we have now? Dead perk. Why? Very situational. So BHVR did not anything good with this perk.
This is why i am upset.

I don’t know how common or uncommon it will be, but I can say as a killer main I’ve lost hooks to the stagger on it so it’s not “garbage”.
I never lost any hook against this perk. And actually i didn't see this perk before so much. Maybe max 100 times but i doubt it. From 2018 to today, 4 years. And this perk will not change. Still on deadzone.

It was never a good perk to begin with. It only works if you dedicate a whole build to it. I just want mettle of man to be buffed
If they wanted keep this perk bad, why they worked to buff it. Because nothing changed. Boil Over was dead perk and after this buff it will not be more common.
WoO, Vigil, Built to Last had good buffs at last update. I disliked new update.

How is the perk dead? I know I’ve personally lost a few hooks to the increased stagger.
How many times you saw this perk before new version? SWF abused this perk and now after this nerf, even they will not use (This is good change). But problem is, perk is still garbage. And if you are thinking this perk will be common, i would disagree with you. I don't think i will see this perk except Adept Kate gamers.

I know not all solo survivors are like that, but the majority of the complaints stem from their lack of being efficient. Now, you might think it is because they lack info but so many times I have brought Kindred only to watch them crouch next to my hook because they don’t have BT and aren’t willing to take a hit for me.
SWF is often successful because of the reliability it provides. Yes they can communicate better, but even if you were to mute each other, you’d still see them being efficient and knowing that you might have to take someone else’s aggro at some point. Things like that.
Giving info buffs to solo survivors will be good start. And MMR needs some changes too. Good players should not be team with bad players. When i have good teammates, i am really enjoying. This can not be so hard.

There are killers who do not opt to camping and tunneling all the time.
At some point even the best killers will opt to tunnel where it makes sense. All I see sometimes is players who think they have already lost (at 3 gens or their ruin got popped) so they want that one person, even tho they might have gotten more kills if they had tried.
Solo Queue survivors do not need a buff. How do you buff someone who constantly wants to hide and refuses to touch gens?
If we go with my way;
First, generators will not fly because game is balancing around hooks, this mean everyone will have enough time.
Second, after this changes camp & tunnelling will nerf too and maybe this will make killers lose the game. Punishment will be harder.
Third, all solo survivors are not like this. Solo-q needs infos. What is my teammate doing? Who is going to save? etc. This info buffs will make Solo-q better. Potatoes will stay potato and they will stay on low mmr with low mmr killers.

I'm suprised people think alchemist ring is more broken than tombstone piece or judith's tombstone.
This add-ons are also problem but at least Myers needs stalk you so long. And it gives chance to enough time finish generators. And plus, you can use all pallets against him and if he is close, jump to locker.
But Alch Ring? I don't wanna talk about it. It is super popular and that's tell everything.
-
Killers should not need camp & tunnel for kills. If you can kill only with this way, there is some issues. So...
Buff Solo-q obviously because they are weakest side of this game. And balance game around hooks. If you balance game around hooks; camping and tunnelling will be issue. So nerf this strategies. Probably this will be fun for everyone. I would gladly test on PTB.

At least the DS exploit change is your opinion because dbd would die in one day with that change. Everyone will get tunneled out.
I think he means for end game. If they buff DS for both hook stages, this would be good trade.
