I do hunt down survivors and break gens after I hook someone. I only stay in the area if something makes me suspicious, like if I see scratch marks or hear cries of pain/crows, and even then I still go around and break nearby gens, search around rocks and inside lockers.

When I play survivor, what I do happens 70% of the time. I actually find it fun coming up with strategies to get the survivor off of the hook, and usually get hit once. ("Proxy camping" not facecamping, facecamped survivors are nearly impossible to rescue)

I also luckily have ps4 so I don't need to deal with post game chat.

That really doesn't sound all that bad. The comment about keeping the hooked survivor in your eyesight most of the time does make it sound like you probably come right back to the hook when a person is getting off hooked and that causes the irritation I mentioned above. Either the off-hooked person is tunneled, which pisses people off or the off-hooker having to take it, which also pisses people off. At the end of the day though, some people will never be pleased. Some people take losing a match way too personally. Sometimes it's just that they've had a string of bad opponents, so anything you do is going to trigger them. LOL If you're not getting a lot of messages in that regard, you're probably doing just fine by the survivor community. They would message you a lot more if you were playing like an a-hole. 😂

Mode that killers have no terror radius, gens aura and other kind of aura are turned off. Surs leave no scratch marks. Enhance breathing and running sound for both side.

This somehow solves swf, maybe?! Imagine the possibilities.

Ok, but instead of flashlights and maps, survivors find weapons in chests and can use their combined force to murder the killer. 🙄

Literally almost every game has campers and I lose rank progress. Is this just my games? I think that there should be ways to stop tunneling without perks. Example: when the killer is X meters and closer to the hooked survivor, the timer stops. Or maybe: after getting unhooked, you are invincible for 1 second (for all those killers who wait for the hooked survivor to get unhooked, then immediately hit them).

I’m all for killers, but getting these types of killers makes me enjoy this awesome game less. Losing rank progress doesn’t seem fair when real gameplay isn’t happening.

It is not just you. It is almost every single match.

I played 4 matches today. The first match the killer tunneled my teammate to death. Everyone else escaped. Everyone got ######### points. That poor person depipped. They hadn't done anything to the killer (not a teabag, not a flashlight, not even a particularly long chase). The killers excuse, "I'm bad at Trapper". :| The second was an Insideous Bubba and thanks to DBD's cheeky sense of humor when it comes to RNG - all 4 survivors spawned in next to the Killer...next to the basement. He downed my teammate and Insideous camped her to death in the basement. He got 16k...yet somehow was a Rank 1 Killer. :| The third match was a new-to-Legion Killer who lost...in post-game chat everyone GG'd except one ######### survivor who had to type "EZ!". They were not good themselve, and got told off. Last match was a Huntress who proxy'd the hooks to down the off-hooker. Which, by comparison to matches 1 and 2 is not that bad, but by this time I was over it. I never play more than 3 or 4 matches of DBD in a row anymore. It just gets old so fast now.

I had to ask this question from a game I just had lol. I closed the hatch while a claudette was running towards it and she just sat there staring at me. she started to walk away slowly and I felt so bad that I let her escape. i’m always like this so I usually let a survivor escape if they give me the puppy eyes. I know some see it as “unfair” but i’m a sucker for cute survivors. 🥺👉👈

Do you usually let the last survivor go or are you all about no mercy?

    Yes, most of the time.

I like to see if I can get high BP/Pip by NOT killing people, just focusing the other core objectives: finding/hitting survivors, chases, gen/palette destruction, hooking. I don't camp/tunnel, but I don't play easy. If I get a bad team and they are all death hook long before they're close to escape, I just focus the other objectives to max. If I max em out, I just meme with em. I usually safety pip when everyone escapes.

However, most of the time someone will either suicide, not knowing they would have had a great match, or they die because their teammates don't save them...in which case I will pip.

If I get a toxic person/team, I will just death hook. Or if I am trying to do my daily and they are making it super difficult, I'll just kill them. In those cases I usually double pip, so letting people go and safety pipping balances out in the end and I don't usually lose any rank. But typically I go into every match with no focus on killing anyone.

I choose to play like this because I am a solo survivor main and fully understand how exhausting, frustrating, and unfun it is to have back to back to back sweaty, merciless killers who give a ######### all about any objective besides killing you as quickly and cheaply as possible. I like to consider it being the change I want to see in the DBD world. Survivors in my matches pretty much always get 20k+ pts and I rarely get post-chat salt. 👍️

  • I really like this combo on my Meg:

    image.png

I loved the biohazard Nurse outfit, even though I rarely ever play Nurse (lol):

    image.png

And moose head Huntress looks meaner than she is <3:

    image.png

  • Spirit.

She is both fast and invisible. With Stridor you cannot avoid being heard, even with Iron Will, so slowing down to misdirect her can often be a detriment. Spirit mains also seem to be better tryhard for some reason. LOL Chasing is a big part of the fun of this game - she sucks the fun out of it for me.

Now when you're running through the maps of DBD and you haven't met the killer yet it makes sense that you're bright eyed and full of spunk. However after that sharp object slices your body up like a lawnmower you start to wonder...why am I still full of so much energy. And if my character is limping...why haven't I slowed down at all? But you're still being chased so you ignore it and then in a while you find yourself hanging in the air with a metal hook sticking out thine shoulder. Your comrade rescues you but your journey isn't over yet. The killer is nearby. So after all that you run at full speed still limping holes all over your body, blood dripping from every hole whether it was there before or not. And yet, how? If you are limping how are you running at the same speed as someone who has no limp? Someone who isn't suffering from severe blood loss? Now I play both sides of this game and I can say that playing survivor is boring because the challenge and scare factor is gone. It's just a meme at this point. But if there were a 5% maybe even 10% movement penalty to injured survivors until they were healed fully it would not only promote altruism but make killers like: Plague, Legion, and Clown better because people would need to heal in order to be able to get away from them. And if this happened it may also mean that blood lust may need to also be reduced a little but if you get to the third tier what are you really doing with your life anyway?

    Absolutely not.

Killers are ALREADY faster than survivors.

While injured, you make noise (unless you carry a specific perk).

While injured, you spew blood (that can be tracked even better with a specific perk).

You already have several points of disadvantage. This would simply make chasing/hooking freshly off-hooked survivors even more of a viable strat for killers and even more miserable for survivors.

You want to know why they limp, but don't slow down? Adrenaline.

PS: this is a video game.

  • Last hooked survivor always gets cucked. It's not a bug.

  • @Tricks said:

I really like the Nurse, it's just frustrating being put up against green, purple and even red ranks when I'm trying to get my hard earned practice hours in.

At the start of every match I'm like "here we go, another red rank bully fest"

All too predictably now it's at least 9 times out of 10 that I'm right on this. So I just close the post match chat window now and let them derp away to themselves.

This month I've tried to stick to it and only play nurse but it just gets so depressing after the first even 2 or 3 matches that I inevitably go back to ANY other killer just to grab a breath and relax a bit.

I think Nurse should be on a whole different killer rank queue to all other killers., that way we'd have a fair chance of getting some descent practice in before getting into the misery grind.

It'd be a nice to have to help with the learning curve before the high rank derpstorm begins but probably asking a bit much on this one.

Nurse is hard, and people are mean. I dont envy your grind. Hang in there. A mastered Nurse is an unstoppable force. <3

  • There is a difference between Camping (when you literally stand in front of the survivor and watch them die) and Proxy Camping (when you leave the hook, but stay in a small radius to either tunnel the hooked survivor when they get off or attack the off-hooker).

Proxy Camping does feel cheap and lazy to survivors. There are four main objectives to this game for both sides. When you hook 1 person and proxy camp them, you aren't applying any gen pressure/breaking gens. You aren't hunting down survivors and initiating new chases. You are simply using the hooked person as bait to trade them for another survivor.

What happens during an off-hook also determines the level of salt a survivor will have about it. Whether or not you want to cause/accept that salt is up to you. If you tunnel the person being off-hooked to down them and re-hook them, you should keep in mind you are ruining their match and probably are going to cause them to de-pip outside of their control and get very few points. This sucks. While it's not against the game rules, it understandably is upsetting.

If you run in and attack the off-hooker, while being the preferably thing to do over tunneling the person getting off-hooked, you're still going to get people upset about it because it essentially means every person who goes for a save is just going to hook trade. If you are within a close enough range to run back before they can complete an off-hook animation, they have to take a hit in order to save and once they do, you will be able to down them at the hook. No chase points. Just a trade. Half the fun of this game is good chases, and its also how you generate points. Again, it just feels cheap and lazy to be robbed of this aspect of the game and be incapacitated from doing your objectives as survivor because you wanted you teammate to have a chance to play the game too.

Camping is also a lot less viable against Survive With Friends teams. They will likely have info perks and they will have comms. So instead of off-hooking, they will focus gens and let the hooked person die. In those cases, you will get very few points and probably depip. So while any form of camping can be effective against a group of random survivors, you may find this strategy more challenging against higher ranked SWF.

I never camp/tunnel/slug as killer. I would rather hone my actually skills and abilities as killer...especially as Huntress. She is my fave. So I want to be engaging in chases. Figuring out mind games. Improving my hatchet accuracy and timing. And I'm not doing that if I'm running mindless circles around the hook radius waiting for an easy target.

But, as stated above, how you choose to play is completely up to you. If you don't care about others enjoyment of the game...and are more interested in focusing on your personal enjoyment and progression...you do you. I would recommend closing out of post-game chat pretty quickly though. LOL

If you do care about whether or not others have fun in the game, just play it by ear. If you're going against a strong team and they're popping 2-3 gens by the time you get one person on a hook...use a proxy camp tactic to put pressure on them. Slug the off-hooked person and go after the off-hooker so they have less bodies doing gens but can get the guy who was off-hooked up and he can get back in the game while you get another hook. If you are dominating a team and have several hooks under your belt by the time they have completed a single gen...go patrol generators instead of proxying the hook and give them a little breathing room to reset. I always try and play against people the way I would want someone to play against me in the current situation.

Lastly, the camping issue really goes out the window after the last gen is completed. If the last gen gets done and you have someone on the hook, or get someone on the hook, no one can really blame you for defending it...you don't have anything else to do besides secure your kill. Will it make people salty? Yes. Will you probably hear about it in post-game chat? Yes. But coming from a survivor main - it's understandable.

  • @TheButcher said:

They are not compariable, you're right.

You only get a Mori from the blood web, it's used only once, and requires a balanced objective before being able to use it.

Key's you can get for free during a match. You can keep it at the end of a match even if you don't use it. You can use add ons and offerings to keep it longer. Using it not only gives you a free win, but anyone else nearby or finds the free win mechanic before the Killer.

The only counter to it is to tunnel/camp the person with the Key and the Key when it's on the ground. While the only way to counter a Mori is by playing the game properly.

Now that's explained, wanna know why we have Key's?

The Hatch Mechanic wasn't in the original game, the hatch mechanic was only brought to the game because BHVR had a problem with players (Survivors) taking the game hostage by hiding during the end of the match instead of doing gen's. BHVR responded to the players literally exploiting a game mechanic, by rewarding them a mechanic that would grant them a free win for being the last survivor. Then after that - for fun - they've added Key's and the all escape achievement. Then followed by trying to balance both the hatch, and key's for years. To honestly no avail, because it's an entirely broken mechanic in the first place, that was a poor decision to implement in the first place.

Now that's explained, wanna know why we have Mori's?

Because BHVR wanted Killer's to have a cool, and unique killing animation - so they've added Mori's. Being as overpowered as they were. They had to change them to require at least one hook before you can use it, which makes sense from a balancing stand point as most survivors that are good at the game wouldn't get hooked once, let alone get caught twice. However this does make issues for when Killer's use Mori's against players that are not yet good at the game, so I could see balancing for Mori's be revisited in the future.

As you can see. Key's are vastly more over powered than Mori's, but yes they shouldn't be compared. I think because they were put in the game for two totally different reasons.

"While the only way to counter a Mori is by playing the game properly."

😂😂😂 There is no counter to a mori. You are designed to get caught if you are chased. And you will get tunneled if you are hooked. But nice try.

Also, don't be cheeky. A killer has to do 30% of his actual job in a match if he brings a mori. Survivors have to do 1 more gen than the number of people on the map. Which means at 4 people, survivors have to do 100% of their job. At 3 people, they have to do 80%. At 2 people, they have to do 60% and the last guy can finally have some reprieve because it isn't meant to be a 1v1 game, and he is disadvantaged terribly at this point (hence why the hatch was actually introduced).

A mori can be used in the first minutes of the game, immediately shifting the balance in the killer's favor. A key cannot be used until significant end game, if at all. And key escapes happen significantly less frequently than moris because its very obvious moris are more OP. You are bananas.

Killers aren’t much better. I’ve had salty rude messages from killers, I have killers that play as ghost face who sit there and Continuously t-bag when they down you, ive had killers leave me on the ground and wait for me to bleed out instead of hooking me, i get killers that mori spam me, tunnel me out of the game, face camp me to death even if it’s at the start of the game. There are sweaty toxic killers out there

BT and DS is useless unless you tunnel or camp.

my point is, dbd has the most toxic community. Killers get sick of the way survivors play and survivors get sick of the way killers play. There’s toxicity on both sides not just from survivors. In my opinion

I think some of the changes that the devs have been made haven’t helped the situation at all but it‘s bad on both sides. It’s not one sided

    Big yup.

If we ever got a random chance to mori, it would probably have to be small, like 4%.

I wouldn't mind if it worked like modified version of rancor.

Once all gens are done, there is a 4% chance that one lucky player's aura is revealed. If you down that player, you get the mori.

This should probably not work if the killer is using a mori offering.

This sounds both infuriating and kind of fun. 😂 It would definitely be a "#########" moment for survivors. But you would likely get some mean post-game chat. LOL

Mori activation requirement: 1 hook and 1 down.

Key requirement: Get the hatch to spawn.

How difficult is it to use at high level play?

Mori: You have to down 1 survivor twice (if used toxically, that is). That can take up to 2 minutes for each one (depending on the survivor), which can allow them to get all the gens done, and for the others to escape. That is if you tunnel that one survivor. All survivors are given a warning that you are using a mori as well, so they will probably sweat even harder. I have seen killers bring moris but not kill a single survivor because they don't get caught or don't get caught twice. That and I have seen people dc when they get downed twice, even if they were not tunneled, just to avoid one.

Key: You have to get more gens done than people alive for the hatch to spawn. The first 3 usually go pretty quickly, if you can get the last 2 done, then there is at least 1 guaranteed escape. Depending if you are preparing ahead of time, you can hide the fact you have a key. However, if survivors are pressured, they may prepare for a hatch game. This means that they will check for a key on corpses or in chests. The mere presence of a key (without a White Ward or Weaved Ring) practically guarantees 1 survivor escapes, but I have had games with 3 survivor escapes because of a key. All because I was applying a little bit of pressure.

And a personal gripe about keys: it is very hard for me to see keys in the menu. They are small and are a similar color to the ground, combined with the fact that my eyesight is not the best... I cant see keys in the lobby. So when people escape and I see they had a they had a key, I get pissed because I literally couldn't see it coming.

Welcome to what's like to be a survivor. 😂

  • @SmarulKusia said:

I often see Killer Mains make the argument of, “if survivors can have keys! Then killers can have Moris!”

but those two aren’t comparable like at all. Killing survivors is the killers objective - that is a fact, as killer, you’re hoping to kill all the survivors in the game. As survivor, your objective is to do gens.

Keys are highly situational to begin with - you’re not even guaranteed to get to a stage where hatch spawns for the player to use the key. A mori - whilst admittedly needing to be “unlocked”, is far quicker to use within a match than a hatch is. You can get a mori kill before 2 gens are done.

Keys aren’t even commonly ran by survivors - in my hundred of games as survivor, I’ve only escaped using a key probably 5 or so times. As a killer - in my hundreds of games, I’ve only ran into two games where a key was actually used in game.

Moris can be achieved in-game quicker and end the game quicker - they don’t take up a necessary spot in the kit as they come as an offering. With a key, you have to wait till end-game essentially to use the item, which is a part of the game that you’re not even guaranteed to reach - on top of the fact that it takes up an item slot.

these are not comparable at all. I hate seeing the argument that they are when they’re blatantly not

Your key can also be knocked out of your hand (Franklin's). A mori can't even be DS'd on if you're tunneled off the hook. 😉

  • I tend to agree...if I sit on a hook while the killer is off doing their thing and zero teammates make an effort to even come my way, I assume they're fine without me.

If someone is coming but just super timid and theres a little heart beat or something...I stick it out.

Or if I am getting face camped, I will stick it out so they can finish as many gens as possible.

Imagine complaining that Killers want a secondary objective so that gens don't get done in under 5 minutes. Survivor are FAR less perk-reliant than the vast majority of Killers, they can survive without having a 4-pack of second chance perks and use something to actually counter the Killer perks that they love to complain about so much

:| yeah, survivors really have the luxury of getting to use fun, unqiue perks and can definitely survivor in solo random matches easily without any second chance perks. 🙄

And the devs are questioning it in the player survey, which stands to reason they're looking into it.

So a friend of mine that is a survivor main asked me to go to a custom game to try window tech.

Even tho it didnt work (because he was practising) many people can use this "juke" really well to make the killer lose all the advantage he had on you, even tho it is easily counterable.

    And this kept me thinking...

Isn't this a "juke" based on a flaw of the game? This is dependant on the fact that the killer becomes immaterial in the middle of the vault animation. It seems to me, abusing a flawed game mechanic and nothing more than that. Just to clarify: feel free to use it as it is a devs fault for making it like it is and not youra for using it, im not saying "screw people who use it".

I know it takes practice, but it shouldnt exist, like the poor FoV that killers have.

Another thing that bothers me is the hook tech.

Why the hell can a survivor put himself behind a hooked person and the killer not?

And why did they remove the "wall smacking" when smacking someone on the hook? Auto aim also sucks so it doesnt help on the matter.

EDIT: TLDR; Window tech shouldn't exist even tho it is easily counterable by hearing the survivor or huggign the wall. It's a game flaw. Hook tech shouldn't exist.

My question is: Do you think that window tech is a good game mechanic or is it based on a flaw of the killer's mechanics?

    Share your thoughts.

Yes, the window tech should exist. If you go out a window and see no survivor and no scratch marks, turn around. Its a unique, skill-based method of escaping and risky AF.

Also, I thought the "hook tech" was fixed so people can't do that anymore. 🤷

And the killers FOV isn't poor, its intentional for the suspense and fun of the game, and definitely should exist.

  • Just give it time. This is already happening. Quarantine will end eventually. LOL

  • No Mither is by far the worst perk.

This is different from a flashlight blind. Wraith can be lightburned and stunned whenever he is cloaked by shining a flashlight anywhere on his body. Wraith is unable to use his power against some teams if they have at least two flashlights and do gens in groups of two. I've had it happen to me. Whenever I would approach a gen someone would stun me with a flashlight. I had to play powerless Wraith for the entire match to avoid being constantly stunned by flashlights.

I see, I see, that sounds doodoo.

I hate SWF flashlight teams when I play killer. You catch one - turn around - flashlight save. You catch them again, against a wall so the guy on the right cant flashlight you, turn to the left to find a hook...there's a guy on the left, flashlight save. :|

I understand the sucky nature of flashlights...but at least thats not all that common.

But you shouldnt be able to shine it anywhere and have an effect on the killer. It should have to be somewhat skillful.

    Im terrible with flashlights.

Thanks for the condescension, but the fact that there is clear bias - the actual point of the conversation - is evident in what I provided to you. :) You are welcome to disagree. But it is what it is. And its not very subtle.

You also want a more effective comparison of bias in relation to camping/tunneling? These play styles are seen as viable strategies to the devs. You know what was also viable? Infinites. They were built into the game on purpose. Looping is a viable game strategy. "but the counterrrrrrs"...um bloodlust? PWYF? etc. Yet, loops are getting completely nerfed and camping/tunneling remains unaddressed, despite being hellaciously rampant. Both "ruin" games for people, camp/tunnel arguably more because even a mediocre killer can do it to two people per match. But only one side is getting any relief. 🙄 #bias

I've found it's very unreliable to "see" Ghost Face. If I see GF, I just high tail it out of there and try to break his stealth on the run.

    Best choice, for sure.

Thats whats wrong with the community. Teabagging was created as an insult, and thats what most people use it for.

Your answer might be to ignore it, but i dont want to play with people that are for no reason rude and insulting to their fellow gamers.

Sure, the gesture might not be critical, but the intend behind it is.

Dude, games have implemented taunting emotes since the dawn of time. This is not new. This is not uncommon. The fact that we don't have more emotes in-game is what I find weird. People would definitely pay money for them.

  • My thoughts are that asking the question ONLY about survivors, and leaving out every action a killer does to illicit the same effect, shows bias. I am not into that - at all.

You seem to be like the type of person that would want to nerf Amanda's face masks because they can kill people if they dont search boxes. So your opinion is invalid.

    Next

    You clearly don't know me.

Yeah, that's super relatable..."the killer shouldn't get free downs when chasing people being altruistic to save their teammate after pwning him all game" is definitely on par with "nerf an existing core game mechanic for a killer". 🙄

And this would definitely be fair to the solo survivor on a map who has incredibly limited time/chance to open the door anyway...so when the killer is right on his heels he can get downed INSIDE THE EXIT GATE and die.

Don't be an idiot. This is a stupid idea that only advantages Killers.

  • Also really ######### curious why, if teabagging made the fairness list, why didn't hitting people on the hook, nodding/twirling, stutter-following slugged survivors, KILLER teabagging. This definitely makes the survey seem like it's just to find out what else killers want and gives me zero confidence solo survivors will be getting any love in future patches. 🙄

In theory at least if you are getting the notifications for him looking at you, that means your stealth is about to break and therefore won't be able to one-hit people now...

You would think, but this ######### is broken AF.

Suprisingly you made me feel a little better, maybe they didnt deserve to be in red ranks but just because i couls not do mt objective most of the time cause they wpuld always loop me and i could not do anything was stressful. I really want to get better at the game but think its dumb that i have to purchase dlc to have goos stuff in the game to have a chance to win its a bit dumb. But they made a pretty good job at making me waste my money on killers and perks

I agree, when you go in to have fun and play fair and a team of survivors is playing really hard and stopping you from doing what you need to do, it gets old fast. I tried doing my killer dailies yesterday and the team got a crappy map for the killer I was playing (Leatherface daily)...so after trying several times to get the chainsaw objective - because I'm admittedly terrible at that killer - I just killed them all with M1. LUL I don't general kill teams when doing dailies. Just 2nd hook everyone and then hit/slug them so they can max points too. But if you stop me from being able to do what I'm there to do...I dont really have anything else to do but kill you. 😂 But it does feel exhausting at the end of the match when all you wanted to do was play a fun, casual match and enjoy yourself. There are QoL issues on both sides, and I agree getting SWAT teamed is blah.

is that object of obcession she brings????

don't blame her, but the problem with implementing a give up button for survivors is that the first time they can give up and never get hooked, or worse, they can give up when their friend found the hatch giving them an easy hatch

    Nah, fam. It's Kindered.

  • @not_Queef said:

I'd rather they just let survivors recover without assistance. It wouldn't affect me at all as killer, since I very rarely slug.

Killer could still slug for temporary pressure. It just wouldn't sap all the fun out of the game in the process.

The only issue with that is that in this scenario the killer would have just smacked me down repeatedly, which gives them more points, and is even more annoying. Plus killers would lose their ######### if unbreakable was made basekit. LUL

Let me start of by saying I am against having a totem counter because it would basically be a nerf to totem perks by removing the uncertainty of them. Given the amount of complaints in regards to NoEd that flood the forums, many people have suggested a counter because they don't want to give up a perk slot to counter the Killers perk slot.

If one does get implemented, I would think that it would only be fair that Killers get the same treatment and have certain "uncertainties" be removed for them as well, so I suggest that whenever Borrowed Time or Decisive Strike is active, the Survivor should glow a bright yellow in order to help remove some of the guesswork from Killers.

Just as it is difficult to keep track and cleanse five totems, it is difficult to keep track of who has been hooked, especially if everyone is playing the same character.

Neither of those things should be implemented into the game.

  • I know it doesnt make you feel any better, but seeing as to how the top guy only got 20k-something and everyone else was in the teens, it couldnt have been THAT bad. You probably killed most of them, with those numbers. Which just means either you should be higher or they should be lower. Just because they are red ranks doesnt mean they deserve to be there or are better than you. The system is broke.

Time and time again i’ll be playing with friends, doing great. Gens done, great teamwork, healing, callouts, looping killers. And then it happens. You get the last gen done and see that glimmer of hope. The Exit Gates. But right as you reach it..*DUN DUN* NoEd proctors and all that progress, time, and teamwork is flushed down the drain by the easiest crutch perk in the game. NoEd isn’t a perk that needs to exist. It’s horrible. It proves that you can try as hard as possible and still have all that mean nothing because a killer can get his easy kills on you and your teammates. OtzDarva has proven this multiple times and has even gone out of his way to have streams dedicated to the fact that it’s unfair and unbalanced. Remove NoEd from the game. Make us all happy. Show us that you are infact. Doing a pretty good job so far.

If you were playing with that much teamwork and doing that well against the killer, there should be NO QUESTION that you get all the totems done on a team. I do the best I can as solo, but sometimes don't get them all. On the occasions I play with ONE other person, we always knock them all out. There is almost no excuse to ever see NOED - ESPECIALLY in a full team. You clearly just need to change your strategy to include totems.

When a killer camps both exit gates when there are 2 survivors left, I get myself into so many situations like this and was wondering can the killer get reported for that, same with when the killer camps 3 gens when they are very close to each other and no one can do anything but sacrifice themselves to the killer cause they don’t wanna stay in a match for no longer than 10 minutes.

    side-eye-chloe.jpg

If y'all 3-genned yourselves, how is it the killer's fault for patting the only gens you left on the map? ######### else is he gonna do? 😂#yourfault

Door RNG, on the other hand, sucks, but no - also not the fault of the killer that he has no where else to be. On the plus side, door progress doesn't regress...so just tap tap tap

As a survivor main, who enjoys playing killer, there are only upsides to this, as the only downside can be countered:

    1. Bloodwarden recieves an indirect buff, and quite a strong one at that without being game breaking.
    2. Someone bodyblocking an injured survivor doesnt become a free escape for a survivor who doesnt exactly deserve an escape.
    3. little to no room for BM as a killer can infact instadown you in the gate.

    The only downside?

    1. if you as a survivor would otherwise have escaped and earned it, or if you have a teammate that has been tunneled, you have less room to tank the hit.

Which is totally fine, considering the speedboost you gain from tanking a hit outside the exitgate area is more than enough to actually escape. So you should start body blocking earlier on, but body block too much while running to the exit and you're in danger of being instadowned.

As a survivor main, I dont see any real issues this could show up by implementing this:

    1. if im injured and inside without NOED, I would be hit anyway - no difference
    2. if im healthy and hit outside with NOED, I would very likely have been hit anyway - no difference
    3. If im healthy and hit outside without NOED, I would escape either way - no difference
    4. If im healthy and inside without NOED, I would be downed, which would be my fault for being greedy, as I can otherwise gain some distance. - not exactly an issue

    Hell-to-the-NO.

    Next.

id make it a perk option..."the magic pill" activate ability while in the dying state to instantly trigger death. it would be good to proc hatch for teammates when slugged.

If it was 7 days, I could just eat some glass. 🤣

It sounds awesome on paper but i see a lot of people bleeding out suiciding if they got caught too early. As it is i see.people who go on their first hook early and then just bail. Usually when ive used something like survivor pudding 😑

I would agree, if it was instant. If you had to sit through a minute or two of your bleedout timer and still werent picked up, especially early in a match, I'd be pretty ready to leave. Or if you're repetitively slugged so many times that you reach 1-2 minutes of bleedout timer...yeah, I'd be over that super quick too. LOL Lemme goooo.
