Idk what you are talking about.
I can remove it whenever I feel like it.
Get off my back about it
Please, I need help 😭
Life of a Nurse main in a nutshell.

He can be decent but he definitely can't reach his full potential like on kb+m in order to do flicks and such.
-
Well uhhh your welcome :)
I tend to give hatch quite alot (even though I still think it's a bad mechanic) and you probably wouldn't believe me if I told you that by this point I have more messages of survivors thanking me, giving ggs, and giving props than I have of salt mail. That's why I do it. Met alot of cool people that way. Even if the previous match the survivors manage to get 3 or 4 out and they tbag out the gates I'll still likely give hatch to the last person next match.
Edit: Actually as a matter of fact I made a thread once highlighting those messages I get from the survivors.

Whenever I forget to store the item I escaped with in the previous match.

I agree with you yes. He's still a strong killer. I'm getting the impression that you yourself are a good flickbilly? If so props I have major respect for good billys that can land some sick curves. But anyways the reason I don't play him anymore is because he feels awful to play for me. The animations, the annoying chase music, the roar. Sure they don't affect his strength but they make him highly unpleasant for me to play. Even still though I will still play him once in a while because part of me still wants to learn how to play flickbilly myself (I was trying to learn how before he got changed) but man I just can't get over how awful he feels. Honestly if they would just change his animations back to the old ones I would play him alot more.

My current console nurse build is Whispers / Shadowborn / Infectious Fright / Bbq or Ruin.
You'll notice that I personally like using tracking perks and that's because I'm pretty confident in my ability to down people and just need to be able to find them quickly. If her bugs feel like screwing me over on a particular day then I'll just throw on ruin to buy myself a bit of extra time.
If you're just trying to learn her then I suggest stacking 2 or 3 slowdown perks like Ruin/Undying or Corrupt/Pop so you have more time to practice her and have more chases and you can try using I'm All Ears to learn survivor patterns better when they vault like how they move and what mindgames they might try to do. You can also use Shadowborn which is kind of a double edge sword. When I was first learning her a couple years back it helped me immensely with easing into the feel of Nurse. It's extremely addicting though because it feels so nice to run. Eventually I stopped using it because I didn't really need it anymore and realized there was better stuff to run. Then I took a break and came back and I was ass so now I run it again. I think it's about time I took it off again though but like I said it's addicting.
You can also try using her plaid flannel add-on but I don't really recommend using it for more than one or maybe two games. You just want to get a general idea of how her blinks work and how far they go with it. It's not good to use to practice chases because it messes with your concentration.
Other than that most people will tell you not to run any add-ons because it will mess with your muscle memory, but this is only partly true. You can still use things like blink recharge and even fatigue reduction and you should still be fine because even after you learn her these will be the add-ons you run most of the time anyways. If you have a hard time tracking survivors after you hit them then metal spoon can help with that too.
Another tip I have is to try playing at a high sensitivity. You want to at least be able to play at something like 60+ (especially if you have crossplay enabled) (Mine is 70). Which brings me to my next point. You might want to turn off crossplay while you practice her. It's really up to you but pc players will usually be alot better at knowing how to run a Nurse than a console player would. This is because Nurse is a bit more frequent on pc so naturally the survivors had more time to develop their "counterplay" against her. It's really up to you though whether you want to learn how to counter their "counterplay" now or later.
Anyways good luck and don't hesitate to ask about anything else because I love helping aspiring console nurse players. (I'm sure the essay gives that away)

Ehhh it really depends for me. Usually if I'm playing in the morning or afternoon I'm just chilling. If I'm playing in the evening or at night I feel like I play more seriously. Not like hard tunneling or camping but more like sitting up and closer to the tv and focusing if that makes sense lol.

Short answer: No
Long answer: No it doesn't

Well for me I much prefer killer over survivor because it's much more engaging and the queue times are (way) shorter. Almost every second you're playing killer you'll be chasing someone and whether you're having fun or being fustrated at least you aren't bored. When it comes to playing survivor you'll only get to have up to a few chases each game (that you spend like 10 minutes waiting for) and the rest of the match you spend holding down a button staring at a progression bar. I'm sure playing with friends makes survivor alot more fun but I don't have very many that play this game so..I play survivor sparingly. Oh and not to mention the absolute baked potato teammates you can get in solo.
-
From my understanding the game thinks you are trying to go into the basement when you blink based on one of 2 things.
1. You're looking down at where the basement is while you are above it
2. You mischarge a blink while trying to go through a wall or something else above the basment and you end up going straight into the basement instead regardless of whether you were looking at the ground or not.
This means that when you are playing around basement you just have to be more careful and precise with your blinks because you can't cancel or shorten your blinks by looking down and you can't accdentally undercharge a blink because the game might think you're trying to go to basement instead. Imo it should only ever take you to basement if you are looking at the ground which is why I think the second one might be a bug because undercharging doesn't always take you to basement.

Definitely would have to be Pokemon Colosseum's soundtrack. I absolutley love the nostalgia trip it gives me.

Man it's been quite a while since I've seen someone call Doc op.
-
You know what that reminds me of?

For the most part, that's not true. Blinks go the same distance they always go. However, on indoor maps (especially Lery's) or in maze tiles, there can be debris in the way, and Nurse blinks by rounding down to the last point where you wouldn't matterialise in an object if you are going to reappear in a solid object.
Otherwise, it's all about muscle memory.
Yes, this. The thing is though is that sometimes your blink will just get completely eaten and you won't travel any distance at all even if there is clearly room ahead of you for your model to reappear and you fully charged your blink.

I've been getting a lot of low ranks in my games as red rank killer as well. It makes me feel terrible and I've started dodging lobbies with too many default survivors in them.

@MadLordJack said:
The negative effect should be removed. Maybe it should also be changed to 2 protection hits, but make it give the endurance effect for a minute after taking the second hit instead of somewhere down the line taking 3 hits to down someone.
I like this idea. Question is would the perk only be one time use or multiple uses?
-
Works for me.
-
I like ttv players in my lobbies because I like going to watch the vod and seeing myself after the match in a different perspective and seeing their reactions to how I played. Not that I treat them any different from other players. Sometimes they will say some "toxic" things about me but usually it's just those heat of the moment things and I understand that so I'll drop a gg in their chat and they'll give me a gg back and we'll talk about the match a bit and sometimes I'll drop a follow if I like their vibe. Idk about other people but I usually have enjoyable experiences with them :p

Good flick Billy's get all the respect from me. They're a dying breed but man they really have some talent. Also my fellow Nurse mains of course.
-
Yea I agree on some maps it makes it nearly impossible to see what's going on. Also your name really is something LOL.

You missed one thing about Spirit mains: a simp. I can confirm that.
I was also debating on whether or not to call them weebs but ultimately decided not to.

BWAHAHA you're [BAD WORD] spot on right there
Can I just say that I absolutely love your name?

Wait really? The whole reason i bought pig leather was cause the drill did that.

It's overwatch rn.
-
Currently working on a console Nurse guide. Stay tuned.
-
Stridor. Not even on spirit but on Nurse lol.
-
Lol it's funny cause when i play killer i can literally hit find game, immediately go take a quick piss, come back, and I'm already loading into a match.
-
Oh god it took me a second to realize what that was.
-
Nice little collection you have there. I miss my gamecube.
-
I've been playing overwatch alot more than Dbd lately personally. But I've also been playing Doom eternal. Damn good game. Deserved goty tbh.
-
Ormond. It looks good, I love the snow theme, and most importantly it's not so dark that I can't see 2 ######### inches in front of me.
-
You can be working on a gen fit as a fiddle. Completely healthy. Then the killer comes and pulls you off. He then drops you on the floor and you now have 4 minutes to live.
-
Who do you like playing?
For more basic killers you mostly want to learn how to run tiles and loops. You want to learn which chases to take and which ones not to. You want to learn when to drop a chase if you have to. You want to learn how and when to mindgame, hide your red stain and moonwalk. And you want to learn how to apply and keep pressure on the survivors. Pretty much all of this comes with experience, but you can check out some good killer streamers to figure oit how to dp these things and perfect them as you play.
I can give a few general tips though.
At the start of the match your main objective is to get survivors off gens. They all just spawned in and they all have zero pressure on them so they're all going to be on gens. This means you should not commit too hard to your first chase. If you think you can down them quickly then do it. If you can only get a quick hit in then do it but make sure you're getting the rest of the survivors off the gens otherwise you'll lose 3 by the time you get your first hook.
Get a snowball started. Once you get your first hook you can get some nice pressure going. There should be very little time between each hook. As I said before learn how to shorten chases as much as possible cause it's very important. Every second a survivor isn't on the hook is bad for you. If you're hurting on time and need more pressure then make a slug or two.
Try to be unpredictable. Experienced survivors will often try to read your moves based on how you play. Mix up your strategy a bit here and there to keep them guessing. This means things like respect the first pallet but not the second, mindgame this loop but not that one, etc.
Perfect your gameplay. Keep playing. Put the hours in. No better way to improve your gameplay than building up raw mechanical skill and game sense through just playing the game. This is what everything pretty much boils down to anyways so yep.
Good luck! And happy killing :)

What were you doing that you had to slug the David instead of picking him up?
Stopping a gen from being completed. He crawled under a pallet and when I went to pick him up that's what happened. I was not expecting it at all so yeah good play on that dude I guess but yea it wasn't nerfed it's just bugged and it has to be an inconsistent bug at that since it doesn't happen all the time ie my case.
-
@Todgeweiht said:
Extremely situational, especially after the nerf now that you cant trigger it with flip flop.
You sure about that? Just yesterday I was playing billy and had a David running the combo. I picked him up under a pallet and he was able to get the stun on me just fine.
-
Pig. She's got decent stealth and built in slowdown. The dash can help in a few loops as well. If used correctly her kit is really good. Imo she's a mid-high-ish tier killer as opposed to most thinking shes low-mid tier.
-
I like new Ormond. I think it looks great. New autohaven would be fine if they brightened them up and got rid of the unnecessary breakable walls.
-
Cause they can. Killer queue times are pretty much non existent. I personally don't dodge lobbies though cause I don't mind the challenge.
-
Personally I think you should have to hook each survivor once to be able to start using it. That's the best fix imo. It doesn't kill the offering and it discourages tunneling. Honestly though I wouldn't care if they just deleted them completely. I don't use them anyways.

When I play Nurse I'll usually try to slug all 4 survivors at 5 gens.
Ha I'm guilty of this too. Sometimes the survivors are all grouped up at the beginning so I just figure I might as well just try to finish the match then and there with infectious.

193 white nit combs on my Nurse
-
Leatherface. It's brutal and then at the end he has a little celebration.
-
Most of the skins are worth it. Some of the "legendary" skins are a joke but aside from that if you're gonna be spending time playing the game then there's nothing wrong with dropping some cash for skins that you like and get to keep forever after you buy them. In total for skins I'm estimating that I've spent maybe about a little over $100 on skins alone. Nothing wrong with it since Dbd is my most played game. Or maybe there is. Mayyybe I'm just terrible with money. Idk. No regrets though.
-
I've had it on since it was added and I don't see any reason to change that.

So, what you're suggesting is that at least one gen has to be done in order for hatch to be visible so, in the scenario where there's one person alive and five gens up, that person should have to sneak around and do one gen before jumping in the hatch?
If so, I don't think that's totally unreasonable, though I also don't have a problem with the way it is now.
I mean yea. That's one idea although I wouldn't be opposed to something a little more creative either. Something that would leave out the option for the survivor to hide. Due to current circumstances and game design though maybe now might not be the best time.
