That extra speed will be great when trying to skirt around a killer checking your area without leaving scratchmarks. I intend to use both this AND inner strength.
-
Im just gonna sit over here using a nice assortment of perks for BOTH sides and get excited about possible uses of the new perks.

So there are only 526 people currently playing the game?
He listed the amount of ppl waiting in lobbys atm, not the number of ppl playing. This doesnt take into account the people who are already in a game, and probably is only keeping track of a single platform.
-
What if we keep the theme of the perk. After being immobile for 2 seconds, your TR and red stain disappear for 15 seconds with a 1 minute cooldown. This would allow you to approach a gen you suspect is being worked on without a TR after a brief pause.

It was a leather face but he hit me with his base attack
Sounds like a bug then. Was thinking maybe it was a leatherface who managed to hit you twice with the chainsaw swings, but you said base attack.

If you are playing on a rank where you face good loopers, I suggest to take Bamboozle.
Freddys power naturally lets him shut down loops, unless your using addons for pallets instead of snares.

The killer was standing right by the hook and I got the notif that borrowed time was active on the side of the screen, not sure why it would have happened
What killer was it?
-
The important thing to note with BT is it only works if you get unhooked within the killer's TR. Had a teammate the other day THINK he was giving someone BT against a Myers that was nearby, but the Myers had such a small TR...that it didnt work.
To answer your question though, BT should protect you from ANY hit during the time its active, including chainsaw hits and other 1 shots.

Just makes it easier to down them, get atleast 2-3 stacks back when people try to pick them back up then you can hook and kamp the noob who thought they were smarter than you then you can easily get your 8 stacks kill your obsession and have the 8 for the rest of the game
I typically dont think too hard about who I'm hitting. If the obsession wants to get in my way, I have no problem getting free hits.

Incorrect.
Lullaby is fixed at 32m, making any TR adjusting perks near useless on Freddy because survivors are never awake for long.
im just picturing someone basement camping with insidious and wondering why its not working.

The recent rework changed that.
Survivors in the Dream World hear the lullaby instead of the heart beat from the Terror Radius. So the lullaby is no longer fixed, like Huntress' is.
The Lullaby IS still fixed at 32 meters. Ive tested this since the rework. Even if your TR becomes 0, the survivors can still hear your Lullaby at 32 meters.

Enduring (+ spirit fury), sloppy, monitor and abuse (underrated af for some reason)... I would go even so far to say brutal strength (and the benefit from that isn't even that big)
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/649122#Comment_649122
Monitor is borderline useless on Freddy since your Lullaby range is fixed at 32 meters while the survivors are asleep, no matter what perks you use.

i use moris cause i like the animation. and i also like when the animation bugs out and im killing them through a wall or im killing someone whos 3 feet to the left of me.
Thats just the killer getting in some practice swings at the ground next to you, before doing the same to you.

Gotta be careful.
If the Devs messed it up, people would replace killer skins with bright neon pink so they could see them anywhere, and change invisible Killers to glow green.
The Blendette in the bush would be blinking neon colors, lol.

Hmmm, adding in Base game modifiers for high ranks wouldn't be a bad idea and actually make the game feel new and fresh when someone transitions from mid to high.
But if you make Survivors Oblivious when working on Gens then Ghostface and Pig barely have any use for their stealth mechanics, well mostly Pig since Ghost uses it for Instadowns.
Do you think Oblivious status effect will work for Huntress and Freddy's Lullabies too?
-
I could see this being a killer perk later down the line.
-
It varies from person to person. If someone gets unhooked right infront of me, I'll always try to slug them to help slow the game down while I chase after their unhooker. In some games though, I'll purposefully keep from hooking ppl 3 times just so everyone can get a good amount of BPs. During the anniversary event with the special cake offers, I had a game with 4 cakes. The survivors in that game spent SO much time slugged, I had to take it upon myself to pick them up so they wouldnt bleed out, lol. In that particular game, the 3 survivors who lived were very thankful (accidentally killed 1 guy who was PISSED).

Not sure why your being so defensive. It Doesn't sound idiotic.
I would say removing a player from the match early is stronger and less fun for that person than someone healing though.
The OP was referring to yellow moris and Shrouds though, which neither removes a survivor from the match any sooner than they wouldve been removed WITHOUT the offering.

We will see..the lunge while it could be effecting seems very....basic..thsts my first impressions
The lunge actually looks quite promising at being able to hit survivors who would otherwise make 1 more loop around a pallet or make it to a window. The fact you don't get slowed by it is what sets it apart from Pig's ambush. It may be simple, but that doesn't mean it can't be an effective tool for a chase.

2 auto-heal perks, 1 of which completely trumps the killer in combination with ds. Yeah, balanced.
Wouldn't pulling someone out of a locker be the better choice even BEFORE this perk came out? Better to kill the DS than to let them walk WITH the DS.

He never complained about Claudette's race, but rather, her clothing.
He claimed the people playing her were "unintentionally racist".
-
Im not too worried about which side gets more perks honestly. Perks just add variety to the game, they arnt an arms race.
-
You are not allowed to hit a survivor after they get unhooked for ANY REASON. Remember this rule if the freshly unhooked survivor chooses to cleanse your totem and maybe plan which hook you put them on abit better.

I love most of the killer cast..but..I hate seeing killers I must pay for all end up mediocre and easily beaten..feels like I'm getting scammed
I do fairly well with them. None of their powers seem SUPER overwhelming, but I just see that as being fair. Keep ranking up too quick each month by playing Myers, so I decided to put him down and play some Piggy instead this time. Even just using Brown addons, Ive been getting 4ks just fine.

Leather face , weak, freddy..for almost two years worst killer , pig..standard killer..easily looped, Myers, literally just an m1 killer, ghost face..technically only half licensed but buggy so its unknown just how good or bad he is..theres a pattern here
I actually find these killers to be pretty fun to play.

Could be something like, gens periodically fizzle and dont gain progress for a few seconds while in TR? Idunno.
What about an effect that would make gens not being worked on begin to regress when a survivor gets hooked?

EXACTLY!!! When you have a team of pro MLG survivors like this lot who play PERFECTLY and they STILL get mowed down, what can we possibly do?

Stranger things gets to be horror, just like Goosebumps gets to be horror.

Lol you’d need 100 survivors just to have a chance against one killer.
Im just imagining never being able to walk near a locker without getting stunned by headon, but also being able to spam Bubbas chainsaw and always hitting at least 3 survivors per swing.

Yeah, but the new survivor perks are broken as hell. Can’t believe you can stun the killer for 10 minutes with that Steve perk.
That perk is perfectly fine and balanced. You can ONLY use it one time after all...(per survivor)
-
The amount of time you need to spend stalking, which requires multiple survivors since youll quickly cap out one survivors stalk before getting anywhere close to hitting T3 makes this addon FAR from OP. Often times, I find I get more time in T3 when using addons that lower the amount of stalk required than by using addons which increase the time spent in T3 at the expense of more stalking. With this UR addon, youll spend practically all game without being able to pop T3 until the end of the trial.
-
5 minute queue times dont really both me since I usually just have either the forums or a youtube video or something on my 2nd screen.

I can confirm everybody who plays survivor is just as good as noob3. Killers need big buff's.
I would start with Myers maybe start the trial in t3? Fragrent tuft as base?.....
Thats a good start, but we should give him T1's terror radius...and make him move at 130% speed.

That moment when your on a hook to find all 3 teammates searching the whole map for ruin, passing up EVERY dull totem and then complaing about NOED.

If i see a new player i usually tunnel them to get them out of the game fast so they can spectate the more seasoned survivor players play and maybe learn something.

Yes, I do know I got some ways to go on the chasing. But it still doesn't address the perk system or how some killers feel vastly underpowered compared to the survivors.
I am truly trying to give the game as good a chance as I can, but it is slowly but surely losing me.

They’re supposedly making the grind a lot easier but I’ll believe it when I see it.
I agree, this game is not very noob friendly at all. It’s a simple enough concept to be sure, but the grind just is too steep and a little unfair.
I wish killers weren’t so add on dependent either. You feel pressured to not waste those expensive add ons.
Been screwing around with Piggy lately using only brown addons, and been doin alright. Before then It was Shape using addons Green and under (I use scratched mirror for a fun game whenever i can find the right map offering). I DID hit rank 1 as Freddy before he got his rework before I ever even unlocked ruin, but I DID feel addon reliant on THAT one.

Tried The Doctor, he just seems sub-optimal to The Huntress and The Hag. But he was certainly fun, till again, you start meeting the people with hundreds of hours on the game and completely ruin the experiencing for you.
Doc is good for helping out with Tracking if nothing else, since its fairly easy to find ppl. You still have to learn how to run different loops and how to mindgame abit. When I first started, I just followed the same exact path as the survivor, vaulting what they vault and breaking EVERY pallet. Looking back now...its kinda cringeworthy. These are things you can improve at though that doesnt need a particular perk.

Rank 11 - The Pig, The Doctor, GhostFace, The Plague.
But the issue here is not so much noob friendly. The game has what appears to be glaring issues that most of the community here just seems to live with. This game is in NO WAY gonna appeal to the mass of people coming with how it is right now. Nobody should have to grind for what feels like will be weeks just to have fun finally.
I mean, I had fun from rank 20 till about rank 14 when the game just got an insane difficulty spike, everyone started to loop you around for days and generators are always done within 5 minues. Mostly if not it is because they are toying with you.
I wasnt talking about grinding, its just often times a simple loadout on an easy to understand killer can go pretty far. I use to play aton of Doc when I was new and did fairly well with him, before ever lvling up other killers to get THEIR perks.

To be completely honest, i think Nancy shouldn't be there.
All survivor in the entity realm are proven to be extremely altruistic and to care about others. This is true for all survivors but the first 4 , nea, ace, and feng (especially since we don't know a lot about them).
I think there is no need to do a list with every reason.
Well, in my opinion, Steve follow this rule since the "First fight" with the demogorgon.
Nancy doesnt. I see her character as a really selfish one. Maybe is just me, but i dont she "deserve" the acces to the entity's realm.
I havent seen the last season yet tho, i may change idea.
Your requirements for a survivor isnt quite true... Jane and Jeff for example have done nothing to show they are altruistic OR athletic.
-
Whats your rank and what DLCs do you have? I might be able to help ya put something together thats newbie friendly.
