How is 10 mins not long? Currently spending a lot more time in queue than actually playing the game since update.

I play SWF a lot and it takes ages to get into a lobby. It was pretty bad before the hotfix but now it's a lot worse. I also don't like how i basically have to derank if i want to play with my lower rank friends.
Killer lobbies are indeed faster now but i'd like the same for survivor because that's the role i prefer playing.

Yes, matchmaking is fixed but wait time for SWF is insane right now.
4 man, everyone red rank, tried it in duo too. Barely a difference but solo seems to be fine. I'll have to try again tomorrow and see.

Agreed, i hate finding another totem after i just broke one and knowing i can't break it before i use the healing i get from the first totem.
Well, you can break it. But if you want to make good use of the perk it's better to leave it there for later.

A very good friend of mine got me into this game around the end of the Hallowed Blight event from last year. The main menu music was very atmospheric and made me excited to play the game, i was sad when i figured out it was just for the event. That was also back when the game had better lightning than it does now (in my opinion). I'm glad i got to experience that.
The objectives for both sides are pretty simple but i still fell in love with this game and got hooked (i had to say that).
Unpopular opinion: While the grind is indeed massive in this game, it's still a very important thing that makes me keep playing the game. It might be very overwhelming at the beginning but after a while people get used to it. And the devs helped a lot with the recent bloodweb changes which brings me to the next point below.
The devs or more like the team overall. I like how we're never really left in the dark regarding news for this game and how it is being kept up to date. Of course there are still some issues in this game but i'm sure they are trying their best to make everything perfect.
Another reason why i love this game a lot, and a big one for me, are the characters. The amount of licensed characters we have is pretty amazing, some very iconic ones too. Also love the original characters and i'm hoping the next DLC will be a original one. My favourite characters for both Survivor and Killer are Kate and the Pig. Kate became one of my fav. characters in gaming. I love the Saw movies so pig being my favourite killer isn't very surprising.
Also like i mentioned above, while the objective is always the same. It rarely gets repetitive due to different placements of objectives, pallets etc. and all the different killers you get to face. Even today i still get scared when i dont know who the killer is at the start of the game. It could be Myers/Ghostface stalking without me realizing or Piggy crouching to my gen trying to get a grab. This never got old to me.
There are indeed a lot of toxic people in game but it doesn't bother me anymore. I also met some really good friends i play very often with and i'm glad.
I take breaks from this game sometimes for a few days but overall, it is my favourite game now and it became important to me. I hope it gets even better.

I agree that she needs buffs though.

I try to avoid Solo and play SWF instead.
What you could do is run Object and try to make the killer go after you instead of your team so they won't all get downed in the first minute of the match.

If keys get removed then Mori's should too.
Only mori i really have an issue with is ebony though. For the green one, maybe change the requirement because its not hard at all to proxy, tunnel and Mori.
Cypress could be in the basekit.

Just doing gens while someone's being facecamped doesn't always work. Especially if Ruin is still up and the killer has NOED. During that time its very unlikely you'll cleanse all totems and finish the gens. Depends when exactly the killer facecamps but still.
Also imagine the killer having Dying Light and hooking the obsession at 5 Gens with Ruin up and facecamping. Sure is fun.
Something should be done about this, it sucks how killers can take the ability from you to play the game. Especially really bad if it's a one shot killer.
Maybe a perk that allows you to unhook yourself with free BT if the killer is within a certain range of the hook for a certain amount of time. A bit extreme perhaps, i couldn't come up with something better right now that's balanced for both sides.

I agree with you OP.
Me and a friend went against a facecamping LF the other day. Lucky for him, he downed my friend rather early and facecamped. Ruin was up at that time but nobody wanted to waste time looking for it while he was being facecamped so we tried doing gens. Finished around 3. He downs the next person and facecamps them too (she tried to kobe for some reason but still struggled). We finish the last gens, he actually left her but there was no way we could have saved her because of time. Turns out he had NOED too. Me and the other random died because of it. Because you can totally do all totems and gens with ruin up in that time. Fun game.
EDIT: We did go against the same killer a week after. We got lucky that we found Ruin earlier, this time i did a flashlight save and he went for someone else. Was obvious he'd facecamp that person. He got another kill with NOED though, yet again..
Sure, it might be manageable against these killers. But holy ######### it's so boring.

I main Survivor but i have to agree.
Just earlier i hooked someone, saw with BBQ how a David went into a locker near the exit gates while someone was opening the door, i decided to open the locker because the person opening the door would have made it anyway. I couldn't remember hooking him but he got his free escape. Could have waited in front of the locker but i forgot i have hooked him before. Shouldn't really have to think about DS after hooking someone else imo.
Other than that i think DS is fine and i always use it.
I just don't like how the killer can get punished sometimes for killing too fast.

The escalation is now 1 week / 2 weeks / 4 weeks / Permanent ban
But you know that these bans only occur if you DC in most of your games?

I should have made it more clear in the OP, but this didnt feel like the usual farming games where the killer just hooks everyone 2 times. More like working with the killer to get me killed while also farming points. Forgot to report unfortunately.

They aren't great, especially after all the nerfs. But they're still my favourite Killers and the ones i enjoy playing the most.

Spirit is my least favourite Killer to against but i wouldn't even think of telling the killer to kill himself.
I just kill myself on hook, move on to the next game and hope it's not Spirit again.

Not interested changing my build to something immersed Blendette's would run just because of one Killer.
Even Nurse is more fun to go against ngl.

I can already tell you that it's going to be AC's only unfortunately, checked the DBD lobbies website and that one has always been accurate when it comes to cosmetic release date's and prices. Will be worth buying though, it looks amazing in game.
To answer the question. It's just that i still find this game fun even if the overall toxic community makes me want to take a break sometimes. Very fun to play with friends too. I also recently started to get back into killer (was very hard for me) and enjoy the challenge.

Yes it happened quite a few times to me especially after the killer had a bad game. Basically using that as an excuse lol.
Nowadays i only play SWF though. I don't enjoy solo anymore.

Annoying for survivors but nothing wrong with it especially since there's nothing else you can do at the end other than try to secure kills.
But if 3 Survivors are being slugged it shouldn't be too hard to seperate from each other so the 4th survivor can at least pick someone up i guess. So yeah, bad play on their part.

Yesterday i did DC in the loading screen when i saw a hidden killer offering.
According to my friend it was a spirit with prayer beads and an ebony mori.
Can't say i regret it.

I'd say it's currently a 90/10 split for me (90 is survivor). It was around 70/30 before but killer became way too stressful for me, i couldn't enjoy it at all. I like survivor gameplay more anyway but would still like to get back into playing killer more often too.

I like playing against Pig, Wraith, Ghostface, Leatherface, Billy (if it's not instasaw).
Killers that i think are okay and i don't mind playing against: Doctor, Huntress, Clown, Myers, Legion, Plague, Hag, Freddy, Trapper.
I feel like DC'ing: Nurse, Spirit (especially Spirit though).

This is pretty accurate tbh. Also why i can't really play killer, it just stresses me.
If a killer does it to me instead (hitting on hook, facecamping etc.) i don't really care. Because i don't feel stressed like when i play killer.

Survivor: Kate and Nea. But i also play other survs a lot.
Killer: Pig and Legion. I don't really play killer anymore though. Don't feel like it after the nerfs to these killers and i'm not interested in other killers atm.

Perk i can't start the match without:
Survivor: Balanced Landing (Or Adrenaline/DS, i can't really decide tbh).
Killer: Enduring or Ruin, can't decide again lol.
Perk i like to use but don't need:
Survivor: Iron Will (i hate stealth but it's still useful especially since i never run self care).
Killer: Shadowborn (the increased FOV makes playing killer much more bearable but i have switched to M&A).
Perk i like but don't use often:
Survivor: Object of Obsession (i like using it but its not uncommon to get tunneled with it).
Killer: Spirit Fury (very helpful sometimes but free hits are zzz).

Yeah, I apologise, I've played so many games with some really ######### Kate's that I assume pretty much every single one is the same.
Whenever it comes to multiplayer video games I always play the characters that nobody plays because I don't want to be like everyone else, I want to play my own way.

I've played every survivor and got them all to at least 50 (so far). And I basically judged them on their looks and their perks, I don't like the look of Kate and her 3 teachables are complete dogshit (apart from Windows of Opportunity helping you learn maps, otherwise it's useless).
I main Quentin and I admit his perks are trash, but I like his look and his style and his voice. Same with Tapp and Bill and Ash, I main these 4 characters (because I like licensed characters) and another reason I play them is because NO ONE plays them. I'm sick of everyone playing Meg, Kate and Claudette because that's all people play, I want some variety is all.

Do me a favour and differ from Kate players and please do try to loop instead of camping pallets
Can't expect others to like the same characters. And it's not like i said i hate everyone playing these characters lol. I just don't really like them.
Not that it matters but i actually do play different characters. 7 at P3-50 with 4 close to fully perked (missing very few teachables so i get better perks on others faster) and one of them is Ace. So it's not like i hate every male character just because they aren't female.
And no, i'm not like the majority of other Kate players (i know they can be really bad sometimes). The clip below has nothing to do with pallets or anything but i still thought it was a great play xd
I do like how you want to give some more love to the characters which almost no one plays btw., but you didn't really have to insult me because i like Kate.
