I only want the dash back. It would be fine on todays maps.
-
They should just bring old manual scamper back and nerf that version a bit.
-
I want the vault speed increase back
-
It‘s a good idea, but I hope they reduce the gen progress back to 33%, where it was before the nerf.

Me too since there are no reworks included in the roadmap and we got Midwich almost directly after they said it would get changes soon.

Same exact thing with Pyramid Head.
When a survivor is approaching a window I put my sword in the ground so they don't vault it, allowing me to get the M1 instead.
It’s not the exact same thing. Pyramid head’s punishment is far easier to dodge than Dracula‘s hellfire and walking/aiming at loops with the sword in the ground is more difficult than with his fire since pyramid head can only walk forward and not backwards or sidewards.

They will adjust her again I am sure. The good news is they have been going through all the killers pretty quickly to make adjustments. Some just need minor tweaks and some need major.
I like that that they are paying attention to all of it
I really hope so.
Are there any things you like or dislike?

I want blights hug tech back to not get stuck on everything. He is unfun ever since they changed him.
-
It‘s honestly a shame, that they didn‘t fix it. They‘ll probably wait for it until her next rework.
-
I 100% agree. This cooldown is so annoying like half of the time I can‘t even activate it on gens because of it and then there is also the 8 regression limit, which puts you in a disadvantage just by using it.

No, not exactly. Hopefully they both remain basically the same. I was just comparing the power level of both. They are the only perks that totally shut down a playstyle with minimal effort.
Would love to see Distortion just lose the scratch mark thing. Its silly.
I just wish lightborn wasn‘t 100% immunity and more like distortion. It‘s quite annoying whenever I bring a flashlight or make a blind build, the killer brings lightborn and it becomes useless. It should make, that it takes 100% longer to blind the killer and make shadowborn part of this perk.
There are more perks that shut down something completly. Calm spirit and the new perk (which I forgot the name) remove scream perks for free.
After seeing how they handled Adre, UW and STBFL, I don‘t think the nerf for distortion will be reasonable. They probably want to get it out of the way.
I agree that the scratch mark part is weird and unnecessary. I personally hope they add 10-15s to the recharge speed or make the aura hidding shorter, so when you equip lethal, it consumes two stacks.
-
For the boon perks I suggest:
- Dark theory: 2% hindered to the killer, 2% haste for survivors and 5% vault speed
- Exponential: You see hook auras in range of the boon. Additionally survivors could be silent on the ground.
- COH: Self care with 45% healing speed and increases healing speed by 45%. (Would make shattered hope basekit if this perk gets selfsame back) or increases normal healing speed by 100%(was 100% altruistic healing speed)
Agree with your shadow step making footsteps silent in its range.

Excellent post. Im glad its become a discussion still and not bickering, yet. :)
My thoughts have been a take to my friends, but I tie Distortion's power to Lightborne. Lightborne kills entire builds passively. Distortion kills entire builds passively, with a token caveat.
Every time something is nerfed/buffed on one side, cries follow to compensate the other side. For me, if Distortion goes, Lightbrone should follow suit.
They both fill the same role for both sides, except Lightborne is constant, 100% of the match. Distortion needs to keep tokens going to run it.
If we change Disortion, I'd like to simply remove the 'hide scratch marks' clause. Its not needed. As long as the aura hide duration doesn't drop below Lethal, I'm content.
100% agree with this one. Hopefully lightborn follows after distortion.
-
He is easier to play, but nerfed in my opinion. They removed the overcloak stacking and now the power runs out a lot faster.

The thing i miss about first version of sadako was that people werent 100% focused on spreading condemnes for instakill turning almost all sadako players into spammers that dont even try to hook anyone. I liked using her semi stealth and mobility as a challenging way to mind game and catch people regardless of how strong or weak she was, she was still capable of killing people. She was even fun to play against back then because it wasnt all about the tvs getting spammed and constantly running to go get ur condemned stacks down. So yea id love to see her revert to before and a slight buff wouldnt hurt so long as it doesnt incentivise spamming
100% agrees. I loved her mobility and the creepy chases she had back then. She was like everywhere at all times. When you thought you were save, she crawls out of the TV next to you. It was so much fun.
My focus was that you can play her in a chase way again while keeping condemned in a good spot. Currently her chase is so bad, because TVs are always offline and the TV auras, which give you always away. The flicker would be a lot cooler to use now and the condemned is probably in a better and less boring spot than it is now.
-
Both are reasonable nerfs, but I would only go with one of them. Just making it‘s duration 6s would already be enough, because then you can just use lethal and it takes two stacks everytime.
I think adding 5-10s to the recharge speed would probably also be enough.
-
I‘m still hoping it goes at least to 180% regression speed.

Nah. Her playstile was extremely unfun for both sides (tp spam + tape break) and behavior said it themself: Many longtime onryo players were not happy about how she changed, so they did it to please them, which they did partly. I personally think her first version was the best and most fun, so I still hope we get that one back with todays buffs.

Tombstone piece should be completely change. A instant kill mechanic is extremely problematic and hard to balance. Pig bear trap a perfect example. It doesn't matter how weak they make the traps.. people keep finding builds to cheese the kills. Sadako got rework back to back to back because of how unbalance a instant kill can get in solo q.
Sadako got reworked to buff her mori mechanic the first time and the second time she got reworked, because people didn‘t like how she changed and not necessarily because the mori was too strong.

If ANY addon in this game is the only appeal to a killer, that should be an obvious sign of a problem. As someone who plays Myers and doesn't touch those addons... I can also say you're wrong in thinking no one plays Myers using his other addons.
Shure you can play without those addons, but they are obviously the coolest ones he has, that‘s also why I never see a Myers without them. I don‘t see that as a problem and I would hate them becoming basekit as well as being removed.

Individual addons are definitely NOT the main point of Myers. Number 3 I understand in that Tier 1 is good for stealth play. Being able to swap back and forth would allow me to play stealthy builds without using perks like monitor.
For me tombstone is one of his main points with the mirror addons. Nobody really plays Myers without either of those addons.
I would prefer when they kept the undetectable in tier two or just gave tier one faster movement speed or both.
-
The dredge and nemesis buffs made them a lot better, but I also hope for a bit more.
For dredge I mainly hope that….
- nightfall resets lockers, so I don‘t have to break 20 locks in a row
- they buff his iris
- make being in a locker counts as searching one to use perks like darkness revealed and Ultimate Weapon easier
Nemesis is in my opinion very good already, but having better/faster zombies would be nice.
-
I think one and two would be fine. 3 Why? What‘s the point of that? 4: Definitely. 5 and 6 Simply no. It‘s the main point of Myers.
I personally hope they don‘t rework him, but they can add some stuff to its current version and buff it. I personally would like to get 4.7 m/s by reaching tier 2 or 3. Maybe they should add another tier for that before tier 3.
-
I always miss the skill check if that happens 😅

Do you mean every injured survivor should be oblivious for 20zec after a hook or as long as the survivor is on hook? Or do you suggest a different buff to Alien Instinct Oblivious part?
He means; After you hook somebody all injured survivors become oblivious for 20s and the furthest injured survivors aura gets shown to the killer.
I think this would be a nice little buff and it would be a lot more useful than it currently is.

Swamp is filled with tall grass, and scratchmarks don't show on tall grass (or anything else that doesn't have collision). Scratchmarks are also bugged on objects with holes or gaps, like this giant net on the wall, these wooden planks above the giant net on the wall, and these stairs that have gaps in between them.
I like it honestly 😆

I don‘t have a problem with one and two. For 3 I suggested in the ptb that nightfall resets lockers, but sadly they didn‘t add that.

I don't see how patch notes can tell you much until you see how the changes manifest in actual games.
- slowdown perks nerfs
- anti 3-gen feature
- DS buffed
- several other survivors perks buffed
- anti-camp feature
- hug tech removed from Blight
- Ultimate weapon gutted
Sure, there were also some buffs for specific killers, or their perks. But I would say recent changes were in favor of survivors overall.
You can do the opposite side too, survivors lost way more than killers did and killers also gained a lot more than survivors did.
I‘m not defending OP on this one since there was literally no survivor nerf this update.

Maybe a bloodpoint code?

Hexes and Boons are, at the moment, fairly unused with some exceptions. This is mostly because the perks are weak, or just because of some general issues. I decided to change some things, which hopefully make these perks better.
General Hex Changes:
• Change the totem spawns so they don't appear in obvious locations (near gens, in open places etc.)
Individual Hex Changes:
Hex: Blood Favor
• Increase the duration of the pallet block to 25 seconds.Hex: Crowd Control
• Increase the duration of the window blocks to 60/70/80 seconds.Hex: Huntress Lullaby
• Remove the stacking, now this perk becomes fully active at the start of the trial.Hex: Ruin
• Increase the regression speed to 100/150/200%Hex: Thrill of the Hunt
• Increase the bonus bloodpoint gain to 20% per totemHex: Two Can Play
• Rework the activation requirement of this perk. Now, this hex lights up when the killer gets stunned for the first time, but deactivates for good after being cleansed.
• Increase the duration of the blind to 2,5/3,0/3,5 secondsHex: Wreched Fate (Full rework)
This perk activates when the first generator is completed, creating a special sixth Hex totem. This totem can be seen and cleansed only by the Obsession. This totem also cannot be blessed.
If the Obsession dies or is sacrificed, the totem will become visible and interactable for everyone.
If the totem is still standing once all generators are powered, the following effects apply:
• The Obsession suffers from a permanent 50% action speed penalty to cleansing/blessing totems.
• The Exit Gates will take extra 15 seconds to open.
• If the Hatch spawns while this Hex is active, it will close itself automatically.
• Unopened Exit Gates regress automatically.
• The entity blocks an exit gate for 10 seconds after it becomes open, and for 3 seconds every time a survivor loses a health state in the exit gate area.General Boon changes:
• Reduce the noises that the boons make significantly to make them quieter.
• Increase the general radius of the boons to 32 metersIndividual Boon changes:
Boon: Illumination
• Make it so that it also shows the auras of totemsBoon: Dark Theory
• Increase the speed bonus to 3%That's all from me for now. If you have any questions or ideas, let me know.
Blood favor is already good.
Your Crowed control buff is fine. It would be funny if it blocks the vaults permanently after they get blocked until the hex gets distroyed.
Huntress lullaby is fine like it is right now. I would only make it apply its effects to killer items skill checks.
Ruin should be 150% and wether or not 200% is too much I don‘t know
Thrill of the hunt: I would want that it is just a perk to buff hexes instead of spawning it‘s own hex.
Two can play: 100% agree with everything except of it getting removed from the game after it got cleansed. Personally I think this perk shouldn‘t be a hex perk.
The boon buffs are good even tho I would buff them more.
-
I‘m hyped for the dredge and nemesis buffs.

I will say, I feel like they went too far with map updates. There are numerous maps (updated Coldwind, Haddonfield, etc) where I genuinely don't know what I'm supposed to be looping. Half the map is a hill and a pallet that only works if you stun the killer (hint: no good killer is going to get stunned at it). It seems like the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing with map balance. Some realms are fine, like Autohaven. Others make me wonder how it passed a playtest, like Haddonfield.
At this point I hope we get more midwitch like maps, because there you have at least something to work with.

doesn't wooden plank expose you 12 seconds before nightfall begins? Like dredge makes sound when nightfall approaches.
Plague:
Iri seal: Every time a generator is completed, fills one fountain with corruption.
Black incense: When the Obsession is fully infected, Reveal their aura every time they cough for 5 seconds.
Nope it‘s the last 12s of nightfall, but it‘s relatively useless, because looping him for 12s is very easy.
If you wana look for yourself

Sadako's Iridescent Remote is fine the way it is, but the Iridescent Tape? Not a fan of it.
Instead of:
- Projection no longer turns off TVs, but also no longer applies condemned
- Increases time required for TVs to turn back on by +20% when turned off by survivors
I would suggest:
- Projection only applies 1 stack of condemned to the TV Sadako projects to
- TV cooldowns from survivor interactions are reduced by 10%
- Holding a cursed tape applies 1 stack of condemned to the survivor holding it when Sadako projects to any TV. Holding a tape prevents TVs from applying condemned.
This would bring back somewhat of the old 1.0 Sadako, buff TV cooldowns a tad, make survivors really think about nabbing a tape to prevent Sadako from coming to them or ignoring it to avoid the tape giving them condemned, and make survivors figure out if the Sadako is running it or not without touching her current kit outside the addon. Honestly this is one of many ideas I'd have for Iri Tape.
Edit: Can I chime in real quick to say your idea of vaulting while holding a survivor would make a really funny perk in general? Love that idea.
Cool addon idea. Would really like to play that one.
Dredge:- Wooden plank Survivors are exposed for the whole nightfall duration. Currently it is only the last 12s of it.
Pig:
- Amandas letter no longer reduces the amount of bear traps available
- Videotape attaches an active bear trap to everyone at the start of each trial
-
I think it was written in the patch notes.
-
I would press never bring it back just because you wrote don‘t click this 😅

I would not agree with Xeno and Ghostface getting that. You can already pull off some pretty sneaky mindgames with crouching at loops as GF that a lot of killers can't do and in general you shouldn't really be chasing a whole lot with him anyway, it's not the best way to use his power. Xeno in power is already strong as it is.
Myers definitely needs some attention but I feel like there are more interesting ways they could buff him than just handing him MFT in tier 3. Though I do agree that tier 3 should be more threatening and/or could use something extra (he also needs his early game to be less of a hindrance, such as by reducing the stalk needed to get out of tier 1 and making tier 1 speed 4.4m/s instead of 4.2).
I agree xeno is strong enough, but it would make sense since he is on all 4 and can brought out of power very fast by turrets.
For ghost face I think it would just be cool.
Agree with what you said about Myers, but the speed would be a very cool thing. It would actually give him a level up instead of just reaching the same speed most killers already have from the start. My friends as I started always said; „He is the fastest killer“ (I don‘t know why), then it would actually be true.

Each guard will have a unique cooldown. Assassin's is 30 seconds, Jailer's is 25, and Carnifex is 20.
With how much counterplay the guards have, a survivor has to be very ignorant to get downed by them.
With how much counterplay the guards have, a survivor has to be very ignorant to get downed by them.
I don‘t want to speak about it, but I will say soloq.
So are the new cooldowns better? I read a lot of mixed opinions about it?

Nah. Skull Merchant basically already gets that and it's one of the biggest problems with her kit. I think conditional haste like Singularity's and Knight's is alright if there's a really good reason to have it (which there is for those 2 killers) but it's not something that should be active for a majority of the match (or even half the match). There are much better ways to buff the weaker killers that don't involve increasing their base speed.
Waterlogged Shoe Hag only gets a pass because it's an iri addon that makes her power significantly worse (ie. it comes with a major drawback).
I agree with the 9% speed increase is too much and big problem with skull merchant.
What do you think about ghost face/xeno in power and Myers in tier 3 (not with tombstone). Those are some where it would be limited and it would make sense and it would only be 2.5%.

Should we not then encourage the buffing of Killers with weak powers, instead of encouraging bHVR to redo loop balance by changing default killer speed?
Yes, but I‘m afraid they give us more haddonfields, which is a terrible map now. I already thought they overnerfed maps in their former reworks and those weren‘t that bad. I would gladly take the 4.7m/s speed instead of more bad map reworks and maps also can be bigger when killers, who struggle with big maps, can patrol easier. I like bigger maps more.
I edited my post above later on: What do you think about skull merchant and the new Dractula‘s dog then. Those are also faster than 4,6 m/s. Skull merchant by a lot basekit.
-
@Emeal said:
Consider that all the maps and for 7 years bHVR has balanced loops around 4,6m/s with a few exceptions in powers and perks.
Why should we make exceptions the norm?Yes, but many maps get nerfed, because of weaker killers while the stronger ones don‘t need it easilier. That is why I asked it. This could balance it a bit out, don‘t you think?
The funny thing is we already have skull merchant with free and almost permanent high haste (bad example I know) and we will get Dracula, who will have 4.8 in his dog form while under effects of the orbs.

My candidate for 4.7 would be this long list of killers.
-Trapper
-Hag
-Skull merchant(I would remove haste tracking from her kit)
-Xenomorph in Crawler mode
-Demogorgon
-Dredge
-Twins
-Ghostface
-Legion
-Freddy
-Doctor(Occurs when a survivor is being chased in madness 3)
-Myer's(Tier 3)You could probably put them all 4.7 m/s and they'd still just be worse then Blight and Nurse, Chucky etc.
I think those who you could do easily and it would make sense in their power are ghost face, Myers an xeno.
The killers I wish had it are pig, trapper, doctor, GF and Myers. Trapper could probably get better buffs to his power instead of this. Same with doctor and pig.
Twins, dredge, demo and hag are all killers, who are already strong enough in my opinion, so they don‘t really need it. In dredges case after the update.
Skull merchant is too unfun and I do not like the haste she got already, but it would be at least less than she currently has.
For Freddy I would wait how his rework turns out, which I think will be in the next midchapter.
On legion I‘m mixed. The first injure is always free and making the down easier would probably make him too …
-
I like the idea. It would also be cool if his traps would spawn armed to give some potential value before you run around and arm or take them.
-
I would love that too. Maybe if they would make a TV world with the well inside like in the last Halloween event, which you can enter by crawling inside the TV.
They once planned a map for her with her release, but I don‘t know what happened to it before release. Maybe we will get it one day, would be so cool.
