Clown is carrying bottles. And actually he carries all of them with him, while Huntress carry some hatchets and she refills them in lockers.
Bottles filled with gas

Saw a clip recently with 3 survivors pretty much trading out on a hook right in front of the exit gates. Eventually, they ALL had an active DS. Gate was open, so slugging wasn't really an option. The killer tried slugging one guy and picking him right before he got out... But got DSed.

Yes he is fat, but when he sees them toes he gets an adrenaline boost...
His ability is to slow down survivors so why would he be slower than the average killer? Like seriously he would just be trash if he was slower. THE WHOLE POINT IS TO SLOW THEM. If he was slower himself, then he would basically have no ability...
In all fairness, Huntress is carrying a battle axe and multiple hatchets around, while Clown has it easy with a knife.

I wouldn't mind my totem being in the middle of crotus prenn... As long as myself and the survivors are on a different map.

Endgame Collapse does those.
Closing the hatch does none of the above. Killer giving the ability to close the hatch just makes the game unnecessarily harder for survivors. It's okay actually in concept because without the closing mechanic survivors would easily escape.
But not with current gate placement.
EGC starts when hatch gets closed though

Never understood why dead hard is used a lot. Its very easy to bait out and I never see it actually working out in high ranks but people still use it.
Its not reliant on specific conditions, and players at high end can use it to give themselves enough distance to get to a window or pallet, when they normally wouldve been hit just short of it. Cant "bait" it if its only being used for distance rather than to avoid a swing. Lithe and balanced landing are often map specific. Many maps have few places to activate balanced landing, and Lithe can go off pretty early if your making use of a jungle gym.

Insidious would be the forth perk.
Youd be surprised how far territorial imperative can carry you as a Bubba. You always have someone who wants that chest...followed by people trying to fetch the first.

He is talking about base bubba whose anti loop isn’t very good, with add ons it can work pretty well at certain loops. I mostly play base bubba and he can’t counter loops easily without add ons, of course, it is my choice to play without them though.
Thats gotta be painful... Id much rather play base Clown than base Bubba.

The mori thing would be cool, but that's really the only place I'm seeing this being a good idea.

Actually I would beg to differ since Lithe would do that better in my experience. Plus the opportunities using it are quite rare since you also have to run Quick and Quiet to really avoid having it back fire.
As far as the amount of distance gained, head on gives far more. The differences here is the application. Out of the exhaustion perks, head on is the most limited on when you can pull it off in exchange for that raw distance advantage. Compare this to Dead hard, which is popular due to how easy it is to activate, yet providing the LEAST distance out of exhaustion perks.

well its only 3 seconds. A 5 second stun does seem OP I just want the cooldown and if it depletes slower or not at all during a chase that seems reasonable it just shouldn't steal the spot of an exhaustion perk.
Even at 3 seconds, it STILL grants more distance than any other exhaustion perk.
-
The thing to remember is that this perk, just like other exhaustion perks, gives you distance. Instead of starting a chase with a SB, you get a 5 second headstart during which time the killer isn't even allowed to look at which way you went. It may not be a burst of speed like the others, but it fills the same role, to grant distance.

@NMCKE most people didn’t play Freddy right, me, @PhantomMask20763, @DocOctober, @DudeDelicious and @LordGlint all mained (some of the mentioned still main Freddy) old Freddy, I even mained him in high ranks and if you knew how to play him then you could destroy, although he was very boring to play against.
Was always fun to stomp teams at rank 1 as "the worst killer". Now, I just feel like I'm cheating by using him.

They're saying it doesn't make since for a healthy survivor to be pulled from a locker, be able to wiggle of a shoulder and be considered injured.

Missing an attack is already wasting your time due to the animation. This change isn't really needed.

This is usually how I play. I try to make sure the final survivor is one I don't mind escaping (in other words, not someone who was rude all game or sandbagged/farmed their teammates) because there's a good chance they'll get the hatch. I often max out Deviousness so I don't need the extra BP, and I don't care about pipping.
The only time I slug for the 4k is if I'm going for an adept achievement.
If a killer cares about pipping, then yeah, I understand why they go for the 4k. In that case, they just have to accept: you can play for fun, or you can play to pip. It's a choice.
If one of the last 2 survivors did something like try to sell out their teammate... That ones dying for sure. Ill gladly give the hatch to the OTHER teammate.

Slugging the 3th to kill the 4th gives to the killer 500+200 points for hooking and sacrifice events (+500 if EGC started), 300+300 for 2 hits (you get deviousness points too if you use your power), 2500 deviousness points for the 4k and hundreds of hunter points. Imagine every number I said multiplied by 2 due to BBQ. Sorry if you see me as the killer sweating my ass for a 4k, but I want my points. If I have max points in deviousness i never look for the 4 kills, though.
The amount of extra time typically wasted to get the 4k by slugging just isnt worth it to me anymore. I typically max out on deviousness points rather quickly. I USE to slug for the 4k before they introduce hatch closing, but now... I just wanna move on to the next game and the hatch closing mechanic still gives me a very good chance of getting that last kill anyway. The only time I'll slug now days is if I can IMMEDIATELY chase the 4th guy.

The jewelry addons only buff his movement speed when hes holding the stalk button and no one is infront of him... which is pointless. Other than that, I like his other addons. The green glass shard addon is actually one of my favorites.

So if it activated on you, it was by your own decision to stay that close to the hook instead of pressuring gens.
Eeeeeh, that part is not really correct. Survivors can very much force BT to activate. Like save instantly before the killer had a chance to walk more than 2m. Or baiting the killer back to the hook by leaving a scratch mark trail for them to follow.
Typically if theyre unhooking THAT quickly, theyre asking for a quick grab. I cant tell you how many times Ive grabbed survivors who think theyre being sneaky by unhooking as soon as the hook animation finishes. By keeping awareness of your immediate surroundings, this wont happen.
As far as what you said with the scratch marks...hit the guy leaving the scratch marks, lol. By all means, hit the freshly unhooked guy if its easy, you can waste his time by making him mend. Ultimately though, your sights should be set on the guy who was leaving the scratches though. BT or not, picking up ppl who were just off the hook is ASKING to eat a DS.

I think that whole idea of punishing M1 killers was just a bad design from the start. I was thinking about how could this perk be changed without making it way too broken, while being useful at the same time and I've come up with a possible solution.
Instead of protecting you while you're injured, it should protect you from anything that would put you into dying state from healthy.
- Evil has a way of always finding you.
- After you stun the killer 3 times, Mettle of Man activates.
- Once activated, the next occasion that would put you into the dying state from the healthy state, will put you into injured state instead. The next time you heal back to full health, your Aura will be revealed to the Killer when you are farther than 12/14/16 metres from the Killer.
- Mettle of Man will deactivate the next time you are put into the Dying State.
- Increases your chances of being the Obsession.
This could make MOM a viable pick once again without making it super frustrating for Killers, especially those, that can only use Basic attack to down survivors. Let me know what you think of this rework suggestion.
Honestly, I actually really like this idea. Typically MoM ideas are either way too OP, with trying to pretty much bring back old MoM, or completely pointless. This I think fits a nice middle ground. The only thing that youd really have to adjust IMO is the aura reading ranges. Typically perks that make survivors the obsession has varying effects based off if the survivor is the obsession or not, which I think can be the case with different aura ranges.
-
I actually love running whispers whenever I have room for it. Its a stable perk on my Huntress so I dont waste too much time searching around with her slow speed in areas that are free of survivors. As far as countering it goes, you can still play stealthy and move around when a killer is looking under every rock around to find you. Eventually, even if the killer is SURE that your around... they cant waste too much time on you. As far as your endgame scenario goes, some perks shine really bright for their given side come endgame. If a survivor has deliverance and DS at endgame for example... Theyre practically already out the gate, lol.
If your looking for perks to help counter, you could always try for some pebble plays. This would cause the killer to look in an area within whispers range away from you. If you want perks to assist in a endgame scenerio, maybe wake up to allow for faster gate opening. You can simply wait by a far gate if you suspect the killer will get to the hatch first and the extra gate opening speed might help you get it open in time.
You can also use the new left behind perk to help you find the hatch before the killer. A map can help you find it faster or a key can help you open it even if the killer closes it. Ive had survivors escape right under my nose using a key while I felt SO sure I had them with whispers.

@Pigster said:
Dont tunnel if you dont want to be affected by borrowed time or just wait 15 seconds during a chase with the previous hooked one before hitting. Borrowed time is fair.
Meh, even if you get around BT... your asking to eat a DS if you pick the guy up. I find it best to either leave the guy to mend or slugged if you can chase after the unhooker after getting a hit in.

@UkilledLegion said:
@LordGlint ok but u remember why for example Legion was nerfed because devs said "more players complain that legion always abuse frenzy and it made him unbearable" but why survivors can abuse perks and killers no...for example myers can not abuse play with food because they complain to this perk that killer abuse it and go fast nerf it...
You can do wonders with play with your food if you know what your doing.
Have an example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEHfFn1XIh0Making use of BT isnt really ABUSING it, but rather just giving a survivor a chance to get to a safer location that they otherwise might not have the time to get to. BT more or less buys the unhooked survivor 15 seconds of time.
As far as your comment on Legion, Legion was changed due to the fact that his power took any sort of counterplay in chases completely off the table. Chases against old legion were more or less just a matter of time on when the survivor he was chasing would drop. While his killrate wasnt high, the fact that as a survivor, you pretty much were never going to actually win a chase made him pretty dull to go again.
-
Kinda gotta agree with this. Maybe not with your proposed idea, but rather that it DOES need some love. The only reason its even good on Huntress is to take advantage of reloading faster. Its effect on survivors is pretty pointless.
-
@UkilledLegion said:
@LordGlint I idint tell that is bad perk I only said that need this perk will make limited because surviviors abuse it
If you go into every match always assuming survivors have it...it'll never surprise you. Between BT and DS, always assume a survivor who was freshly unhooked has it. Like I said, I think BT is in a good spot. I play killer like 95% of the time, and it really never bothers me.
-
Gonna have to agree with pretty much everything ppl are saying here. If your close enough to the hook that your terror radius is heard by the hooked survivor, just assume that survivor has BT when they get unhooked. Try to go after the unhooker rather than the person who just got off the hook. If you can get a quick hit in on the guy off the hook, sure...go for it. Worst case scenerio, BT procs and that guy now has to waste time mending. Best case scenerio, that guy gets dropped and you LEAVE THEM SLUGGED before going after the unhooker. Picking them up is asking for a DS.
Camping hooks if you dont know for sure someone is going for the save and tunneling the guy who just got unhooked is a bad way of creating any pressure. You'll likely just see these 2nd chance perks activating over and over while allowing the gens that your not paying attention to to pop. If you can keep doing damage by slugging ppl who PROBABLY have active DS and hooking the rescuer, you end up slowing the gens down.
In short...borrowed time is fine.
-
It puts a marker on the ground that's adjusted by how much you charge it and where your aiming. Someone using it has complete control over every blink.

Not really. By the time you get the first one, you should be proficient with the blinks where you don't need it.
If it was a brown add-on, you'd have ppl hitting pin point accurate blinks on their first time with nurse. Having a crosshair on your screen just offer a minor aid, while you still have to know travel speed of the hatchet, curve and have the wisdom of knowing when it's appropriate to even take out the hatchet.

The benefit I'm seeing from a battle pass, free OR paid, is it's likely to encourage me to play in a way I usually don't. I've actually NEVER played hag, although I DID lvl her up to 40. If one of the battle pass lvls requires me to play her to progress though... I just might, and ya never know...I might like her. I probably won't get the paid battle pass, since I already don't buy cosmetics that require auric cells, but I don't mind having a system challenge me to different tasks and granting me rewards for it.

The very minor Nerf to the lunge cooldown was just to fix the fact that rapid lunging allowed for faster movement than simply running... This isn't going to make any noticeable difference.

Because imagine a world where you pay $5-$10 dollars for a cosmetic in a video game, and you only get access to it for 2-3 months.

If you’ve want hard mode, run no perks, or let yourself be downed after the first hit... this perk doesn’t even hard mode well either!
Actually, many killers have "hardmode" addons, in the form of speed limiter or similar.
