If you want to beat efficient SWF, you will just destroy solos.

I completely agree that killers need to be more viable against SWF, but as someone who plays mostly solo, I don't want to have my games to get even worse just so killers have an easier time against SWF.

You can play however you like. Want to tunnel? Go ahead. Want to camp? Go ahead. But I feel like a lot of people who use these "strats" then come on here and say how survivor meta is OP, even complaining about DS and BT. These 2 perks are only "OP" when you tunnel and camp, otherwise it's like they're not even in play.

    Unjust nerfs you mention:

No one asked for a Billy or POP nerf. The Freddy nerf was also, again, overkill. He only needed his slowdown addons changed so he couldn't stack them, everything else was fine.

Undying nerf was justified, so was Spirits and Pinky Finger. I have no comment on the other ones.

As for popular nerf requests: I have not seen anyone asking for a Pig nerf, besides her being able to be afk and still get kills. I main both Pig and Freddy when I play killer, and don't think a killer should get kills by being afk.

Blight and Nurse need their addons looked at, same with Hag, but that's about it.

I don't think you understand what the word Taboo means. 90% of these forums is talking about Killer viability.

Rin Yamaoka's nerf is not justified! Apparently she had 1 problem but the community and BHVR we're too blind to see what addressing that issue would do and now, she's only seen as often as moonbows and there's a 60% chance her player isn't having fun if you see her!

No killer deserves to be gutted to where nobody plays them. It takes away from the variety pool. As a solo survivor I'm currently sitting at IRI III and the past 3 days I've mostly been dealing with Nurse and Blight and honestly it gets boring. I liked it better when it was Nurse, Spirit, Freddy (I can't recall if Freddy was still viable or not at the time of..,) and Blight.

I don't mean to us vs them, but I feel that things that survivors say are problematic can ultimately boil down to skill issue, while killers use the things that makes them viable to feel like a threat. Maybe I'm too understanding of killers, but I invite you to try and get me to see from your perspective!

IMO she does not need Buffs super-urgent. It is totally fine if the Devs wait some time. She is not the strongest Killer, but IMO a Killer which is really that simple to play does not need to be A- or S-Tier.

There needs to be more A tier killers though. Before reset I had hit iri IV survivor and I'm not gonna lie, constantly playing against Mr. Grimes and Ms. Smithson gets old really quick.

  • Honestly, I think Samara only needs an add on pass because she only has maybe 6 good add ons

  • @ItsJesseFFS said:

Tbh killers will cry and complain about every tiny little thing survivors have going for them, until survivors literally have nothing viable anymore.

False! I can't speak for all killers, but what we mostly want is something called "BALANCE" and when it comes to survivors having strong perks we want those to have something called.., *drumroll* wait for it..,!

    Risk/Reward

This is something perks like DH and CoH needs!

    Oops I didn't mean CoH

    Boon: CoH

If boons were a one time only mechanic per match, than we wouldn't be here

  • @N8dog said:

spirit got nerfed to be more fair. She was used (and abused) so often because her power took the "reaction and strategy" element away from survivors. Now with her changes she actually needs to do something to earn hits. I still think she's strong but her hay day has certainly passed.

What effort is there to put into her when she was nerfed like every other killer, to give survivors more than enough reaction time to counter?

They use to say "All you need is a good headset to play Spirit" now the script has been flipped "All you need is a good headset to counter Spirit".

    People don't play Spirit because

    1. Sounds: Chase music drowns out all sounds, and on top of that IW trumping Strider

    2. She has too much counterplay. It's not even fun playing against her because of how easy she is to deal with.

I don't mean to us vs them, but when survivors claim a killer has no counterplay or lacks consistent counter play that's a problem, but when said killer gets gutted like a catfish than the community wonders why no one plays that killer anymore and why there's no variety in killers.

  • @DyingWish92 said:

Anyone else feel the gen blocking should last longer?? Perhaps 60-80 seconds. Killer works hard to get 4 stacks, 4 hooks on 4 different survivors which sometimes can cost them the game getting to many mixed hooks.

This would be an extremely healthy change as it would give killer a huge reward for not tunneling 1 or 2 survivors which all survivors seem to complain about 24/7. So it benefits the killer by stopping gen progress for playing in a more fun way but also allows the survivors a more fun game as no one is getting tunneled to death. I feel like 40 seconds is just not enough and that's why not many killers run the perk.

Of course one issue would be getting 4 stacks of it at 4 or 5 gens against bad survivors but that's more of a "get better" issue as no killer should be hooking everyone on the team that early unless the team is just putrid.

While I agree with you, if you buff it, the perk will become BUSTED

Theres no way to counter her if she's good, he's just defending her, maybe the only killer he plays and is scared of a potential nerf.

Nurse is a mistake released in 2016 when the game wasn't serious yet, in the current meta she makes literally no sense and needs to be reworked.

I don't blame players that DC against them, i blame the devs to have left her in this broken state for years, she was used to be more broken yeah, but with the good add-ons (recharge and omegablink) is impossible to stand a chance, and let's be honest, she's only played with those add-ons.

For starters: I'm a retired nurse main

Secondly: I don't play DBD anymore

Third: Only reason why I defend is because she's one of the last killers that

    1. Makes the game feel like PvP

    2. Keeps the killer community alive and rewards her players for playing well and not winning because she has to entirely depend on survivors mistakes

Fourth: You say you blame BHVR for nurse being in her broken state (which is false imo), but who are you going to point a finger at when all killers get nerfed to where it's no longer satisfying to play as them?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2885815#Comment_2885815

Please do share with me how you consistently win against a good Nurse running all the strongest perks in the game! The one killer that ignores everything that survivors have to defend themselves! I'd like to hear about that one playstyle that completely counters her and her power, cause my 'lack of skill' sure can't figure it out. :)

Here's your number 1 problem. You said "CONSISTENTLY" or in other words "How can I always have the 51% advantage no matter what the killer does?"

It's called "PvP" where your suppose to gamble your tactics to outplay your player opponent until they adjust and so on.

A lot of people like to back juke nurse to force her to over blink and it does work.., until she starts doing shorter blinks so you can back juke into her bonesaw.

She just wasted her first blink and I'm in the middle of the shack and she can't see me. Since I'm closer to the window I should vault the window. Hold on wait! If I'm closer to the window she'll be expecting me to vault, I should just go for the pallet exit.., or I can stand here walking away from the window and pallet because ik she isn't going to be able to blink this far.

You see what I'm getting at? It's called using your brain, or as I like to say "PvP". But of course I'm a retired nurse main, so ik and understand how a Nurse thinks.

  • @CakeDuty said:

I think it depends on what kind of Nurse it is.

I personally find an average Nurse fun to go against, but a good Nurse with good add ons slowdown perks and I give up immediately, they clearly just want an easy 4k, so I'll just give it to her and get to the next game, cause survivors aren't going to stand a chance or have any fun. She is the one killer that breaks everything DbD is. Pallets? Useless. Windows? Useless. Walls? She ignores those as well. There's nothing you can do against a good Nurse.

So I assume that's why most people just wanna die and go to the next game.

You say that a nurse running good add-ons meta perks and is solid with her wants easy 4k's yet you suicide against her.

Have you considered that maybe the games balance pushes killers towards that?

You say that she isn't DBD and has no counterplay! Have you tried changing your play style like your suppose to in a pvp game?

Not trying to bust your chops, but your comment is literally justifying giving up because "You" lack skill

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

The big picture is that playing Killer is not as bad as people claim it is. In fact, it was the easiest it has ever been before CoH was released. Obviously it got harder with the release of CoH (which is expected, a new S-Tier Perk for Survivors will make Killer more difficult).

But it is in no way miserable at all. And IMO, most players who complain about Killer being hard are those who are just not good at the game.

And IMO, most players who complain about Killer being hard are those who are just not good at the game.

While I respect your opinion i'm going to heavily disagree! Your essentially saying that the "Players Skill" is the issure when really it's "Poorly Designed Character's" with a mechanic that's "No Longer Relavent".

For example, slicing the skin off a pineapple (btw pineapples do go on pizza), with a rusty dull knife

Your saying the person that's using the rusty knife is the problem, even though you ain't cutting/slicing anything with a dull knife.

  • @Colton147147 said:

Killers are not entitled to 4ks every game.

If you play killer at all, or remotely any PvP game other than DBD, than you'll understand what I mean when I say

It's not about kills, it's about standing a chance! Standing a chance to where if the killer doesn't get a kill, than they can improve there gameplay and actually get a kill next time instead of resorting to tactics unfun to survivors, or resorting to S tier killers!

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

Just love it that they just dropped another Dev-Notes full of Killer-Buffs and STILL people say that the Devs cater to Survivors.

    Yikes³

As I've told you multiple times! Stop looking at the small picture and look at the big picture!

Hemorrhage update, is pretty much BHVR ignoring the fact CoH exist

Legion update: As a gold rank survivor player, I haven't seen Legion since the dinosaurs. But they're updating a D-Tier killer to keep them at D-Tier

James update: It's good they're updating him, but they still completely ignored the issue with him. It takes too long for him to get Night Shroud back

  • @Adaez said:

She still is,for those who say you know from which direction she comes.

She literally has an addon that makes it impossible to tell from which side she will come at a loop.

Even if you do,its still a 50/50,just because you know when to drop a pallet,or when to vault a window because now you know when she's close, that doesn't mean you know from which side she comes for sure.

Spirit is just as opressive on players that play her at the same skill level as Nurse or Blight players.

If anything she's just as good, she just has a bit higher skill ceiling now.

This is the addon i'm talking about

    https://i.postimg.cc/ZYFFc33b/29hgfdhdfhdfjghjd.jpg

All due respect, add-ons do not define a killers strength!

    For example,

Omega Blink nurse made Sally way too powerful! Without those add-ons even the way Sally is now she retained at least 45% of her strength without Omega blink!

  • Lmao!

Furin/ Pre nerf Prayer beads doesn't work like that.

So long as Spirit is on the map all survivors will hear her phasing except it's omnidirectional!

Once your 32m (I think) from her weather she's phasing or not, you will hear her directional phasing

  • @PleassBuiltInNoed said:

I used to think she is close to S tier with some certain perks as you can completely counter deadhard and all healing.

However the more I played the less people gave a ######### about being infected and when they don't cleanse at least once or you don't use your free fountain well then you can lose the game in like 5 minutes no problem.

Plague has one of the strongest powers in the game, but survivors are never forced to give it to her.

This is why I say sickness needs to debuff survivors the longer they stay sick!

  • @GannTM said:

I think Nurse is unhealthy for the game as she’s what keeps the game from being balanced. That’s just my opinion though.

Can you really call her unhealthy and unbalanced, when she's not the problem?

  • @The_Krapper said:

The problem I see with most survivors in my games as nurse is that they treat it like any other killer instead of breaking LOS and making distance they try to loop a tile or they try and double back on every blink and those both are pathways to being an EZ clap, nurse does have counterplay but the most reliable thing outside of breaking LOS and making distance with unpredictable running patterns is having teammates that are committed to gens while someone is being chased, against a good nurse those gens had better be popping or it's a guarantee that you lose

You hear that survivors? Not every killer has to be Ring O Pallet counterplay, that's what you call P.V.P

Nah then what the hell is the point of using it to dodge a hit?

As much as I hate this godamn perk, you literally cannot change the effect of it without making it bottom tier trash. All you can realistically do is increase the cooldown. 40 up to 60 maybe? Unless you just rework it entirely.

It's called risk/reward. Something the survivor community isn't ready for.

Current DH for distance is no risk high reward. Blocking survivor interactions after DH makes it high risk high reward.

Granted the perk shouldn't be gutted, but second chance perks shouldn't yield such a high reward with little to no risk!

Examples of high risk high reward

Soul Guard: If your cursed, the perk doesn't activate

DS: Just about any interaction deactivates the perk

  • @Trex_Crazy said:

I think nurse blinks shouldn't have to charge because it makes dealing with w warriors really dumb. The charge mechanic really feels like a longer stun for nurse rather than actually making her play different. At most only the second blink should have to recharge considering the first is her only efficient way of map traversal.

Honestly, Nurse should have never had a recharge mechanic simply because her fatigue was literally her recharge state and she had full control over how long it lasted simply because

    1 blink = 2s of fatigue

    Additional blinks = +0.5s

    Swing after a blink = +0.5s

    Lung after blink = +1s

    Whiff after a blink = +1s

But of course this was something BHVR over looked and decided to stack a cooldown on top of a cooldown for the sake of there precious kids the survivors

  • @GamerEzra said:

I hope they just rework her or keep her disabled tbh. Nurse is OP with 0 counterplay and is not fun in my opinion. I still played against a cheating nurse while she was disabled and it was really weird. I hope she won't get enabled before she gets a well deserved nerf or rework.

    MY OPINION.

She has counterplay, problem is most survivors just want to Ring - O - Pallet with every killer that they've forgotten what PvP is suppose to be!

And please keep "Fun" away from "Balance" talk because fun and balance are 2 different things!

    @GamerEzra said:

There are so many other killers you can play. It's funny that some people can't play anything else anymore. Nurse is so OP that some people don't know how to play any other killer anymore. I think this makes it even more clear how unhealthy Nurse is for this game. Some people just don't play killer beacuse they are so used to the advantage of playing nurse that they can't win with any other killer. Just play other killers, it's not that hard...

With a comment like this, I'm 100% convinced you haven't mastered Nurse and then played other killers. Your literally claiming Nurse is a easy mode killer, but here you are being bias toward the role that's already easy mode.

  • @Abekrampe said:

So ive been triyng to play some games on and off, as both survivor and killer and i find close to no enjoyment in the game.

More or less every game as survivor someone gets tunneled out of the game on first hook, and on killer you barely get any time setting up before the first 1-3 gens pops.

I simply dont understand what the devs intentions with the current meta is if not to kill the non-competetively minded players.

Game stopped being fun for me a long time ago.

    Killer

    Gens go by to quickly

Have to play a top tier killer to stand a chance

    Survivor

Gameplay is boring same thing over and over again

    Meta doesn't change

Camping and tunneling is out of control but a must for most killers

  • Imo this would make her broken and would also force survivors away from doing gens to where they can't do them at all.

She would have way too much pressure on survivors (greater than Omega blink nurse).

While I understand your concerns for her condem mechanics, I think it was poorly executed, while also being a band aid fix for the devs refusing to give survivors a obj prior to gens

  • So it's okay that a killer doesn't have the tools to deal with something because your too lazy to change your play style like your suppose to in a pvp game?

  • @BoriskyTheFox said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2805009#Comment_2805009

Wait.. how are Blight and Nurse fun to go against?

Nurse can ignore EVERY loop and there is no way to counter her unless the player is terrible at playing her.

Blight is so oppressive with gen regression perks.

At least u still have a chance to save the survivor if a M1 killer is hard camping/tunneling but against Nurse or Blight there is nothing you can do, they can ignore even decisive strike coz you cant make any distance after hitting your DS if you are playing against Blight or Nurse.

Yeah, that's some serious entitlement! Your literally saying you don't like killers that aren't easy mode for you because you refuse to get good.

Nurse has counterplay, but I'm not wasting my breath on someone, who already has their mind made up and isn't going to look at the game as 1v4

  • @Sepex said:

Killers have tons of fun when they're winning and 4K every single match from low to mid mmr.

But boy oh boy the second you play against semi competent players and survivors that know how to defend themselves the game is just sooooo unplayable for killers.

I'm not having fun anymore cause I'm not dominating every match.

It's not about dominating! It's about having a Chance! But I guess you don't think about that because DBD has twisted your mindset on what PvP is really suppose to be, and not "The scale leans to one side"

Why should DH require Skill to use? Out of all Perks, why this one? No Perk requires Skill to use, Perks are basically "slap them on, use them".

Have you heard of the gaming phrase "Low risk, High reward"? That means you take very little risk or use very little effort, to gain a huge advantage. That's pretty much DH.

Perks don't require skill? Passive perks (Botany Knowledge, Coulrophobia) don't require skill, I'll consider Oppression more skillful than Dead Hard!

Answer my question in the post. Have you played her at all since 5.3.0 to at least give her a shot?

I have. And I don't enjoy her like I did pre nerf simply because her unpredictability made her fun to play as. Now you don't even have to use a brain to play against her.

  • @GannTM said:

Have you played her since her nerf? Did you just look at the 5.3.0 patch notes and come to the conclusion that Spirit was dead without giving her a shot? You all just completely dropped her.

This is making me sad because ever since 5.3.0 came out (which has almost been 2 months), I have only ran into only 4 Spirits. 3 of the games were very fun (the one unfun game was a Spirit on RPD who barely used her power so typical RPD match). I’d really like to see her more often because she’s very fun to go against now so if you did enjoy playing as her before but dropped her because she was given counterplay, please give her a shot at the very least.

I've told you this multiple times and your holding on to a lot of false hope.

Spirit is pretty much useless especially when she has a community wide usage drop.

  • @Phasmamain said:

I think i fought like 1 spirit since the nerf and she still did well but I actually managed to outplay her once or twice. Anyone who dropped her didn’t play her because she was enjoyable they played her for easy wins

    👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Nice attempt at throwing shade, but your completely wrong.

I never played top tier killers until I got to red/iri ranks and Spirit was one of those killer I didn't use until that rank. Spirit was a different killer to use at high ranks other than Nurse. But I guess Nurse players also want easy matches even though her power can keep up with high rank survivors.

  • @dspaceman20 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2665320#Comment_2665320

    I disagree they do correlate

Why do you think killers camp and tunnel? To gain pressure from gens going to fast. Otherwise why else would killers do it?

There are other ways for killers to gain pressure.

Slugging is the most effective way, BBQ pretty much tells you what survivor to pressure next. Like I said playstyle.

Camping and tunneling is only effective because survivors either allow it or don't work as a team.

  • @dspaceman20 said:

Say what you want about these strategies but they are direct opposite of each others and are used as a way to help gain momentum to their side. These strategies counter each other. Because they are basically two side of the same coin. together that they even help perpetuate an unfun cycle (Ie killers tunnel and camp so survivor feel they need to gen rush and then killers need to continue camping and tunneling because of said gen rushing and etc etc)

I see people suggest that they should increase gen speeds or add second objectives to prevent gen rushing but again because these two strategies counter each other fixing one without the other would create a massive imbalance for one side. For example say that gen rushing was made impossible for the survivors to do. The killer basically have no repercussions for camping and tunneling and can easily implore on the the two strategies to take a survivor out of the game and get massive pressure that makes coming back nearly important. Similarly if camping and tunneling is solved but gen rushing is still a thing the killer would not be able to gain any momentum to help counter the gen rush thus making the game unbalanced towards the survivor side.

Furthermore the issues of prevalent meta perks like DS and BT and ruin undying is only made more annoying because of gen rushing and camping and tunneling. Since these perks are used to counter these strategies. They are ultimately band aid fixes to the problem and could easily be dealt with if BOTH of these strategies are handled.

It's an unfortunate truth but because of this we can't make any sorta change to either unfun strategy without dealing with both.

Your trying to address 2 different things that don't even correlate.

Gen speeds are a core issue while camping and tunneling is a playstyle.

Camping and Tunneling should take a team effort to prevent but the community is more focused on the 1v1 and not the 1v4.

Gen speeds aren't the problem. The problem essentially lies in.

    1. Survivors not having enough obj prior to gens

    2. Map sizes

    3. Poor killers designs

Yeah, and wanna know what fighting games are known for? Causing a ######### tone of rage

They take skill, so does Spirit. But that doesnt mean its fun to be on the receiving end

Once you've been on the receiving end you learn how to deal with it and if you don't, go to the other end so you can learn to deal with it.

They way I learned how to deal with old Spirit was playing her and going into survivor and doing something called "Taking risks" so that I could get somewhere. Just because you can't play ring around the pallet with a killer doesn't mean they're broken

There is absolutely no skill in rolling a dice and hoping you guess right

And the actual counterplay to her was unrealistic af in a solo q game

Have you heard of fighting games? Like Tekken and Street Fighter. Yeah most fighting game gameplay 80% is hoping and guessing weather offense or defense and the other 20% is reads but those reads but 90% of those reads are based off your powers of observation.

I played a lot of matches since the update, and i've only seen Rin-chan like once when before there was an army of them all with the same school girl kawaii desu :3 costumes. For me it's basically like the update when Stridor was gutted and you couldn't hear the footstep where of a sudden they disappeared.

The killers i see VERY consistently these days like 70% of the time are Nurse, Blight, Huntress and Bubba to the point where it's become so boring playing survivor because i already know what to expect.

This is not a direct complaint to her nerf really, but every single time a killer gets nerfed in this game, you see always this group of people who sing the same old song of "now the killer takes skill, the bad players will stop playing and the good ones are gonna be fine", except that's pretty much never the reality because the supposedly "good players" seem to disappear too.

Did they all move to the planet Mars servers alongside the "not carried by insta saw A tier" Billys?

    Hi, Spirit main here

I only used her when I hit red ranks. Her kit isn't fun anymore and while it still possess its uniqueness, as usual survivors now have too much of a advantage over her.

I'm not sure why your surprised. Survivors never see this coming. Cry nerf certain killers, those killers get nerfed, those killer iaren't used anymore, and than survivors wonder why there's no/enough variety of killers.

  • I think they should have tied boon perks to hex perks. If a killer has a active hex perk than the Boon also gets applied to it. And if the hex perk is proving to be a threat, then survivors need to gamble weather to either give the killer strength or lose there boon.

  • I'm a solo survivor as well. I don't run any meta perks and do well without them.

  • DH for distance. Literally the definition of low/no risk, high reward.

  • Not even! If survivors worked more as a team, DS wouldn't be needed. Andlike most game metas, the meta makes up for you lack of skill or covers up core issue.

  • @GannTM said:

Like seriously, it’s been a whole week and have only seen one Spirit on my favorite map RPD who barely even used her power. Where did all of you go? Did you just drop her because she’s a “dead killer” now?

If it gets to a point where Spirit is as rare as Billy then I might be very sad. Looks like HaunterofShadows, ManOMaker, Scott, Samantha, maybe a few others, and I are the only ones left. 😔

I'm going to put this politely but very stern.

    "I told you so!"

Her fun factor is gone, survivors essentially have easy mode to counter her, and like all killers except Nurse she has to rely on survivors mistakes/not listening to win a chase.

Will there ever a be a switch up? You can't expect us to play the same stale meta that's been going on for four years much longer, I really want to see perks like autodidact-aftercare meta, that sounds like genuine fun.

Maybe one day we'll even see monstrous shrine become meta, but for now I'm sincerely tired of playing at high MMR and being forced to play with and against the same perks over and over. I'm trying to be the change I wish to see.

Problem is changing the meta is gonna reveal huge problems.

You change the survivor meta, survivors will just run gen perks which will encourage camping and tunneling.

Change the killer meta, gens will go by too quickly and killers will use chase perks, but gens will still be the problem.

Nerfing the meta will expose the core game issues.

The meta is fine on both sides. Just because they get used a lot that doesn’t mean we gotta nerf them.

What cookie is saying is that in order for other perks to shine, you have to nerf the existing meta.

Like in Warframe, melee was super strong so DE buffed guns. But guess what? Everybody was still using melee, so DE nerfed melee weapons and now guns are out shinning melee.

You have to nerf the existing meta, to create a new meta.

The directional audio makes way more of a difference then I thought it would.

Playing against her actually feels manageable and fair now, and maybe even... enjoyable.

You mean it gives survivors easy mode since survivors no longer have to use their brain to outplay another player while putting all the skill in the hands of the killer.

As a player of both sides I get sick of the meta on both sides.

Killer: dead hard, ds, unbreakable, spine chill, iron will etc..

Survivor Ruin, Pop, noed, corrupt. Undying etc .

I would love for them to gut the meta on both sides. Nerf all the meta perks into oblivion.

This is how your suppose to change a games meta, by gutting the old meta in this game will expose a lot of core game issues.

Is this ever gonna be addressed or will behavior keep acting like they can't read?

So you started first chase right? Survivor in chase has unlimited safe loops and pallets because no one wasted any since they're first to be chased... 3 survivors do 3 gens in that time... How are you supposed to get those 12 hooks or 10 or however it takes to get average 2 kills? Because u could have been hooking other ppl so it could take 10 hooks before 2k but by first chase 3 gens are about to be done what they think killers are? ######### wonder woman?

Gen speeds aren't the problem. The problem comes from survivors lacking a objective prior to gens.

The mid-chapter notes has caused a lot of players to question BHVR's ability as developers, and to question dbd as a whole. these mid-chapter notes introduced a LOT of changes to both killers and survivors that includes gutting spirit and passing it on as "a skill increase to playing AS and AGAINST her" when in all reality everyone knows this is just a massive nerf.

Another very out of the blue nerf went to deathslinger who, in many peoples opinion, didnt need it. To compensate for this, BHVR gave trapper a buff (a couple more traps), and plague a buff (Yay! she is now moving out of the worst killer tier and into the 2nd-3rd worst killer tier).

For survivors a LOT more things got buffed and is going to be added, namely the Boon totems to the survivor sides excitement.

All in all the survivors get a new survivor, 3 new perks, 3 buffed perks, and boon totems.

The killers get, S tier spirit dead, worse killers made mediocre, 3 buffed perks (debatable on HEX: The third seal) and the inevitable knowledge that they will probably never get to enjoy hex totems again with the release of boon totems. (not that it was enjoyable with your ruin spawning in the middle of the street or next to a gen).

A LOT of killers are expressing their concerns and frustrations with this but it's doubtful BHVR will care as most all survivors love this. How much farther until the constantly unheard 1/5th has had enough? How far is BHVR willing to push this? With as toxic a community the one-sidedness has created I am willing to bet it wont be much longer until the dbd player base starts to crumble with some much more promising games similar to how dbd functions comes out. I would love to hear everyone's opinions on this! (Pls keep toxicity/being rude to yourself)

Spirit getting nerfed put the nail in the coffin for me. People say she's not dead, trust me she's dead, because they've essentially defeated the purpose of her kit, and have given survivors easy mode against a killer.

What drove the nail through the coffin is boon totems. This is a unnecessary mechanic.

Ik I sound very killer bias, but I cannot defend survivors when that role requires no brain to play or even remotely to be good at.

  • 1. Core game issues

A lot of problems in this game come from the fact that the core game is unbalanced. For example maps, gen speeds, loops. This are the main core game issue

    2. BHVR's extreme bias!

I feel that BHVR only buffing and nerfing things by only looking through the survivor scope and not also the killer scope.

    3. The meta

I can see that BHVR is trying to change the meta, but they are going at it wrong. They are creating new killer perks that encourage the meta. They are creating new survivor perks just nerf them into oblivion. This kind ties into 2, but I don't think BHVR understands that you gotta nerf the existing meta to have a new meta.

This tier list is very objective because it’s a fact Yui is the hottest survivor in the game

I'm here to tell you why your tier list is wrong.

The hottest character in the game is my husband Dwight.

With the upcoming spirit nerf i think it’s only fair that IW caps at atleast 50%

    Nerf? No!

Fix the fact that it mutes 98% of Survivor sounds? Yes!
