Hag 0 skill involved? WHAT?!
Huntress 0 skill involved if you have above average aim... You contradict yourself there.
You:
"Killers require lower amount of skill to play"
Also you:
"Add to this the fact that tunneling and camping the hook is the most efficient strategy atm and that a killer can 180° swing its hits, hitting you even though he triggered its attack without aiming at you..."
Yes because doing 180 requires no skill
Also, you want to see why survivors got so many changes (slow vaults, less pallets etc.), watch this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1fkX3H84SEAnd many survivors still claimed back then that killers are easy and op.

My personal view is that each Survivor should have one of their signature Perks converted into a base power (and thus not teachable) in the same way the Killers have a unique Power. That would make the Survivors MORE than just Skins. I'm not a huge fan of ANY of the abilities, Killer or Survivor being converted to automatic, base parts of the game.
Then everyone will be running meg/bill/Laurie
There are way too many survivors, who have all terrible perks. Not to mention that many people actually like survivors being like skins

It sure isn't as straightforward as BBQ. It can sometimes be a waste of time if someone else unhooks right in front of you, lol. But at least you get to stack your unhooks up to 100%. BBQ has only 75%. I think.
BBQ has 100%
Also, in general more perks should have bp increase effect, to reduce the grind.

Yes, i can't tell how many times notification from spies from the shadows made me actually unable to see the survivor.
-
This killer would have to have a power that lets him force off screams or anything that will let him notice survivors, who are careful.
-
I want this deja vu... just imagine the highlight moment of teleporting to the locker than huntress is just going to refresh her hatchets at...

Huntress rework? What now? There is 2 minutes cooldown on her grabbing the hatchets from the locker... or all lockers now have 2 hatchets for the whole match?
-
Sometimes doors are so close that survivor is fecked, sometimes they are too far...
But the idea of starting the end game collapse would just mean, that the killer sits on the hatch and go make himself a tea, while survivor can't do anything but wait to die.

I remember clearly but don't have a link. The majority of matches the killer wins. Since those stats, survivors had some more nerfs including smaller maps, less pallets (dead zones), strong loops eradicated, insta-heals removed, and toolboxes made insignificant. If we saw stats today, I would bet those numbers are even more abysmal. Survivors are oblivious.
If you are talking about this https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/106566/
Then there is not enough information given by the devs to draw a clear conclusions (were dc included, if yes how, were moris included, etc.) Not mentioning that it had way too low timeframe of 7 days.
Not to mention that it contradicts with https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/61114/data-sheets-community-requests#latest
where just a few months earlier survivors had way over 50% escape rate.
And i don't remember any changes significant enough to change it so drastically, from 60% (when you include rank drop after the match, when you die), to 30%
It's just ludicrous and it's one of the reasons why i don't trust devs on what they are doing.

But right now, playing as clown is like wanting to lose the game and be bullied to oblivion (i'm in red rank so..)
I wouldn't mind if i lose the game. But i can't stand being bullied by survivors that i am sure i can defeat with other killers. I can't stand when i can't punish their arrogant ego.
I understand you, especially when said survivors are doing so dumb mistakes, that you really wonder how little life they have to reach the red ranks.

My random internet person, you clearly have no idea how to play Plague. Perhaps you should consider putting in a few hundred hours to learn her ins and outs instead of relying on lazy and ineffective tactics. And... Oh, wait, hugging walls is the way people normally run tiles and it actually makes them more distance die to hitbox sizes? Who would have thought? Golly gosh gee.
"Number one thing not to do..." Yeah, sure bud. You know better than me, mister Spray'N'Pray.
Well... if you hug a wall on one loop instead of running to the next one, when you can, usually make you loose distance.
And still spray and pray is just easier than pixel accurate aiming like on deathslinger, not to mention that it makes dh useless against you.
And... holding puke is bad, just like holding the hatchet on the huntress, aiming with deathslinger or holding sweep with demo.
And trust me, i know how to play her on any map except larys where roofs are so low, that your puke range is just terrible.
And maybe PH map because i don't really see this map (thank you rng for that)

Basically this.
I remembered when i just unlocked clown, and i'm just learning him for the first time. Know what survivors did? T-bag, flashlight clicking, etc.
Obviously i don't get any kill. Got called a baby killer in the end. That's why i never touch clown again.
You really should try him some more, he is very fun to play... and if you corner a dumb survivor in such a way that he gets stuck, you can throw spamming bottles at him (which is clown own t-bag)

I reached a point where I was doing pretty okay with Nurse in low ranks. No where near high tier, not even remotely but I was having fun. But the constant indoors maps with invisible areas I couldn't blink through and blinking underground on a two story map just because I was 1 degree to low to go forward instead of down is what made me stop playing her.
Ah yes... verticallity on a nurse is frustrating, especially on the temple map, where its often just a bullshit and trust me, the moment when you learn to track survivors behind a wall, based on their previous movement pattern (to even recognize, how they will try to mindgame you) you start getting unstopable... but i quess there was a long way before you, to reach this point.
If you want to train the nurse with less frustration, try her with addon that removes 1 blink but increases movement speed. It will force you to learn how to blink directly at the survivors with one blink, you will get used to blinking only once and you will be more often able to see where survivors are, after time you won't even need it.
This addon with the charge speed addon is probably the only build that i have fun with on her... i miss heavy smoker nurse so badly D:

Clown was great before his “buff”. All it did was get more players curious to try him out, and now there’s more information out there on how to use Clown’s power to control the chase, players are actually realising how good he can actually be.
The self inflicted slow down was a non issue before, and only hindered those killers that didn’t know what they’re doing with Clown.
It allowed survivors to switch the loops or drop the pallet and yeah, before the buff clown was better than people thought but this slow effect make him loose too much lethality in the chase to be called good (unless you were using pinky finger)... cooldown perks were almost a must.

@C3Tooth said:
@LastShoe actually my main build is other 3 perks minus Nurse call. But can u explain further why I should not use it on Trapper?
Recently I feel traps area really easy to escape (I dont know why, mostly 5-12sec to escape), I use it to find injured survivors and pressure on them. I also use it to injure multiple survivors to feed up STBFL then find them later with Nurse.
Nurses calling is the best if you can close the gap between the healing survivors and you quick enough to be able to use it. It works well on any ranged killers or killers with reduced tr. Using it on a killer with 32m without m&a is worthless.
To make traps better, you need to learn better placement. Like this basement trap was terrible and trap under the pallet can be hidden slightly better.
Another thing is that in this basement escape you should hit the unhooked survivor as well, and force off bt, with stbfl you could even down them.
And i don't even know what was that on 1:00, thats why you get the trap under the window slightly further and off in such a way that the survivors can't fast vault it but you still can vault from the inside. Also if injured survivor was there, it was obvious she had dead hard. Not to mention how early it was.
1:25 if you moved the trap from the basement earlier and had it in your hand you could completely block off 2 survivors in a shack.
Not to mention that going after this meg, when she entered the trap was a bad play, considering tht everyone was near the basement.
2:35 Why are you doing this, when you know they have OoO, you should completely block off the shack, so you can arrive easily to stop save rescue or you could keep it in the hand.
3:20 You could block of the shack which would quarantee you getting the meg, with a bit of luck you could slug the nea.
Dumb thing it was to pick up the nea and when chasing her you swung too early after she dropped the pallet, same with 4:32
4:42 if you were hugging the wall, and not walking so far from it would be a certain hit and mindgame was just bad there, way too early and no moonwalk to make it effective.
And many times during this game you were undecisive on what to do.
I watched up to 5:00 timemaker
It wasn't swf with comms or OoO, you were just making way too many mistakes

It highly depends on a range between survivor and the killer. When being further avoiding deathslinger power is extremally easy.

Nurse can't bait dead hard very well , more up to luck than anything..and it's not nearly as black and white as " you blink and they die,, that's just silly
You blink at their butt, you swing slightly later, so you hit them at the end of deadhard. Unless they are weak, then you swing instantly and they won't have time to react, especially with these servers.
And yes... its a slight overexaggeration... but still... if you blink well there is no counterplay.

On the subject of Nurse. I see people who play this game as an actual job like Otz and Zubat with 6000 hours who all agree that Nurse played at her highest level by a human player Is absolutely busted and gamebreaking. But there are very, very few top level nurses so its not really an issue. And with the recent change to her blinks its harder to learn her than ever.
Like Deathslinger, the reason they aren't more complained about is that very few players reach that very high skill ceiling.
Another issue with nurse and why there are not so many people playing as her is that her bugs make her so frustrating.
And deathslinger... i can only imagine what top ds players could do with small cracks in the walls that you can shoot througth... Jesus Christ it scares me.

Okay, you need to go against more good teams. Both of those tactics only work against bad survivors. Against a Plague with corrupt purge, good survivors hug the walls and you cannot hit them over, because even if to get a perfect angle they can move out of the way. It may seem like a skillful stratagey from the Plagues end... But it's not effective.
And Hit-And-Run is only good IF the survivors decide to heal. When good survivors see Sloppy on a stealth killer, they are just going to do gens and you're done for. Injured against a stealth killer? That's not as scary as people think, given that you can see all of them coming and/or they waste far too much time getting a good angle (or, more likely, trying and failing too due to no fault of the killers) and you and your team get that much more gen time. Spread out, do gens, play safe, killer is screwed. Not so effective.
Plague, Ghostface. Two of my absolute favourite killers. I know their tricks, their weaknesses, their bugs and their tactics. I know tiles, I know how to play them as those two. I know the stalking angles, the purge angles, the delightfully sneaky hits you can get, and above all else I know how to avoid them thanks to people doing it to me.
Oh, and by the way, hit and run is considered one of the easiest tactics there is, and for good reason. No mechanical skill, limited tactical skill ceiling. It's why I started playing Stalky Ghostface in the first place.
First of all hint and run is easy to learn but hard to master. You need to properly fake leaving the survivors, mix your paths, know on which tiles chase and when to force a pallet drop or even get a second hit quick enough.
But number one rule... DONT USE THE FECKING SLOPPY, ITS NOT WORTH IT! If you are using it then you are bad at hit and run and you have a long way to master it, so it will work against weak but it won't work against good teams.
When it comes to plague, if they hug the wall, then they don't gain distance, so you should get hit or a proper range to puke soon. Her problem isnt chasing but that she is typical 115% killer who slowly walk towards gens.
Ive could really say more specific info about certain wall tiles, like what to do on LT wall, what to do on LI with pallet... but im not interested in arguing with someone, who holds their puke... which is number one on what NOT to do.

After a ton of practice and with non existant matchmaking any killer can do that..but it's the good teams you should focus on
Still, you just blink and they die, the only real counter is deadhard, which works once per match as a surprise, after tht you just bait it.
-
Also its amazing that if its the last survivor, the best play is to just wait and stand still... which is just stupid.

Because carpet bombing tiles doesn't work against good survivors. It's a noobstomp technique, like Hit-And-Run stealth killers
When used correctly it does...
Also... did you just said that hit & run as stealth killers is only a noob stomper... It's like... one of the best strategies, if people heal then they get hit via nurses, if they dont they get hit on gens... You only need to avoid the trap of overfocusing on hit and run and never focusing on a single chase, its hard because you have to know all the tiles well.
-
@MadLordJack said:
But... But you'll either be wasting SG or SB...
If you need SG, that means that the killer hit you and you get a free SB. If you have SB, then either the killer hits you anyway and you wasted it becaus enow you have a free SB, or you avoid the killer and waste SG.
The effects stack and maybe even multiplicatively, so you won't waste them.

@MadLordJack said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1583610#Comment_1583610
First, no it doesn't. Not even in the open. Secondly, the fact that her power, no matter what you do or how you play, only works "most of the time" is her core issue. Even ignoring the robs, survivors really do have the option to just avoid her purge, all they need is a maze tile and, for the most, you're an m1 killer just because you're only options are looping it as a 110 killer with very slow projectiles or as a 115 killer with a hefty windup and slow projectiles.
Wait... she is a 115% killer... Also because of how her projectile arc works you can often hit survivors that are behind walls...
Were you trying to hit survivors while looking at them and not at the sky?
-
@MadLordJack said:
She needs some minor tweaks. Her purge travels a little too slow to be any good outside of very, very short range, and her guaranteed fountain needs to be centralised instead of in the corner of the map. If the hit validation fixes her robbed purges, she'll be one of the better killers.
Spray and pray, just spray and pray and it works most of the time.

As someone playing Myers almost exclusively until I feel I'm competent with him, I don't think he needs a direct Buff per say. I just think his Add-ons (the HUGE number of them he simply does not use) could use a rework. I think his niche situation would be solved by having more add-ons which are actually useful. As it stands I use only a tiny number of them.
The issue of his addos is not that they are bad. Their issue is that why would you pick anything else when you have tombstone piece or stalking speed addons.
Not to mention you probably didn't get team of survivors, who are focused mostly at not allowing you to reach t2. Against better survivors you will loose 3 gens by that time.
-
I love self care dead hard combo, you get healed to 99%, so killer will more likely chase you, you can use dead hard earlier, or just rub yourself just before the killer hits you, so you have a free sprint burst. Not to mention that it can combo nicely with 32 charges medkit (lower usage of charges) and bottled time... didnt tested it with syringe properly, but in a few games results were very good.

Yea i get that her ignoring game mechanics can be pretty annoying, but you can still counter her, even a good one. It's just that the survivor skill cap to counter her is way higher than when you are vsing any other killer. Everytime you dip behind an object you force her to guess if you are gonna keep running on or double back. Oh and pallets are suprisingly effective against her especially if shes on her second blink and you stumble into one. You can pull it right as she comes out of the blink and stun her as long as you read which side shes blinking to.
When first trick works she still has one blink and can hit you.
If the second trick works its a bad nurse, you don't blink 2nd time, when its not a quaranteed hit and pallets make it so.

Maybe suggest something?
I think he could have faster action speed when in tier 3, around 15 or 20% increased action speed, buff tier 1 movement speed to 110%, "nerf" Scratched Mirror to reduce his movement speed to original 105%.
I agree with almost everything, he doesen't need better action speed in t3. While in t3 he is one of the strongest killers... but when you reach t3 you usually lost the game because survivors won't allow you to exit t1 freely.
If not buffing his movement speed, faster stalking should do the trick.
Also... its almost the same suggestion ive given in another post 🤔

@Reaver_Raziel said:
Its not a terrible choice, but I dont think its the right one. They really should just look at his add-ons some are too powerful (action slow down, survivors already sleeping when they get in) and some are just meh. If they wanna go outside this area then they should make a few adjustments to his power which is like a lot of different killer, Hag, trapper, plague, huntress, demo, pyramid head and others. Just slow him down when he uses his power.
If he had to slow down a bit he wouldnt be able to use blood pools so free of charge. And this could be a potential buff to his mediocre alternative power the fake pallets, just make it so the add-on dont slow him down when creating fake pallets. So that there would be a reason to pick that over blood pools, because as it stands there are none. Or change one of his not so well made add-ons (like the regression penalties) into one that removes the slow down.
With some of those changes he wouldn't be able to run as many slow down add-ons and still have the same power as before. He would still be able to teleport and pop gens (so he would keep his map control) but he would be less dangerous/obnoxious in chases to compensate, he would lose just a bit of an edge in one of those things because currently if played with those builds he has everything.
He would be then the weakest of set up killers (except demo), better change would be to reduce his amount of traps.

Dying Light sucks. With 6 stacks I'm negating 16.2 (90x1.18=106.2, and 106.2-90 is 16.2) seconds of generator progress on remaining generators, and with PGTW I'm negating 22.5 (90x1.25=112.5, and 112.5-90=22.5) seconds PER POP (+ gives regression). In red ranks getting 6 stacks of dying light means that the match is almost over in favor of the killer which makes dying light useless because the match is almost over, or there are 2 or 1 generators to be done which means dying light impact is gonna be absolutely garbage when compared to PGTW. I can't believe this perk gives only 3% per hook and massive survivor buffs and restrict you to not kill the obssession. Whoever designed this perk is a potato scaried cat survivor I'm sure.
Well... dying light is a perk that works only when you are already winning...
