It kind of has the trade off that it doesn't play well with other hex totems.
except for retribution

How is it anyone's fault if i watched things on it today? They had that whole time to make him some what balanced and didn't
they have never in the history of this game made any significant changes from the ptb to live any larger changes are made in the balance hotfix 2 weeks after release
this is how its always been

If you don't understand the anger some players feel with this chapter then thats on you, some people don't want to spoil the fresh new chapter.
I don't watch those i watch things when they have released.
the its your own fault not behaviour

scamming people for money is also illegal
did you not watch the ptb streams and the 100s of YouTube vids released?
he is barely different than what he was on ptb they actually fixed a lot of his issues, the only real negative I can see is the removal of his lines but beside that just like they did with nemesis this patch they will buff him as is necessary in the coming hotfixes and patches.
-
most people will just use the survivor with the best fixed perk like Laurie with ds
-
considering how it runs better on my ps4 after the patch I'm guessing its a bug
-
then what would you call it? left for dead? that would still imply the same thing.
-
Nancy's are sociopaths
-
I have not seen the twins since January so that probably wont change when the mmr activates
-
for me it depends on the killer what slow down perks I use but it really depends on what playstyle I'm rocking at the time but these are my current defaults.
high mobility, fast less than 20 second down speed killers like blight and nurse
ruin + thrilling
high mobility, quick 20 to 30 second down speed killers like billy and spirit
ruin + corrupt
high mobility average 30 second down speed killers like wraith and legion
ruin + undying
decent pressure killers like Freddy, nemesis and pyramid head
pop + Thanataphobia
defensive killers like trapper and hag
pop + corrupt
snowball killers like oni, huntress and twins
pop + thrilling
fast down but low pressure killers like Deathslinger and trickster
pop + oppression
anti healing killers like plague
Thanataphobia + surge
resource eating killers like demo and bubba
Thanataphobia + eruption
stealth killers like Myers and ghost face
Thanataphobia + oppression
game delay killers like pig and doctor (usually I use the tiny 10m terror radius doc build)
overcharge + dragons grip + oppression
the idea is when they touch a gen I kicked they get exposed and I don't know if the scream makes them let go of the gen but if not 9 times out of 10 they do and immediately fail overcharge regressing it buy an extra 5% and because of oppression survivors who were busy removing traps or trying not to get static blasted often don't know which gen I kicked and hesitate to touch it usually opting to go to another gen

*cry's manly tears into one of several samey colour leather jackets*
-
what is your controller sensitivity set too?
if its below 100 my advice is to slowly increase you're sensitivity as you play
start from where you are comfortable and increase it by 5% (which is the only increment you can increase/decrease sensitivity on console) and play until you are used to it and repeat until you are at 100% then its just a case of practice and learning the muscle memory needed for those killers
-
blight, oni, hillbilly, shape, Deathslinger, cenobite
demo, executioner, nemesis (basically the same main power but with 3 different flavoured sauces)

I'll have to give this a try, thanks for some actual advice!
it depends on if the survivor is going to loop or just abandon it but most survivors will loop it once so you may have to do this a multiple loops
also it works best on smaller loops like the box loops or any of the rock loops
-
here is my idea
scourge hook: monstrous shrine
Your fervent care of the Hooks found in the Basement has aroused The Entity's interest.
the basement hooks become scourge hooks and have there aura revealed to you in white (you know where the basement is at all times which is a good effect by itself)
when a survivor is hooked on one of these hooks all generators will begin to regress automatically until no survivor is hooked on one of these hooks
when the survivor is rescued from the scourge hook all survivors who were not in the basement have there auras revealed 4/6/8 seconds
the idea is that it rewards the killer for not camping the basement but dose not benefit a camping killer as survivors will (hopefully) just do gens as usual
-
get to the pallet side of a loop throw a yellow bottle at your feet then throw a purple at the survivor and just push them around the loop.
-
ah.
the reverse stretch rez for chads.
-
every survivor would use ds every match
-
in my experience it just makes the fog black
-
they have multiple teams who work on new content and reworking old content
-
funny enough hillbilly's original name was the crooked when in development
-
its a bug I got it for multiple killers

The whole point of the combo is that it already takes 10s to do the box. On top of that with add-ons I think it can take up to 20-25s. It would also make everyone get hit by chains and basically secure a down on people.
That's why it's a good combo, and I'd run thanat just because of the hit and run you'd be doing.
and don't forget survivors holding the box are oblivious so pinhead can get them very easily
all they need to do now is fix it so survivors cant hold the box hostage like victor and we will have another high tier killer
-
if the trend stays the same unless they delayed it but seeing as its most likely just a killer and there are no major issues at the moment I doubt it
-
there seems to be issues now with movement on controllers at least on ps4

are you sure it's not the controller it's self?... I know that DBD can be demanding sometimes or instill rage.
I used multiple controllers they all have the same issue one of them was brand new
and I have no movement issues with any other games.
-
honestly I would rework them
here are my ideas
franks mix tape
Never go on a kill mission without your tunes. A track list of massive distortions and loud percussion that stabs at your eardrums.
during feral frenzy each time you apply the deep wounds status effect gain 5% faster movement speed to a max of 20%
this would make applying deep wound to multiple survivors across the map much easier covering their weakness of spreading out.
stab wounds study
A printed medical article stolen from Ormond's public library, vulgarising a study on lesions and stab wounds.
the deep wounds timer deteriorates at 50% while mending.
moderately increase the sound of mending.
this would force survivors to run to a safe location to mend instead of near you waiting more time and allowing you to find survivors your previously stabbed.

@GrimoireWeiss said:
I think it's just the lower framerate that makes you feel slower, I don't really notice a difference while playing.
its not the frame rate. my survivors literally stop running and stand still for a split second meaning I have to regain 100$ movement speed which takes a second which in a chase is not good.
-
I have tried with multiple controllers and can confirm that they are both affected, one was worse than the other where if I tried to change directions while running even if it was a minor 15% to the left or right my character will lose all momentum and stop while the other just has this weird feel to it.
they must have broke something during the hotfix.
-
i thought it was just my controller

Love them!
Kind of wish the devs mad a killer perk that would make those kind of skill checks appear on gens for afflicted survivors.
maybe they could rework overcharge to be like the yellow glyphs
-
that's why I use resilience, botany knowledge and desperate measures with self care. basically gives me a permanent med-kit, my only weakness is plague
-
resilience, desperate measures, botany knowledge and selfcare I call it the duck tape build because it fixes everything with resilience's 9% + desperate measure's 14% per injured survivor + botany knowledge's 33% it = 56% to 98% faster healing meaning that if I am the only injured survivor I can selfcare with a 6% faster heal than a addonless common med kit for the whole match and if everyone is injured I can self heal at 48% faster speed not even an anti heal build can slow me down.
legions hate me.
its only weakness is plagues which basically makes me perk less but barely anyone plays her.
-
because they have a large update planed that will incorporate mori's into the base game and keys will be a part of it
-
i used the duration addons and they helped
-
I would make it that the redeemer has bullet spread the moment you ADS for 1.5 seconds meaning that it has 50% accuracy that increases to 100% over the course of that 1.5 seconds so if the Deathslinger shoots to fast there is a chance that even if the survivor is centre screen it might miss punishing Deathsligers for quick firing and giving survivors a chance to react.
of course this wont affect the Deathslinger if he is in close proximity to to the survivor but it will affect long range quick scopes.

I really hope they implement this elsewhere. THIS is a skillcheck. Pressing spacebar a single time on the worlds biggest margin is not very skillful, it just adds a small layer of entertainment to holding m1.
maybe they could add them to generators but have a different warning sound than the normal skill checks along with reverse skill checks that would make gens more engaging
-

I agree. Especially if it were either a series of Unnerving skill checks or Overcharge style skill checks.
that would probably be a bit too hard for new players
-
addon rework first then see how he preforms after
-
out of curiosity. do they respawn after you fail them?
-
do you use different platforms?
any time i open the forums on my phone it logs me out on my pc and vies versa

I did one of these in a match against the Doctor. The skill checks moved around the screen.
I managed to do it, but goddamn I felt like I had a heart attack in the process.
I was expecting it to be like BnP with just two separate skill checks in a row
I was wrong

Red - Nothing
Blue - Hmm add obvious
Yellow - Skill checks
They're learning and improving all the time. By the time we reach purple you'll be having to do push ups and stick the kettle on.
green glyphs: only appear if you are infected by plague or nemesis
-
yes you did

well looking at it in game I'm guessing they based it of a field with high chalk or limestone levels in the soil most plants cannot grow or produce a large yields on such land except for beet's, cabbages and of course corn.
seeing as Coldwind is in Texas I'm guessing that it is probably around Austin's border which has a very high chalk soil level
and I doubt the hillbilly tends to his fields and waters them regularly so they are very dead and because corn tends to dry out the soil when left too long without water the fields are going to be very bright and dry as a result.
though interesting fact depending on what stage the kernels are in they can last a long time at 15% moisture content which most farmers will do before harvest.

the only thing I think the tutorial was missing was a totem explanation

Good day to all and hope you are all doing okay during this tough time
I am very well aware of the current situation and stance on cross progression but I just wanted to throw a +1 on how important and incredible it would be to me having cross progression on all platforms.
I am a very recent dad to twins which means my PC days are very sadly over and ended up selling both my computer and laptop for various reasons. I instead bought an xbox series x and wow I am inlove. Just always preferred the controller. Easy access big screen experience. Very happy with my change returning to console
Dead by daylight means the world to me. Have over 1000 hours on steam. This is where the issue lies. Whilst I love my console experience. Starting anew from 1k hours sadly sucks....
Having cross progression between xbox and PC would mean everything to me and I really really REALLY hope this becomes a possibility very soon. This or Just a simple transfer feature.
unfortunately its not up the developers its up to Microsoft who own Xbox and both Microsoft and Sony have denied the right to cross play
