Nurse is still the best killer on console if you know how to play her, she’s just not as easy. Somebody who can play Nurse well can still easily win.
In terms on simplicity it would be Spirit, Billy, and Hag (although I do drop frames with Hag a lot especially on Red Forest and Ormond). They don’t rely on sensitivity like Nurse does. They are just as easy to play on console as they are on PC.
The tier list remains unchanged though. Nurse is still at the top with Spirit below her. Then Billy. Then Hag.

All Spirit takes is basic tracking knowledge and a set of headphones.
Apparently that's skill 😂
What killer really takes skill though?
It doesn’t take skill to shock survivors.
Or vomit on survivors.
Or throw bottles at survivors.
Or stabbing survivors 30 times.
Or stalking survivors.
The only killer that takes actual skill is Huntress.
Nurse requires muscle memory but once you learn where you can and can’t blink and how far your blinks go it is easy. I’m still not good with her though.
Spirit takes tracking skills and being able to hear which some players severely lack.
With Billy you have to know how to control the chainsaw but that is it.
With Trapper and Hag you have to know where to place your traps and where survivors are gonna go but I wouldn’t really call that “skill”.
The point is that this game isn’t made to be “skillful”. Only one MAYBE two killers require a lot of practice.

Thats true that myers is the strongest M1 killer next to clown but they are both still really weak because of this zero map pressure. If you have survivors that know what they are doing, you cant do anything against that genrush unless they will do mistakes.
Myers doesn’t really need a change. What would he even have for map control? Maybe a teleport like Freddy? I dunno, he is high mid tier.
Ghostface and Plague are the other two strong M1 killers, I honestly don’t think Clown is that strong.

Lmao depends on the killer for me if I'm playing GF id definitely prefer a vantage point that Ormond provides in spades but it pales in comparison to any red forest map
Red Forest is terrible for any killer with no map control the map is SUPER large.
Ormond I don’t like but it’s better than a lot of maps. My frames drop a lot on that map.
-
Pig is weak, Myers is not. Myers can be weak because he has zero map pressure and can’t stalk through corn but Myers is one of the stronger M1 killers to be honest.

But Ghostface never wore hoodies. If anything, they are similar in design to Jeff the Killer or Kate the Chaser from Slender the Arrival than to ghostface. Heck even Hoodie looks more like Legion than GF does.
I don't mind playing on Ormund, but only in very specific situations. (As Legion or Leatherface).
In this we agree...
Let me reiterate what I said...Legion is definitely somewhat inspired by Ghostface like Billy is inspired by Leatherface. They have their difference but I’m pretty sure they took some inspiration from Ghostface.
Also why do you like playing Leatherface on Ormond? I don’t mind Leatherface because survivors suffer from Bubba Syndrome and their IQ drops by about 80 when playing against him. I just hate Ormond all together when playing killer.
I think I like Huntress’ Hallowed Blight cosmetic the best but Doctor’s is the creepiest.

That maybe so I love playing spirit but hate going against her. Still not right people DC just because its a Spirit. People DC all the time, like when I once got lerrys and we went against myers people DCing left right and centre. I just put up with it.
@neacutie People complain about DC’s yet when they face a Spirit they wanna DC then.
The only time I won’t really blame somebody for a DC (other than a real-life scenario) is if they get Haddonfield as a basic M1 killer. That map is garbage for killer.
But somebody justifying a DC because they don’t like the killer is pathetic. If they hate it THAT much then just ######### on the hook.

Their look isn't very similar to GFs at all. Don't know where you pulled that comparison from. Sure, they have hoods and white masks, but that's about where the similarities end.
True, she does look different to everything before.
They are different... but I just like how Legion's has the Legion logo which the survivor designed and painted there as his first commission... I just like how it all ties together. To be honest, placing a desert temple in the Red Forest because... reasons... isn't that great.
Spirit's map is good too, although I find it annoying to play on.
They are designed similar to Ghostface. The hoods, white masks, multiple killers similar to the movies, the hunting knife, etc...It’s pretty similar to me. It’s just like Hillbilly vs Leatherface.
I wish they would’ve done a desert theme map instead of the Red Forest biome for Plague. It should’ve been a brand new map with the huge temple and pyramid style buildings around the map. Plague herself is probably the best work they’ve done design wise for a killer. They just didn’t nail the map.
Aesthetic wise they nailed Spirit and Legion’s map. It’s just awful to play on as a killer. I probably prefer Yamaoka over Ormond though.

Billy is easy to deal with, I don't know what you mean?
To you. To me Spirit isn’t all that challenging, but then again I played her frequently (I’m giving her a break, I’m getting a little tired of playing her).
I’ve played Spirit so much that it’s not hard for me to put two and two together and know when she is and isn’t phasing.
Maybe to YOU Billy is easy to deal with, but not for me. My worst matches are against a Billy.
-
@CornChip said:
Spirit doesn't play "mind games" she plays guessing games.
Big difference.
She lacks fun counterplay.
By that I mean using your own mind to try and outplay the opponent. Walking and hoping isn't fun. It's frustrating.
@CornChip A lot of killers lack “fun counterplay”
I don’t particularly like getting shocked to an oblivion and hearing The Entity scream in my ear (ESPECIALLY when I am on a hook when I can’t do anything about it) until I snap out of it regardless if The Doctor is weak or not.
I don’t like staying injured the entire match with Plague but that is probably the best strategy.
I hate playing mending simulator.
I don’t like when pallets mean nothing to a Nurse.
I hate getting tiered up on and downed in one hit by Myers and Ghostface.
Many killers aren’t exactly fun to play against or have fun counterplay.
Good lord...if playing survivor is that frustrating to people then play killer. I hate to take a LONG break from playing survivor and now that I am playing survivor more frequently it is much more refreshing.

You find Spirit's fun to play against? The #########?
How can playing against a killer that pretty much counters your every move if played by a smart killer be considered fun? There's nothing more boring and infuriating when a Spirit downs you at a loop and then whilst she's carrying you all you hear is "Ha Ha Ha" in your ear. It's as if she can tell you're ######### mad.
I just hate this killer, if they make her shut up with all her autistic sounds I might like her more otherwise she'll always stay my least favourite killer to go against.
@Chaddad2169 I mean...she isn’t very fun to play against but she’s too fun to play as and people will continue to play her.
You know HOW to play against her...you just choose to complain that she is boring to face. We all have killers we think are boring to face, I hate going against Billys. It’s the same ol’ getting reved in the back by a chainsaw and have a five second chase. Chases are short and boring unless you’re at a loop. I snooze against Billy.
Killers SHOULD have the power role. Just because you can’t loop a Spirit like a Leatherface doesn’t mean she is OP. You have hair animations, footsteps, and other subtle signs to tell when she is phasing in your terror radius. Not to mention a LOUD whooshing outside of your terror radius. What else do you want? If you’re at a loop it is simple. Leave the loop. If you choose to keep playing the loop and get caught then that’s too damn bad.
What are all of these horror stories with Spirit I hear anyways? I RARELY run into good Spirit players, they’re all hella boosted and can’t open their ears or follow scratches.
We’re all entitled to our opinions but Spirit is fine how she is. The ONLY thing that needs a change is Prayer Beads. That is a stupid add-on.
I pretty much agree with everything @Liruliniel said.
By the way...old Legion is DBD’s biggest mistake. Change my mind.

I'd say Legion's chapter as a whole is better, but if only by a slight margin. Everyone is connected to each other well, the map makes sense, even the survivor knows the killer, even if it's been years.
I also like how the cosmetics show what killer from the band it is... even if they haven't given any more cosmetics to them since neon Joe.
Legion’s chapter was kinda boring to me to be honest. Putting aside my hate for Legion’s gameplay...their lore has been done before over and over again. They are normal people with an “I Know What You Did Last Summer” vibe for their lore. Their look is also VERY similar to Ghostface. It’s just another slasher movie.
Plague’s lore on the other hand is fresh and a concept that hasn’t been done 1000 times before. Not to mention that her aesthetic is badass.
Spirit’s lore isn’t exactly new since it’s a Japanese ghost we’ve all seen before but it hasn’t been done NEARLY as much as Legion’s.
I won’t lie though...Legion and Spirit’s maps are beautiful. Just not very balanced maps.
-
I don’t like to complain about NOED but it is ALWAYS the bad killers that use it. You never see a good killer using it.
Some killers like Leatherface, Trapper, Wraith it is to be expected.
If you use NOED on a killer like Nurse or Spirit then it is overkill.
It’s kinda worthless to cleanse all totems because you won’t be actively working on generators. Plus I usually get terrible teammates :/
I really don’t care about NOED. It’s not as bad as moris and keys. Two things that shouldn’t exist. There are much worse things than NOED.
-
Easily Plague and Spirit

@Talmeer said:
Imo, the people have never really dc "because of the Legion".
The Legion was just the perfect excuse for them, were they could tell themself for their screen "that they dc because of the Legion".
The reality speaks a different language, no matter if we talk about pre patch Legion times, or afterwards:
Survivors still dc then:
-they got hooked
-they dislike a specific killer, as soon as they see him/her (and here you can put every killer in. No... Really... Every killer.)
-the killer let them not farm
-the killer is using perks they don't like
-the killer is using addons they don't like
-they lost a chase and so on...
TL:DR Some survivors just dc for every reason they can find, because they are not able to accept that maybe they are the problem, if they have to dc to everything.
But don't let you fool yourself by those guys. The most survivors don't dc, if we really look how many people dc in... let us say 10 or more matches as example.
Sure in some matches dc 2 or 3, but in the most matches, the most survivors stay in the matches.
Edit: At least after my experience and what I have read in forums.
@Talmeer Those are all very general reasons why survivors give up or DC against killers. That could be any killer, even Leatherface.
There were MANY reasons why they give up or DC’ed against pre-patch Legion. So many people in the community hated Legion for mainly the same reasons.
However, there is no reason to DC against Legion nowadays. I hate Legion for reasons I’ve already stated but I won’t screw over my team because of if. I’ll just be bored and play mending simulator instead of DBD.
-
They are boring as HELL to go against and it just turns into a mending simulator. Probably my second least favorite killer to go against simply because I hate the way they are meant to be playing.
Even saying that though, they aren’t strong enough to warrant a DC nor is any killer to be honest. If you DC against a Legion at this point you’re probably pretty terrible. They are a low tier killer.

Actually, you said that I already did. If you look at what i said originally, they also DC if you use offerings that only affect you, i.e. survivor pudding.
Why would anybody DC because you used a bloodpoint offering? You do know that somebody people genuinely lose connection during the loading screen right? I rarely have my games end because of lost connection and I DEFINITELY don’t think any survivors have DC’ed because I used a bloodpoint offering when they all use offerings as well. That’s just stupid.

Killer at red ranks is extremely unfun. Do you think Survivors care how I feel when they run insta heals and BNP? Your argument is like saying, oh well, the door the car was open and nobody stopped me from stealing the car. It's idiotic, frankly.
Yeah...it’s not particularly fun to get looped on Haddonfield but just because one group of survivors made my game bad doesn’t mean I’m going all out with Prayer Beads and an Ebony Mori on the next team who might not be sweaty. I CAN play every game with my 50 moris and win everytime but is that even a challenge or fun at all?
I’m not gonna play like a dick when they don’t deserve it and even when they do deserve it I’m confident enough in my skills to punish them. I play Spirit and Hag for christ sakes, I don’t NEED OP ######### to be good.
Don’t be a jerk to survivors unless they play like a jerk to you...and even if they do does it really matter? The game isn’t meant to be competitive. I’m not actively trying to run a sweaty build to make games horrible for other players. All you’re staying is that you should play like a dick to everyone because ONE group of survivors insta healed and used the already nerfed to hell BNP that really doesn’t mean anything at this point.

Doesn't matter. You still broke the rules.
And some people really don’t care about the rules. As long as there is no punishment for DC’s then it’ll continue to happen so you’re just gonna have to deal with it until dedicated servers are released.
The fact that you show no empathy to the fact that it is humans playing the game and only playing to have fun is really sad to be honest.
You aren’t going against AI. We are all playing to have fun and some things like moris, Iridescent Head, Prayer Beads, and five blinks are extremely unfun to play against so don’t be shocked when people either DC or kill themselves.
-
Moris and keys are extremely stupid add-ons and offerings. Being facecamped and tunneled because the killer is extremely sweaty is not fun. If somebody DC’s in the loading screen oh well...you’ll find another match. The match hasn’t started and you won’t lose any items or offerings.
Don’t be butthurt if somebody DC’ed because you brought in a mori. A lot of the playerbase have terrible rounds with moris. They’ll just kill themselves on the first hook anyways.
I can’t deny that keys are also idiotic though.
-
I don’t typically mind facing a Spirit especially if I am playing Claudette because I always run Iron Will on her. Only time I hate Spirit is if they have Prayer Beads. It’s just too easy to grab survivors. Most of them are VERY boosted though.
I don’t go against Spirit enough to say I hate going against her, but you’d hate any killer if you go against them too much. A majority of my matches consist of Billy, Legion, and Ghostface so I really hate going against them.

She is neither challanging nor demanding. People pick her up because they are too lazy to loop and pick up a challange of M1 killers.
You know what is challanging? Playing Wraith, Myers, Pig, Plague at high ranks on Thomson House, Haddonfield, Asylum or other poorly designed map where genrush will eat your soul. That is challanging and some people can do it. Somehow with the Nurse I am not impressed if people get 4k constantly.
Who in their right minds wants to play Haddonfield or Asylum with their ######### design anyways? I’d put Ormond and Yamoka up there as well for being awful maps.
Nobody wants to run infinities on Haddonfield as Pig or get looped for 3 generators with Balanced Landing on the main Asylum building playing as Leatherface. I don’t mind challenges but nobody wants to play in those situations.
I mainly play Spirit and Hag so I really don’t deal with loops for that long but I also play Plague a lot. Let me tell you, it’s not fun to get Disturbed Ward for three rounds in a row.
Also, why is Thompson House regarded as the worst Coldwind map? I believe Rotten Fields and Fractured Cowshed are MUCH worse.

Lol as much as I don't like LOOPING and wish it was removed, I know they won't. What I wish they would do is buff all killers to Billy levels. He's strong, can one shot all game, but is very loopable. Spirit, Hag, & Nurse are their own tiers.
It would be nice to have all killers be viable but how would you even buff killers to Billy’s level? There isn’t much you can do to make Leatherface and Clown have chase potential and map pressure like Billy. Buffing killers to Billy’s level isn’t really possible as they can’t all fly across the map and end a chase very quickly because they don’t have an instadown.

Ugh, having to equip two of the best perks in the game because they work really well against two of the best killers in the game? Life is rough for Survivors.
Imagine defending Prayer Beads saying that survivors have counters to them.
I love Spirit but even I know that Prayer Beads are extremely stupid and cheap.

They are fair as long as Spine Chill is in the game. Sure they are annoying as hell and they require detection perk but there is a counter to them. I'll admit though they should have some sort of downside like prolonged regeneration of the Spirit's power to balance them out more.
They’ve never been fair because they give zero indication that she is approaching. It’s just free generator grabbing. Sure Spirit has counters in the form of perks like Iron Will and Spine Chill but you don’t know the killer you are going against.
There is no reason to use them unless you want to run an extremely OP stupid build.
The ONLY time I will equip Prayer Beads is to get the trophy for pulling survivors off of generators or when I specifically hate a team I’ve gone against before (even then I don’t need them, I use them to be an annoyance).

I don't get where these people get these ideas from.
Did they honestly think the devs thought that survivors would instantly go through a pallet, drop it, and move onto the next one?
Objects around pallets have always had long sides + short sides, admittedly a lot of the sides are too long and has made far too many potential safe pallets but "looping" was definitely intentional.
The entire design of the Nurse is to be extremely strong and not make looping as viable as a typical M1 killer. As is the two other most powerful female killers Spirit and Hag. To an extent Huntress is as well.
Looping is not the ONLY way to survive a chase. Breaking line of sight, certain perks, and stealth can easily get you out of a chase. Just because you can’t run around Nurse like you can a killer like Wraith or Leatherface doesn’t mean her entire design is broken.
Now...when you can add five blinks then it becomes an issue. Her add-on need a rework and that is exactly what she is getting. Her base kit though? Needs no change.

Unless you have something going on in real life or are experiencing a game breaking bug then you shouldn’t dc, period.
@GrootDude Sorry to miss out on the thrilling fun of one shot hatchets, Prayer Beads, and 5 blinks. I’m not gonna stay in a match when two people already DC’ed. I rarely DC as it is, I stay and torture myself against Billy and bore myself to death against Legion.
I really don’t care what anybody thinks about DC’ing. I won’t stay in a match with OP add-ons while my entire team is DC’ing. Everybody DC’s from time to time.
-
@gantes Iridescent Head is so strong that even I can 4K with Huntress and I’m TERRIBLE with her. I can’t think of a very strong add-on for Huntress to replace it but I DC every time I go against an Iridescent Head Huntress as should most people, it is complete BS.
An extra blink wouldn’t be the end of the world but anything over three blinks is overkill. An extra blink and very long range add-ons should be exclusively purple/pink add-ons. Although some people can use them a lot if they are a Nurse main. I have nearly 40 pink add-ons for my Spirit and Hag.
-
@Talmeer Legion could tunnel down a survivor and down them in three hits with Frank’s Mix Tape and NOT have to wait for their power to fully recover. It was broken. All you could do is hope the Legion player was boosted a missed their swings.
Legion was not good for getting 4K’s but good enough to tunnel one survivor and kill them and make the game super unfun for everybody. The reason people played him was that it took zero skill, you got a lot of bloodpoints, and Legion still SOMEHOW pipped even when you killed only one survivor.
New Legion is also bad. They are so bad that all their power does is give you a Borrowed Time effect and a Sprint Burst upon a successful hit.
I just hate Legion gameplay wise. He isn’t good and also isn’t very fun to play as or against.

I'll toast a scotch in your honour once 3 blink Nurses are ######### buried.
I still think 3 blinks will be an ultra rare add-on for Nurse. Not saying it should, but I have a feeling that one of her pink add-ons is gonna add an extra blink.
-
@gantes True...a small change will not hurt the Nurse’s base kit. It is already super strong. If it is indeed a small change, she will still be super strong.
They haven’t mentioned changing Spirit but she is the next strongest killer people complain about. I am doubtful anything will happen to her to be honest, just sick of hearing bitching over and over again.
Old Legion was a curse...Legion overall is an AWFULLY designed killer. Never should’ve seen the light of day.
-
There isn’t much they can do to Nurse to make her loopable. If they put blinks on a cooldown then she HAS to be at least 110% movement speed. They already said that they are mainly reworking her add-ons. I don’t believe they’ll butcher Nurse. She is still going to be the best killer in the game.
Spirit on the other hand can be butchered by making her terrible like she was on the PTB. People have already said they’ll whine like babies to advocate a change for Spirit after they change Nurse. I doubt they’ll make any of the strong killers extremely weak.
Poor Hag got a change a short time ago, please don’t change her.
I play both sides 50/50 and I can loop most killers for a long time despite not being as good of a survivor as I once was. Nurse and Spirit (somewhat Hag) change this because they can’t be looped easily. I enjoy a challenge and being able to change my playstyle instead of mindlessly looping a weak ass Leatherface.
I get more Legion and Billy players than Nurse and Spirit anyways.
Think of your playstyle and changing it instead of bitching and moaning for stronger killer to get nerfed.
-
The hardest killers to face are easily Nurse, Spirit, and Billy. I can with Nurse (I’m on PS4) and Spirit (I main her). Billy however I despise going against. It’s typically a short boring chase.
I also hate Ghostface. Any killer that can apply the exposed effect and have a one shot is just super boring to me. Not to mention when he is in a chase he looks like a kid on Christmas Day running downstairs to open all the presents under the tree.
Any other killer I don’t mind. Any killer can facecamp whether it be an Insidious Bubba or a cloaked Wraith.
-
@Wubsyy__ If you think Plague is anywhere near Nurse’s level then you are crazy. If you deny her Corrupt Purge you are a constant instadown but she is still VERY loopable.
If you give her Corrupt Purge she has a range attack for 60 seconds but you can easily hide from her. She is tall and has a large terror radius.
My point is that you can always escape a Plague.

Some people just can't handle the fact that not all killers are just some toys who can be looped all day long and who have stupid counters ( looking at you Ghost Face )
A majority of the killers are just highly loopable and not viable to play against good survivors who get maps like Haddonfield. I’m not gonna play a killer like Leatherface and get looped till daylight when I can play Spirit and have a much higher chance of winning.
When a survivor can simply look at you and make you powerless or DENY your power by staying injured (Plague) there is a bit of an issue in design.
There is a reason I mainly stick with Hag and Spirit (trying to get good with Nurse).

It's a bug because it wasn't a thing until a few updates ago. It's probably low priority which is why it hasn't been fixed yet (and because it makes it easier to play against Spirit).
I will say no, she shouldn't move grass/corn. She would be completely gutted on Coldwind maps. It would basically be like her phase woosh from her PTB, where it was directional and she was super easy to avoid.
@thesuicidefox I dunno, I’m just tired of hearing people complain over and over again about strong killers (specifically Nurse and Spirit) having no counters.
A survivor already has SOME indication of where the Spirit is due to crows, footsteps, and a loud ass whooshing sound outside of the terror radius. It’s like they want to know exactly where she is pinpoint.
I’ve had survivors who knew exactly what to do and lead me on a chase for a good amount of time and I’m not a bad Spirit either. I consistently 3-4K at any rank. Counterplay does not equal looping a killer for four generators.
I don’t have an issue with counterplay but what people have mentioned would literally destroy the killer and make them unviable. It’s just annoying to hear people complain so much, ya know?

Footsteps are audible but AFAIK it's a bug. It's not supposed to be that way.
@thesuicidefox I don’t see how it is a bug. Why would it be a bug unless the devs have stated that it wasn’t intended? I don’t mind her having footstep sound. Since it has been said that she doesn’t move grass or corn, I believe she SHOULD move grass or corn.
-
@thesuicidefox Maybe I’m mistaking it for footsteps. I have heard footsteps before and nobody can tell me otherwise. That’s one of the ways I can tell where she is during phasing because I’ve AUDIBLY heard her footsteps.
I could’ve sworn I’ve seen grass and corn move but maybe it is just me hearing her rusting through corn/grass/bamboo.
Some people seriously don’t have ears, I’ve heard Spirit MULTIPLE times on where she is during phasing due to footsteps and rustling.
-
@Sairek I will agree that Spirit is pretty unfun to play against, although she isn’t my LEAST favorite. I still hate Billy and Legion more. Not because Legion is OP (they aren’t) just because I hate their playstyle.
The thing about Spirit is that you aren’t supposed to know where she is going, that’s the entire point of her character. You have clues of when she is phasing.
- Is she still in the middle of nowhere? She is phasing
- She scares off crows
- She makes grass and corn move
- She has footsteps
Three of the four Spirit also uses to track survivors. Spirit tracks on footsteps, grass/corn moving, crows, scratches, injured moans, and breathing. It is a guessing game on where she is and where you are. Basically who is gonna win.
I do like the idea that @NuclearBurrito suggested with showing you the path that the Spirit took to catch you. It should glow for a few seconds to show you the track she took.
I also believe that Spirit should have audible footsteps (louder than they currently are) and breathing similar to Wraith while she is phase walking so you have an indicator of where she is.
You should not have the vacuum sound effect when within her terror radius, why should you? If you stand at a pallet while she stands at the other side and you just SIT there that is all your fault. She also shouldn’t have a trail behind her or a glowing red stain like Nurse when blinking or a shimmer like Wraith. Not saying you’ve mentioned this but I heard people suggest this.
Her phase walk mechanic is fine as it is, survivors should just have a bit more of an indicator on where she is during phase walking. You’ll never have a clear indicator on where she is. It is the point of her character/lore.
-
People find anything to ######### about. Nurse is one of the only viable killers that can apply map pressure, has the power role in a chase, and isn’t able to be looped. Her add-ons need a change, Nurse should not be able to blink more than two, MAYBE three times. Her base-kit does not need a change though.
It’s just gonna go down the line of people bitching and moaning about the strongest killers. After Nurse it’ll be Spirit (which people already complain about). Then Billy. Then Hag. Then Huntress. Just find the next best thing to complain about 4Head.

I am just preparing you for when they nerf nurse, because right now loosing to spirit feels like loosing a game of dice. She needs something like gf, survivor looking at her disabling her power and putting it on a cd.
I think make her tr 32 + 115% sounds good in addition to that.
Why would you make Spirit’s terror radius 32 meters when you have a VERY LARGE warning that she is approaching with her whoosing sound when she is phasing? That makes no sense. She is fine with 24 meters terror radius and 110% movement speed.
Also how could you even disable her power? Disabling powers are a terrible design. You just become a basic killer. You can’t disable Nurse’s blinks, Billy’s chainsaw, or Myers stalk. Ghostface’s peek-a-boo “I hope he didn’t see me” stalk is pathetic and unfun to play as or against. You can disable Trapper’s traps and Hag’s traps but you don’t have a cooldown and you can immediately reset them. Spirit’s phase walk already has a cooldown, you don’t need to disable it.
Honestly if you REALLY want a change, make it so her footsteps are very audible like Wraith’s loud stomping feet so you have an indication of where she is during her phase walk.

I played Nurse for a time on Xbox to get good with her. I was doing serious work without Ruin after about a week or so just playing her. But you have to constantly practice with her or you lose the muscle memory and have to kind of start over.
That said, I personally don't find Nurse to be that much fun even when I was doing well with her. A lot of the time is was just frustrating because of how easy it is to hide from her. I'd spend all my time just looking for a survivor it was really not that much fun for me. I think it's fun to look for a survivor if they are really good at hiding, but with Nurse it felt like every survivor was good at hiding.
Right now the ones I enjoy most are Spirit, Ghostface, and Trapper. Huntress, Plague, and Freddy I enjoy too but they can be really frustrating to play depending on the circumstance. Huntress especially because she is so map dependent.
But now that new Freddy is out I'm going to add him to my killer rotations again.
I just can’t get the hang of Nurse because I am TERRIBLE with tracking due to the fatigue. I know I can get better with her with practice but it is discouraging to lose over and over again even when you know the survivors are not good.
I enjoy Spirit, Hag, Plague, and Pig the most currently. I’ll probably add Freddy to my rotation once I get better perks on him. Doctor is also pretty fun. I find the stalky bois to be so boring to play as even though I used to main Myers.

I love Spirit because she doesn’t have to deal with the BS that most killers have to deal with. If I get 4 DC’s I really don’t care. I don’t have to play the way survivors want me to.
Hag is also really good if I don’t wanna get abused.

@noneofyourbusiness I would play Nurse A LOT more if I wasn’t on console and knew how to play her well. Some people just can’t grasp Nurse or are stuck on console :/
-
I would argue that Plague doesn’t exactly need add-ons to be viable.
Killers who are actually viable without add-ons are Nurse, Billy, Spirit, Hag, Huntress, and Plague. Spirit isn’t AS viable without add-ons but she is still really good and can win pretty easily.
I haven’t played Freddy to know if he needs add-ons or not :/

Not sure...he would most likely be another stalking killer but I have no idea how they would implement another stalking killer without it being a complete rehash.
Maybe where he can instantly teleport to whatever location he wants on a cooldown and possibly a passive ability that let’s him see survivors auras for a certain amount of seconds. Should have a very low terror radius and an exposed status effect at some point during his ability.

Prayer Beads need to at least swap places with Mother Daughter Ring in terms of rarity. Or reduce phase movement speed. Something.
I think part of the "0 counterplay" argument people make against Spirit is that you don't have to make any concessions as a survivor to most of the killer roster in this game, so when killers like Spirit or Billy come around, a portion of the survivor community loses their mind. People confuse not having to alter their gameplay in any way against a Clown for counterplay, and they mistake necessary counterplay against Spirit as her being OP.
@edgarpoop Agreed with change rarity. I believe the downside to MDR should transfer to Prayer Beads. MDR shouldn’t have a downside. Still won’t change the fact that I have nearly 50 Prayer Beads add-ons.
Spirit is not as easy to counter as most killers. Plague? Don’t cleanse. Hag? Flashlights. Wraith? Leatherface? Doctor? Just loop them.
The problem people have with killers like Spirit and Nurse is that they are the power role in a chase. You can’t pallet loop them and expect to last long, you actually have to break line of sight and lose them during a chase. Counterplay with those two aren’t simple as it SHOULD be with every killer but it’s not.
-
@edgarpoop I try to avoid saying Spirit has counterplay because people will jump down your throat and say she is overpowered.
I’ll say that she doesn’t have as MUCH counterplay as a normal M1 killer but there are perks that help against her. You need to be aware of your surroundings, you can’t run around like an idiot and expect her not to track you.
It’s really a guessing game on both sides. The Spirit has to guess where you are going and you have to guess where she is gonna phase. Some people don’t like that aspect of her and the fact that she can just stand still and you have no idea whether she is phasing or not.
Counterplay does not equal running around the killer for 5 generators and wasting all their time on Haddonfield.
Only thing that has zero counterplay is Prayer Beads.
I don’t have an issue with a killer being strong. I play Spirit and I really do not care about whether people find her fun to go against or not. I’m not gonna feel bad about using her when I like playing her. I despise Legion but that doesn’t stop me from getting Legion for half of my games.

It’s useful for a stealth killer or a low terror radius killer. I’ve yoinked a few people off of gens with Spirit by getting within terror radius and phasing.
People aren’t purposely using it for an advantage but it’s not something you’re gonna ignore. Why would somebody ignore a survivor they know is on a generator?
Hopefully it gets patched because it’s an unfair advantage but it’s not a purposeful exploit. Killers can’t control it.
