First off…give us a link to the survey. Helpful don’t you think? Secondly…stop offering 2V8! It’s a waste of time. The queues are so terribly long it is hard to wait that long to play. Then if you do get in the match is over in seconds. What bothers me most, though, is that it interferes with the regular game. If I’m tired of waiting for a 2V8 match and go to play a regular game I have to wait in long queues too because there are not enough players for a match. 2V8 disrupts the whole vibe and for what? It is worthless!

The survey link is in the ingame mailbox if I am not mistaken.

I am genuinely curious how your experience is this different from mine tho, because 2v8 has been super active whenever I queue. Long queues usually mean it’s popular, and BHVR literally wouldn’t keep pushing surveys for a mode nobody’s playing.

Also, 2v8 doesn’t ‘ruin’ the regular game any more than any other limited mode does. Both can exist. If you don’t like it, that’s valid, but saying it’s ‘worthless’ just because it’s not for you is kind of wild when so many of us are having a blast with it.

I recently got my second Killer to P100 and so for the last few days I have been spending on Quentin.

I still manually spend, no auto spending. The Bloodwebs contain virtually no toolboxes nor medkits, even finding a brown one is rare. They just have Keys, Map items and and ons and, Fog vials and add-ons and map offerings with an occasional flashlight.

Is anybody else experiencing this? It's incredibly frustrating. I have not put bloodpoints into Survivors in a while. Are all Survivors Bloodwebs like this? Maybe just Quentin?

Yeah, i’ve noticed this too on some survivors. When I am manually spending, certain characters bloodwebs feel really stingy with medkits/toolboxes and just spam keys, maps, fog vials, etc. it definitely makes it less fun to invest BP into them when you’re specifically hoping for specific items.

Not sure if it’s just Quentin or certain pools being weird, but you’re not alone in seeing ‘depressing’ survivor webs like this. I’ve seen this on Houndmasters Bloodweb, but Sadakos is fine.

  • @Sauce6356 said:

Executioner is incredibly weak in 2v8. The killers chill but in that mode is so slow to get around the map and the power has to be fixed or something its way too underclassed.

I agree with this. PH feels really solid in 1v4, but in 2v8 he struggles a lot compared to other killers. His movement and map control feel too slow for how big the maps are in that mode, so his power ends up feeling kind of underwhelming.

I’d love to see some adjustments for him specifically in 2v8 so he doesn’t feel so outclassed.

  • @Nydenth said:

So, the great quality of life update of spending tons of blood points for multiple levels at once is a great thing, but usually Blood web chooses random options, or options that cost the least blood points thus you rarely get anything you want by doing this option, going for specific items is still better to level up one by one and choose them yourself, my suggestion would be a filter for the multi-level blood web option, so you can check in or check out items it should prioritize getting for you whenever they are in your bloodweb.

    W idea 💡

I really like this suggestion and completely agree. The multi-level bloodweb option is an amazing quality of life change, but right now it feels best only when I don’t care what I’m getting.

If I want specific items or add-ons, I still have to go level by level and pick things manually, otherwise the auto-spend will usually grab the cheapest stuff instead of what I actually want. 😭

A simple filter or priority system for certain item types would make the feature so much more usable and let us enjoy the ‘spend a ton at once’ option without feeling like we’re throwing BP away. Would love to see something like this added in the future. ❤️

  • @Mondhirsch said:

Please make BP-Offerings shareable for all characters, so when you P100 a character, you can use the earned Cakes and BPS with another character. I don't want to play the same Survivor over and over again, just because he's the only one with dozens of cakes :c <3

If you can use Bloodpoints earned from any character on another character, there is no reason to bound BPS-Offerings on specific character inventories.

100%!! I really love this idea and totally agree. The BP system already lets us move bloodpoints around freely, so it feels a bit bad to be “stuck” on one survivor just because that’s where all the cakes landed.

Being able to share BP offerings across characters would make prestiging feel more rewarding and would let people actually swap around without feeling punished if that makes sense.

Would be such a nice quality of life change, especially for people who like variety but still want to use the rewards they’ve earned. ❤️

Down votes are not the only punishment. What's acceptable in the game is not acceptable in the forums. Doing it in the game is fine but promoting "unsportsmanlike" gameplay is against the forum rules and can result in a ban from forums.

This is also part of the problem. The consistency just isn’t there.

BHVR doesn’t want to promote or endorse toxic BHVR. In doing so, this results to bans as you said.

When it comes to ingame problems that are exactly as we are describing. We get an email saying “Sorry. Not against our rules”

The consistency and communication is not matching the actions from BHVR which is causing an issue that should get cleared up for the sake of the community especially for all the new players we have been getting.

  • @Crowman said:

It's a shame to see them outright admit they don't want to police in game behavior, but it's not a surprise given how many in this community act. And until BVHR decides to take a stance and police actual in-game behavior, we'll be stuck with the toxic mess of a community that DBD currently fosters.

They always say anything that happens outside their platform is out of their control, but I don't see a lot happening when it comes to the inside behaviours from players in the game. This has been a long requested feature that the community has been asking for. An updated system for the ingame report. It needs to be enhanced and upgraded to protect their playerbase.

New players will thank them most importantly.

  • @random1543 said:

To be fair to the ban team here.

The game rules do not state anything about going next or afking, It does mention disconnections which is the closest thing but it also states do no report this behavior.

I'm going to go out on limb here and say its the same for going next, as both disconnections and going next have a in game penalty.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/139-game-rules

I get all that truly but, I really feel like BHVR needs to set some boundaries down or reconsider what the current options are.

  • @cogsturning said:

I don't why they even have the option to report things like rage quitting and afking if they won't take action against it even when someone submits a full report. Is it just there to make us feel better? Why did they implement go-next prevention if it's no big deal? Though I don't think people should be permabanned for throwing or anything so severe, a grade loss or matchmaking penalty is warranted if it's indisputable.

Yeah, this is exactly how I feel too. It’s super confusing to have options to report AFKing / rage quitting / refusing to play, then be told nothing can be done even with a full report and evidence. It really does start to feel like the report button is just there so players feel like they did something, even if it goes nowhere.

I also agree that permanent bans would be way too extreme for throwing or refusing to participate. But some kind of clear, consistent consequence like a grade loss, matchmaking penalty, or temporary timeout when it’s indisputable would at least show that BHVR takes it seriously.

They added go-next prevention because they obviously know repeated early quits and non-participation ruin matches, so it’s weird that the actual reporting system doesn’t seem to back that up at all. At least in my opinion.

  • @Wiccamanplays said:

Commiserations on the ruined match. While I can't judge if those Survivors were actually intentionally throwing the game or were just very bad or doing some stupid Archive/Tomes challenge (thank god they've stopped making those), it does suck that BHVR has a very unclear definition of gameplay sabotage that is rarely enforced effectively anyway. Even as someone who plays more Killer than Survivor I don't want Survivors to sandbag because that's not fair on their teammates and not fun to engage with. The reporting system in general feels very opaque and outdated and could use an overhaul, not that the devs have enough time or resources to even consider such a thing.

I totally agree that the definition of ‘gameplay sabotage’ is really unclear and barely enforced. As a survivor, it feels awful to be punished for trying while teammates can openly sandbag with no consequences, and as you said, that’s not fun for anyone. The reporting system being so opaque just adds to the frustration, because it feels like there’s no point even sending video proof.

I don’t expect every bad match to be actionable, but I do wish BHVR would tighten up what counts as sabotage and communicate it better. Right now it feels like players who want to ruin games are completely covered by “it’s not against the rules.”

Just my thought process ya know?

  • They just released an outfit for her and updated her power HUD. They might take some of the funds from the new outfit to fund the changes needed to adjust skull merchant.

  • @LethalPrince said:

Miss Houndmaster is my favorite killer in the game. Day one purchase, legendary outfit, played her through every patch. When she clicks she feels unlike anything else and I genuinely love playing her. I am writing this because I really hope she is on the dev radar for some attention because she really deserves it!

    QOL and Bugs:

There are quite a few bugs with Houndmaster that have been sitting around for a long time now and I really hope the team can dedicate some time to working through them because they genuinely affect the experience of playing her. On the QOL side I would love to see gen targeting with the Search Command made more reliable, something like a secondary lock on where you press the secondary power button while aimed near a generator and it snaps clean onto it, keeping the freeform drag path as an option alongside it. Houndsense also just needs to feel more meaningful than it currently does because right now it barely registers in most games. Even small basekit improvements like making scratch marks from Houndsense survivors persist longer or making blood pools more visible while the debuff is active would go a long way toward making it feel like something meaningful besides applying deep wounds.

I would also love to see the dog cosmetic decoupled from the outfit and tied to the weapon slot instead so you can swap out dogs independently. It opens up so much more creative freedom for future cosmetics and just makes sense for a killer where the dog is half the character.

    Map and Realm:

A dedicated map and realm for Houndmaster would also be incredible. She is one of the few killers without her own and she absolutely deserves one especially with how interesting her lore is and the location of where she is from!

    Addon Pass:

Her current addon pool is where I feel the most disappointment honestly. Most of it either does too little to feel meaningful, triggers at completely the wrong moment, or just has no real connection to how her kit actually plays. Some of the numbers are so small they are genuinely invisible in a match(Knotted Rope :/ ). I put together a full rework concept for most of her addons and some of these are a little out there but I leaned into fun. I hope at least a few of these sound interesting!

    Common

Young Coconut (Unchanged) - Increases The Dog's Chase speed by 5%

Trainer's Book (Unchanged) - Increases Houndsense duration by 35%.

Sticky Pitch (Reworked) - The Houndmaster retains her Search Path speed bonus for 2.5 seconds after leaving the path before it decays

Smoked Snapper (Reworked) -Moved to Common. After exiting Chase Redirect, Killer Instinct lingers for 3 seconds.

    Uncommon

Creature's Bone (Reworked) - Moved to uncommon. When The Dog is stunned, The Houndmaster's Basic Attack lunge distance increases by 25% for 15 seconds. Deactivates after a successful hit

Barley Meal (Unchanged) - Increases Initial Chase Path distance by 20%

Knotted Rope (Reworked) - While a Survivor is grabbed by The Dog, The Houndmaster gains a 3% Haste Status Effect

Belaying Pins (Reworked) - Survivors affected by Houndsense cannot hear The Dog's Lullaby for the duration.

Waterskin (Unchanged) - Moved to Uncommon. Increases Redirected Chase Path distance by 20%.

    Rare

Spyglass (Reworked) - Moved to Rare. While walking along the Search Path, Houndsense Survivors within 12 meters have their Auras revealed

Unfinished Map (Unchanged)-Survivors affected by Houndsense suffer the Exhausted Status Effect for 15 seconds

Training Bell (Reworked) - When The Dog releases a grabbed Survivor without injury, the released Survivor's Aura is revealed for 4 seconds and the rescuer's Aura for 8 seconds. Increases rescue time by 1 second.

Torn Novel (Reworked) - Moved to Rare. Chase Command cannot be redirected. Dog Chase speed increases by 50% and Chase Path distance doubles

Fatty Meat (Reworked) - The first rushed action performed by a Survivor affected by Houndsense causes them to scream and reveals their Aura for 2 seconds.

    Very Rare

Ship Figurehead (Reworked) - Survivors affected by Houndsense are also afflicted with the Blind Status Effect for the duration. Increases the time required to rescue a grabbed Survivor by 1 second

Marlinspike (Unchanged) - Survivors within 20 meters of a Survivor is grabbed by the dog become afflicted with Houndsense.

Leather Harness (Reworked) - The Dog's Chase speed increases by 5% per Survivor currently affected by Houndsense, up to a maximum of 20%

Gunpowder Tin (Unchanged) - Increases the Action speeds for Breaking Breakable Walls, Breaking Pallets and Damaging Generators by 30% for 20 seconds after a Survivor becomes affected by Houndsense

    Iridescent

Iridescent Wheel Handle (Buffed) - All original effects kept. While Undetectable from this Addon, The Dog's Lullaby is also suppressed

Spiked Collar (Reworked) - Moved to Iridescent. Chase Command can be redirected twice. 1 second delay before the second redirect becomes available

TLDR: Houndmaster is my favourite killer and I really hope the devs see this. She has a bunch of bugs that have been around way too long, her Houndsense needs to feel more meaningful, gen targeting with the Search Command needs to be more reliable, dog skins should be tied to the weapon slot, and her addon pool desperately needs a pass. I put together rework concepts for most of her addons with the goal of making every slot feel worth using and giving her kit more identity. Some ideas are a little out there but they come from a place of genuinely loving the character and wanting her to reach her potential. I really hope the dev team takes some of this on board, even small changes would mean a lot to the players who main her. She deserves the attention.

Very great suggestions! I am in your exact position. Since day 1 of her. I’ll upvote this.

My suggestions in addition to yours.

    1. I want even more voicelines for her! 🥲
    2. Recall button after using search command.
    3. Dog needs to pull back to her again.
  • I like that you laid out all of these ideas out. It’s always nice to have feedback so detailed. Even if everything doesn’t get used, they can pick out what works and what doesn’t ☺️

  • @CTL said:

I want to say that I like the idea behind sin, where toxic gameplay is punished in match by de-buffs, however the devs had this idea and its perfect to try to stop toxicity from both sides of the match (Surv and Killer) However I think they fumbled with it only effecting Survs, yes there is toxic Survs but there is also toxic killers, what about killers hitting on hook, what about killers humping downed Survs, the sin system has soo much potential for judgment to become a cleanse for DBD, but instead they have made it one sided.

I personally don't point at killers or T-bag them however what will effect a Surv like me is the waiting at an exit gate, yes some survs take it to a toxic level even tho killers can just force out in 10 seconds, but the situations I'm talking about is waiting at a gate to take a hit for a teammate that is injured.

I'm saying this because the devs have said that the de-buff for survs is old ruin what doesn't matter when the gens are done, so why even have the exit gates give sin, my guess and its just a guess but there might be something with add-ons that blocks gates above a sin level, its the only reason I can see to give sin build up for waiting at the exit, so why should altruistic acts be punished, because I can confidently say that the game will not be able to tell the difference in that situation.

Its a divine being…an Angel punishing them for their sin, not the other way around.

Oni is still not balanced. Removing every blood orb on the map when he enters power would make him balanced. Since there are two killers, it would not be hard to have excess blood around the map. Right now, the orbs are everywhere and once he gets started, it's impossible to shut him down. He doesn't need legion to make him S++++ tier when he's already S tier.

True. There are 2 killers. Maybe to make it balanced remove only HALF the orbs instead of all?

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/467005/so-we-ignored-all-survivor-complaints-about-the-zombies-in-2v8-i-see

Unfortunately as expected, your post will be downvoted into oblivion despite Nemesis and Oni being one of the most prevalent combos this 2v8.

But yes, Nemesis is not fair. Neither is Oni. Downvotes with no discussion just proves that killers don't want to work for a win.

I would disagree. Oni was nerfed in the right way bringing him back in balance. He doesn’t have legion anymore to fuel him free endless blood anymore.

Nemesis himself though I agree with you.. Maybe 3 zombies instead of 4. Nemmy by himself is balanced.

However if we are going to be fair and address killers we need to address survivors too. If we want to be punctually fair.

The escape class is very strong as we all know, it could use some fine tuning.

The scout class while not as strong is still quite strong. Lots of aura revealing, stealth but mostly remaking god pallets when the maps are filled with tons of pallets as is.

Generators - only 8 need to be done at 70 charges. They either need to make them either 90 charges each OR keep it at 70 but you should have to do 10.

Technically it should be 10 gens.

However is BHVR likely to do any of this? Probably not. It’s suppose to be wild, and imbalanced. It’s suppose to be survivor sided to incentivize more survivors to queue.

We shall see what changes that make. Pretty disappointed with this last update of 2v8. They changed little to nothing for survivor or killer.

  • @Brightened said:

First they increased it to 4 zombies from 2…

and then they make no adjustments at all to them.

-Zombies give away locations of survivors.

-They ALWAYS know where someone is.

-They harass gens better than the killers do.

-There are only so many limited vaccines even though they can interrupt during chases.

So explain to me how a 6v8 killer x survivor is fair? It's not? Got it.

And yes, I know scouts can kill them with pallets and reset them.. but that alerts killers to where you are now doesn't it?

6v8 isn’t accurate to say. There slow as all get out and it takes 3 hits to down you from healthy.

We can’t compare zombies to the same strength as a killer by saying 6v8…

Greetings, friends of the Fog! I hope this discussion finds you doing well.

So, if you are familiar with my posts, you know that Freddy Krueger is a character that means a lot to me. If you aren't, however, allow me to quickly give you some context: Freddy Krueger has been my main killer in DBD from the day I started playing the game, which was all the way back in December of 2018. Most of my posts have been about Freddy and, if I may be so bold to say what I'm about to say, there is an association between my name and the character.

Now, as a strong defender of the original power design for Freddy, prior to his first rework in patch 3.1.0, I was definitely not happy with the direction his second and most recent rework, which happened in January of last year, took the character. To me, his newly reworked power didn't even come close to fixing the main issue with his kit: how boring and uninspired he feels.

Because of that I stopped playing him for a while, switching to Skull Merchant who had already caught my attention by then. However, once a Freddy main, always a Freddy main. At least in my case.

And after getting back to this killer that I care so much about, I've found that my opinion… actually stays the same.

But I've noticed that Freddy isn't really a hot topic these days, and I would like to get a general idea of what everyone is feeling about this killer as he currently is.

So that is why I ask: what do you think of current Freddy Krueger?

Remember, every opinion is welcome here!

I totally feel ya and support you. I wish his dream world was a little more threatening than it is. Alarm clocks come easy these days if not that a teammate can just wake me up or I do it myself.

His dream world needs a deeper feeling of horror to it.

  • I think it could use an adjustment I just don't know what or how but I do feel like there are better ways to go about it.

The Killer: The Shadow Lord (Maul)

The Shadow Lord will have his revenge…..

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/ENX2BGSX4WIC/img-1508.jpeg

His personal perks are Hex: Dark Revenge, Endless Hate, and Scourge Hook: Crimson Machinations

Killer Height: Normal (Same height as Legion)

    Killer Weapon: Double Bladed Lightsaber

    Terror Radius: 32 meters

    Killer Movement Speed: 4.6 Meters

Killer Select Animation: Once selected The Shadow Lord will appear with his hood on, he will remove it and activate his lightsaber the same he does in Episode 1.

    Killer Power: The Dark Side

The Force serves the will of The Shadow Lord, often leading those who cross him to ruin.

Force Leap: pressing the active ability button will have The Shadow Lord ready himself to jump forward unleashing his saber to strike at whatever is infront of him. Any survivor caught in this attack will be dealt a health state of damage, if The Shadow Lord strikes a downed pallet or Breakable wall it will be instantly broken. Force Leap goes on cooldown for 10 seconds after the jump is completed, Force Leap's maximum range is 15 Meters. Once The Shadow Lord successfully lands two Force Leap attacks, he gains access to Saber Throw and gains 8 more meters of Terror Radius.

Saber Throw: When you land two successful hits using Force Leap, The Shadow Lord will activate the second blade of his saber causing a map wide sound effect to play. Holding down the active ability button and the melee at the same time will cause The Shadow Lord to slow down and ready to fling his saber, this takes 1.5 seconds to charge up the throw. Once charged up, The Shadow Lord will fling his Saber in a half circle with a range of 20 meters. Any survivor caught in the throw will instantly be put into the dying state and The Shadow Lord will retieve his saber and will turn off the second blade and return to his normal state. If The Shadow Lord does not hit any survivor with the Saber Throw he will not be able to activate Saber Throw for 10 seconds.

    The Perks

    Perk 1 Hex: Dark Revenge

(Those who dare challenge your power must be destroyed.)

Once you are stunned or blinded by any means Dark Revenge activates. The next time you are stunned or blinded, a generator will be blocked for twenty seconds. Once a gen has been blocked Dark Revenge deactivates until you are stunned or blinded three more times, or deactivated for the rest of the trial if the totem is cleansed.

    Perk 2: Endless Hate

(Your rage has no bounds and makes you stronger)

When you miss a basic attack, gain a 5% haste effect for ten seconds. If you have bloodlust, Endless Hate will not activate.

Perk 3 Scourge Hook: Crimson Machinations

(All the pieces are in place and now you are ready to go in for the kill……)

When you hook a survivor on a scourge hook, any and all injured survivors will scream revealing their location.

    Ultra Rare Addons

    The Darksaber

(Wielding this weapon ensures you as the true ruler of Mandolore…)

•Saber Throw now is your main ability while you must land two throws to activate Force Leap

•Saber Throw deals only a health state of damage

•Force Leap puts a survivor into the dying state

    Iridescent Saber Staff

(A lightsaber molded from the fog itself….. it reminds the wielder of a sibling long lost……)

•You have access to two Force Leaps

•Force Leap loses 5 meters of range

•Saber Throw Blocks Pallets and Windows if come into contact with for 8 seconds

Happy May the Fourth and Revenge of The Fifth!

As much as I LOVE StarWars and I mean I LOVE it…I absolutely never want to see it in DBD. Please god no.

  • There are a lot of killers they can still add that wouldn't be that hard to implement.

10 seconds is too long, but it should be at least 5 seconds. And honestly, some other things as well. Like working twice (DS is a mild inconvenience for most Killers anways and the tunnel is free after the second unhook), giving Haste or better ways to hide after using it, not running out while chased (this one is especially funny, because all people say it should not be used aggressively, since it is an Anti-Tunnel Perk, but when someone gets tunneled for too long, it runs out…).

Obviously not all at once, but it is pretty bad for what it is supposed to do. (Not saying that DS overall is a bad Perk, but an Anti-Tunnel Perk should be a middlefinger towards the Killer, not a slight annoyance)

EDIT: Since the title says "against high mobility S-Tier Killers" - I would not mind if DS works better against strong Killers than weak Killers. A Ghoul should be stunned longer than a Trapper for example. But then someone needs to balance this and I dont know if BHVR would be able to do this. I remember their difficulty ratings back in the day with Billy being classified as Easy and Wraith being classified as Intermediate for example… So not sure if they would be able to balance a Stun Timer based on the Killer player properly.

Didn’t BHVR at one point had DS at 5 seconds? I would love for it to be 5 seconds again.

I can’t remember if this was true or not, but I hope they make adjustments to the perk since they have all but scrapped the anti tunnel changes.

I am not one to complain very much, those who know me can probably even back me up on that. Even during some of the most infamous times of the games history I still pushed through because of the love I have for this game. But lately? This game is actually becoming so damn unbearable. Well over half of my games (60-70%) in the past week has had someone DC or give up at the very start/early in the match for the most dumb ######### which just spoils the rest of the match for everyone. Even when there wasn't a disconnect penalty and killing yourself on hook was much easier, it wasn't NEARLY as bad as it is today. There NEEDS to be proper punishment for these people because they are the most insufferable PoS. I had one who immediately threw themselves at me the moment the game started, I simply slugged him until he bled out (because ######### him for ruining the game) and then decided to farm with the rest of the team so that we could at least get something from the game. This guy waited THE ENTIRE TIME just to talk ######### in the end. We need MUCH harsher penalties than what we currently have and blatant giving up from the beginning of the game needs to be made a reportable offense because its getting ridiculous.

Then there's the new update where everything is just going to ######### with a lot more bugs that just make you question how the ######### does it even make it to live. In some cases it takes ONE. ONE GAME and you would realize something is wrong. Trickster for example, his spawn in animation is broken and he doesn't laugh when ranking up. Several killers having audio issues where they are WAY louder than they should be, and then of course there's the good ol' performance issues and crashing. Despite how buggy the game is I still decide to play it, I enjoy the game enough for it to not bother me enough. But now the game quite literally crashes every time it launches. These past few months were meant to be a "project health" and NOTHING changed. The quality of life features we have gotten are great don't get me wrong, but the game it self is still riddled with bugs and it really sucks to say that they probably aren't gonna be fixed any time soon.

And then cheaters.. I luckily have been lucky enough to not encounter to many of them but I know there are some people out there who unfortunately run into them quite frequently and it really makes you wonder how they've been able to get away with it for so long. I know its a never ending battle but it feels like the same cheats have been in play for SO long and it really feels as if nothing is being done to fix it.

It really does break my heart to write this. I've been a consistent player since 2017 and am reaching 8k hours, but I am so tired man. I just want to be able to jump into the game and have a good time, but it is literally impossible to do so. Please BHVR, get your ######### together.

Amen my friend - that’s why I wrote a post recently about BHVR needing to lock in since the 10th anniversary is approaching quickly and everyone is excited about it.

Not just for the anniversary though. This entire game needs to be cleaned up just for the sake of the player base. The goal is to have fun. Not load up to be frustrated. I know people will say well it’s probably time that you take a break if you feel that way, no, I hard disagree. I wouldn’t be feeling this way if things worked properly in the game. I shouldn’t have to feel this way. Behavior really needs to lock in.

This isn’t new of course and we all share the same thoughts on this.

So in other words, a limited time game mode that comes out every couple of months, there's absolute extraordinary nothing

just 2 minor changes for deathslinger and oni, a buff to survivors anti camp, two new maps, that's literally it

no new killers added for 2v8, not even a new class role, no adjustments to other class roles, brute class still being one of the worst class for killer, absolute nothing

I know it's popular for casual players, but if there's really nothing new to the mode it gives me no incentive to even try it out especially when queue times are severely long as killer especially around normal 1v4 matches

Yeah….this 2v8 update was disappointing. No new content at all was a bummer. I am not sure what the thought process was behind this. Surely they knew people would react this way.

  • @BongoBoys said:

Seriously Devs this is the 2nd 2v8 without any new content no I'm not counting buffs or maps. Next 2v8 HAS to have a New Killer added and a new Class for Survivors get that boon class already

    I would love a boon class! ❤️

sadly, i think they dont want to put work into her with her being so unpopular. but she literally has a dog thats literally the focus of her. She should be the face of the collection. I will say, in my opinion i think she already has some of the best cosmetics in the game.

I get it, it just upsets me. It’s such a good opportunity for her to be the face of it.

Skull Merchant is getting a new outfit and she less played than Houndmaster. She’s also in bad condition right now too. 😭

Like why her over my girl Portia.

I’ve been seeing more Houndmasters recently which has been refreshing. Slowly her bugs are getting fixed so that’s good.

Really hoping we get an ETA on resolving the crashing issues. This is the first round of 2v8 that I actually really wanted to play, but I can't because I'll just rack up penalties from random crashing.

Yeah that would be nice. 😊

The lag in 2v8 this iteration has really been unusual too. Ive never experienced it like this before. Hopefully another bug patch is incoming.

  • It’s the cats and dog collection. Why once again does she get nothingggggg 😭

    Makes no pooping sense.

It is different from skin to skin. E.g. the MiNA-Skin has a custom Mori (and IMO this is how a skin with that prize tag should be).

The Houndmaster-Skin has a unique looking Power. The issue I have here is simply that I think those should be sold separately. Because to have a different Dog you also need to like the rest of the Skin. I play her very rarely, so I did not buy the skin anyway, but if for example Billy would get a Skin with a different Chainsaw-Model, I would be disappointed if I dont like the rest of the Skin and would not get it for example.

Yeah I regret my purchase. I wanted the dog not the outfit. That would be neat. I prefer snug anyways over the poodle 🐩 but still would be nice to have in my collection on the occasional time I do choose her.

I totally get what you’re saying, makes sense. Just wish BHVR would correct these outfits.

Yeah. Either by adding stuff to the Skin or by adjusting the price (and compensate those who already bought it).

Agreed! Doesn’t these types of skins usually come with unique Mori’s?

I bought my first one with Houndmaster the ultimate Houndmaster, but it kinda felt like I didn’t get much with it.

Survivors don't find her fun, so not happening.

Seriously, that's their new rule for future killers.

"Both sides must consider them fun."

I want to know by that rule when are Nurse and Blight being removed?

Most survivors I play with and have spoken to haven't really said this…To each their own but she still would be an easy add for 2v8. Just her and her doggy :D

    Yeah pretty much.

But I would say the Attack Titan Skin is even worse. I did not buy it, but even seeing it got me upset for several reasons:

    • They are pure Ports from Mobile
    • They are 3 Recolors which dont differ much from each other for the full price… IMO if you buy one, the others should drop to 1080 ACs
    • The Skin is not worth the price tag of 1485, since it does not have enough unique features for it… No unique Mori, not even a unique Terror Radius (THIS is cheap!)
    • And the worst part is - we have Naughty Bear who is the same price but features so much more

I dont blame anyone who buys the Skin because they like Trapper or Attack on Titan. But it is such a lazy work from BHVR that they dont deserve any bit of money for it. Even if the License Holders were against anything which would make the Skin unique (like new Chase music or a Mori), then BHVR should have put the Skin at 1080 ACs and not 1485.

You hit the nail on the head. BHVR could have done so much more and should have for the price tag. They need to fix this asap.

There was a full engine update which always requires things to be downloaded again, making it a much bigger update than normal.

What does a full engine update do exactly for the game from a technical standpoint? :D

So true she is incredibly buggy, but the synergies with other killers would be soooo gooood, she can send her dog to search a gen, and your teamate can follow the line getting speed, and survivors getting hit with houndsense, and killer instinct. You are right, she may never apear in 2v8, because she is unpopular 🥲

She's an easy add. I am sure they will do it no problem.

I’ve been playing a fair bit, but honestly it gets tiring facing the same killers over and over, in my matches it’s been mostly Oni, Hillbilly or Dracula. I think I may just head to regular games for a bit for some variety but I can admit if BP was increased it’d definitely help me play more.

Regular games you will get the same 3 killers over there lol…Just switch back to 2v8 when you are tired of that.

my first night playing, every match but one I had one survivor with sprint burst follow me the whole game and use their power any time id get close to somebody.

I can feel a hunger gnawing at me...I yearn for the ghoul to be added to 2v8 if I have to endure any more of this

    Ghoul! No….no…no…just no lol.

  • @100PercentBPMain said:

I'm surprised they haven't added her honestly

I cant wait! She is so fun! I would have such a field day in 2v8 and I would love to go against her.

  • Yesssssss!! I want my houndmaster!!!

Keep an eye out for this pop-up when queuing for Killer and play a Survivor Trial while you wait!

Had a chance to check this out already? How're you liking it? 📝

Does this work if you queue for survivor but it could be a while so it throws you in a killer queue?

    That would be neat!

What's the point of patch notes if they willingly omit important info like nerfs

That’s what I am saying. If it’s not in the patch notes I will assume it’s a bug and report it as such. If they close the ticket and say it’s by design then yeah..they “forgot” to write it in the patch notes.

  • @MissiCiv said:

They shadow nerfed his shock delay addons because they gave him a joke buff ( without saying anything in the patch notes )

That's odd. Doesn't make any sense. Why would they do that? (Not denying your statement..I am genuinely confused.)
